[Music] [Music] hey everyone welcome to a new video on our YouTube channel in this video we want to take a ferry from South Korea to Japan to be exct from the city of Busan to the city of Osaka it will take us about 19 hours and one night is included we're going to take a ferry from the company paner Cruise in this video we like to share all the information about booking how much it costs how the process is and if it's worth taking the ferry instead of taking an airplane to go to Japan or vice versa going from Japan to South Korea so let's talk about booking and prices paner Cru operates the fer three times a week in total the overnight ferry from Busan to Osaka takes 19 hours the departure is always at 300 p.m. and the arrival at Osaka is at 10:00 a.m. in the morning on the following day you can book a dorm room which is Affordable or a private room with a private restroom which is more expensive obviously we found it very difficult to book with the official Korean or Japanese websites because it was very hard to be translated in proper English so we just used a third party app called aery they also have a website and it's all in English and it was very easy to book via them just keep in mind that you have to book a few days in advance maybe one week will be enough because a have to send a booking request to paner Cruz first and get the confirmation and then it will be sent to you for the most recent prices you should definitely check out the websites we paid for a junior suite 143 per person or โ‚ฌ 286 per cabin there are also more affordable versions as I mentioned before you can have a bed in a dorm room and then you only pay 91 per person keep in mind that you have to pay a port fee at the Port of Busan of about โ‚ฌ0 or 29,000 w per person it will be paid at the port and you can pay either with credit card or cash you can also buy the tickets right at the ferry terminal but we weren't sure so we booked it in advance anyways we're about to invite the cruise we already have our boarding cards and we're super excited just to check out the inside and hopefully we won't get seasick um just let's go explore [Music] [Music] we just got the keys to our Junior sweet room we got two separate Keys plus one card uh let's go upstairs and check [Music] [Music] Welcome to our yeah junior suite here at the [Music] ferry 3:00 so in 20 minutes we will uh leave the port of Busan and uh we're probably going to go upstairs up deck and check it out [Music] m [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right some first impression here from our room our junior suite um the beds are pretty comfortable the room is big enough it's not tiny or something like that you have everything you want you get all the essential that you would expect from a Asian Hotel like toothbrush toothpaste uh house shoes uh yeah you have also your own bathroom uh so it's pretty great um you can actually book dinner and breakfast for only uh 21,1 which are around 15 right now so that is pretty affordable in our opinion so there are plenty things you can do in the ferry in your 19-hour ride here to uh Japan or to South Korea depending where you're going uh you can not only go upstair at the deck and see over the the beautiful Japanese sea and see all the islands you can also experience sauna for free so the sauna is separated for man and woman and you can go there for free so that's what I will do in a bit and then there's also koku bar you can do and um there's a convenience store a souvenir shop the prices are all pretty affordable and the the people here around working here pretty nice so the overall first impression here is pretty great I cannot wait to go to the SAA now and when I come back I will go to dinner see you soon we just finished our dinner it was really overall a great experience there were lots of food mostly Korean food a lot of different type of meat uh also some side dishes like Ki of course could not be missed and we had a chance actually also to see on a table with uh a group of Japanese and also some Korean guests as well and it was really really entertaining uh very very interesting conversations and we learned a lot of their cultures as well and regarding the buffet it's really recommended so you really have a lot of different options mostly not vegetarian uh but there are also different types of soup and uh drinks alcoholic alcoholic drinks are not included in the menu but you have some different type of juices also water for free but if you would like to purchase some alcoholic beverages for example Soo or beer you can do it for 50001 so it's pretty affordable as well so you can have a nice dinner and enjoy the rest of the cruise after the dinner there's not so much to do in our opinion well you could go to the deck and see the bypassing Japanese cities because by then you should reach Japan and that's pretty cool to see because there also some nice Bridges you passing by there's some kind of entertaining program after dinner there's some karoki singing and some entertaining for smaller kids you can have a drink um it's not super expensive but overall people go to bed very early because the breakfast is pretty early in the morning and you also arrive to Osaka pretty early in the morning and by then you have to pack all your stuff but that's totally fine because you picked this option to slow travel to Japan anyway so going to bed early is totally fine [Music] [Music] after watching the beautiful sunrise over Japan we went to breakfast it's very early like between 7 and 8:00 a.m. in the morning because at latest 10: you arrive in Osaka it's a buffet so you can eat whatever you want as much as you want it's very delicious in our opinion it's mostly Korean style but there are also some Western elements in the breakfast like toast and cereals and there are also vegetarian options so you will be fine after the breakfast you have about one more hour to relax pack your stuff and R around the cruise ship and then you will arrive to Osaka you will go down and you will have to check into Japan just like you would do in the airport I Havey thek thank you very much for
