join us on this fantastic friday evening shabbat shalom to you all and uh thank you very much for tuning in tonight it is a great honor to have you here with us this evening and uh want to extend a big warm welcome to our church family our friends and family from all around hawke's bay around in new zealand especially those that are in auckland you're still in lockdown our heart goes out to you today so we're looking forward to the day you experience freedom again and so we're going to enjoy a bit more freedom as well hey great to have you join us this evening it's going to be a fantastic night yeah it is we're so glad that you're joining with us tonight we want to stir faith in you tonight want to believe um that right where you are in your home wherever that is in hawke's bay wherever that is in new zealand or maybe somewhere else in the world that um jesus christ are the same yesterday today and absolutely forever and he wants to come and renew your faith he wants to lift you up he wants to shift you tonight and help you to live in a higher plane absolutely and um you may be wondering tonight gosh who dressed pastor dave and kate well actually no we we came here by ourselves like this and so we didn't coordinate on purpose we didn't coordinate on purpose but hey looks fine and uh tate i was just just before we came live i've just been down in the auditorium praying for you all and uh really believing this is a great sense uh just just a great hour that we live in i've just been in the holy spirit speak to me i want to encourage you yeah and uh pastor mike is going to be preaching on sunday he's got an outstanding message and uh encourage you to tune into that um i also just felt the holy spirit to speak to me freshly this morning and just while i was praying for you and so i'll be bringing that out on the following sunday and uh so that's gonna be fantastic hey great to have you join us tonight and if you're just coming on live or you're watching later on thank you so much for taking the time okay yeah what a season we're living in amen and so i want to encourage you this uh tonight that uh whatever you're facing right now perhaps you are you're feeling quite um challenged you're feeling hard-pressed at the moment uh god led me to the scripture it's one i love in second corinthians 4 and it starts in verse 8 and it goes like this i'm reading from the passion translation and it says this though we experience every kind of pressure we are not crushed yeah and at times when we don't know what to do but quitting is not an option for you and i isn't that encouraging we are persecuted by others but god has not forsaken us we may be knocked down but we're not knocked out we continually share in the death of jesus in our own bodies so that the resurrection life of jesus will be revealed through our humanity we consider living to mean that we are cons constantly being handed over to death for jesus sake so that the life of jesus will be revealed through you and i and through humanity amen so we can be hard-pressed on every side but not crushed and we know that when we come under pressure but for you and i as believers in jesus christ that quitting is not an option for us i want to encourage you today with a quote i heard recently it says this that your breakthrough was on the other side of not quitting not quitting is not an option for you and i if you and i learn to stand and we hold firm to his promises his words then um on the other side of that is always a guaranteed breakthrough absolutely what actually one of the things i was just praying for uh just in the auditorium like i said just before the service i was praying for victory for people and um wherever you are needing victory today um i was i had it in my heart today and here's what i was here's what else i was praying that um that there'll be no false hope for people and one of the things the bible speaks about is um talking about false hope or or lack of hope makes the heart grow sick and one of the things i sense that many people would be believing for would be hope for your marriage or hope for um something that you're believing for i want to encourage you today for if whether it's for your marriage or whether it's a physical breakthrough you're believing for i was praying and interceding for you just before just and i said lord i don't want people to have false hope i want people to have an experience real victory in their lives real forward momentum inside of their lives so just so even before we come on live that's what i was praying for and so that's what i'm in agreement for you i believe people here today you're fighting for your marriage and uh i i'm standing with you kate and i are standing with you i'm leaving for you as there are some people here tonight i believe you're believing for a physical breakthrough you're believing for miracles you're thrown all on the line and you don't want your heart to be broken i want to encourage you today that's right we're standing with you in prayer believing for victory in your life uh but whether it's emotional health whether it's whether you're believing for a family member or whether believing for something to happen i was just praying for it and so that's what i'm praying that's what i'm believing for you i believe that there are marriages we're going to start to come closer together even there are some people watching your marriage have been has been distant for a while i'm believing for it to come even to a tighter sense of closeness and sense of purpose yeah so we're believing for that today in jesus name we are you know i believe that there's been assignments against people against their marriages against relationships and tonight we're believing that every assignment of the enemy would be broken today because of jesus christ because of what he did on the cross what he did on the cross still has power for you and i today not only that but colossians 2 15 says that not only did he die but he stripped the enemy of his power when he rose again he triumphed over them parading them absolutely i want to share with you a scripture uh just as i was praying i've been meditating on on a couple of verses here and i want to bring them out to you this evening i felt it quite pertinent for as i was reading it um just where we are in the nation right now and then joshua chapter six and verse one and two uh from the amplified version that says this now jericho uh was tightly closed because listen to this it says because of the people's fear interesting that now jericho was tightly closed and no one went in no one went out and it said because of the people's fear and now just as i was thinking about that i thought well how how uh how significant in our nation today that actually in many places in many cases uh like if you think about how many like our borders for example the amount of shirts or produce that can't come into the nation right now because of fear the bible says that that jericho was securely shut up because of people's fear that's right and one of the big things i believe in our nation again is um how how fear can creep into people's lives and uh i mean when i was just thinking just about before you can have like a fear of spiders or a fear of wasps or a fear of mice uh that cause you to to react and do sudden things but sometimes you can have uh in fact many of us can often have a fear and inward fear that doesn't necessarily have a strong outward reaction but actually actually what it does it causes us to close up it causes closes us to shut down our thinking to shut down making decisions to shut down um and basically to keep ourselves into a small world if you look at jericho when it was securely shut up all it did was just secured everyone into its fall or whatever wars it was and this is what's something that fear does and sometimes it does it without you even thinking about it when there's an atmosphere of fear when there's a spirit of fear that's operating it just kind of suddenly starts to people stop making decisions people start or people make decisions that are small or just within the confinements of where they feel safe and sometimes people they just their whole life starts to shrink yeah and i want to encourage you that the bible says hear this that now jericho was tightly closed because of people's fear let's not let fear get on our life let's not let fear stop out from thinking bigger dreaming bigger making bigger decisions many people have locked their homes down many people like the borders have logged in everyone wants to lock something down this is something that i just as i was reading this is something that i was i was reflecting upon interesting it says here that what what these people were in fear of was not a plague but the bible says here that it was they were fear of the sons of israel and uh and and i believe that there is going to be a day coming where the sons of god will be fully manifest again the bible says even in in the new testament there that all creation wakes eagerly anticipating for the sons of god to manifest now when we say sons it's not we're not talking about a biological thing we're talking about people whose hearts have been shaped by the word of god peoples heart whose hearts have come into an alignment with the with the kingdom of god and who's who's who have allowed the holy spirit to work and to shape their life and to mature them they're the type of sons so here's the bible says this the jericho is tightly closed up for the fear of the sons of israel and i want to encourage you today i believe that they will come again where god's people will not carry uh uh not that type of fear to uh terrorize people but a fear of reverence a a reverent type of fair ware where we walk in the manifest power of god we are able to bring things into heaven into the into the earth that will bring a new sense of fear and all into into the world the bible says that it was shut up because of the sphere of the sons of israel no one came in no one came out and i love what the lord said to joshua i love this so josh was looking at this and it's like it is shut up like fort knox ain't no one coming in no go and go no one going out and jesus said he said he said look see i have given jericho into your hand in other words say look in other words he was saying this look at what i've opened up for you well so on one sense he's he's looking at it with physical eyes and saying it's all shut up but what the lord is saying is see i've given into your hand in other words see the opportunity it is right in front of you now and here's a here and so this is the eyes of faith um and i want to encourage you today where people are starting to worry and be anxious about the future i want to encourage you let's get the spirit up this is a time to get the spirit of faith around our lives because i can assure you there will be a lot of opportunity there is a lot of opportunity in front of us right now even though the borders are shut even though people are living in fear that's a perfect opportunity for new things to be brought into the face of the earth that is a perfect opportunity to be able to step out the bible god said to joshua see see and it's important that we learn to see with our eyes of faith i talked about that the other day but uh i want to encourage you let's not see through the eyes of media let's not see through the eyes of public opinion let's not see through anything else but through the perspective of the holy spirit he sees all things he sees the past the present and the future and so i want to encourage us today let us eyes let our eyes be lifted and i encourage you today also that this is something that people do when when people get afraid they they start to close down they start to shut up their homes they they don't invite anyone in there and i know we've been in lockdown and things like that but here is an opportunity we aren't in lockdown anymore we're only measured about but it's a great opportunity in front of us to be able to enlarge our capacity to be able to enlarge our dr our homes to be able to enlarge our hearts to be able to enlarge our influence and one of the things i've been praying for just before was to enlarge large influence let this be let this be a season yeah where the absolute opposite is happening in other words we're where people are shutting down where people are fear about their future where people are let this be a different atmosphere around our life that actually we're looking at opportunities we're looking at opening up who can i invite into my home who can i share life with who's not in my cert what circles need to be broken so i can reach out invite somebody in see i've given jericho into your hand in 11 verse 7 and he's and you look at the language that god uses he said don't just suggest to the people just tell the people don't just suggest don't ask for consensus just tell them we're going forward and interesting the the way they moved forward was not random in ad hoc there was an order to it there was a there was there was a strong leadership around it and so it wasn't just random people doing anything following the things of the spirit whenever and how they felt and that wasn't like that at all it was an absolute ordered approach now it looked like for a certain degree that things weren't happening but i love it in verse 7 he said and joshua said to the people go forward march around the city and i love that like these two words go forward in a time where people are contracting in a time where people are maybe closing up joshua's saying go forward so here's what i want to encourage you tonight let's start to think forward let's start to act forward let's just start to move forward let's start to do things that bring us forward not hold us in a place of status quo or bring us backwards let's be people that in the face of a of an environment that looks securely shut up let us be different let us be people that says let's think forward let's look for the opportunities not just look for the opportunities but act on the decision act on the opportunity start to make decisions start to make the decision to open up your home to reach out to that person because i don't even know that person doesn't matter just make a decision to knock on their door anyway and say hey man i'm coming to your house we'll come into my house for dinner i have done that before there have been people that i have relationship with now that actually i had to go and knock in the door and i felt the nervous i didn't feel it's trouble getting the words out of my mouth i didn't even know what to say but i still kept doing it and i still kept doing it yeah and this is something that this is how you move forward but you think well what's up what they don't like my house who cares don't worry about it just invite them into your home anyway so i encourage you today he said to the people move forward my instruction and my not even a suggestion to you today i'm not i'm not asking for your permission i'm saying let's be people that think forward move forward me and be forward and do just yeah that's fantastic you know along with that if you weren't online on wednesday night we all know now that we're in level two and you may be wondering what's happening with us as a church and how we're going to run things from here well uh what as you know one of our cultural pillars is the spirit to include so for us just choosing 50 people to to and the first ones in to turn up at the service just so small isn't in our it's just too small and it's too restrictive for us yeah so here's what we're gonna do that's right that's right so here's what we're gonna do is that we're gonna take church out into your homes we're going to lift our eyes we're going to move forward we're going to get bigger in ourselves so we're going to um become or continue to grow as an acts chapter 2 church where they met from house to house so here's what we're going to do we're going to continue to do church online so our midweek activities all our connect groups our worship team our creative nights our prayer they're all resuming so we can meet inside we can meet in groups of 50 so we we're fine to do all of those all our midweek activities for the church are back on from this week which is really really exciting our sundays here's what we're asking is that you would consider opening your home maybe to one person maybe to two people maybe to a family and share church with them on a sunday morning that you join it's important that you and i join together we're stronger when we're together amen so as we as we are even though we're distanced that you and i would stay holy connected as a church that our vision and our our focus over level two would be building stronger relationships so we would become a stronger ascend global church family so we want to ask you would you open your home if you're a leader in our church we're asking you don't go to somebody else's home you open your own home that's not moving forward that's right that's maintaining it's going in a circle so if you're a leader as as part of a sim global church we want you to open we're asking you to open up your homes it might be to one person like i said it doesn't have to be to 20 30 40 or 50 unless you want to do that you're welcome to do that too but just to one invite one family in invite one person in invite two people in and enjoy church together and grow together connect together amen absolutely and i encourage you like these are this is the growth point this is where leaders of this is where basic leadership is formed by just getting outside of your comfort zone and if you are a leader if you you know if you're a soul group leader here's what i i would expect to see that you're not just gathering together in your own little huddle and and um and enjoying your own your own selves company i want to see you taking the opportunity to say how can we stretch out how can i stretch my capacity how can i step out of my box and i know you'll be reading your bible and got all this theology and stuff i can tell you what it means absolutely squat right now what you need to be doing is reaching out so if you've got a home and you've got the capacity to invite somebody into your home that's outside your circle of friends may i ask you may i instruct you to do it all right and i it's really important that we these times this is the time where we uh when we grow even the bible season in psalm and david said in psalm he said in my distress you have enlarged me in other words your capacity is never enlarged when you stay in your little wee group your capacity as a leader your capacity for influence is enlarged when you open up it when you open up your heart when you invite somebody in when you well you just have a go up praying for somebody i mean there'll be people but what what what do i say to somebody if they're coming to my just say hello cook them a meal do something nice with them and just ask if you can pray just share something just psalm 23 would be fine that's not the main issue the main issue is that we open up our heart and invite people in that's right and maybe tonight you're not a leader in the church we want to and you could show leadership but you we want to encourage you to if you've got it in your heart open up your home let us know so after tonight's broadcast we'll have our promotions back up on all our social media platforms to show you how you can um you can show interest you can um be a person that a host family or a host home so if you are a person that you're not sure where to connect in we'd also love to help you as well there's people been messaging them and if that's you we'd really love to do that our pastoral team would love to help you connect with you so that you can join somebody else's home and enjoy fellowship and enjoy church with them amen absolutely and even then just don't even just be don't be afraid to reach out don't be afraid that's right to just have a go and this is where you grow and uh we want to pray for people tonight we want to just have a time of prayer now we want to pray and believe that god will really move in your life at this moment and for those of you that are needing victory that for those of you that are needing a breakthrough whether you uh believing for children whether you're believing for your marriage with your beliefs right for clarity in the future i'm going to stand with you in agreement today we're going to stand with you in agreement and believe that the spirit of god would move in your situation that's right that spirit of faith would be stirred inside of you today that a great expectation we're enlarged and that your heart will not be broken yeah that faith will be that that hope will be fulfilled inside of your life so why don't you stand up on your feet wherever you are um just lift up your hands just whatever you need to do just don't just stare at the screen just it's just all right just just open up your heart and just let your heart become connected with the spirit of the lord right now i mean let's honor him let's give him praise thank you thank you jesus father we bless your name today father we come into your presence we worship your name father we come boldly in your presence today father we take our place before your throne today father we give you honor father we bless your holy and mighty name today in jesus name we will give you our highest understanding yes we live you above the challenges yes we'll if you're higher than the things we're believing for jesus we thank you that you are king of kings yes and there's no one yes lord father your presence come and touch every heart that's watching right now [Music] father let your presence come to flood their hearts father come and flood their homes tonight in jesus name lord i pray for those father even right now that are believing for i thank you that you are the god of breakthrough lord i thank you today father that breakthrough is in the atmosphere today father even though you see that the nation looks on the physical and constrained i thank you today lord that you see opportunity lord you see this is a moment a time for your glory and for your nature to be revealed so father today we come before your presence father we appeal to your heart father we appeal to your nature today father i thank you you are a good father that your spirit is alive in our midst today that there is no time there is no distance in the spirit today thank you so i stand today on behalf of your people i stand right now thank you it's a seed for your people right now i pray and believe for breakthrough right now father we lay a hole of that breakthrough today father i thank you today that victory is ours today in jesus name i speak victory right now over your marriage i speak victory right now over your financial situation i speak victory right now over your body and over your health today in jesus name i speak victory right now into your emotions and your dreams today in jesus name i pray right now in the name of jesus that the spirit of god would move powerfully in your situation that you would experience the closeness of his presence thank you jesus that you would experience the hosts of angels with you today in jesus name thank you jesus well you're feeling hard-pressed on every side father where assignments of the enemy have come against fear we have come against marriages where they've come against um people's employment and people's dreams so father tonight we uphold your word lord we decree that no weapon formed against us would prosper in every tongue that rises up against us in judgment will we continue this is the heritage of the servants of the lord his goddess righteousness of me yes father we decree the blood of jesus christ over every family father we decree your mercy that holds back the powers of darkness yes lord lord your mercy come on every person that's online hold back the powers of darkness yes and we decree a prospering and moving forward lord god for every family father tonight we lift up every parent lord and we pray for wisdom as you parent your children father we pray for was the anointing yes that brings wisdom in jesus name discernment god yes so that you would know how to speak into your children in jesus name thank you lord thank you thank you jesus father we just pray right now lord i speak for up just pray over andy right now i don't know if andy's watching i pray right now andy that the presence of the lord will touch you thank you jesus pray right now that the love of god will just come and flood your heart i pray right now though that you would experience a fresh healing inside of your life pray that you would experience a fresh sense of direction into your life today in jesus name thank you lord even as your life is in a bit of a balance right now i pray right now in the name of jesus that you've experienced the peace of god you'll experience the love of the father of your life today in jesus name yes needing a breakthrough in your physical body why don't you right now if that's you why don't you lay hands on that part of your body where you're believing for breakthrough and father tonight we thank you jesus your death on the cross was not in vain lord we thank you tonight that by you the word says that by your stripes jesus that we are healed so god we ask that you would release that healing anointing lord into everybody lord god we pray for blood to be cleansed we pray tonight for alignment of ligaments a lot of muscles in jesus christ's name yes we pray for ourselves to function perfectly and properly father we pray lord god father that you would bring lord god your divine desire into bodies tonight in jesus christ's name father i lift up pete tonight and i pray lord god full recovery in jesus christ's name lord let your healing anointing cover his shoulder cover his body in jesus christ's name father we thank you lord for your victory in jesus name thank you jesus i just sense this people even right now this is what i felt that um many of you have been carrying a grief over things that have lost or or pain uh i i want to prophesy over your life today i i see thank you i see you glad this the word i got was gladness of heart and i just see for many people fresh joy gonna start to come into your life it's almost like the shadow of yesterday is gonna start to move different different husband and wife and um you're going to come into a new season of joy and happiness thank you and uh there's going to be a there's gonna why this turmoil around you the bible says he prepares a place before me before me in the presence of my enemies so when these people are full of anxiety and worry about the future there's gonna be people here right now that you are gonna experience a fresh peace and a fresh joy the gladness of heart as you gather together just as in the simple things as you spend time with one another you are i see even a fresh love start to arise one for another so in the midst of chaos in the midst of um where we're going through right now i'm going to prophesy over your life that exactly the opposite will happen thank you jesus that you will experience a fresh love between you for his joy turn around lord a turn around that you'll just be that just laughter would just break out in your home again and where your home has been void of laughter when maybe we've been swearing at each other or things like that may joy fill your home today in jesus name thank you lord thank you jesus thank you lord father we bless lord every household that's been online with us tonight every household that's about to watch lord um later on father we bless tonight father we thank you lord that you are for us and not against us yes father tonight we choose to lift our vision higher higher than what's happening in the natural lord god we thank you today that you have seated us in the heavenly places father we bless your name tonight lord we release your blessing on each person in jesus christ's name may you enlarge may you enlarge to the left and to the right may you go forward and be blessed and prosper may your family prosper as well
