i wouldn't even give this to my cat or dog this is terrible this is a really terrible dish i'm really sorry and it's nowhere near another goby i think it's a real staple uh vegetarian dish um i had a spoonful last night and it was absolutely delicious what i like about my elegance that the potatoes are firm you haven't got mashed potato with a kind of like a limp cauliflower floating around it's mouthwatering it's satisfying and it's appetizing because it smells really good i've been cooking for many many years and i think i'm excellent the other moms are really really lucky to try my aloo gobbi it will be a privilege for them i think they're going to be blown away with the flavour and i think they're going to absolutely love it i am brave enough now to try another indian mum's attempt at aloud let's do this [Music] it doesn't have a lot of sauce it's um it looks quite dry but it yeah i'm not sure i'm not sure i'm not quite sure yet it looks okay but it's pretty separated the ali gobi should be a bit more saucy i think what's in this allegory she's definitely used kalonji seeds and i can tell she's used quite a lot of turmeric because it's quite yellow but the potatoes are a nice size i can smell it and the smell it's okay i wouldn't say it's the perfect smell but i'm willing to give it a try hmm slightly chilly yeah wow it's hot hot it's slightly sour it's got a slight bitter taste to it it's burnt can you see it it's burnt you're supposed to cook jelly coffee in a pot not in a frying pan is there anything you like about it not really sweet i think it's got to be probably a three yikes the presentation is pretty good i'd give it about i'd say three not very good i'm really unhappy why this looks like what i was hoping i wouldn't find today kind of interesting because the coffee is smashed potato fine firm that's firm now this is where the problem is like what is this what is that i can't tell if it's a vegetable animal mineral i don't know what this is i feel really sad for this dish oh my god i think she's put the whole jar of salt in here [Music] guys this is really bad i don't even know the flavour i wouldn't even call it an indian dish toric it tastes like a boiled potato that's it i'm going to try the potatoes see if it's cooked well potatoes fine um i would advise this mom to use less salt [Music] never do this to a cauliflower i'd say i'd give it a three as well on par level with the other one do you want to give it a rating i'm sorry i have to give it half out of 10. 0.5 0.5 oh that's really bad it's too mashed up it looks nice i love the consistency of it again it's slightly a little bit too dry for me and this is what we are talking about you know like it's separate you can see like it separates it's not mashed potato because mine has sauce in and i added a little bit more water it's slightly more my cauliflower florets are not as separated they're slightly missed and mushed up with the potatoes but that's how i like it it looks like alagobi it looks like a traditional anagony i might be more excited by the look than the taste pleasantly surprised tastes better than it looks definitely i do like this it's really tasteless the potato slices just like the potato all the flavors on the outside very flavoursome nicely balanced flavors this is a very bland dish but it's a lot better than i expected i would eat this one again um i think i would rate this probably a seven out of ten if this had salt i would probably give it a really high mark but i i this is something i'd eat up a lightness not out of [Music] hi my name is henna and today i will be trying and rating other moms turka dao the secret to making a good dal adding that oil on top rather than cooking the oil and this dial took me almost two hours to make i didn't just boil it to death and then fry up some onions and garlic and throw it in a wish for the best no i stirred it and when i do serve it to those lucky indian mums i'm going to put fresh coriander on it my dal is going to be rated pretty high the tadka that i put on it is very flavoursome with garlic and red chilies and green chilies so i think they're going to be blown away with it i really think they're going to be shocked at how different it is i think my food will go down as different and maybe on the spicy side i i almost feel embarrassed that i will be showing them up but you know what can you do when you're a great cook i think it looks terrible unfortunately wow this is interesting dark it's very yellow i'm not really feeling the appearance it's very dry i quite i don't even want to test it the dial itself seems to be quite tough looking so it might be not cooked fully it makes me think do i really want to eat it reluctantly okay hey girls oh this is really bad as you can see it's quite stiff right so there should be a kind of runny texture to the doll and it disstell doesn't have it it's really really dry no i'm sorry i can't take another spoonful of that i wouldn't order it again look at it i mean just look at it i don't think i could finish this i mean would you i'd give it to you because she made the effort to cook it but this is not how you cook dal i give this doll 2 out of 10. sorry not very good wow yeah it looks like a standard you know homemade doll to me obviously the taste will tell but it's got a nice aroma actually it's got subtle aroma i'm liking this one i like the look of this one and i think i probably will enjoy eating this one i would say this is more as you can see it's more like um porridge this is what we need to see a proper dried red chili so i'm quite impressed with ingredients when you look at this star i feel like eating i'm looking forward to having here try out this stuff [Music] it's really spicy it's not too hot or anything we could do with a little bit more salt it's not salty or anything this doll is nice it's definitely you know above average well done mum this is one thing i would definitely order because it's a nice down i would give this a six out of ten for effort and potential on the whole this is how the doll should be i will give this because it was good yeah definitely seven you'd have to invite me to your house to taste it then i'll give you a 10. [Music] it looks very good and it and it smells amazing actually no it actually smells amazing and it looks very very good first impressions as you can see it's got a beautiful color i can see individual separate ingredients which i like i can see little heads of dal looks like garlic little bits of mustard seed some things i can't recognize but i'm sure would be delicious it smells very good i'm looking forward to trying this particular doll it probably looks better than mine whether it tastes better than mine i'm not sure i'm gonna have to see there is a problem there's a problem with salt it's very salty slightly i think the lemon is too much but otherwise it's very very nice if this had just the right amount of salt this would have been probably one of the best styles i've ever eaten shame it's lovely though really nice i don't want to go back in because i'm so salty it's unpleasant but what a shame it's a beautiful dish it could have been and overall the flavours are quite well balanced i think if they'd not put so much lemon in it would have been perfect if this had been seasoned properly i really think i would have given it a nine but because of the salt even now i'm getting unpleasant salt it's actually quite unpleasant i would give it a seven i think i would rate this as a seven [Music] to the other mums all i can say to you ladies practice makes perfect [Music] [Applause] [Music] you
