Catfish S7EP3: Kim & Matt Recap & Review

hey everyone so this is catfish season 7 episode 3 called Kim and Matt the catfish she is Kim McAfee sure is Matt so the initial email has a guy named Joseph riding in from second and so and he thinks his ex-girlfriend Kim is being catfished so he apparently he recently found out that she was talking to this a she she has been talking to this guy for five years for the past five years and which is dirty dirt part of the time that she was talking to him was of all day that they were dating and he explains like you know she's had it rough and all that and I'm thinking you know that doesn't mean you have the right start you know talking to you and dating someone else while you're supposedly in a monogamous relationship with someone so someone else but anyway so she hasn't met this guy it hasn't video-chatted him and doesn't even really know what he looks like Matt supposedly lives in Florida now but he used to live near them in Sacramento and he still had a minute so the reason why he wrote in for her is because she doesn't have the guts to ask me the max for help so to get him on scape and he explains that her mom passed and as a result she got and talked about the cops still is no excuse to do that it's to just up and cheat so anyone Hey like you can grieve me for however long you need to but don't don't [ __ ] cheat and then say oh my mom died like okay yeah that's sad but that's still no reason to [ __ ] cheat on somebody especially if they're supposed to be in a monogamous relationship so if you're in a polyamorous relationship there's something different obviously but come on now so anyway Joseph cost Kim to get her to meet them in person and so she agrees sleeve next and drive all the way from Sacramento all the way too sentimental from I think LA and we don't care a bit of a came in her house in such explains that she was fifteen when she met Matt so she's apparently twenty now she talks to him on the phone twice a week otherwise he just texts excuse me it's got an email um anyway um you find out mandatory truly from Florida but moods suck I'm nlts before it's now back in Florida Kim has taken a semester off for college to see if she wants to go to the school in order to meet with Matt so not all that need max then go to some local place some local business and start the investigation if I just phone number fine Kim has for the number she asked for Matt and they get his nails all cheated with it but it shows that it looks like as a landline so meaning that it's a texting app they look at Matt's Facebook and see a girl named crystal has supposed to do quite a bit on on his Facebook so baby talked to her and before she gets in contact of them they look at its URL name and search it such word on Google they find that he has a Twitter account for it before they hand all that they searched and that he posted a picture of himself in 2012 but he is like the picture that has him covered it has his face covered from like the nose down so it's like I can't really see his face so they go back to the Google page where they looking looking for its handle and they find that he has a plenty of fish account they then get a phone call from Crystal and the Astor if mat has ever talked about Kim crystal says she hasn't heard him mention her at the met in person years ago she also reveals that he has a girlfriend that he's on an ottoman with in florida and he was telling the truth about me to California then move back to Florida so she's like why don't you call his brother Nick because they live together so I actually get off the phone they call the number for Nick that she texts them and Nick explains he has never heard of him either and that as far as he knows Matt isn't in a relationship Matt then you know says that he doesn't own it but the both live at home with this mom with the mom and that the mom was child nurse which is why she was in Sacramento for a couple months nick is then says like you know it's weird that Matt doesn't know meet with Cam because it was a relationship with her he would do everything he could to meet up with her so the next day they go to Kim's house to tell her what they found after hearing some information to Don she takes stock of her stock outside and she a moment later she explains to me how like you know it's going better than she thought she thought it would and she's a little overwhelmed at the moment so but then after getting the first information she's wondering why he is hiding if he's supposed to be real so Kim's like who I want to meet him but the thing is I'm scared of heights and I'm scared of planes so they had to find some way of for them to meet so they say well we can bring him to you we just need to calm him first so he goes outside to call him and once he gets back on the phone he explains the situation and how Kim how Joan reached out on Kim's behalf and everything and then so while need is talking to to Matt inside Matt's just wondering why he had some pictures in the middle with her so back outside mad at least a flat to them and and all that so next thing you know we see Laura pop up on the [ __ ] screen and I'm like okay why is she in the episode like she there's no reason for her to be in the episode so why is she in the episode look he's not helping out and she and not she's not bringing anything new to the table so why is she in the episode I mean there was no reason for her to be so so it and what confuses me is like well if needs staying in the intro for this season that she was gonna help on some of the cases why is she in every single episode she's not bring anything to this particular episode I mean so why exactly is she and that was like I mean she's not I mean I'm not gonna season a bad person cuz obviously she knocks I don't know much about her to be any was but why is she an episode should not bring anything to them like any one sorry little rant there and it's the next day they go over to her house like Matt but when they get there Joe is there and so he explains the reason he's over there because Kim called him on it before panicked because there were some things that she didn't tell them so so Kim then comes out holding her and Joe's kid so that's what she hasn't told them Matt doesn't know that she has a kid because she said he doesn't like them or want them and I think this is when Joel finds out that Kim and that have have been talking about her moving down to Florida to go to college there and drove leaves with their daughter and then we find out Kim didn't really start showing in her pregnancy until she was almost due and one time when they were supposed to meet up while he was living there she went to labor and had to leave and had to leave him hanging basically so me then text Matt about meeting up at local park because they just he's full step and landing around that time and so on the way she's wondering how she will tell him that about her daughter but max brings up the fact that like he asked answer some things as well like why he's never sent any pictures of himself and why he's never seemed to make more of an effort to meet her while in Sacramento and so once at the park they find Matt's there and Kim it's like you have a girlfriend he says now why he's never seen any pictures and he's like I am not comfortable comfortable being in front of the camera and he says a lot careful and all that and then she drops the bomb that she has a kid and then he she she's like do you want to be her Godfather well my girl I stop like what what are you doing what the [ __ ] isn't really I don't get like this season really pissing me off right now like I mean I was pleasantly shocked about the fact that she has a daughter she is so she is awkward as hell and so I was not expecting her to say that she has a daughter but girl why the [ __ ] you asking him to be her Godfather two seconds after telling him that she you have a kid and at this point this shit's starting to get on my nerves and I'm like what the [ __ ] you do in this season's has really been weird and I'm just like what the [ __ ] you doing look at these people if it's not the Wardrobe it's the way they're acting or the way they're talking or something is just it's not like it doesn't wanna know I'm not really and not really sympathizing with these cat people who are thinking their cats being catfished I'm not empathizing with them I'm not cuz it does annoy it's just like what what the [ __ ] like I mean I'm something effect watch it I'm not really Anthony look sympathize and empathize with these people and it's just like I don't know anyway so she she's like well the reason I didn't meet up with you is because of one time is because I went into labor and anyway so they we convene the next day pick up Matt bring her to our house she comes out with normal but then Joe picks her up a few minutes later they go to a local place where they have they saw ice cream but that she talked about where they should go from there and he's like well the best thing for me something even relationship right now and but he will help her with Norma if she wants three months later she's taking on classes become a surgeon she talks with Matt once in a while she has moved on with her love life the guy she had peace with decided not to date and matt has that device being a godfather to normal and Kim plans on vitami him soon that's basically the episode of nutshell next week guy I don't know who the guy's name is who thinks he's being catfished but he's talking to this woman named Sierra and apparently during the investigation part of it she they found out that she has two profiles so it's just like that art alyas episode that first episode where he had where they were there were two profiles and I'm not really gonna make any predictions for that so for next week I'm just gonna leave it as it is but like I said this season so far has been really weird they're talking about double the reveal CC good simple everything and I'm like it really hasn't been like that it really hasn't been doubled everything it's really just been kind of like really this is what you have to offer kind of what the [ __ ] does this boy is really just not diet I mean I'm still gonna watch and still probably to make some videos on it but I mean at this point it's just it's it's not that it's I mean they can't say that it's double everything when it's not really that shocking it's just really kind of annoying I don't know that but that's just me so I will see you guys next week for catfish
