hey good evening everyone it is great to have you join us here on this friday evening and shabbat shalom to you all and thank you very much for taking the time to out of your very busy schedules to be with us today and i know it's just uh in hawkesbury it's a bit of a rainy evening evening this evening but hey we do want to extend a very very warm welcome to you and uh this is going to be a fantastic time together i believe that god's going to really want to move in our midst this evening plus the kate yeah thank you so much for joining us wherever you're tuning in from um post your comment where you're tuning in from whether it's hawke's bay or somewhere else around the nation or somewhere else in the world we are so glad that you're with us we know that the holy spirit wants to move tonight was to move in your life and in your household and in our neighborhoods in our nation and around the world absolutely hey if you're celebrating a birthday today we wish you a very happy birthday and i think it's uh nita gala does she got a birthday today she does happy birthday nita happy happy birthday if you're watching and again a great warm welcome to our friends and family church members church family watching from around hawke's bay around the country around the world welcome great to have you join us great to have you here and uh really we really want to bless you if you're an essential worker and you are working full-time and your your job has become way more stressful because um because of what you have to uh deal with at the moment at level four we bless you tonight and uh if you're working from home and uh and it's got all sorts of pressures and stress tonight we want to bless you as well and i i want to do a special shout out for every parent that is navigating learning online with your kids just huge grace and blessings to you as we just navigate this together it's not easy and uh and it just brings a whole lot of new challenges to us right hey just welcome to all uh we've got um uh who's a bill and glenda hey welcome great to have you join us tonight teddy uh megs phil uh tony phillips tony had a birthday during this week too so happy birthday to you and i hope you had a fantastic day who else we've got coming on we've got jan baker good to see you jen kia ora to the hillman whanau great to have you join us here today and bob tweedy great to have you on too bob all right let's get into it let's get into it and um hey lovely we're just going to go through a couple of squares i've got a couple of scriptures we felt the lord placed on our heart this evening and uh so we're just going to just open that up for you and just encourage you and uh then i'm going to pray first just a very special prayer blessing of you all at the end it's going to be fantastic we're also going to pray through some uh things happening in our nation right now and uh so here's a verse that i was just looking at today and um and you know we're in an age or in a time where there are many voices i mean there are there are times and and in our lives there are times in in the world where especially when there's an issue or when there's multiple issues and sometimes when those issues are very very polarizing uh you can see a hearing a number of different voices that arise and often those voices are contrary so even right now you have uh many voices in the world right now even the bible talks about i think in one corinthians 14 it says there are very very many languages and there are many voices in the world none of them that are insignificant so i don't know about you but i get to the point where it's kind of like there are a lot of people saying a lot of things about a lot of stuff and sometimes it gets to the point where so i don't know if you know the term white noise but it's kind of like there can just be a lot of sounds going on and it's very hard to distinguish one voice from the other voice and so in the in that kind of context here's a scripture that i'd love to bring out to you this evening and it is found in john chapter 10 and verse 27 and this is what jesus said he said the sheep that are my own another and so jesus is referring to his flock or his people and if you're a believer that's us and he said this the sheep that are my own that would he this or this hear my voice and listen to me they hear my voice and they listen to me he said i know them and they follow me and i give them eternal life and they and i love this it says and they will never ever by any means perish it's not there's no suggestion in here there's no if or if not or maybe he said this they will never ever by any means perish and no one will ever snatch them out of my hand my father who has given them to me is greater and mightier than all i love that my father who has given them to me is greater and mightier than all and that's all all people or circumstances or governments it doesn't it's just all my father is my nearer than them all and i and the father are one and and essence and nature so i want to encourage you this evening um if you've been watching stuff and listening to stuff and probably joining into i'm going to just assume uh joining into the broadcast from the government and there they deliver the news and things like that but there's a lot of voices and here's the most important voice that we've got to hear for every one of us we're going to hear the voice of our father we're going to learn to hear the voice of our shepherd today and sometimes what you got to do is try sometimes you've just got to get away from some of the other noises so here's one of the things that you can do start switching off some of the other noises start switching off the new start switching off some of the other stuff the bottom line is this our lives belong to the lord if you're a believer if you're part of the family of christ if you are part of his sheep if you're part of his family your belief belongs to him and nobody shall snatch us out of his hand nothing can snatch us out so it brings a great piece and here's so it's really important it says here my my sheep they hear my voice and listen and they listen to me and the difference between hearing and listening a lot of people hearing a lot of things but it's important when you hear the voice of the shepherd that the voice of the shepherd stands out and you can distinguish the voice of the shepherd between any other voices and so tonight i want to encourage you whatever media that you've been listening to i'm greatly grateful that you're joining us tonight but one of the most important things i want to be able to do for you tonight is to redirect you or to direct you back and to reach in your ears so you're listening first and foremost to the voice of our shepherd that is jesus christ and he is the one the bible says he they say ca he they listen to me and i know them and they follow me they follow me i know them and they follow me and uh it's interesting well i i love this that how how jesus knows us he he he knows us and and there's nothing in our life that cannot be hidden he knows all of us he knows all about what's going on in our lives he he understands our confusion and there's a little song about that and i don't think i'm going to sing that but he said the words of the song were this all my confusion he understood that's right and uh and here's the thing whatever's going on in our lives this evening let's make this evening a time where we can retune our hearts where we can retune our ears we can re-tune our eyes we can fix our eyes upon jesus we can fix our ears upon his voice we can fix our heart upon where he directs us and many people want to direct us down different paths but here is the most important path we can follow is that it's the path of jesus christ that we can follow him and we can listen to him yeah we can allow his voice and his words to come into our heart and jesus and even his disciples said this where else would we go because your words carry the voice the words of life that is eternal life so this evening i want to encourage you today maybe you need to switch some things off maybe you need to stop listening to some things and some people and focus your heart and turn your ears back towards jesus past the king that's right um you know we've been in lockdown now for about 10 days and just been talking to a few people over the last couple of days and people i've had um several people say i feel like i've had a bit of a wall bit of a wall today or a bit of a war yesterday just feeling a bit flat feeling a little bit discouraged or the just the reality of um walking out some of the pressures that are different uh coming around people's lives and so i want to encourage you with a scripture it's once many of you will know it's found in romans 8 28 and i'm reading from the amplified version i love this version it says this and we know with great confidence that god who is deeply concerned about us it's about you and is deeply concerned about you tonight causes all things to work together as a plan for good for those who love god to those who are called according to his plan and his purpose i want to encourage you with us tonight that the word says that he works everything with great confidence for good for those who love him that's you and i that's not just the good things in our lives that's not just some things that's everything that's even the bad things the stressful things the hard things the discouraging things when you and i stay aligned with him when we stay in his will when we tune out all those other things though all those other voices that pastor dave talked about when you and i do that then everything everything the discouraging things the stressful things the days when we feel like we've hit the wall he can turn everything around and use it for his good today if you're facing a struggle today if you're facing a fear today if you are not sure how the next week is going to look for you if you've got practical circumstances that are really distressing for you he says that when we walk with him he works everything every single thing he doesn't he doesn't um leave out one detail everything in your life he will work together for good for those who love him you know how you know one of the um a great statement i heard was this is that our breakthrough is on the other side of never giving up that's right never giving up not on ourselves but never giving up on jesus christ never giving up on his promises amen so we want to pray tonight there's a there's a few issues we want to pray into and we want to stand together you know there is something about unity we may not be physically in the same place but when you and i join our voices together when we join our spirits when we join our hearts and we agree together oh his incredible power is released into the atmosphere over your life over our lives over our nation over the nations of the world we carry him amen amen it's the amazing thing about that love and about that unity it's kind of like this and something i i'm just against i felt the lord's been speaking about about love is this that it's interesting that um you know even in a room together you we could all be in a room together but yet our hearts could be vastly apart you know two people can sit right next to each other but yet be up miles apart but yeah it's in the opposite can be true people can be miles apart but yet close together and so even tonight we're certainly physically apart but we are together and i feel you we feel you in our heart today we love you very very much and we miss you and so we want to pray together this evening and so why don't we just start to pray and um let's lift our hearts let's turn our hearts towards the lord this evening on this on on this on the sabbath why don't we turn our hearts towards the the lord this evening uh and uh let's pray today that his presence will come and flood our hearts let's also spend some time praying for this nation so wherever you are why don't you maybe just get up in your face or we're going to honor him yeah father we come into your presence thank you lord and father thank you for your goodness father we thank you lord for your presence we thank you today for your great love for us father we thank you today lord that we have been called by your neighbor we are part of your family father that nothing can separate us from your love nothing and no one can snatch us out from your hands today father i thank you today for your goodness father i thank you father we come into your presence today wonderful praise and thanksgiving to your wonderful neighbor lord i thank you today that your name is great and worthy of all praise today father we come as your family father we come as your body [Music] thank you for the gift of your love today oh god lord we give you praise we give you honor tonight thank you father god we honor you we all need your presence yes we honor your lord we thank you today that you lord over our lives yes that your lord over our household yes paul your lord over this nation lord we give you praise lord we worship you today we worship you today king [Music] no one compares father we gather together as your sons and your daughters today [Music] lord you set a table before [Music] [Music] all other [Music] of that's watching online is [Music] [Music] lord i thank their faces wonderful jesus i love this i want to just bring out the scripture for you this evening i love this very much and it says here um in verse in nehemiah verse 8 chapter 8 verse 10. it says for the joy of the lord is our strength the joy of the lord is our strength and again it says in galatians chapter 5 verse 22. i love this he said but the fruit of but the holy spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives i love this the holy spirit produces this kind of fruit in our life thank you loves joy yes joy peace patience kindness goodness amen faithfulness gentleness and self-control and i love this line at the end of this i love this line and here's the thing in the context of all these laws and things you can't do this you can't do that you can't do it you can't do this all these laws it says this the end here there is no law against these things no law against these things i'll say that one more time but the fruit of the the spirit the holy spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives love joy peace kindness patience goodness faithfulness gentleness and self-control and there is no law against these things there is no law that our government can pass they can suppress this the only one that can suppress this so let's make a decision today to let the holy spirit become alive in our hearts today holy spirit we welcome your presence today we turn our hearts we thank you for your presence in your spirit alive in us tonight lord i thank you thank you towards jesus [Music] thank you lord jesus why don't we just pray into a couple of areas too um let's pray for revival in our nation today and uh amen our nation needs revival and we need an hour there's a number of different expressions of revival but one of the first things that we can do is that the spirit of god is awaken in our heart and when there is revival that revival is really comes down to this i believe it's a it's a it's an acceleration of the expression or or or or an amplification of the expression of the holy spirit the fruit of the spirit the evidence the outworking of the holy spirit in our lives as individuals so let's pray tonight that every one of us today will have a fresh encounter with the outpouring of the holy spirit so father today we welcome your presence holy spirit we'll wait upon you today pray today lord that you would come and great power tonight free today father for our nation we pray for your family for your body signs and miracles today in jesus name lord pray today for an acceleration of weather has been withholding fathers i pray that today we speak and release a move for your spirit today in jesus name every hindrance that has come around people's hearts today let it be broken in the name of jesus let the rivers of the spirit flow out of our lives tonight let a river of revival move in our nation today in jesus name holy lord i pray for our friends our i pray for other churches that are associated and connected with us today but i pray today for the churches in this region i pray that today father for a great awakening i pray that tonight holy spirit you would come and like a mighty and suddenly like a mighty rushing wave praying today father that would be suddenly things like thank you jesus pray today in the name of jesus hearts will come alive spirits will come alive i pray that suddenly boldness would fill our lives i pray that today suddenly there'll be extraordinary manifestations of your spirit tonight in jesus name [Music] you know there's been a prophetic word come out of america just in the last couple of days concerning new zealand so we cry out today we come into agreement with this word that's been spoken out by cindy jacobs lord and we will we cry out today so we're reviving for the spirit of revival to come lord upon our nation we cry out for the saints the believers the sons and daughters to stand up to become awake and fully alike yes fully awake in jesus wake us up and you would pour out on this place yes you would pour out on our nation lord we cry out for souls god we pray out for salvation in jesus christ's name yes yeah we pray [Music] i pray that today that those seeds would germinate today i pray that today in the name of jesus that they said to the kingdom we come alive in people's hearts today in jesus name jesus lord we know that there are people in governance there are people in leadership they've had the seeds of the kingdom planted in them already they have the seed of the kingdom in them already i pray that today in the name of jesus amen and they'll be in a german nation where the sin has been buried i pray today lord that the outer shell would crack open today in the name of jesus lord that shall begin to stir inside of their hearts and desire for you would start to deserve to start to arise inside people's hearts today in jesus name thank you jesus thank you jesus god while we're praying for this we cry out for our young generation for our babies god for our children for our teenagers for our young adults god for every person under 30 lord god we call out that they would wake up we call out to you we decree today that you would wake up that you would come alive and the things of god would pull you into everything that you've been predestined for that you would be revival carriers that you would have encounters with the living god that even when you haven't asked for it that he would wake you up in the night show in the midnight hour that you would have encounters with jesus and you would be changed lord we pray for saul to paul encounters lord radical encounters lord god rather wake up our younger generation in jesus christ's name let them be revival carriers lord from this death in our young people boldness yes lord the righteousness are as bold as a lion we don't bring it over our young people yes pure and clean love us to pray into this um it's a bill before our nation right now and it's going to come up onto your screen but it's called the conversion therapy uh ban it is a bill one of the uh if if it's not up in your screen i'd love you to turn on your not right now but just afterwards go to free to live free to live dot nz now this is a bill that um many churches bob mccroskey's put together many churches across the nation are coming together and what we need you to do is we're going to just pray into this right now because it comes against the identity of our children but we also need to make some we need to put some skin in the game one of the things that we can do is we can every one of us not just as a church as a whole but every member of every church we come together and we submit we make a submission here we're not going to be silly or religious about it but we're going to make our points clear so i want to before we pray into it i want you to go to free to live dot nz free to live dot nz all the instructions are on there about how you can make a submission and i'd love for you to we're not going to just pray about it but we're going to put and get our carcasses into action and do something about it right here's something that you can do so far let's pray into it okay amen thank you jesus lord we today we lift up lord we petition you god lord with this bill that's before government right now yes father we cry out for your hand to move yes god we cry out lord god that you would move certainly lord we pray right now for your mercy yes on the situation yes lord that you would hold back the powers of darkness lord your mercy would be released in our nation lord and um concerning this bill okay lord let your mercy come and hold back the powers of darkness lord we pray for god that you would move in this bill lord god we pray lord god concerning our children lord god father we pray that you would intervene in jesus christ's name intervene on our behalf you've done it before god we know you can do it again lord we father we pray for a godly standard to be raised father your word says when the spirit of the lord comes lord god father when the enemy comes in like a flood then you god would raise up a standard against him god we're asking we're petitioning you today that you would raise up a standard lord against this bill in the name of jesus christ [Music] yes lord thank you father thank you jesus father we thank you for this great nation we thank you thank you jesus father many blessings and the many privileges that you've given to us your father with a grateful heart today we give you praise and we give you honor i love you just to where you are just right now just to lift your hands just lift your hands and let your heart focus we thank you for your presence leading and guiding our lives today lord that every one of us would hear your voice in this unique and personal way lord you know us lord that you would speak into every heart hear this amen lord that you of promises lord you bring to mind things that you've spoken to them in the past jesus lord i pray and say lord that you bring new ideas in this time in jesus name but i thank you you are a creative god father that you bring new things you're consistently bringing new things into the world i pray that today lord as it is in heaven father let it be on earth lord i pray that tonight love that our hearts and our ears will be inclined to the words and the in the um and what you've ordained in heaven i pray today in jesus name thank you lord lord we just uh today we want to bring again our families that have got families overseas families in australia families in south africa lord that right now are contending with coven father today we rebuke the devourer father we rebuke the devourer of every person lord god that is this infirmity in jesus christ's name we decree jesus lord that you died on the cross for every infirmity so we thank you today that covert is under the blood of jesus christ that covert cannot function it cannot flourish under the blood of jesus christ so we release the blood of jesus christ we release resurrection power over each one of these people and we command you to live we command your organs to come into divine alignment with the word of god and the lordship of jesus christ we decree healing we decree life and abundance in jesus christ's name thank you lord there's just one more thing i'd love us to pray for and that is um there's been some uh a dire situation just um the situation in afghanistan is has just in the last 24 hours has got really bad there was there's some bombs there's some terrorist um things going on now it's making it harder and harder for people to get out of uh afghanistan there's many many people still trapped in there um westerners as well as as well as afghanistan that are really under threat also our christian brothers and sisters who are in there who are building the church of christ over there so why don't we just just for one minute we're going to lift them up you and i we can think that our prayers have we're so far away from them but i'm telling you your prayers carry power so join with pastor dave and eyes we just lift them as a nation we want to come shoulder to shoulder with people across the earth today and petition our king oh jesus king of glory king of all kings king of king of righteousness the prince of peace lord we decree your presence yes lord over afghanistan lord over every person that is needing to get out of there now father make her way we ask that you would release angels angels lord god to come and make a way make a way of god for every person that needs to get out in jesus christ's name yes make a way of escape like you've done it before lord thank you jesus lord we lift up the lord the christians in that nation every woman every girl and we decree the blood of jesus christ over them yes give them strategies god release your angels around them lord jesus yes lord i thank you that you will be lifted up in this situation yes lord lord that the enemy will not have his way lord i thank you the enemy will be defeated and you will be glorified yes in jesus christ's name father we lift up the families that lost lost loved ones and the bomb blast father we pray your comfort we pray the spirit of peace around them in jesus name thank you lord amen i want to thank you very much for tuning in with us tonight i just want to pray a prayer blessing over to you before we leave to remind you of this and um it's one of my favorite prayers of blessing and it's found in genesis chapter 48 and it says this it's about jacob blessing uh joseph and his grandsons and then jacob blessed joseph and said the god before whom my fathers abraham and isaac walked in faithful obedience the god who has been my shepherd leading and caring me caring for me all of my life to this day the angel that is the lord himself who is redeemed me continually from all evil bless these boys and may my name live in on in them in the names of my fathers abraham isaac and may they grow into a great multitude in the midst of the earth and jacob blessed him that day saying by you israel will pronounce a blessing saying may god make you like ephraim at minister which means basically this may god cause you to prosper and every place of your life may you even though we exist even living in the egypt may god cause you to prosper and shabbat meaning is this today may you be restored to wholeness so on this today of of shabbat may you be restored to wholeness may your joy be restored to wholeness may your peace maybe your mind may your health may your family may those who dwell in your household be restored to wholeness today in the name of our father amen amen we want to thank you for joining with us tonight and so sunday morning 10 a.m we will have our online service and next week again monday wednesday friday we will be
