[Music] very good have you guys ever had korean food before no no never well this is an easy entry way into korean food today we're going to be trying korean snacks do you eat a lot of snacks too much okay first up a real korean classic shrimp flavored cracker geez that's crunchy guys another level oh they're nice it reminds me of prawn crackers yeah i'm a fan it's not like the prawn doesn't like completely take over taste okay i don't know i think it tastes a bit like the shell that you get on a prawn or like the brain bit who eats the shell i admit i am a bit lazy i sometimes just eat the shrimp wow okay the whole thing that's really weird like nice but i go and buy them by myself probably not okay well maybe instead of say what you need is gogu this one is sweet potato crackers sweet potato the worst time what i like sweet potatoes yeah it's nice but normal potatoes you might need to rip it from the top down hmm they all look a bit like spines it's quite nice why is it nice tell me this doesn't look like a spine [Music] i mean they make potato crisps you know with no potatoes why not sweet potatoes yeah well it is nice yeah oh you guys are liking that i'm doing that next up my favorite it's a lot less crunchy than i thought it was going to be couldn't they have gone with like either a crispy outside or soft outside they kind of like got stuck in between it's like bread that went a bit stale it's not for me man really oh this is not for me it's like yeah you know where's the texture where's the crunch you know the aftertaste is really nice there's kind of a metallic kind of i don't know what it is doesn't it say sort of petroly in a good way somehow oh yeah no i can talk you can tell they've been in plastic from crosstalk but would you buy those oh yeah yeah sure yeah that's a good story those are really nice yeah yeah i like these these are nice i've got the perfect crunch for you it's called yeah turtle chips wait so it's just four crisps on top of each other is that quad decked crisps supposed to look like a turtle shell oh sweet corn flavor that's interesting [Music] what is that wait for it what am i waiting for it tastes all right i did not expect it to taste exactly like sweet gob actually tastes a lot like sweet one it's got a pretty weird taste yeah the sweet corn if i was looking for a snack yeah then i wouldn't go for these okay but if i was hungry and looking for a snack then yeah if you're desperate yeah if you go for christmas and you like get salted then it's sweet so it's just it's weird it's uncomfortable yeah i don't know it's weird at first but it's more rich now this we actually had the opportunity to film with uh chris hemsworth at one point and this was his favorite snack this is like a chocolate yeah you said chocolate duck top choco pie chocolate pie exactly delicious yeah okay you like the sweetest snacks hey chris hemsoff i like it already i guess okay i know you're gonna watch this that looks very good [Applause] does this have coconut in is it cactus or something it's very interesting it's actually made from sticky rice sticky rice filling sticky rice i'm not feeling about that it's really weird but like really nice it's it's nice but this is wait this is sticky rice there's rice in this it's really good yeah it's really really good yeah what's the stuff in the middle is it just chocolate chocolate i mean it's very nice but [Music] sticky rice that's nice it was quite quite nice it has a nice texture two would be satisfying but any more than that would it start to feel sickly okay yeah yeah it's quite an intense flavor i'm so surprised this is sticky rice vita ulbek refers to its 500 milligrams of vitamin c this looks like sauce so something you put on something [Music] that's so nice what it's one of those things that you literally cannot describe it tastes like nice cowboy okay oh yeah thank you just tastes like medicine it's a health drink it's like it is like medicine then that's actually made out of rice is this the size that usually is yeah yeah like five [Music] another really classic korean snack since 1976 [Applause] whoa what a what the what's that what was that is this like a peanut butter flavored wafer or something this peanut butter isn't it's actually not peanut butter flavoured or doing what dan kong actually means squid peanuts squid okay that is not squid so it's got squid in it how's this so yeah because those sticky rice and now there's squid i don't understand what i scoot on our packet we didn't even see it you know we need to look at the instructions next time look at that it's grating itself onto the peanut what yeah i don't know if they should be promoting that it's light and airy and it's crispy but then you have the peanut inside next there's a peanut in there as well that's a nice combination yeah get to solid six out of ten from there okay all right all right i'll take it the next one is cuttlefish what is amazing this one's more squid like i love these things are really good that's pretty good these are so good i'll be taking them home the last thing we have is directly translated is whale food [Music] actually translates to whales whale whale this is this is not normal it's going so weird it's looking so weird let's do this properly what are you doing what are you doing wow you're pouring them out what are you doing i'm making it nice you can just yeah it's like a little crab yeah oh is it good yeah it's whale food but it's good yeah it seems kind of salty it's extremely different with the food we have here for sure is it like whale flavor i i hope not that's what i was thinking kids in korea eat this yeah i would never feed this to my child i quite like them though because they're small and they're just like easy to deal with like flavor yeah so favorites the home rumbles they were really nice i have to say this was my favorite this was amazing i'd have to see like the chocolate jelly type thing i might have to go with the old hemsworth choco pie i'll take that that's cool 100 the shrimp ones though the cuttlefish thing is where are you guys going for the seafood ones well guys that has been a little journey through korean snacks [Music] with the year 10 we try some korean pony jum snacks so what we're trying today is korean pioneer combination combines with simba max what happened it's all gone wrong here this is japan oh god that's good take a look it feels like christmas who was the fella that came up with this this is crazy doesn't like change me [Laughter] [Music] honestly any
