building a house in the sims but each room the time limit HALVES

today we're going to build a house in The Sims 4 but every room the time gets cut in half we don't have to do this though I already said the title we have to do it now you can say another one hey guys welcome today we're gonna be doing something fun even though it totally starts I never have to do that one of our videos I ended up flawless impression I have started us on a Big Lot hopefully we get a big time our first number is going to be what we roll for the outside and that's going to be anywhere between a minute and an hour an hour is kind of short for us too we take so much time on our build big money big big six [Music] I'm actually gonna switch us off this lot immediately we can't stay here this symbolizes my hopes and dreams way better now I'll set it on fire then it'll be more appropriate there's a trash can right there so hey I guess I'm adding 16 minutes on the clock this is horrible ready oh it's a race set oh no go I think I've got a plan oh my gosh thank God I think you say it like that but kind of I'm thinking that we go modern-ish well that's not our usual you want to do something outside of our comfort zone for a Time challenge maybe that's the problem with all of our builds is that uh we've been building them two nights we should just do something we hate because we'll just want to get through it really yeah that's it actually my game plan is if we build really boxy like this I can do like platform Roofing oh nice so we don't have to mess with a bunch of roof pieces I think we could maybe even do make a porch yeah right looking like something when do we decide layout uh like right kind of right away no if we're thinking living living a living dining we want at least this big for a bedroom that doesn't leave much space for a bathroom that's supposed to be the kitchen and the living uh I don't love it maybe we tack one on the back okay out just a bit oh and then we could just do a porch on the back too because we already did the porch on the front a nice place for trash That We're Not Gonna forget listen to me talking about trash already at the 14 minute Mark yeah this is gonna be easy first I'm gonna get this up on a foundation a little bit just to give it a little um I feel um to get a little bit more centered yeah I think the list we have in the back the better because I do not want to mess with landscaping or so I move that all the way back who needs backyard when you have this many porches now to make it not look so like a box yeah can we give it the um this I do not know what you're saying you know how they have the it looks like one eyes winking up on the top oh you're like a roof thing yeah yeah where they have like the windows for like the mid models oh sure sure I know kind of what you're talking about I think something yes yes sort of like this yes care the Winking eye that's exactly good maybe even give a more wrap around porch up at the front here oh nice we could maybe go all the way to the side that could be cool more porch the better in my opinion we're really going for it now not as tall as you wanted it that's more like a high like this another thing you wear like this yes squinting let's pick some windows yeah now we want the small ones up there right yeah I think just right at the top that kind of looks nice that looks really nice I think we do like glass front door glass windows around the door new Greenhouse kit stuff is kind of perfect for a build like this that's exactly it with two of the windows on either side too there are they where see this is what's gonna kill us yeah just going to the catalog what's the time check uh 10 minutes get out oh my gosh we have to go so much faster than we're going gotta move quickly metal roof metal roof metal roof great perfect great uh if you do a roof on top of a platform you actually can't flip it which is really dumb so you have to go into flooring and boom now you can flip it oh that looks so good I'm gonna try and and meld that in oh yeah yeah just make the little the little eyelid blend in to the eye face that can't be the right word which is the oh here we go oh my gosh I'm getting flustered oh perfect oh that looks so nice I think we need to call them column okay fence maybe easy columns are easy I don't know what column really to go with you're burning by choice honestly we should have maybe took it out some packs that's exactly what we should have done we should have turned off a bunch of packs before we got in here if we kind of trim this out with a little half wall what's our time so we're halfway we're halfway team we're halfway we're actually doing okay I'm glad you feel we're doing okay okay I think we definitely want to do like two different tones of something either like a wood in a stucco I love a stucco okay I'm not gonna pick the body one we're not picking the Batu ones no no no no no no no no no no I'm just gonna do the base game one okay that's really pretty you like the lighter color we definitely need something I think over on this left hand side for the bump out should we do like darker again we could I don't love that yeah it's looking very um black and black yeah so I feel like we need some color right you want to do a stone oh we could do brick do love bread what about something like that yes something like that that brick this works really well for the bump out too it feels like this is more like a little extension onto the house that they added from this piece yeah I think that's cool you know what I don't know what's important to prioritize but I am going to do the trim on the Apple oh stairs they need stairs oh stairs no that the trim was far more important than the stairs I'm glad that we did that first I guess I should decide what flooring oh yeah let's do the flooring for the decking uh Ray what do we got what do we got whatever we find first I actually always like this one I love this floor great yeah love it perfectly beautiful I can't believe you found that it's column I'm not into okay we could just go simple and just do black on this and then just have it match the trim we do another one over here oh yeah definitely right that feels much more sturdy one in the back two one in the back architecturally speaking I think that's much more sound what's our time 49 for 48 for 47 I can't stop looking at it no that's making me feel a lot better do something like kitchen okay living maybe a dining-ish area out here bedroom bathroom oh that's way better I thought we were gonna try to shove the dining in there I like the idea of the dining outside yeah so I'll just put a little aside exit we need way more windows on this we're thinking that this might be the living room maybe we add just some for fun over here yeah just to get some light in here and then we need some windows obviously in the bedroom we don't want a sad bedroom with some personality that's what I'm always looking for in a good window I think it screams personality I like the new growing together ones oh those look so good we might put some on this side too because if we're being honest we're gonna have very small amounts of time and I think that we should go ahead and go for uh things to cover the walls I know everyone's gonna get mad but I do want to add a window in the bathroom and a big one no not big I want one of the the uh the ones that are small from like spa day oh yeah yeah I know what you're talking about where do you want them besides the side to the side yep there perfect I love it is that everything you dreamed yes that's everything I wanted okay great I'm gonna add some trash cans maybe I'll light over them for fun yeah this one yes love that let's play that front too okay great right here to the side of this door okay great yeah that's perfect let's do like a little bit of planting in the last minute planting I think we should do lunch did you say in a minute okay I shouldn't have had debug on I'm now realizing that is already a huge mistake should I just like yes I think I'm gonna do something really simple uh-huh lovely one on this side yes that's beautiful 30 seconds okay I'll paper a paper okay we can pop the paper down we can pop a paper down right there uh just do two of those something like that do you have time for terrain paint do you want to throw a little bit of dirt down who are you demanding all the way in 19 seconds left okay mailbox that's great we love so much time okay that was traumatizing but I'm kind of happy literally this is the first time I'm seeing this house I feel like I just like blacked out yelling commands to rain babe it's so cute I do too like I'm sure there's like some little imperfections but I have put like a tree it's simple but that's kind of what we're going for this is the longest amount of time we're gonna have for any space I don't like that kitchen dining next I'm putting eight why minutes on the clock don't put that what I'm thinking about is eight minutes for this space means four for this space two for the space stop thinking stop thinking I'm going to set us in into kitchen that's not cheating this is planning I'm gonna press it all right I'm hovering I'm Ready set go counters okay okay counters great I'm just going with the first ones I see I think we will lean probably into the Black and White theme if I had a guest that looks beautiful okay great I'm trying to quickly pick would also be calm about it now we just do upper cabinets do we have ones with glass in them we've got either these or these guys okay I like the open shelf look because we don't have the time to do an open shelf but this can kind of just mimic that you want to do some open shelves yeah I want to do some of the shelves plenty of time oh two-tone I like it hey I'm about to do the same just because it'll save us some time flooring is outside so I think these match pretty well okay we can pop an island I said Center have time for a center what sinner it's relative and then this does not matter this does not matter you know what whatever the fact you remembered it honestly impressive wait I don't hate this what's our time at uh we have six minutes oh okay we're cruising let's get the outside done and then we can maybe worry about finessing yeah then we can add things because I want to try to add a plan what I have a secret rule that I want to add to plant to every room but that's nothing to worry about that right now what do we have for an outdoor table or a table I wanted to look mod still I think we should do glass goliaths uh kind of the middle one what do you think it's kind of like got an architecture I'm with you middle one yeah that was my first instinct too absolutely something cool something hip something that we can sit in something that is coming up like right now I'm doom scrolling I am doomed this is bad this is bad we just need a chair we need a chair yeah that barbecue barbecue barbecue quickly hold on I got a center right I got a center at the top of this video is just gonna be used to doing things whereas I'm like we've gotta go we just do it in the corner oh yeah we can pop it right there time I am just gonna duplicate and we can have stucco inside oh my gosh look how modern oh I love this oh I love this light I don't love the brass well the problem is I actually love the brass there you don't want to change it to Silver no you want to change all of this I just want to change all the pictures to Brass so that they match and I don't like the stainless steel anymore and I actually hate it and I actually now want everything to be the brass color or black I'm on it that looks beautiful that looks perfect okay I hate that one's bad we're not doing that one why do I have debug on do you want to do like a Smeg maybe oh yeah oh we've got two minutes of clutter two minutes we do a plant back here because these will technically operate as counters something on the back wall here oh yeah just add a little Dimension but we can do knives or we can do pants whatever I have on first sword swords sword swords who needs knives when you have swords oh that looks great right that's so good but you put a fire alarm in here for the heck of it uh yeah normally when we have hours of time we forget these but today wow they're so very very safe yeah exactly that's what everybody calls us they say Karen and Connie they're so safe on the table something important thing on the table this usually takes us a while I don't know why we're trying to do this quickly that beautiful wow okay 30 seconds left um great I hate this stove it's got silver 14. I do not hate this and time I am digging The Vibes in here I am too it's like minimalist clean it has to be because we have to do it very quickly yeah there's no reason we picked minimalism no the fact that there's anything out here really impressed by that and it's centered so this is gonna be the living room next every time that we finished one I'm like huh not so bad and then I realized that the next one we're gonna have to do half of that it's never getting better it only gets worse it's like we had dessert first and now we're just working our way to vegetables the bathroom is just pure brussels sprouts four minutes are you ready for this no me either it's gonna look so beautiful just think about how beautiful it could look that's not what I'm thinking about Ready set go door oh I like the dream home one me too that is not a great tone of wood with that cannot be worrying about wood tones right now well this Sims is the one that's making me worry about it if they would just make all the tones correct then we'd be fine what about that oh yeah that looks great I don't care what you say that's the one we're going with the couch normally I go desert that is a giant couch oh no did we make this too small do you like to think about that now we do a sectional which one um I like the one with more of the tufting okay done if you want to change out the pieces for sectionals it's really cool you can just click the little Cog icon on the side and you can get like corner pieces you can get long Shades pieces you can get pieces that have the arms how much do we have uh we got two thirty two three two thirty two thirty should not be worth doing five arms awesome TV um um I don't want to stress you out but as you're putting the TV down I think that's too big and I think we should go with a fireplace a fireplace yeah a TV with fireplace and you think the TV is too big fireplace a nice thin fireplace look you think that's too big no I don't perfect I'm just gonna scoop this back okay I want everything catching on fire TV TV cool yeah okay that's so high no that's fine let's get your plant in early let's go right right oh I want the one that has all the holidays are you serious this one this one yes now go and look in there there should be yeah uh do we have time to Tool mod it cannot with you perfect yeah that's better okay coffee table and the growing together coffee table it might be a bit tight I do not know if that works clutter there's a new kid it's called the book no kid um and I love the Clutter from it what's her time we've got 30 seconds exactly what I want maybe something like that oh my gosh yeah that looks beautiful yeah yeah okay yeah we have time to perfectly place it that's easy great we need a big painting right one of these we're gonna scale it up and then we're gonna take the other ones that are in that set and we're going to put two more here you have to make it even oh my gosh we can't worry about this well hated that would I have taken the time to maybe place that more securely onto the fireplace sure you know what's even it's definitely simpler than most of our stuff but I actually like it I do too even the colors and the paintings actually match over here and that was very last minute decision next up a four minute bedroom no two minutes two minutes I'm trying to give us more time next up uh two minute bedroom just remember a bed just remember a bed Ready set go okay I'll give her eye dropper we're gonna pull the same door let's pull the same floor let's pull the same walls okay bed quickly bed quickly let's just do the the industrial oh that's so cute uh yeah sure we have time to like swatches why not that looks beautiful okay let's do some side tables what about these These are really industrial okay sick okay um yep we totally have time to look at the swatches yeah again uh a dresser okay this one oh that was beautiful plants plants love that rug yeah a rug yeah do you want to pop a rug down what's our time we have a minute maybe this guy yep I love that should we stop looking it's watching okay beautiful some lamps maybe the new ones the new ones from the book kit okay okay those are beautiful okay something on the dresser seven seconds mirror oh love this plan is it curtains maybe can we get on we have like one second no okay okay no curtains that's fine and that is a two minute bedroom I feel like I'm losing time on my life eight out of time in each room there are so many things I probably would have added anything on top of the dress right just one more plant one more plant please but other than that though the bones are really good okay a minute bathroom bathroom in a minute if you sing it it doesn't make it better I know that I already want to spin part of the one minute fixing that window so it's not clipping into the wall I honestly don't know if this is doable all we have to do uh-huh is get a toilet paper a shower yep a sink a mirror some flooring a wallpaper and move that window I think that took me a minute to say I mean at least it's the smallest space it's not feeling any better are you ready uh-huh okay and go wait a minute thanks for this that look so much better okay okay um go to shower great perfect oh even got a combo in that's sick okay let's do a toilet uh first one you see that one looks perfect okay let's do a sink uh how about it I'm just letting it guide me wow she's even swatching okay uh-huh cool I hate that blue I can't stand it let's do a mirror uh something that's not giant oh giant uh here yep that'll be good pressing the nine key to put that up okay let's do uh let's just do same same wall same thing no we gotta do tile are you kidding okay go tile tile okay okay we don't have time to disagree um okay checkerboard checkerboard checkerboard that could not be the solar should I do that that one that one okay oh can we actually run a feature wall up the back behind my sink with the same tile you're stressing about so much let's go down down it's right there here okay okay like that yes love it plan plan six seconds two one they've already perfect oh we did that in toilet paper I would never disrespect The Authority like that don't get it twisted okay for a minute though this is pretty good I do feel like I'm dying a little inside but also I feel very very proud The Widow's face damn that was not the priority one of our priorities wow so I guess we just did that challenge and we got a plan in every room so the real challenge we won I actually really like it I actually like it too definitely some changes would be made would you do it again absolutely not never hope you guys like this you'll never see it again also don't think that we didn't see what you all did all 500 000 of
