[Music] get them out right now we got to catch them first thing this morning i'm putting some rods out right now as we speak like i mean crane wrecked them in the first period we caught 30 pounds day one we're gonna win we're gonna need one of those epic moments epic mornings that you just you know if i caught everything that i caught or the big day one of the pres they won the tournament probably caught 40 pounds if that could happen this morning and then we can go two fish here two fish there i'm not catching numbers i'm catching quality big ones in it and it was part of the deal like i got it i gotta catch a really big one gotta catch multiple big ones really quick and early this morning and i gotta maintain so that's the game plan i'm rigging stuff up right now at the last minute stuff i'm gonna rig it up and then take it to the pond 100 degrees all right y'all we are tightening everything up getting everything together beautiful morning here on lake travis sun's just about to come up see y'all out there rawr it's game time you know what that means let's go make this thing happen [Music] hmm there's fish there's a fish everywhere it's 17 feet long hopefully we can make it happen on this back side it's interesting how they set up every day it's a little bit different i'm looking there's obviously not as much wind today and that was a huge thing that helps me day in and day out but it's also just a rotation if you can get on that rotation the right little the right little stretch when they're high in the water column you don't need much wind just if you hit it right on their head stingar there's a lot of carp spawning over there too but they're smalling me i'm not catching them big ones today let's play that one just real quick i mean it's a one five but that's one one four one four yeah i just sort of felt like he was that but i just i'm not been catching very many little ones and so did it did it did it we are literally right here jacob's like i don't know 30 30 yards away adrian's like he got one but there's a delay we're like we know he did they're making tv magic let's ride there you go i don't know why this one for sure one pound eight ounces i was let's say that one right there looked like it wanted not the one we're after well we'll take those for sure damn we'll take them but we didn't that's not the kind we're gonna need to win for sure i was figuring a little bit bigger for the first one but i'll take him that's right i'm not going far here we go keep going that sucker was up there i tried he was on i saw him try to get it and i dropped it and sure enough we need them really big ones to win this thing today like those are nice fish and all but and everyone's gonna matter but we got to get a couple of those five pound bites probably to win i know it it's like it's just that's how it is up here is the nature of the beach you're not gonna get a ton of bikes sure my stuff is not we're not going far we're just gonna pop up oh good one got him oh thank goodness two pounds 13 ounces sir there you go with wine in one eye there we go update well he's going to sucker punch you update um jacob we think just caught a big end cara was taking a leak was taking the lead so we missed it but maybe that's the key today we're waiting for jt and marty to stop talking so they can show it so we're all going to start chugging water and then hopefully that's the lucky charm by the end of the day the live one's going to be full all right i call it i call he's going to catch one okay seven wow mess that one up there should almost be a guarantee hit those other two oh big fish bobby lane bobby ain't no joke [Music] out dang just not catching the big ones oh there we go two pounds three ounces i don't know if that'll make it one i saw under there probably a five pounder just sitting there pitching that cigarette 10 ounces 2 10. yeah yeah i saw that some gun you name sucker he went i said yes sir all right slow and steady wins the race we gotta name blast out the dane gates off the first period we need another big and we need two biggins last little bit man we got 20 minutes to do it too got to keep it going yeah march is called a 3-6 that's his biggest one of the tournament i believe so far so currently right now i got jacob in first marking second the team all right that's the end of the period i'm gonna re-rig some rods gotta we gotta float till it out here today rooting us on we've got some work to do though i'm gonna sort of see what i'm anticipating we're gonna sort of see what happens in that second period i i'm not exactly sure oh boy i just man i never really had the bites but i will probably run back to that marina dock later just because that winds starting to blow on it now rather than washing it and having everybody you know i figured i would work and then just go down that stretch dock so that's where it goes down too and they seem like they're still up pretty high he's just hanging there like well i think i think pete pushed him over or something oh pete pete i heard that peach looked down wonder why you said you were still going fast you had pete i know right dude i ran 69 30 this morning do i have snacks yeah but i have something what do you mean anything we'll take everything you're willing to give up nothing you need to prepare for anything oh my gosh [Applause] thanks babe that's a good little academy plug like i skip and i hear i guess they're on the name top of the water all right don't hey we are going to end up cutting out before the break okay so give her help i appreciate it crappie crappie crappie how many we have seven bass i mean yesterday that's all i caught was seven and they were all freaking big so cute that's a big one i mean three four five pounder i don't know that's being big we needed that one bad it wasn't really anything fundamentally we did wrong it just just come off yeah boy good boy i've been two dogs in a row about two pounds five ounces sure i was two bites in those two dogs man big topwater bite i'd be all right get them in the boat yeah boy i'm waiting for the biggens but i'll take every one of these until they come show up two pounds two ounces probably what it is i didn't call most all the big ends and now the little ones would finally get up there and feel comfortable they're like oh heck no i'm coming back down this stuff i had three bites down this stretch all right i tried hard to find him out off shore yesterday didn't find him oh yes sir there we go got a little and i was like man there's no way down there we go not not a giant one but man that's good to see it's exactly what i was sort of anticipating to i figured up in the day i could get if this wind that's actually happening right now if i could catch a couple on top i haven't run down a lot of the stretches that i caught them on the first day and so i think i could the dock bite seems to die off a little bit more but you can still catch a few but together i feel like you can make it happen i've run new water doing this but i haven't run the water that i gotten bit off of really and taking my time going down the stretches boom baby there we go there we go boys three pounds five ounces all right y'all you ready are you ready are you ready are you sure you're ready are you guys ready i'm here to hit the igloo let me hear it it's not it's little that's a little ding it's a little ding that's fair enough see you later but pete's been sitting on the igloo that's what it is it's okay pete gotta you gotta watch out for that bell you know you can't mess it up i'm just getting beat now pete and i got behind the camera last time we were together we we wanted herb now we gotta we gotta do it again that one right there that was i like that they might make it maybe just weigh him real quick one pound seven ounces tried him and he was right there too unreal so a lot of the people out there watching along and following along see something cast i'm making i'm actually using the seven threes my seven three medium heavy action rod but if you're learning trying to learn how to skip and cast get better i would definitely recommend going to a seven footer at first you want to make sure you have a super free reel if you can't make those casts this is like by far the best reel that i've the best reel that i've had used as far as being free it's actually a little signature series reel of mine that uh actually is only available at academy right now it's a duck at paradigm casting reel and dude this sucker just oh wind's blowing on that dock pretty good all i'm gonna slide over here be done with it and sort of i might have to hit it pretty quickly but i got to hit it watch out 30 seconds that's not a bass okay let's get her got somebody's crankbait looks like well we got to definitely get it done in this last period solid period lost you know one fish but we're on track we just got to make it close it out in this last period all right y'all we are only what six pounds up or so six something up right now and we got to close this period out strong we had 24 pounds i believe i believe uh bobby big fish bobby lane's got 18 something so or 17 18 something i'm swapping my line out making sure everything's good to go did have one that broke me off that probably pounded three quarter was close to two pounder but hey we're gonna try to give ourselves the best opportunity to win this final period and you guys are coming along with us wish us luck now i'm gonna hit this this little bit of community dock right here wind was not blowing at first either so that's why i'm like could be a couple of them slid up high on the water column a little now non-squirrel i like the fact that i can still throw top water and sort of mix it up it's waiting i had two bites on this dock the first day since then i've not caught them when you get a bite on a dock there's only a few that live there and you can always go back and catch a couple of them pretty decent one right there just didn't get it but at least we're getting some bites i think i don't know if that one over there and grabbed it i couldn't see him that one probably did but that's why i was like oh heck now if i let him settle down i might be able oh gosh there he is baby yes sir that's the kind you need whoa there we go we can do it two pounds eight ounces there you go two and a half pounder it's a huge fish right now two and a half pounder baby let's freaking go boys and girls that man that's what i'm saying i know i know i catch on that plop the problem is those fish they have to either go up there and crush it like that one did they just come there slap it i've literally had six bites on it today scoreable bites i've caught three so it's not a little one right there oh itty bitty guadalajara need a three we need to we need to catch 30 pounds telling you 30 pounds the magic number i got some of that big sucker messing with them bluegill i think baby yes yeah there we go that's what i'm talking about i was about to run by that dock and i saw that bird sitting there oh come on sorry buddy got him in the tongue two pounds yes sir there we go i just saw that bird up there on that dock and i'm like um just gave me a little bit of a clue i'm like well i gotta i gotta make a couple casts the water stained up just a little bit right here had a little bit of wind and it was just for that muddy bank i don't think that fish got as good a look at it put a snake right there they'd not only a water monster maybe see him ah that's yeah he even needed to eat it was like a one four a one three it was just long we need another about a two and a half pounder so have a shot at it i think so it's not changed on the bobby the change of guy i'm telling you it's gonna happen we gotta get it done one big in man one bigging i already know my bite was better in the mornings his bike was better in the afternoons i knew i figured it was going to be a no matter who won it was going to be a dang battle i had to go back down the stretch that i had multiple bites down right now favorite part yeah i mean it's just the whole thing just sucks sometimes oh my god you guys this is crazy my heart's racing my heart's racing [Applause] oh my god i'm literally like i probably need to calm down [Music] since the thing i knew it i was like right there i knew i put i put less gas there so i get up there faster i didn't get enough i ran out of gas literally ran out of gas let's see if we can't catch one they're fine we're not far away yeah it's like literally welcome everyone to major league fishing the bass pro tour the man next to me can finally breathe today i also knew that my last period was my nemesis i could not generate that many bites but i knew those guys down the lake you know were catching them consistently all day long so town like i i knew i knew i had to go through my progression i knew i had to get to each place and really maximize my time i tried to mix my rotation up and i heard they were very pressured they knew sort of was up i had some knock knock my bait this morning and i'd hook up for a second to be good ones and just come off and they were just nipping at it reacting to it and so it got tougher as the day went on i literally could see them in the that last period i could see a couple fish and i could cash right in front of them they just look at it and just run away all right everybody make some noise for none other than the berkeley [Applause] [Music] no i've lost by an ounce which which stings really really bad you'd rather get blown out every day of the week than losing by a small margin you got it yourself oh my goodness can you get it out of yourself yeah he won't work yeah he was in dc's boat and he was in my boat when i caught the 50 thousand dollar bass yeah and he was in my boat today when i went yeah how do you do it man where did you get that little marshall hello marshall you ain't playing bro give me some hot give me thank you if y'all don't know little marshall little marshall has won 450 000 so far this year since we've got him so he's a very valuable teddy bear and uh anyway so that's the back story on it you can look more on the channel he's got teeth marks on all over him that's the best part there you go awesome as you can could run docks and catch them yeah but i didn't know what i catch and then that first the first place i rolled up to i caught like hey smash i caught three biggins and i lost two bacons and then i
