good morning folks and welcome back to South Korea I'm here with Vidal how are you budal I'm doing wonderful okay we are by the International Cruise terminal here in Busan because we are hopping on that ship right there later tonight the panstar cruise and we're sailing to Osaka Japan which is super exciting I am making this video Simply as a service to other people and other Travelers I never really make videos like this anymore but this is going to be a tutorial to show you guys how you can actually sail from Busan to South or to uh Osaka from South Korea to Japan on a cruise ship like that one for about a 100 bucks a pop uh it's a little bit cheaper than actually taking a flight at the moment um and finding information for this journey was near impossible it was so difficult it took us a really long time and we ended up finding the answer through Reddit of all places so first of all if you want to make this journey I'll be showing you guys our entire experience explaining to you how we got our tickets explaining to you how we booked everything how we paid for everything and also showing you what the journey actually itself is like top of that I'll leave links in the description to all the things that you need the Skype credits where I made the phone calls to actually speak to the company the booking site everything you need I'll leave it down in the description below and if you have any questions you can leave them in the comments and I'll try to help you guys as much as we can so right now we're making it down to the ferryport terminal we're actually going to pay for our tickets we reserved our tickets around a month ago when we were I think in Sri Lanka we made a reservation for our tickets uh via email after having a phone call with them so now it's coming for the day that we need to pay pay and we they have a window between like 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 1:30 p.m. the day of the departure that you actually need to go to the ferry terminal and pay for the tickets so we're coming down to the ferry terminal right now we're going to pay for the tickets first then we have a few hours to kill before we actually board the ship so here it is this is the way it's uh pretty centrally located right next to the boan train station so if you're commuting to here very very easy to get to literally it's walking distance like a 10-minute walk from the Busan uh main train station we're just going to make it down here and pay for these tickets okay so hopefully this information is not outdated by the time I post this video but messaging J j22 panstar dokr Andor this other email which is the standard panstar email which we are actually communicating with them will allow you to actually make a booking request via email for the panstar cruise we've tried actually going through their portal on the web browser as of 2023 did not work 2024 I'm not sure because I haven't taken the cruise during this year as for emailing them and booking on the website itself on the website itself the portal for the booking did not work for us so we did all the communication via email itself we made a booking request and actually had to pay when we arrived which you'll see later in this video that is the simplest way I can explain to you guys how we actually booked our panar cruise all right so here is the Passenger Terminal here in Busan so we need to go to the third floor to the panar Cruise office and we actually need to pay for our tickets so we'll I'll show you guys a proper view of this place when we come back here later right now we're just trying to pay I'm probably not going to be filming much in their office maybe just showing you the way up but if you're doing the same way that we're doing it you're going to come through this building we'll try to find panar office on the third floor oh great they have a 7-Eleven here that's awesome that's really nice so let's try to go up to the third floor how do we get there and it says closed I wasn't expecting that okay well this is the this is the ferry port this is the ferry line that we're taking to Japan from Busan to Osaka I'm going to try to figure out why there's nobody here make sense of it so I can pay and uh we'll see what we can do cuz we only have till 1:30 to pay for the tickets here are the prices for everything you have round trip peak season oneway round trip in one I'll I'll show you guys all the prices there that's for your information anybody's interested in taking this Fair of panstar Osaka Cru fairy we did make a little bit of error in planning we thought for some reason the boat departs at 6 the ship departs at 6 and it doesn't it departs at 3: and we got here the uh the the the terminal is actually close for panar right now because they only open up at 1:30 like the checking of an airline so you can see there it says 15 so 3:00 p.m. that's to departing to Osaka you'll see in a second it'll change to English just waiting for it it's in Korean now and then it says 1:30 to 2:30 that's the bag drop off like the bag check in I guess they got to do like Security check for the luggage or whatever um I'm just going to show you guys the timable here there you go 3 p.m. Osaka panstar dream 1:30 to 2:30 on time so we've made a mistake we made a big mistake we basically have to rush back to where our bags are being held right now we're just holding our bags in a hotel and bring them back here now because it's checkin will open really soon so yeah just so you guys know checkin is only open between 1:30 to 2:30 on the day of you can't come here earlier and checkin but you can come here earlier and chill cuz it's a really nice fairy terminal probably the nicest fairy terminal I've ever been in my life all right so here is the ticket the ticket costs $30 a person um one way there it is the pan star dream to Osaka and then you get a dinner pass I'm assuming there's also a breakfast pass they might give that to you after dinner or something um but I think there's some sort of dinner buffet so that's it that's the tickets now we're just waiting for boarding time which boards at 2: p.m. in about half an hour I'm boarding in a bit of a delay I think the entire ship is waiting on us my friends got stuck in traffic they're coming right behind me but I'm getting rushed through they're not letting me wait beautiful view of Osaka or not Osaka Busan I'm already confused on where I am we've got 30 minutes till the boat leaves but you know when you're doing Maritime travel everything takes a little bit longer okay does this thing work please work of course it doesn't work that's nice I feel so bad I can see a man in a in a in nice Clos pacing at the end of this hallway presumably waiting for us that's our ship right there the pan star dream you can see it it's going to be taking us all the way to Japan to Osaka thank you so much come me there sorry thank you hello thank you go up okay thank you all right we made it just got to check in out with the reception get our keys for our room we did it put room number sir 515 515 [Music] [Applause] all right I'm the stickiest I've ever been in my entire life love it I love it all right here's the tour of our room we have four bunk beds $137 a pop I think ideally this would be a good trip to do with four people because you can cut down the cost of having your own private room all right folks after one week in South Korea we're officially setting sail right now we started moving already the boat is disembarking we literally got here 5 minutes 5 minutes before the boat set head out the Last Passenger on the ship so there's the pan Star cruise as you guys can see uh I highly recommend for those of you guys who want to see a really cool journey I did that's probably not available anymore considering the War I did this similar Journey on a ship that's just like this in 2017 from Russia from Vladivostok to dong in South Korea really really cool ship is exactly the same so I'm going to give you guys a little walk through probably a little bit later maybe closer to Sunset it's around 3:00 p.m. right now when we're disembarking you can see the uh the bow of the ship the front where the anchors and all that stuff are we're just backing up out of port right now and uh this is the deck that you can kind of go take a look at there's tons of amenities on this one there's a convenience store with an automated checkout and a cafe a restaurant a dinner service and breakfast service so I'm really excited to show you guys around here so you guys can get a look if you're interested in doing this journey yourself so unfortunately for us the ocean is extremely choppy and luckily the the swell is not too big the waves aren't massive or anything but it is very very choppy you can see all the little white caps yeah it's everywhere so uh it's going to make it for an interesting ride I'm hoping that it doesn't get worse there's I think I mentioned this in the video already there's a typhoon that's currently hitting the north of Taiwan uh and it's kind of moving towards Okinawa actually it's past Okinawa now and moving towards the direction of Japan and Korea so uh yeah hopefully this ride doesn't get any more intense than this this this is okay I'm hoping that it doesn't get any worse as we head deeper into the ocean you know we're going to be passing through so many different Islands the way to Japan that I'm I'm thinking I'm assuming that it won't be too bad this is a little look to you guys too of like the outside you have the little pan Star cruise sign the cafe and the back of the boat back of the ship try to see how much higher we can go looks like we have access to one more seating area up here there you go there you go folks that's your view from the pan Star cruise so coming down the main deck up here floor number four I think you can just make it to the secondary deck that really goes around the periphery of the entire ship I always recommend these types of ships too to people because I think I don't think this one takes cargo Maybe does but uh it's always different if you've ever been on a cruise in the western world it's always different experience like here you usually don't see like this unfinished sort of working area on a regular cruise ship so when you take this you are getting to a see what sort of local Sailors get to experience on their day-to-day life when they're sailing around the world and this is just one of those fairies that does that commute back and forth to Japan Japan Korea all the time you can see here we're right at the front you can see the captain's not quarters but the captain's uh you know where all the instruments are this is where they're navigating the ship from there it is right on the panar folks right on the pan star on the same level where the uh sort of outdoor walkway is they've built this beautiful wooden deck with a cafe I'll show you guys what it looks like on the inside it's actually one of the nicest little cafes I've ever seen on a ship like this we got this beautiful wooden deck enter here from the [Music] cafe [Music] really beautiful Cafe and then uh yeah you have access to that second secondary tertiary Deck with more seating areas few benches few port hole Windows like this I guess you wouldn't really classify this as a port hole right this would be more like a cylindrical Square beautiful views of the ocean and Busan as we're going past absolutely amazing view of Busan just gorgeous got all this little seating area and then I came right out of there this seems like a maybe a secondary kitchen you got just this giant chill out area it looks like maybe a agage is set up here later in the evening I'm going to show you guys all the weird that happens on this ship apparently there's a fireworks show I don't know if it's true or not or if it's seasonal but apparently there's a fireworks show a song and dance thing there's karaoke as there is usually in most Asian ships but yeah you can see that's where the passenger area ends and then you've got the uh Stern is it a Stern or the bow I can't remember I think the bow is the front the stern is the back I should know this by now I learned how to sail whatever it is the stern I believe it's the stern of the ship uh back here where all the anchors ropes uh the loading duck for cars and people is there and then again you get that view of the pan star logo the little smoker chimney is coming out leading you directly down to the engine room we're going to head back inside now so down this hallway you just have a bunch of Passenger rooms on the left and right it says standard a room eight people and then you have another main con Concourse area here some classic Japanese vending machines here selling drinks and then more of this main area and it seems like they're doing some sort of Celebration here for their uh 100th Voyage or something and also 2023 summer cruise we got a piano down here this other balloon show thing and then more rooms down here I'll show you guys a little tour of the convenience store probably later when I raid it cuz I will be buying things I came very unprepared for this journey cuz we were rushing definitely okay so this is just to show you guys me and Vidal are going a little more of exploration there's the lounge the paradise I haven't seen this one yet apparently they got like a theater this looks like an extra Lounge this one I just sat here I showed you guys that duty free shop we'll take a look at later a sushi bar I didn't see the sushi bar I'm curious to explore that and then a therapy house/ sauna that's somewhere down there so here's a little look at the convenience store on board you've got wide selection of drink one selection of vid doll one whole section of me you've got you could literally come here with no food at all I mean it's not cheap but that's fair enough 40001 is like about $3 for a whole thing of rice kanji you got all these chips beautiful view most beautiful convenience store I've ever been in it's very nice yeah it's a moving convenience store come on yeah let's talk about it got sweets here's the dream gift shop I guess that they this is like merchandise from panar you got postcards that's actually a really cute mug I like their logo a lot that's a really nice logo yes and they have a cute little bird here they've got a Model A whole model of the ship Busan weekend Cruise that's cool so that's located right next to the dutyfree shop look at that so cute there it is you got cigarettes all kinds of different drink kogy these little things not really sure what they are to be honest with you I think just little knick knacks like souvenirs from Japan or Korea vice versa lastly they have a little photo area here where you can put on a kimono and pretend like you're in a Japanese Temple or Korean Temple you want to do it no not necessarily okay here is the toilets I never really like filming in toilets so let's see hopefully there's nobody in seems like we're the only ones actually absolutely beautiful toilet facilities in here very clean smells nice smells okay smells like a bathroom smells like a public restroom smells like a clean bathroom they even have the special toilets that's amazing this is uh I think the nicest restroom I've ever seen on a ship I have to be honest it seems like it's really well taken care of and cleaned often no squat toilets which make me very happy that's the toilet situation the last amenity to show off is the spa there's a spa SL sauna thing see here on this floor we've got sauna sauna room woman and man this way and it also says that way on it that way okay let's go this way I can't film it but there's an onent in here and onent is a it's a bath house you get you strip down and you go in the bath house that's crazy I can't believe it uh obviously can't film that but that's amazing we got to tell Moshe mosha is going to be so happy I'm we're definitely I'm I'll be happy to go yeah my God a SAA in an a Cruz that's I wish I could film it maybe late at night if it's still open uh I can film it for you guys guys that's so cool so it seems as the restaurant has open looks like it is buffet style 6:30 p.m. they've opened up people are sitting down to eat you do have to pre-order this stuff before your your Journey Begins so it's not something you can like choose I think when you're here but let's see what the process is like let's see what the food is like no I saw her walking towards this way so is it it's completely buffet style huh yeah I told you it be bu nice and you got veg options that's good a lot of kimchi grab a plate and load up oh she got a soybean soup I've never seen anything like that some guy tried to direct me into doing it the right way cuz I just threw the noodles on my bowl yeah you were supposed to put it in the the little small bowl and then there's like this soup that you pour over has like pieces of and savory or sweet PL it's just soybean flavors like has this little like light sweetness to it it's about it I'm really happy because they had duck that ducks and it's really good they've got these beautiful pieces of duck here I wasn't expecting it Curry some qua eggs nice put all right absolutely delicious dinner I was not expecting duck on the menu that's very surprising for a cruise ship but I guess we are paying $130 for this journey and I think only I think 30 of that is the food oh this is a sushi bar that's a sushi bar yeah it's a sushi bar there you go dope we're going to try to come back here later and see I'm just not sure we have enough cash to pay for this there you go sushi bar toi okay evening time on the panstar cruise look at that Sunset baby so we are officially in the waters of Japan now as you can see there's some islands back there in the distance that's already Japan mainland Japan too I'll try to see which Islands they are exactly yeah so it looks like it's probably the prefecture of fukoka or kakuu that's probably where we are passing through here and you can already see it that's Japan my phone is already connected to the Japanese cell service so that's it we've already made it so quickly from uh Korea to Japan so the rest of our journey is going to be us just basically trailing these islands in Japan I'm sure that tomorrow morning The View will be gorgeous if we wake up before uh before we disembark but yeah it's it's a gorgeous view for the end of the night here absolutely gorgeous seeing those Japanese Islands fading awayi so as we're preparing to get to Japan I'm just going to explain to you guys a little bit about this this is T tumai which means cold so these are going to be cold drinks it's blue label and then atatat hot hot hot drinks and labeled by the red will all be R hot these all be cold thank you for the inside mtion we appreciate it all thank you so much is that apple juice oh that's we've had this one before when we were in Japan that's a really nice Ringo and strawberry strawberry this is B like that's the apple one so here one of the staff is putting on a little guitar solo so I think some sort of concert or show is going to start relatively soon I know it's part of the like entertainment package here there was some guy playing electric guitar and it looks like they're setting up some microphones I'm assuming because most of the crew is Filipino it's going to be something along the lines of karaoke or a live band doing cover song something like that but we'll wait and see what happens [Music] for [Music] [Applause] you [Music] something I to you [Music] bre [Music] [Applause] [Music] got something I want to say to [Music] you that uh that show was so much better than I expected it to be honestly guys I I'm happy I didn't film everything so it doesn't ruin it for people who are trying to go but that was phenomenal it was so good it was so especially the magic Act was one of the funniest quirkiest things I've seen it a very very long time and uh the musical performances by the Filipino crew was phenomenal really really good singing but uh that magic act at the end was so funny it was so good that alone was worth it for me for this trip it was so much fun to watch it was hilarious I I was dying of laughter and I think we're passing right now through a little passage between fukoka um and that other town in Japan that I was talking about earlier going go upstairs right now and show you guys a nice view yeah there you guys go got some Japanese cities here as we're passing by you can see the whole Skyline here go through here on the other side what a fun trip this pen Star cruise is uh really really good really excellent little trip yep there you guys go oh we got a bridge and a ferris wheel down there think we just missed that so I guess now we're basically sailing through the interior of Japan uh through the calm Waters of the interior of Japan and it's going to be a pretty relaxed night uh the sushi bar seems to have not opened so I can't really show you guys the sushi bar but I didn't want to show you you guys the menu of the pen Star Cafe seems like on the menu they have a mix up some Korean dishes and some Western dishes as well as some drinks but I think uh there's not really much to do for the rest of the night here is just to wind down relax we're probably going to hit the onen and take a shower in there and that's it by tomorrow morning we'll have some breakfast and and be in Osaka so fantastic so so far penar Crews really uh didn't know what to expect with this one and I'm enjoying every minute of it so far morning folks that I set up one note about this ship it's summertime it's August when I'm recording this it is so it's like a like 90° Fahrenheit outside uh maybe even more their AC that comes out of here was not working so we had to opt to give them we had to give them basically 5,000 W each to hold uh for these two fans they work but not ideal is it was really uncomfortable to to sleep here to be completely honest I mean I slept good cuz I was exhausted but if you have a hard time sleeping in places this might not be the journey for you during the summer cuz I just want to make that as a note everything else besides that is fantastic and luckily I've been traveling around the world last couple years so I've slept in very uncomfortable environment so this wasn't that bad but if you are not able to fall asleep in environments where you have to sleep with a fan I mean it was hot musty muggy not not really a comfortable place to sleep so we had one fan blasting from here and one flan blasting from here flan just woke up don't don't judge me it's 8:00 a.m. they made a call for breakfast we're going to go have some breakfast now all right so breakfast seems to be the same setup as dinner just got a little Buffet go on here oh nice kiwi got fruits and we got the hot stuffs some bread some tater tots which is really weird I don't know why they have tater tots middle of uh Japan some really fried salmon eggs a little bit of sauce and you can see our view as we're Sailing by probably pretty pretty close to Osaka at this point cuz we're supposed to be in Osaka at around 10:00 a.m. it's 88 now see a bunch of cities from the window we'll go up to the top a little bit later we finish eating show you the rest is 92 W so please the wow I feel like the announcement in Japanese was so much longer than in English all right so 9:25 so we got a little bit over an hour before we arrive it's 8:15 right now almost in Japan baby thought we'd uh go to the top here one more time before returning our room keys and getting ready to exit show you guys the view from the tippy top seems that it's been raining all night or something everything is super wet oh there we are look at Japan that's awesome what a view wow it's so windy what you folks what a you I don't know if you can hear me over all the wind but wow so that is the town of KOB on the periphery of Osaka and I'm assuming that this is Osaka already if I remember correctly when I stayed in Osaka a few years ago all those ports all those docks you can see I'm assuming that's part of Osaka or just view of Japan in the distance right now absolutely amazing that is fantastic there got this little platform too I didn't go on yesterday so actually the uh the first place we're heading to in Japan uh we're making it wasaka today and then we're going so that's that's Osaka right there in front of us all the way down here is the wakayama prefecture we're going to be heading right down there we're going to be doing a big drive all around wakayama we're going surfing actually some spots down there and uh going to some really cool temples and stuff I don't know how much of Japan I'm going to f to be honest with you you guys will see but uh if you guys are interested in my Series in Japan that's where we'll be getting all of this the wakama prefecture we're going to be going down here then cutting over there there is the uh Japanese Coast Guard I believe it's either that or the guy who comes in and steers the ship into Port I don't I don't remember who it is I haven't been on a boat on a ship in a long time I apologize in advance if I keep messing up the word ship and boat by the way I've always had an issue with that I really apologize I know it can be annoying uh here we are ohaka crazy to be back here 2018 is when I was last year long time ago a lot has changed since then mostly this YouTube channel dying but yeah I'm so freaking pped to be back in Japan this is one of my favorite countries of all time and I'm just beyond ecstatic so here it is we are pulling it out I'm assuming that they're going to want us to get our bags out of our rooms relatively soon so I don't know how much more of this process I'll f film probably just disembarking from the ship just getting off um but yeah I'm assuming we're going to be pulling into the port relatively soon so here we go guys Japan time to party so you can see people are already congregating here this is a bit of a rush milk rush to get out of the ship as we're pulling in right now you all right and there it is we've disembarked I'm assuming we're going to hop on a bus they're going to take us to the port to do our immigration okay guys so we we just went through security and immigration uh super nice it was great Japanese Hospitality very friendly people um and I wanted to ask you guys how how was your experience on the thing for you was your first time ever doing something like that on your birthday yeah and you do have kind of a fear of the ocean SL boats I do yeah uh and it wasn't really that bad um but just be prepare for like some rocking cuz there's there's some of it and it will get you a little nauseous but did you enjoy the experience overall yeah it was fun yeah had some decent food um it was pretty quick or at least it felt quick most of the time you're sleeping um and the people were really nice fantasist fantasist and you Madame Madame Madame hus uh it was nice it was chill I kind of figured what it was going to be like and it was what was exactly what it was um entertainment was not not what I was expecting at all it was hell of fun though uh Good Vibes and magician at the end amazing resist highlight to me was the magician it was it was phenomenal yeah I think that value for MoneyWise $140 way too expensive in my opinion I don't know if way too expensive but it's a flight for example from Busan to Osaka is like around 100 bucks so $140 you get two meals you get entertainment the only thing is I think for the price I'm really disappointed that one we didn't get towels and two the airon yeah the airon not working in the room was kind of unacceptable this is not cool uh you know penar didn't pay me anything to make this video I'm just doing it on my own fruition because I see that there was a need for information on how to book this place
