Canik tp9 elite sc…first 300 rounds fired/final thoughts and why I hate this gun!!! #canik

hey guys Josh here so I want to talk about this Canik tp9 Elite SC so I have I've had this for a couple months well probably about a month now took you to the range I put about 300 rounds through it and I have carried it for a while so I wanted to talk to y'all and tell y'all what I thought about it first off I will show you because you know the ammo notches you tell me the gun's loaded we are completely empty nothing in the chamber no magazines loaded no ammo over here at all okay um you know what before I get to this first of all I wanna talk about this holster that you get with the Canik um I guess I need to apologize to canick because I honestly said that I wouldn't carry this soldier that I thought it would be horrible but if I'm being completely honest The holster is extremely comfortable the way the belt clips are spread out far apart like it really sucks the gun into your body for a nice concealed carry I can't lie I am genuinely impressed with the holster it carries really well so I apologize Canik good job all right let's talk about the candy for a minute this is the tp9 elite SC um I will go ahead and talk about myself here for a minute so I wasn't going to run mechanic I had a lot of people tell me to get a candy get a candy try the candy and I was like man I'm not gonna do it I'm a Glock guy and that is what kept me from getting organic for so long as I was a hardcore Glock guy and I just refused to believe that the candy can make a gun as cheap as they do that could be comparable with the Glock [Music] I was wrong so after shooting this thing I'm gonna say especially for the price tag out of the box I don't believe you're going to find a better gun in the price range of the mechanic this one came in right under 500 I believe it was like 480. uh give or take like I said you got tax background stuff like that I believe it was like right around 500 and you do get a 12 round magazine and a 15 round magazine and a holster whether you carry the holster or not at least it comes with it um you also get a flush fit base plate for the 12 round bag if you don't want the pinky extension I personally like the pinky extension so I mean you get extra mac straps you get a whole thing of tools over here I mean for the money this thing is extremely impressive okay money aside if the gun cost a couple hundred dollars more would it be worth it my opinion I believe so out of the box this trigger is just absolutely phenomenal guys like I can't even lie this trigger is just completely so smooth it's so light so smooth out of the box I'm gonna say this is probably one of the best triggers that I've ever felt on a gun like I said just straight out no upgrades and that surprised me because all of my Glocks I've upgraded the triggers I've got two three four pound triggers in my Glocks spent several hundred dollars on triggers and I was extremely impressed with the trigger that candy put in this gun so we are going to talk about pros and cons Pros obviously got an amazing trigger I do love the sights it does have that blacked out rear sight that's serrated to keep the glare off of it with just a single dot front sight I personally love that setup if you don't like that setup it is Optics cut so I mean you can run optic on here that's a that's a good deal this one I just I only said it's got this one because I thought that pattern was cool I don't know how well y'all can see that but I just thought that pattern was super cool on there but uh other than that I mean it feels amazing in the hand and it shoots amazing so this gun doesn't shoot like a little gun with that being said it is a sub compact it's not the smallest subcompact on the market I mean I would have called it a compact I probably wouldn't have called it a sub compact but that's just me it's not the smallest gun on the market however it does carry like a small gun I know that doesn't really make a whole lot of sense but it carries like a small gun but honestly it shoots like a big gun I mean I like I said I'm extremely impressed with this guy like I don't know if I'm going to keep this gun um but if I don't it's not because I don't love it because I do absolutely love it it's just I've got a lot of other high-end guns but I mean this is an amazing gun um let's talk about cons I can't speak for this personally I've heard the customer support is not great with Canik like I said with that that's not coming from me that's just what I've heard from other people that have called candic had issues and called in um I have seen a bunch of YouTube videos people talking about their customer support not being great I can't speak on that because I haven't had a customer support I said I put 300 rounds through this gun uh the uh not the very first day I got it but the very first day I shot it didn't have a single issue not one single failure to feed failure to eject not one single issue at all it ran absolutely amazing I ran expensive ammo out of it expensive right I think that's a word but expensive or ammo out of it and I ran some super cheap ammo out of it and I mean the gun ate everything um but with that being said I have heard customer support isn't great um other than that um aftermarket support I'm not sure what's going to be out there for aftermarket support you know with Glocks that's one reason I am a Glock guys because there is a ridiculous amount of aftermarket support that being said this gun really doesn't need any support triggers amazing feels amazing shoots amazing sites are nice optic cut the the texturing on the gun itself all around is amazing so I I mean it doesn't really need any aftermarket support in my opinion it's nice just straight out of the box for the ladies and the the people out there that have less strength in their hands this gun is stiff to Rack back um and no I'm not saying ladies can't wreck this back my wife personally loves this gun she racks it back no problem but I will say that it does have a really stiff recoil spring so it does take some strength to wreck it back so you know if you have weaker hands or arthritis maybe or something maybe something you want to look into before you buy one you may want to check it out really good and make sure that you can actually rack the slide back to chamber around because like I said it is really stiff but guys when I bought this gun I didn't like this gun I didn't want to like this gun I said I wasn't gonna like this gun it was already made up in my mind so I want to find something that I don't like about this gun and I've tried and I have looked and I was like oh the load chamber indicator well that's not the loaded chamber indicator that's the striker pin indicator loaded chain indicators up here um like let's try texturing texturing is great they've even got your gas pedals or whatever you want to call it put your thumbs there um that's that's great too magazine release is ambidextrous we moved around to the other side and I am next to gonna move to the other side I guess slide releases ambidextrous take down pins I can't find a single thing about this gun that I don't like I wish I could because I looked I have wanted to find a reason not to like this gun I love it I mean just dollars do it so um stay tuned there will definitely be more canix and I mean even look at even look at these serrations right here on the front of this slide for your press checks the serration on the back these press check slides I mean it's so smooth it's so nice oh I love it that's I mean that's all there is to it I have nothing bad to say about this gun so with that being said if there's something about this gun that you don't like something about it that is broken on you an issue you had with the gun issue you have with customer support put it in the comments and give me a reason not to like this gun because I love this gun and I don't want to love this gun so I'm going to shoot over now to the range footage that I did I do have very first rounds out of this gun very first two mags that I put on there we shot about 300 rounds that day the gun uh uh worked perfectly no issues but enough me talking we're gonna get over there and we're gonna do some shoot before anybody says anything about me flagging somebody at the next range for one it is completely empty it for two there is nobody else down here today it is just me this is going to be the very first rounds out of the Canik tp9 Elite SC the very first rounds out of mechanic oh my God okay guys somebody needs to call Rob Dyrdek because candy is out here with the Ridiculousness because I absolutely love this thing this thing shoots amazing that's first 12 rounds at 25 feet so roughly around eight yards I'm gonna try to get over here to make sure you can get zoomed in to see that first first shots 25 feet with the Canik guys this thing shoots like a dream I don't have enough good things to say about it that was probably one of the best triggers straight out of the box that I've ever felt in my life we're gonna throw it back out 25 feet again and we're gonna load the other mag in I think the other that was the 12 round mag I believe this one is a 15 round mag it is 15 round magazine so we're going to throw this back out in 25 feet and we're gonna run it again guys like I said that and this is some cheap ammo that I'm using here I will be running a few different kinds today but oh my God guys all right we'll go to the Target right to the right of the one we were shooting oh my God guys okay okay I am a believer in mechanic no it may not be the smallest subcompact on the market but guys that's 15 rounds 15 rounds right there on only the second magazine yes I did have a couple stragglers but I mean they have 15 rounds for the or for the second magazine shooting guys that is 15 rounds out of a Sub-Compact nine millimeter pistol guys I am extremely extremely impressed with this thing um if you
