[Music] with a shot of praise on cigar today hallelujah come on let's hear your voices today hallelujah hallelujah cheese's [Music] praise God as you're making your way back to your seats turning a person that you're standing by and say I feel the presence of God praise God what a privilege and honor it is to be with you today and be a part of this legendary gathering I want to thank the United Pentecostal church youth ministries team for inviting me to contribute here today [Music] do give honor to some very instrumental men of God in my life and give honor to my bishop Mike Mitchell and also my pastor Anthony Cox these two men have made incredible impacts from my family and ministry my bishop introduced me to an apostolic life and my pastor Institute's me to my apostolic wife and I'm thankful here because of them thankful for my wife today my son Judah and our baby to come thank God for what he's done for our family praise God what a wonderful word of the Lord a move of the Spirit last night and I do feel strongly from the Holy Ghost to continue in that same spirit of repentance of sorts felt this word for a long time to be honest God spoke this word to me before I was asked to be a part of this meeting so I knew it was of God to do here and the creation account we know that God created heavens in the earth the earth was without form void darkness was upon the face of the deep and in the illustration we saw last night God spoke everything that we know of into existence it was upheld by the word of his power when God decided to make man Bible says he formed man from the dust of the ground man and woman male and female created he them two genders praise God [Applause] and the Bible says that God blessed them and said be fruitful multiply replenish the earth subdue it and have dominion praise God from the beginning of time it was God's intention for both man and woman to take spiritual dominion in the earth it was never his intention for anyone to approach this task alone there are people in this arena under the sound of my voice who are filled with purpose potential and promise and these people most are laying dormant comfortable in abundance completion in the status quo or what has always been done but I believe the hour has come upon the Church of the Living God to arise and shine awaken and unite because the kingdom of God was never to be established on earth by a lone ranger it takes a team it takes a group of committed individuals with a passion to accomplish the will of God no matter what the cost the Bible tells us where two or three are gathered and searching any situation that is the team that is the squad that God promises to join and today I'd like to take time to talk to the powerful potential that is in this room about your squad goals Psalm 133 gives us a very important scripture says behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity it's like a precious ointment upon the head ran down on the beard even Aaron's beard that went down to the skirts of his garments when God referred to unity through this psalmist God called unity good he called the coming together of brethren pleasing he said unity is like precious ointment and when the Bible refers to that term precious ointment it is a correlation to the oil that we call the anointing oil that is poured in approval of someone for kingdom tasks in the writing this song David compared this unity mentioned in verse 1 to this oil that consecrated the priesthood and this imagery was very appropriately the oil that was poured on Aaron's head yes the Bible says that it flowed down from his beard but if you can envision with me if someone is having oil poured upon their head it's not just reaching their face it is dripping down to begin to flow onto the shoulders and it begins to cover their garments and their vesture and it is very important to note that in the priestly garment there was an article of clothing called the breastplate all this rest plate there would be 12 gemstones that would represent the tribes of Israel every gemstone was different and separate and apart from the other but there was a name attached to those stones but together on this one article of clothing it began to cover the vital organs of the body praise God and so it is a picture of what God wanted to do with his people different colors different shapes and probably hewn from different locations but when they come together and the all begins to flower something powerful begins to happen and I want to tell you it's a portrait of what God imagined this church to be different colors different places and begins to flow you can be sure we are differentiated but we are integrated the oil flowing down doesn't just symbolize a vertical submission to Authority but when that flowing down of the oil reaches that rest place there is a lateral submission that begins to take place it's not just submission to our head hallelujah it's a submission one to another it symbolizes unity kingdom connectivity is vital to kingdom success an apostolic expansion of the modern day Church Genesis chapter 11 verse 1 gives us an account of something very monumental that happened in mankind's history Bible says the whole earth was of one language and of one speech and verse four Bible says they began to commune with themselves and say let us go build a city and the tower whose top may reach unto heaven and let us make us a name lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth now when you hear this scripture and his story growing up in Sunday school you would think that they were building something very high sort of like a spire but this tower they were building they weren't necessarily trying to reach the highest physical Heights but it is believed that the tower that they built was similar to a step-like tower or what is known as a cigarette it was first erected in this region and it was said that the top would reach unto heaven and this place became a center of worship in this city and there was a miniature temple at the top where people would convene to worship and when God saw that the people got ahold of a powerful human concept called unity he began to look at what they were doing it got God's attention and the Lord said Behold the people are one and they all speak the same thing and this is what they do when they stumble upon this revelation of unity now nothing we'll be restrained from this people who are one which they have imagined to do and God said let us go down and there confound their language that they may not understand one another's speech and so the Lord scattered them abroad dense from the face of the earth and the Bible says they left off building that city in Babel their greatest strength was unity in battle their greatest weakness became that division in Babel their greatest accomplishment was the name that they garnered to themselves their actions in unity gifted them and identity and name to be called by in Babel they believe that their unity would allow them to build a place of worship a gateway into heaven and in those days heaven was not just believed to be a destination but it was a dimension where spiritual activity took place one can almost say that the squad goals of Babel was to tap in to the spirit world or spiritual activity outside of God they had a desire for the supernatural because what they did the Lord confused the language of these people in order to form the plans of a unified body hear me today when God saw that the people were one and because of their unity success in the quest of building something great was inevitable the only way to stop them would be to pause miscommunication it was God's strategy to hope the intentions of an evil kingdom and today this strategy has been hijacked by our adversary and used against the modernist day church for any initiative of the kingdom of light the devil has taken a page out of God's playbook miscommunication misunderstandings are the number one resource of Hell to destroy earthly goals within the church today after the death the burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Bible says that Jesus walked on earth 40 days and when he had convened with the disciples and apostles and disciples that were there he told them and charged them to wait for the promise of the father wait in Jerusalem because there's something coming that's gonna help you in your quest to establish my kingdom and as they were waiting - they were tearing for the promise of the Father the Bible says that this hairy session morphed into a ten day they were all with one Accord in one place after the Ascension of Jesus Christ they stayed up in that upper room for about ten days waiting us for something God had promised hallelujah they started off strong but by the tenth day the crowd - wind 'old not everyone lasted in Terry but those that endured the wait experience and suddenly somebody say squad goes I would to God that some youth group would get together in this day to tarry and wait for something powerful in a prayer we don't just have to get together to have a lock-in to play around this world [Applause] everybody say squad those at Pentecost unity proceeded suddenly those that endure the wait to be endured with power soon after wreaked havoc on the kingdom of darkness and it was said of these people that they turn their world upside down they began to terrorize every force of darkness in their region hallelujah that Terry squad became a terror squad against the kingdom of darkness and anyone who knows how to wait on God will systematically dismantle the devices of the devil you've got to learn how to get to the presence of God and Terry there can I preach for a while that people in this generation need to learn how to tap into a waiting until something gets a hold of you not strip away something gets a hold of you [Applause] it's in those moments of waiting and tearing that you begin to realize activate the spiritual dipping operations in your if you desire anything deeper in the presence of God you've gotta learn with your hands right now let that word begin to speak in to your spirit hallelujah oh prayer it's not just something I'm check it off my daily to-do list it's something I'm tapping into God's intention for Pentecost was to spiritually resolve the issue of division in the earth if God could get man to align and speak the same things a unified body would be birthed here what Jesus said about unity he knew their thoughts in Matthew chapter 12 and said unto them every Kingdom divided against itself will be brought to desolation and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand if Satan cast out Satan he is divided against himself how then shall his kingdom stand so this principle and this concept that Jesus is communicating says that kingdoms divided is brought to desolation and I would like to propose thought for your consideration today if kingdoms divided are brought to desolation then kingdoms united I'll be brought to to me we've had enough of this fragmented we are doing in our cities hallelujah it's time to begin everybody say squad those there are three elements of unity that I'd like to highlight this afternoon we are united by our purpose fulfilling our call to establish the kingdom of God in this earth today I am so grateful and thankful for this body of believers United Pentecostal church and we have a mandate to preach the whole gospel to the whole world by the whole church can I tell you today that whole or complete gospel cannot and will not reach the whole world if the church is not whole doesn't matter your color your skin doesn't matter if you prefer different types of food there are here that probably prefer pita bread some of you prefer tortilla bread some of you prefer biscuits some of you prefer naan bread some of you prefer hard old bread whatever type of food you like hallelujah it doesn't matter your tastebuds or your cultural preferences there is one body there is one church even as you are told into one hope of your calling one Lord one faith one baptism one we are differentiated but we are integrated hallelujah and this whole church is going to bring this whole gospel we're going to reach Latino people we're gonna reach Asian people we're gonna reach her Native American we're gonna reach African we're gonna reach Indiana rural regions the South Pacific Rim or reach the whole church the whole world's gonna get this whole gospel when the church begins to come together they'll be the hands right now as you're standing grab somebody by the hand right now connect with somebody right now [Music] what God's going to do in the rest of this week will be legendary but I believe last night and this morning is very pivotal to what we will experience here we've got to be collective come on pray for that person whose hand you're holding right now commendable come on can you feel that rising in this atmosphere come on we're making a full circuit right now the power can flow properly when we are connected [Applause] oh if you can hear what I hear right now this sounds like a wave crashing right up I mean said and I'm gonna obey the Lord right now I've only shared this probably one or two places but years ago God gave me a dream and in this dream in the name of Jesus praised in this dream it was a hand the hand was withered hand was flaked out and white and I begin to think about this hand and as I in my dream I'm going to kind of check it out and immediately as I reach for the hand God says don't you dare touch that and I began to find something so I can probably kind of mess with it and pick at it and said don't you dare pick at that hand should try to investigate something was about to happen in my world and God was preparing me not to pick at someone else's plight about to combat alive from Hell right now you cannot cover up and justify your gossip through concern it's none of your business yes don't you touch it don't you pick at it you don't need in this get any God's got it under control [Applause] woke up out of this dream I knew it had to be something dealing with leprosy and called a man of God and trusted voice in my life and I'm beginning to explain to him what I had dreamed and began explained to me and draw my attention to leprosy in the Bible and did you know that the very first time the Bible ever references leprosy was when Miriam began to speak against her brother she didn't like who he was hooking up with said she's not the same ethnicity as us mm-hmm I felt that and I'm gonna stop it right there racism oh I better get a better response don't you dare talk about your brother Miriam because he's in an interracial relationship will feel the Liberty of the Holy Ghost right now to tell you once we get racism cultural prejudice is a Haman that must die [Applause] you may be seated 12 disciples as Jesus is gathering his squad he came from different backgrounds different socioeconomic statuses but when they got together to serve the king they were all leveled at the feet of Jesus we are united by our purpose and we are united by our passion to reach the loss in spite of difficulties in spite of the lack of resources lack of skill sense talents or abilities we have a mandate to reach the whole world with this whole gospel by the whole church because of passion God called and chose a young couple my name of bill and Shirley Cole to break open uncharted territory in the South Pacific causing massive revival harvests in countries like Thailand Vietnam because of passion God used two young ladies the name of an island men and a converted nun from Illinois named Charlotte they unified these two women to evangelize the nation and blazed a trail that has caused shockwaves throughout the apostolic Pentecostal movement through their travels and revivals men like Benny the merchant missionary to Brazil TF 10 a former general youth president district superintendent of the Louisiana district received the baptism of the Holy Ghost during their revivals women [Applause] because of passion God used a squad of almost 30 students in the Minnesota district that accepted a challenge brought by brother Jason Brooks to facilitate project 7 Bible clubs throughout their state this year alone these 30 students taught 2,500 people in Bible studies through p7 30 students talk 2,500 people that's an overall impact of for every student that was involved and I know it's not just happening in the Holy Ghost [Music] [Applause] challenge if you are gonna go back home and unite with your local church squad to reach [Applause] lift your hands right now there's a prophetic call going out right now to activate some people that you think you're not good enough you don't have to be good enough he's God enough hallelujah and he can use what you've got two broken pieces it may be but he can put it together to be something powerful with a purpose the King Terry for a little bit [Applause] we are united my purpose passion and we are united by the promise hold on to it brother hold on to it somebody hold on to him a clear vision of the pearly gates and streets of gold will motivate us to accomplish Kingdom tasks at any cost we can only get to the other side or by say only that promise can only be attained our the plan of salvation laid out in Acts chapter 2 verse 38 repent be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus and we shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost when I'm calling casting vision to come together I'm not doing it haphazardly no you've heard the term before blood is thicker than water but in the kingdom of God let's not think it in water blood it's only as thick as the water we are family by a way of baptism first Corinthians 12:4 by one spirit are we all baptized into one body whether we be Jews or Gentiles whether we be bond or free and have been all made to drink into one spirit Ephesians 4 verse 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace there is one body and one spirit even as you're called in one hope of your calling one Lord one faith one baptism one God and Father of all who is above all and through all you are sorry but it does because you call yourself a Christian let's not make that a prerogative of you to be a part of this to you to do something to initiate yourself into this kingdom so the call of God to unite is not a call to be unequally yoked with unbelievers the call of God to unite is an invitation to experience healing in the body of Christ from a dismembered condition what binds us together as the family of God is the purpose the passion and the promise we all have in common if you've been filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus name that makes you my blood brother these three elements by which God chooses to unite us serve as a three-fold cord that cannot easily be broken unity is an apostolic imperative Kingdom connectivity is vital to Kingdom success if you remain standing book of Judges gives us a narrative here about Samson and he had an agenda there were some fields he wanted to set on fire the Bible says that he caught 300 foxes and took firebrands and turned them tail to tail meaning they were facing in opposite directions but their tails came together connected by the fire when he had set that firebrand ablaze he let them loose into the fields thus setting those fields on fire Samson loosed those foxes into the field with fire he wanted those fields on fire and the only way to accomplish that was to find some unruly untrusted untamed animals connect them engulfed them then loosed them toward their destiny no foxes may seem a little cute and cuddly but foxes cannot be domesticated cannot be controlled they have an innate desire to cause mischief there are nuisance to everything and everyone yet when these foxes are bound together by this powerful force the fire they are unstoppable in distributing that fire to their appointed fields and God is wanting to connect people together don't look at your past don't look at your background don't look at your mistakes get connected to the fire if you are in this place and you have not received the baptism of the Holy Ghost it's your time to receive the fire this week hallelujah and through that fire God will connect you to the body of Christ those of you that are making your way you can come but before we pray I want to give some direction for our prayer today [Music] Jesus is assembling his squad the Bible says he found Simon the fisherman and told Simon follow me Bible also says that he found James and John with their father Zebedee told him follow me I began to dig a little bit into that story and I found out that those weren't two separate entities Simon Peter was business partners with Zebedee and his sons they were together but the depiction is there what they were separate and so Jesus gets into Simon's boat [Music] give us a word the Simon that says you go a long shouting Simon to get some coal in his life see James and John over on the side eyeballing him like this Jesus preaches from Simon's boat then tell Simon I want you to go deeper I've got something for you out there said I want you to cast your nets for a job he said cast your nets plural you may have heard this before but then you know Oh Pete mr. know-it-all you know yeah we've been out there all night I got this Jesus this is this is just this is what I do I know how to fish but if you say so we'll go back out there for your sake and I let down my neck singularly you know thinking about this concept of casting a net and the type of boats that they were using I don't think they had more than one net per ship so when Jesus was telling Simon launch out into the deep in cashier Nets he didn't expect them to do it alone he had business partners don't leave your partner behind [Music] [Applause] he Simon Peter Casas net and the harvest that came broke his resources he couldn't handle it and so the Bible says he called for some help and the Bible says another ship came along and they were able to bring in this cash later on in the story you find that there are two people mending their nets it was James and John but whose net broke it was Simons why was James and John mending simon's net when he called Simon and said I'm gonna make you a Fisher a man they began to go along their way but something stopped Jesus in his tracks to include his partners they were willing to own Simon's brokenness his mistake they were helping to mend it all and when Jesus saw that he said you are qualified to be a disciple [Music] [Applause] so as they prepare to sink God is warning Youth Congress 19 to do some net work all the applause because you may not like what I have to say next it's easy to agree with repentance because we believe in it and we'll even say God I'm sorry if we get spiritual enough and mean it we'll do that but when the disciples asked Jesus how to pray he said pray like this our Father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us as we forgive [Music] your repentance is not complete unless you forget so there's gonna be a mending of the innovation of the kingdom of heaven for the church you've been breaking your resources because you're you're trying to attend kingdom initiatives alone you need your brother [Music] so what every hand lifted every are closed I want you to complete the work you started last night and repentance by now turning that forgiveness from receiving from God to giving to your brother if anybody has ever hurt you lied on you gossip about you use you physically mentally even emotionally hurt you it is time to release them from your grudge and your bitterness it is time [Music] come on complete the circuit complete the circuit and let the power begin the flow man Donets so you can handle what God wants to release into you [Music] [Music] [Music] will buy you two [Music] when I wanted to patch something against someone if you would go to right now we'll begin to pray with him trying to unify for what he's getting ready to do at the remainder
