corner on YouTube Tony seminar here again back at the range down here in Miami Florida today it's gonna be a couple of drills concealed carry stuff having done that in a while and kanuk just came out with a brand new subcompact I would say it's equivalent to there to maybe like a Glock 26 okay double stack as you can see it's not a single stack right I shot about 40 or 50 rounds through it and this frickin thing shoots great you're gonna see today I'm gonna do some concealed carry drills with it and you're gonna see how good this frickin gun shoots okay now when it comes to durability I'm gonna try to put around four or five thousand rounds through it by the end of the canal let's say by in the year but hopefully by next year should be I'd put about four or five thousand rounds through it and definitely see what it's capable of doing mechanic by far has honestly exceeded my expectations when it comes to their pistol their elite combat model and their even their basic model it's a phenomenal gun you're talking about a twenty five hundred dollar gun you pretty much retail seven hundred hours that's what I get out of it you have all the perks of an addict trigger and this and that and all these extras and you're still paying you would pay probably for an ancient K you know and you're getting a stockade she came out of the factory so it I really really like a lot okay as you guys know I've been working with Kanak for a minute now trying to break the guns trying to ensure that they have superior quality of firearms and so far so good so today the subcompact hope you guys like to review comment let me know what you guys think I'm definitely gonna try to put at least four 500 round three today and we'll go from there see what how it ends up while holding to the chest alright guys so just a quick thing I wanted to mention if you're already a laconic like if you have the Kanak the basic model of a factory model or you have the elite combat edition which is the bigger version okay this magazine this is the magazine that comes in a li the TP 90 combat right that is not so contest full-size right this is the magazine that goes in the subcompact right you can see the only difference in two two magazines is this bottom piece right here they take this piece off put it so they are compatible okay this mag this mag or the longest version that mag so all three of them work as you could see so if you want the most part around which this one brings 18 you could just put this within there right that's the same exact thing looks just the same alright guys so you notice I'm not being overly fast when I'm coming from inside ok my shirt alright I don't usually carry all the time like this this is the holster that came with the firearm as you can see here so it's an outside the waistband holster designed to be your lower back so onto your side it's not designed for inside the waistband or appendix carry because of my stature sometimes it's little hard for me to reach back here quickly so what I do is when I come up take that extra second to make sure that I have the gun so you'll see me stop a split second then I'll come out a split second make sure that my shirt isn't caught ok it's not caught and then I'll go ahead and engage the split second um you doing things like that when you're methodical with your movement patterns you tend to have less mistakes ok if you try to rush things if I try to rush it and be very fast ok the shirt could get caught ronk and go off god knows what could happen to you especially when you're being quick now I try to be fast meaning I try to be fast but see as you can see right here the shirts caught even in the movements that I do the specific movements I do will have to make sure I have everything I need so when I'm turning it's coming out you got me definitely recommend that when you're doing any kind of concealed carry work especially if you're not used to the horse to your running it's the first time I ran this holster first time I ran this gun so I'm still getting used to it still figuring it out you know you try to be as methodical as possible try to do everything the same all the time I just wanted to make a quick clip for that alright guys so I want to talk about one of the drills that I'm doing today pretty much so I'm starting off on my back obviously it's the most comfortable position then go into setting position kneeling position is standing and then getting off the X you guys won't know why don't you teach tactics on social media if you want to trigger an actual attack it's it's stuff like that you would come to one of my courses and then I teach just because I believe there should be a vetting process so anybody doing tutorials and stuff like that and whatever that's up to them but I don't do that so the main drill is just being on your back starting off on your back ok clearing the holster on your back engaging from the sitting position kneeling position and then standing and getting off the X at the same exact time or moving and shooting not staying stagnant which most people do okay I know you see you guys see a lot of shooting up close and personal from the hip position and all that and the guys moving backwards okay there isn't any moving backwards I don't believe that you should be moving backwards during an engagement you should be either moving to your left to your right or 45 degree angles the closer you are the angle that you take the bigger the angle which means the person has to move more to his right to its left so you shouldn't be moving backwards but everybody teaches different things most people teach because they were taught by somebody else most of the stuff that I teach it's because I learned it on the street working my career and a lot of those things I learned that they didn't work in real life and moving back during any case be like that is it good so you'll always see me try to do some form of drill where I'm moving for you know to the left it to the right and hangers of some sort and it's mainly just keeping the head down of the individual who was either thinking of hurting you somehow someway lethally and then you're moving towards cover that would be the ideal thing so you live in our run as fast as you can towards coverage or you're going to engage while you're moving towards cover keeping the guy's head down right you don't ever want to get into a gunfight with a guy while he's behind covering you and you're moving out of the open exposed or the chances are that you are going to lose that gunfire look at the gun battle so just you know food for thought needs to think about but that's a pretty much the drill that we're doing today we're doing back and forth from one corner to the other just see the recoil management how much we cool the gun has and I think it's really really good as you can see my follow-up shots are all on point I'm shooting at about 10 to 15 yards I have a really shot out really far out but I'll probably gonna shoot out now 25 30 yards to see well right there now so hope you guys enjoyed so far alright guys so that pretty much concludes our training for the day I think I put around 400 to 500 rounds through the subcompact canik tp9 it didn't have a sail malfunction I didn't expect it to Kanaks another chemicals really good so I expect this to be really good it shoots really really good like I wouldn't say like when I first in the beginning of the video I compared it to like a 26 I would he compared to a 26 I would compare more to like a 19 so like a Glock 19 so I wouldn't say that it's a subcompact you know I would say it's more like a compact firearm than a subcompact I shot around shot around 50 yards or so 15 yards 25 yards different distances and I was accurate all of them the trigger is really really good comes with aftermarket sights you know higher sights so it also comes alright with a Harmar cut aftermarket sights front serrations pretty decent stippling and obviously for a light ok aftermarket light but I would definitely definitely compare it to like a 19 instead of so much like a 26 but it's I mean so far so good man I'm really impressed with it I like a lot and it shoots really really good and you're gonna see on the video how good of shoots and in regards to recoil management the follow-up shots it's gross it's great so I hope you guys enjoyed the video guys we have a lot coming up for the new year I'm about to I'm coming up on 100,000 subscribers so I'm really gonna start pushing YouTube a lot have a couple ventures coming up now a couple new things so hopefully you guys enjoyed I'm documenting a couple of new projects that aren't going through in my life so you will see all those videos coming very very soon so stay tuned subscribe comment let me know we think and onto the next one
