lord jesus i pray that you would stand by me during the tough times in my life when i am in the middle of a fiery furnace may you be in close proximity to me [Music] so long as i am in your presence there is no fire that can destroy me lord so long as i am in close proximity to you then i am protected i am set free from the chains that were intended to bind me to the flames father though shadrach romans 5 verse 3 to 5 not only that but we rejoice in our sufferings knowing that suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character and character produces hope and hope does not put us to shame because god's love has been poured into our hearts through the holy spirit who has been given to us though there will be times where i will feel distressed and pressure or experience troubling it is i do not be afraid jesus walking on water is an act of defiance it's him saying that the laws of nature apply to you as humans but they don't apply to me as god jesus walking on water is him saying physics are a boundary for you but the laws of physics don't apply to me gravity may limit you but gravity has no impact on me saints what i'm trying to tell you is that nothing is impossible for jesus nothing is incurable for jesus nothing is out of reach for jesus and i pray that this word would inspire you when you're in the middle of a tough situation it can be hard to see beyond the opportunities for him to demonstrate his love for you opportunities for him to demonstrate his might and power to you don't ever become disheartened because you're surrounded by water and what i mean by that is in matthew 14 when the disciples were in the boat they had nowhere to go they were essentially trapped if you got out the boat you're worried about drowning if you're in the boat you're still slightly worried about sinking or capsizing so the disciples were surrounded by water they were bound by water but here came jesus walking on the very thing that threatened the disciples the very thing that restrained and limited the disciples is what jesus used to demonstrate his superior power so don't be discouraged because you're surrounded by water don't be frightened because you're surrounded by water call out to jesus the one who walks on the water so even if you're battered by the waves of life you can call on jesus now let us pray [Music] lord jesus i praise and i worship you i praise you because you are unlimited in your power [Music] we may be bound by the laws of nature but you are not like man you are not bound or restricted or limited by the things that limit us lord glorified lord jesus you are great and awesome i pray that you would help me step out in faith and trust you always i can't always change my circumstances but i will decide to trust in you fully lord god who makes a way where there seems to be no way when we are surrounded by the enemy you are a god who delivers i thank you i praise you lord because when it looks as though the red sea of the unknown will overcome us we will call out your name the name that is above every name and that name is jesus christ and we will ask for your help to make a way where there seems to be no way we ask you lord to split the sea of uncertainty before us turn the unstable ground we're on into solid and steady ground lord speak the words peace be still in the storms that we face calm the seas in our lives lord we trust in you to be the solution we are trusting you to be the chain breaker to be the way out for whatever it is that comes against us be with us as we continue to fight and strive to walk by faith and not by sight give us the strength to always hold on to our mighty savior that is jesus christ for in him and him alone we can find deliverance you alone are our rock and refuge so we thing is as humans we want to know all of the details we want to know how god will make a way we want to know exactly how god will make a way where there seems to be no way we tend to be so focused on details now the bible in psalm chapter 34 verse 19 says many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord delivers him out of them all and we can read this verse we can recite this verse but once we are in the middle of an affliction we want to know exactly how god will deliver us at precisely what time will he come to my rescue as people we often want all of the answers however i would like to encourage you and tell you that god is sovereign meaning that he possesses supreme and ultimate power and because he possesses all authority all power and knowledge this means that our part is not to question the lord we are not to demand answers or feel as though we are on the same level with god so that he has to explain himself that's not the case our part as believers is to have faith and having faith means we believe that god means what he says and he says what he means if he says all things work together for my good then my part is not to ask how but it's to simply trust that god honors his word if the word of god tells me that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord delivers him out of them all then my part is to hold on by faith to this promise with the eyes of faith you can see the hand of god the goodness of god in every situation regardless of how painful [Music] through faith you begin to consider if you've been placed in this set of circumstances for a specific reason or for a specific purpose a purpose such as unlocking a stronger desire for prayer in your life a purpose such as awakening a hunger for righteousness and holiness like never before or perhaps the purpose of such a test is to expose the gifts and the calling that lays dormant inside of you too often because we're focusing on the negative we don't see the positive in a situation and we don't see what god is trying to do [Music] could it be that the reason for this difficulty you're facing is god wanting to reveal to you how real he is perhaps this is a test where god simply wants to demonstrate that he is jehovah jireh your provider or perhaps he wants to demonstrate his strength and kindness to you whatever the purpose of this trial you're in encourage you to do your part your part is to believe it's to hold on in faith and look to jesus now let us pray heavenly father i bow down before you and i acknowledge you to be the great i am you king jesus can still perform miracles on this earth today i pray that the holy spirit would teach us how to change our perspective help us to learn how to walk by faith and not by sight open our spiritual eyes and change the way that we see things remove the scales from our eyes and give us a renewed mind fill us with the holy spirit fill us with boldness and courage lord help us to be believers who stop asking when will things turn around for my good but instead may we be a people who wait faithfully on you lord may we be the type of believers who ask what you want me to learn in this storm and during tough situations help us to remember that although the afflictions of the righteous are many you are a god who delivers us out of them all so instead of speaking about the negative instead of focusing on the negative give us a mind that meditates on the good things that are promised in the bible give us a mind that holds on to your promises promises such as psalm 34 verse 17 which says when the righteous cry for help the lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles we praise you lord jesus because in this fight you are in our corner you are fighting the battle for us i declare your promise in exodus 14 14 which says the lord will fight for you and you have only to be silent lord jesus you are all powerful and we can safely declare that he who is in me is greater than he who is in the world our hearts do safely trust in you and as we call out the name of jesus christ to intervene we stand on your word in nahum chapter 1 verse 7 which says the lord is good a stronghold in the day of trouble he knows those who take refuge in him you are indeed a stronghold in the day of trouble and my prayer today in agreement with everyone listening is that your holy power would change and transform our carnal mindsets would you shift our perspective lord activate and unlock a higher level of faith in us lord jesus we give you all of the glory let this storm become a testimony and a demonstration of your saving grace lord we declare that as sons and daughters of the most high god we are overcomers in you lord jesus we are more than conquerors our physical eyes might not see it yet but i pray that you would activate our spiritual eyes our eyes of faith so that we can see your hand leading us protecting us and shielding us from evil [Music] father i know that there is power harm came to them and father just as the three hebrew boys had no power to protect themselves from the flames but yet they came out unscathed i pray that you would perform such a miracle in my life as well may there be no evidence that i have been in a fire because you have delivered me i pray that there will not be a sign or a trace of my struggle because whom the son sets free is free indeed your word says in ephesians 6 16 in all circumstances take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one and as i lift my faith lord jesus i pray that you would extinguish all the fiery darts that the enemy has sent my way deliver me from the darts intended to rob me of my joy deliver me from the darts intended to destroy my marriage or family deliver me from the darts intended to strip away my finances deliver me from the darts intended to destroy my peace in jesus name may you take all of these attacks that are meant for evil and turn them all into good i declare your word in psalm 91 which says because he holds fast to me in love i will deliver him i will protect him because he knows my name when he calls to me i will answer him i will be with him kingdom your word says in romans 5 verse 3 to 5 not only that but we rejoice in our sufferings knowing that suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character and character produces hope and pressure or experience troubling times i will hold on to you as my deliverer i will have faith that you will deliver me from the fire may you be honored and glorified thank you for listening to my prayer i bless your name lord jesus amen [Music] walking on water when i think of jesus christ walking on water i get excited because logically it doesn't make sense scientifically it doesn't make sense the bible says in matthew 14 verse 26 to 27 but when the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified and said it's a ghost and they cried out in fear but immediately jesus spoke to them saying take heart it is i do not be afraid jesus walking on water is an act of defiance it's him saying that the laws of nature apply to you as humans but they don't apply to me as god jesus walking on water is him saying physics are a boundary for you but the laws of physics don't apply to me gravity may limit you but gravity has no impact on me saints what i'm trying to tell you is that nothing is impossible for jesus nothing is incurable for jesus nothing is out of reach for jesus and i pray that this word would inspire you when you're in the middle of a tough situation it can be hard to see beyond the present but i want to encourage you to step out in faith reach out for the hand of jesus christ and he will deliver you when you find that there is darkness all around you and you find it difficult to smile you find it difficult to be happy reach out for the hand of the one who walks on water and he will save you and this message is for the ears of someone who really is going through difficult circumstances maybe you're in a dry season and you find yourself on unstable ground well saints where we're limited the lord is limitless where we see challenges the lord sees opportunities opportunities for him to demonstrate his love for you opportunities for him to demonstrate his might and power to you don't ever become disheartened because you're surrounded by water and what i mean by that is in matthew 14 when the disciples were in the boat they had nowhere to go they were essentially trapped if you got out the boat you're worried about drowning if you're in the boat you're still slightly worried about sinking or capsizing so the disciples were surrounded by water they were bound by water but here came jesus walking on the very thing that threatened the disciples the very thing that restrained and limited the disciples is what jesus used to demonstrate his superior power so don't be discouraged because you're surrounded by water don't be frightened because you're surrounded by water call out to jesus the one who walks on the water so even if you're battered by the waves of life you can call on jesus [Music] now let us pray lord jesus i praise and i worship you i praise you because you are unlimited in your power we may be bound by the laws of nature but you are not like man you are not bound or restricted or limited by the things that limit us lord your word says in psalms 147 verse 4 to 5 he determines the number of the stars he gives to all of them their names great is our lord and abundant in power his understanding is beyond measure be glorified lord jesus you are great and awesome i pray that you would help me step out in faith and trust you always i can't always change my circumstances but i will decide to trust in you fully lord jesus help me to fight and change my attitude and outlook on life so that i will always walk by faith and not by sight james chapter 1 verse 2 to 4 says count it all joy my brothers when you meet trials of various kinds for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness and let steadfastness have its full effect that you might be perfect and complete lacking in nothing this means that our part is not to question the lord we are not to demand answers or feel as though we are on the same level with god so that he has to explain himself that's not the case our part as believers is to have faith and having faith means we believe that god means what he says and he says what he means if he says all things work together for my good then my part is not to ask how but it's to simply trust that god honors his word if the word of god tells me that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord delivers him out of them all then my part is to hold on by faith to this promise with the eyes of faith you can see the hand of god the goodness of god in every situation regardless of how painful through faith you begin to consider if you've been placed in this set of circumstances for a specific reason or for a specific purpose a purpose such as unlocking a stronger desire for prayer in your life a purpose such as awakening a hunger for righteousness and holiness like never before or perhaps the purpose of such a test is to expose the gifts and the calling that lays dormant inside of you too often because we're focusing on the negative we don't see the positive in a situation and we don't see what god is trying to do could it be that the reason for this difficulty you're facing is god wanting to reveal to you how real he is perhaps this is a test where god simply wants to demonstrate that he is jehovah jireh your provider or perhaps he wants to demonstrate his strength and kindness to you whatever the purpose of this trial you're in i
