so you want to increase your damage and your casual player so am I welcome to the casual's guide to increasing damage where I'll try my best to give you a simple guide that covers most of the bases and hopefully helps you out to start off there are many factors that cause your damage to increase some of them are percent damage modifiers crit damage boss damage and ignore enemy defense a small explanation of them is that just plain damage modifiers gives you increased damage overall for crit damage increases your damage to the monster whenever you land a crit bosses have a lot of percent damage reduction and that can drastically lower your final damage to them so having ignore enemy defense can bypass it and allow you to do more damage and boss damage just increases the Damage Done to bosses there are six main ways to increase damage hyperstat link skills Legion potential Star Force and nodes the easiest one would be hyper stats the hyperstat tab unlocks at level 140 and you gain stat points every time you level so all you gotta do is level in the tab there are super useful stats like crit damage boss damage ignore enemy defense and just regular damage I would recommend putting points into damage first just to get the extra boost early on the rest can be placed based on what you need a bit later the next two work in parallel with each other and that would be link skills and Legion by raising other characters on your account you're able to use a shareable skill called link skills and at the same time their Legion effect will grow as well link skills are shareable once the character reaches level 70 and the skill level increases at level 120 and at 210 depending if it can reach level 3. there are link skills that do a bunch of different stuff to help in both mobbing and bossing a lot of them can help increase your damage like the demon Avenger Kana and Explorer thieves to name a few Legion acts in parallel with this because the higher the level your characters and the more you make the more you can place on the grid you unlock Legion when you complete fifth job on a character and have a cumulative 500 levels on your account the grid has many spots which can give you great stats like crit damage boss damage ignore enemy defense attack magic attack and even just stat itself all also the individual characters can give unique bonuses when placed on the grid super useful in getting rare stats are not easy to come by the wild Hunter's unique bonus can even give you a chance to increase damage when attacking the legion system affects every character on your account so every character can receive these bonuses the next two are the meso delves potential and Star Force potentials come from cubes that you pick up from just playing the game or purchase in the cash shop different cubes have different odds to rank up your potential and some cubes are needed to reset potentials at specific ranks the higher the rank the stronger the effects a legendary you can achieve Max lines at 12 align for stat and attack and Magic attack for gloves you can also get crit damage I'd recommend that you potential your weapon emblem and secondary first because they give the most useful stats to increase damage like attack magic attack percentage IED and boss damage every other item gives main stat which does not do as much to increase damage next is Star Force Star Force is a huge mesosync and will cost you some happiness star forces are system where he used mesos to have a chance increasing the stat of your equipment the higher the Star level the more stats being applied from his success but the cost also increases for each star past 15 stars is a chance of failing and dropping a star or the item might just blow up the odds are low but not zero also I would not recommend starring any tiring gear or any gear given by Magnus the cost is extremely high to Star Force and not worth it the base stats are good enough before you switch them out later on lastly are notes nodes are introduced at level 200 when you complete the fifth job advancement when opening note zones there's a chance to get boost nodes skill nodes and special nodes by fusing the same type of nodes you make the skill stronger but this is not applied to special modes boost nodes increase your current skills from your early job advancements and boost the damage of those skills when used either way you can significantly increase your skills damage by leveling up your notes special notes have unique effects that can be very good but they have a Time duration and will expire you can also temporarily boost damage using potions a very common one is the special potions that can be bought at monster bark or blessings of the guild from joining a guild that has it unlocked the legion shop also has an attack buff you can buy as well and that's the end of the guide hopefully this guide has helped you out and gave you some new information you might have not known I tried to keep this guide as simple as possible for any new or casual players so hopefully it was easy to follow along granted it's not that in depth but I think it's enough to get started so see you in the next video
