did you see the new horrible smash reveal that everyone literally [ __ ] hated what was it it was a [ __ ] xenoblade character oh yeah yeah like literally nobody outside of japan would ever care about a new xenoblade character i don't know if anybody yeah inside of japan necessarily does it's hard to say it feels sometimes like it's just for the ego of the guys that have created these more new games and they're like well we're first partying nintendo so uh it's probably and we're here at the office and uh so you should probably appreciate our characters more it's like nobody cares about xenoblades i mean i i think it's just integrated advertising really what is going on here that's the most simple explanation for it uh my problem with xenoblade like i i get the appeal like i i like those kinds of games like the big action rpgs like the open world action rpgs but something about xenoblade has never quite clicked with me where like i never really care about the world or the characters have you seen like the actual reveal for it it just seemed like really really lazy like it was the most like compared with sephiroth that was the best [ __ ] reveal ever and then right after that it's like the worst [ __ ] reveal ever it's just really weird maybe that's why they picked now to do it because everyone was feeling so good about sephirot still they're like we could really get away with anything so let's take our we let's take our weakest character we had left to reveal and do it now yeah sephiroth seemed like a preemptive apology yeah you're right because you already will are willing to forgive them because of sephiroth yeah i knew there was no way that it was going to be too good once in a row it was just not going to happen yeah i guess this game is more of like a it's like it's like almost a throwback to mario sunshine you know without any of its core game mechanics that's fine by me you like the hmong shooter i mean i don't miss it no but it was it's cool for that game but i wouldn't want it back the lighthouse wants to bring something to light the splotchy goop will vanish into the light of a cat shine if you can't find one try to look another island okay does each pile of goop need a certain amount of cat shines i guess because with shine sprites was a term specifically from i guess we're going over there now from that mario right can i just fly forever yeah wait where are you oh okay i can return to you uh-huh it's a gigabill i heard a cool thing about these i think it was when the beast rises the gigabella will ring or some [ __ ] maybe we got to get this splotchy goop off ye okay we gotta go over here if they did a reveal for smash and it was mike mate's gadget it would probably be the coolest thing ever i'd laugh mike matey's inspector gadget copyright unenforceable it would be so funny they should do that or they should do homer and peter griffin in the same reveal that would be awesome i think that would actually hype people the [ __ ] up somebody if you got friggin uh homer and peter griffin both choice smack i would [ __ ] scream in the light i'm sick of nintendo characters it's always nintendo obviously it's for picking shitty ones i think that one is a nintendo character i think that's the only reason they they know they have not actually created an iconic character in like a decade or two they should have gotten the metal slug guy it was like who was the last like all all the all the recent iconic nintendo characters have just been additions to like mario or zelda i think uh they could have gotten chrono trigger guy they could have done eggman you mean chrono yeah oopsie or metal sonic that'd be cool uh yeah i know i'd rather get an eggman or a metal sonic or tails or knuckles i mean i'm still like they won't put tails or knuckles in because they put him in his trophies already i still think gino would be a good one yeah no ever yeah gina would be pretty cool gino i i whoa i know it becomes more obscure the law the further we get from you know the 20 year ago release of super mario rpg but nobody would be upset about that i just can't imagine it i mean if this were like purely about like the characters they'd probably put like crash bandicoot they'd they'd yeah i was really thinking crash would get in oh oh like there's some that i would want that i just like there's probably no chance in hell like master chief or kratos or something like there's no way they would do like dante would be a good one dante would be great uh [ __ ] i was thinking like couldn't they do at this point doesn't microsoft have like or does bungie still own the rights to mastershield no microsoft does and they they put a banjo in which microsoft also owns that right and and minecraft yeah so they feasibly could they could do uh what's his name they could i'm not sure if the they would yeah like i know i'm stupid for wanting that one but like i want i don't think you're stupid for wanting that i think like solid snake is kind of like all alone as like the modern kind of fighter guy in that game i don't think it could hurt to have another one i wanna yeah i wanna see them actually try to tackle a character from a first person shooter like i wanna see how they would actually do it because they usually bring in mechanics that kind of like work with the game that they're bringing the character from i would hope they bring the sticky grenade i think that would be one of the best things oh yeah or the doom guy the doom guy would also be cool oh yeah yeah master chief you could definitely make him play like something between like mega man and snake would be like a good a good way to do that but yeah i don't know that one's stupid phoenix wright would be a good one okami would be a good one i'd love phoenix straight just because it would mean they could add the music into the kids oh yeah that'd be sick you're showing me all the music i still have a very big soft spot for the the music of the original trilogy yeah it's real good oh there's another one over here there's that like i i don't know if it's like the group or whatever like the cadenza yeah like album i like the cadenza one i like the orchestra one i think the best though the phoenix meets orchestra and there's also phoenix wright meets jazz lounge which is a really good listen too those games were interesting those games were like really satisfying like when you figure it out you're like especially the first one i don't think anything will ever quite be as good as the first one go get that yeah can you hit this but i like two and i think you're gonna be a cat three has some good parts i've played nearly all of them other than like the ones that never got imported oh are there straight up ones that never came here well they were like themed ones they weren't official canon phoenix right but they were like yakutin saiba and themed in like in like uh like 1600s japan or something like that i was i was curious about that but they never released it in this country or in english period as far as i know is this considered a full game or just like a quick hour kind of a thing i feel like this is i i've heard it's like it's like three to five hours yeah it's something that they that they built to to help sell this remake for full price that's fair fort flap trap bully
