oh man this is hard it's like picking your kids you know your favorite kid how are you supposed to do that you can't nope not gonna answer that my goodness give me a second hello Vogue I'm Zendaya and I'm here at my Volga Talia cover shoot set and I'm taking a little break for some delicious Italian food honestly this all looks amazing chefs just surprised me with anything I'm also gonna be answering some questions as we do this what was my favorite subject in school hmm I think I was like into history I don't know it's just fascinating learning about where you've come from I think often you're not taught enough history in school or at least the right history in school a lot of that I learned from my family and for my parents who were also teachers so yeah favorite subject will go with history when are we going to see you direct the episode before you it's funny I was actually supposed to direct episode six but then I had to act in it I didn't have enough time so unfortunately I wasn't able to this time around I wanted to have enough time to do it the right way so next season probably thank you Rice Bowl oh yeah I'll take it absolutely all that what was the best decision in your life um I feel like my life is still pretty pretty young hopefully I still have some time to make some some good decisions yeah that's a big question I don't know you could switch lives with anyone for one day who would it be and why I wouldn't switch with anybody I know that's a corny thing to say but very grateful for my life yeah I wouldn't want to switch with anybody corny answer I'm sorry what are some words of wisdom for any aspiring actresses only do it if you love it and other than that when you get into this industry read all your contracts that's what I would say okay if you could have any superpower what would it be I would like the ability to teleport because I think it would make my job so much easier be in Rome like that boom be in my bed right tonight oh wow thank you [Music] give me a second how are you so confident hmm I don't know that I'm the most confident person in the world I think like anybody I have my own insecurities I have my own things that I'm working on I mean we're human and it's okay not to be so how am I so confident is that sometimes I'm not always and that's okay I'm just gonna put this I'm just gonna eat this whole bite what's my favorite outfit to wear oh man this is hard it's like picking your kids you know favorite kid how are you supposed to do that you can't some of my tops Tom Ford blush breastplate were my favorites Joan of Arc that was fun our yellow Valentino moment the Oscars everybody actually thought that law came with a with a leaf blower it was just the actual wind that for some reason was only there when I got there which made it very difficult to get shot you know what I mean but we worked it out so yeah I have a very long list of things what's your inspiration for life life I I don't know if that's a corny answer but life I mean although very difficult a lot of the time can also be a very beautiful thing and I try to be as present as possible so when I'm on set when I'm working even if I'm not needed on set I try to go there and learn as much as I can be a sponge and take it in because that's to me what is the most inspiring thing it's nice just having one more bite I mean so you know what I'm saying I'm trying to get get what I can I'm going I'm ready where do you see yourself in 10 years my goodness in 10 years hopefully happy my aim is to be doing things that make me happy and bring me joy so right now that's what I get to do currently which is I get to act and that brings me a lot of Joy thank you um and that brings me a lot of Joy if there was ever a time where that didn't bring me that satisfaction I would be glad to switch to something else and whatever that is I don't know hopefully directing you know but who actually knows you know [Music] I thought it was pesto but it's spinach nice [Music] you guys gotta teach me something because I do not know how to cook how about that although I learned a little dish the other day a little pasta dish and I really didn't have much in my fridge at all and we made pasta but we made it with like this avocado sauce and it was like super easy minimal ingredients and it was freaking delicious so I highly recommend that recipe thank you Google and it made me feel like I could cook it was so easy what was it like preparing to play Rue I've got to live with Roo for such a long time now sometimes I can turn her on and off which is kind of weird like you know she takes over and then I just kind of take a back seat we had a long time of preparation because we were supposed to shoot the second season almost two years before we ended up shooting it because of the pandemic so I had that long to kind of really think about it preparing for her is weird because I feel like I never really leave her you know she's always
