Catching a Spillway MONSTER in the Most EPIC Way Possible!!!

I just found a fishing pole oh my gosh is that a fish oh my gosh you guys we have to land this fish we have to land this fish what's going on everybody Nick from 68 fishing here and welcome back to another fishing Adventure in today's episode we are heading to one of the more epic spillways in my area this is a spot where I have caught some of my absolute favorite catches and in this episode we are going to be putting an interesting bait to the test hopefully we'll be able to catch some fish only time time would tell them cuz I know I prove them wrong I was made to be a legend for the kingdom for the throne we have finally made it to the spillway and it is looking as good as ever there is water flowing through it I cannot wait to get started and here is the bait that I am excited to hopefully catch a fish with out here today today not these nightcrawlers but these frozen crab legs now I have tried this in the past and I was surprised when I was not able to catch a fish with them so I will be revisiting this bait today and hopefully we'll be able to catch a fish let's go ahead and start by tossing out one of these crab legs I think I might actually leave a little bit of shell along with the meat and put a hook right through the shell so that way I've got a better chance of it actually staying on the hook all right let's go ahead and toss it out there from the day I Ste I knew I would he the call I was Destin for Glory rise above never [Music] fall oh my gosh you guys fish on big fish big fish big fish holy smokes you guys big fish living in the [Music] spillway oh what did we just hook into what in the world is [Music] that oh easy buddy oh my gosh it's a monster man this guy is a fighter oh there we go you guys we just caught a really nice big mouth buffalo on a curlytail grub what an awesome looking fish see you later buddy in hindsight I probably should have gotten a weight on that fish because that was definitely one of the biggest ones that I have caught I don't believe that was a personal best but definitely a very nice big mouth Buffalo but but I know there are some much much bigger monsters hiding out there I cannot wait to see what we hook into next I've had some movement on this crab leg I'm not going to reel it in quite yet I'm going to see if they actually pick it up something is definitely messing with it yeah I think something has it y dang I'm snagged well something definitely picked up that crab leg Unfortunately they almost immediately swam into a snap let's go ahead and toss out another chunk of crab meat oh my gosh oh my gosh you guys I thought I was snag oh holy smoke something giant just took my grub into the tunnel oh holy cow all right that cast went way up inside that Spillway tunnel let's see if anything's [Music] [Music] hiding there we go fish on Fish on Fish on [Music] oh all right you guys I've got a fish on but there's also a drum being swept out of the spillway all right let's go ahead and keep this guy for bait and try to land whatever is on the Holy Smokes what are we hooked into there really is no telling what this could be I've been surprised more times than I can count by what I've caught at this Spillway in the past fast so I am really interested to see what's on the end of my line but this guy has other plans all right he's out of the spillway oh dang it well this is not the Beast I was trying to catch but I will take it we just caught a really nice silver carp we just went from having only a couple bait options to quite a few bait options we have the silver clarp we have this drum that got swept through the spillway that I was able to net we have the crab leg and we have nightcrawlers I've have yet to catch anything with this crab leg out here so let's go ahead toss the crab Lake inside the spillway and toss a different lure out into the main part there we go fish on Fish on oh my gosh something hit the lipless crankbait it swam directly into the spillway oh darn yet another silver carb no luck with the crab leg yet and we have just caught two silver carp in a row so we need to change something up I have a nice chunk of drum rigged up on this Carolina rig let's toss it out [Music] there there we go fish on what I cannot believe this this is the first Sunfish that I have caught from beneath this Spillway we have an absolute ton of bait so let's go ahead and let this guy go see you later buddy although this Spillway looks incredible it does not smell incredible there are a ton of fish that people have thrown up on the bank most of them are silver carp but there are also some native fish mixed in there as well including some gar and buffalo not only is it an unfortunate sight but it does not smell Pleasant [Music] whatsoever I was just walking along the bank of this Spillway and I just found a fishing pole it seems to be working let's see what we have rigged up okay we've got a decent little spinner bait rigged up it seems I'm not sure what's going on with this rig it's almost like a Carolina rig with a spinner at the end of it let's go let's go ahead and toss it out oh my gosh is that a fish holy C you guys oh we just looked into a nice fish with this fishing pole we just picked off the bank holy cow I hope these knots are good my this is crazy this is crazy this is crazy oh easy buddy easy buddy oh my Net's all the way up there what did we look into what is [Music] that no way oh my gosh you guys we have to land this fish we have to land this fish oh my gosh I was not expecting this you guys are not going to believe this holy cow I am in shock right now we just caught a really nice Buffalo with this fishing pole we just picked off the side of the bank I cannot believe this my personal best buffalo is just over 9 lb I don't think this is a new personal best but let's go ahead and get a weight of this fish because it is definitely a nice size Buffalo official weight of this fish is 6 and2 lb one of the biggest small mouth Buffalo that I've ever caught see you later buddy I am still in shock with what just happened I was tossing a lure over there for a very long time without a single bite I saw that rod on the edge of the spillway I really was just joking around and casted it out there and of course I hooked into and landed one of the biggest smallmouth Buffalo that I have ever caught that was crazy anyways I had a
