Bruno Mars is like the musical equivalent of heroin. It's like all my favorite things about funk in one song, ridiculous.
This song is literally the Party Lovin', Big Pimpin' Uncle to Uptown Funk. This is legit the playas and pimp song for 2016/2017. This song is The Gap Band, Zapp and Rick James all in one with the Pop Chart appeal that Bruno brings. This song is gonna be the song, just go home guys. Bruno knocked it out the park once again with this one.
this is about to destroy the charts
This song is instantly addicting, the fact that this album is only 9 songs long makes me think that this'll be nothing but hit after hit, and that's literally all I could ask from Bruno.
it sounds expensive and luxe and fresh and energetic but there's not really any tangible part of the song to really latch on to, no? it just kind of keeps moving along without giving any single melody enough emphasis imo
I came for a song that was catchy as all hell.
I got a song that was catchy as all hell.
i love this. I know a lot of people are fans of the slow piano ballad Bruno but IMO those songs dont even come close to touching something as funky as this. That breakdown on the bridge was insane
The production steals the show
For everyone that says this sounds like Uptown Funk (when it really doesn't)...there's not another artist that could have done Uptown Funk. This is his style, and it's a natural progression of it. It's not far from most of Unorthodox Jukebox.
