Breaking Into Safe From 1877

all right so this safe here was made by the diebold Safe and Lock Company in Canton Ohio the date on it says March 27 1877. at one point in time this was in the Clear Lake newspaper office in Clear Lake Minnesota and now it doesn't open so we're gonna see what's inside it so all the way this safe is built it's got a layer of Steel on the outside then there's about six inches of concrete and then another layer of Steel on the inside so I drill the hole all the way through it and put this camera in there and you can see inside peanut butter jars full of coins so now we just got to cut this thing open all right I got inside on the left side of the safe where this pile of coins is all these jars full of coins were sitting on the right side there's this tray stack of hundreds in it that looks like a silver dollar pulls out more bags of coins in there a couple rings that's a pile of Buffalo nickels that jar a lot of pennies a lot of wheat pennies in there old quarters well dimes more wheat pennies on the top on the right side of the safe was this box and when we open that up it has a box inside with more old coins in it this tray was sitting right in the bottom of the safe open that up it's got a lot of silver dollars 50 cent pieces and a bunch of other coins in there I took the lock apart from inside the door got the door off of it that's everything cleared out this is everything that was in the safe we have uh three jars full of pennies a jar of nickels a jar with coins from a bunch of other countries we got a jar of quarters and a jar of Dimes both 64 and older so they have real silver in them we have a bag of Mercury dimes a bag of wheat pennies another bag of wheat pennies this is all Buffalo nickels they have a few steel pennies we have some Morgan dollars some peace dollars some walking liberty half dollars some JFK half dollars a few Bicentennial dollars a lot of Bicentennial half dollars Bicentennial quarters eight hundred dollars in hundred dollar bills some Blue Seal one dollar bills Red Seal two dollar bills dollar bill that says was printed in Dallas the day JFK was shot uh 1963 set from the Philadelphia mint we got a Canadian two dollar bill a five from the Philippines five and ten Cent Military Payment certificates a few rings some cufflinks and a ring here's some of the coins that were in there there's a large scent that had the edges clipped a three cent coin and a 1821 Spanish reel that's everything that was in there
