BOW vs CROSSBOW vs GIANT CLAY BLOCKS!!!

[Music] hey everybody how you doing this is about to be a really fun video you can see out here i have some more of the soft clay blocks every time we do one of these videos you guys love it and keep requesting more so i went to hobby lobby again and bought all the clay they had but this time we're not flanking bullets we're flinging arrows check out those razor blade tips and for anyone who wants to know these are what a deer hunt with when i do hunt in bow season these are allen brand i got from walmart like 10 years ago but last time i went through they still sell these these are pretty much the cheapest broadheads you can get i've taken more deer with these than i can even remember but this is crossbow versus compound bow you can see one of these is longer than the other this one's for the crossbow this one is for the bow bow let me show you what i'm shooting here with this is what i actually hunt with when i do hunting bow season first i'm gonna shoot the bow this is my i always forget bear polar bear two check that out definitely not new i bought this i've told y'all before in other videos like over 10 years ago but it still works there's a small chance this uh string is going to snap and come back and hit me in the face but as far as i know sucker still works i'm gonna shoot this first with this long arrow add some clay then i'm gonna go grab another piece of clay get out the crossbow and this is my old ancient pse crossbow check that out but it's got the old school pin sights not even a place to mount the scope on this the old one you look through that peep up here at the pins down front but same thing with this one i've taken a bunch of deer with this one that compound bow actually shot my first deer with a long time ago but i'm gonna grab the bare polar bear shoot this thing hopefully dead square center put a bunch of cameras on and hopefully uh those razor blades tear up the clay what'd you say you think it's not going to go through oh do you think it's going to go all the way through or get stuck all the way through paul says all the way through both of them okay i think the bow is gonna go all the way through and the crossbow's gonna get stuck somehow but hopefully i hate them dead center and we see a big old hole where those razor blades are tearing through the clay but i've never seen anybody do this before i think it should be pretty cool let me load up the bow here and we'll get to going all right now i'm gonna get pretty close uh pretty near point blank reason is because i haven't practiced with this bow in like two or three years so i would miss we're gonna make sure that i hit that piece of clay though i'm just gonna look down the arrow here so this is maybe like a two yard shot uh if i miss this feel free to make fun of me in the comments you'll probably hear paul laughing back behind us but see if i can hit this piece of clay with this old school bow dead center here oh yeah that bow still works well if i can get it on the rest oh i gotta lift down i gripped it bad i hope not there we go that's a cleaner grab there here we go here we go oh it hit the metal back behind they had a bad angle on it so i'm going to take another shot but i'm going to take another shot but let me give you the walk around real quick so you can see the front there where the blades hit then coming around the back my arrow hit that lip right there but tell you the truth let me get some better lighting here there you can see the exit there that did not do what i expected i expected like a big hole like we were hitting with a hollow point or something but i'm going to shoot it a little bit further to that other side and get a little bit different angle on it and see what happens with the bow second shot all right let's take a second shot here see if i can hit it a second time i'm like oh no my arrow rest flew off you got to be kidding me had a little arrow rest right there i don't know if i can find it and even shoot it well this might have just become a wall hanger it's not worth putting another arrow rest on it see if maybe i can't get it to shoot anyways well that was a bummer well we're still going to have to get real even closer to make sure i hit it with no arrow rest but see if i can make it work [Music] well well i hit it again let's go see what happened going up to it there was our first shot and here's our second shot from the sound of it it sounded like i hit the metal again but i would have thought that arrow would have gone all the way through let me spin this around the light so you can see it here there's the exit of those arrows so there's the first one there pretty much just the shape of the blades coming out and same story on that one i kind of expected this whole center to just kind of blow out like you would think would happen with a uh pistol or rifle around but i think we could probably even reuse this and just shoot this side with the crossbow so we get set up with a crossbow see what happens with it hopefully more exciting than this all right now check this out tell me if you can load your crossbow like this not as strong as i used to be but i'm going to load this sucker and we're going to try to make it all the way through that clay right quick all right now no guarantees that i'm going to hit this one square because for this one i can't look down the bolt really but let's see if it goes through safety off or hot with the crossbow see if this one goes all the way through [Music] all right let's check it out see what happened there's the front of it so just about the feathers fletchings whatever you want to call them come out this side look at the one of those razor blades has gone off of there there's only two on there oh it's laying right there and then look at the back of it how it's kind of split open there not very exciting but i'll tell you what we still got a side here let me uh go ahead and shoot it with whatever pistol i got in my pocket today but there you have the the results of the uh crossbow versus bow there's what the crossbow did and there's what the bow did not very exciting but surprise ending we're going to shoot this piece of clay with whatever i got carrying on my hip today see what happens all right so surprise surprise what's in my pocket it's my taurus spectrum 380 today got that little uh nylon thing and what kind of bullets i got in here i normally keep full metal jacket in there yep there you have it see if i can hit that piece of clay square there and we're going to see what happens with it oh yeah let's get up there a little bit closer and see what it did to it if you never checked out a spectrum hey check them out i said that and look at it there it didn't load the next round i'm sitting here bragging on it and it didn't know the next one but uh yeah usually it's a good one i'm gonna go ahead and uh i don't know but i need to get it loaded in case somebody comes up on us here there we go we got one hot in there throw it back in my pocket but let's go up there and check out that uh clay here all right so these were full metal jacket flat nose 380 rounds take a look at that all the way through didn't do too much to the side there but it came out the back spin this around a little bit so we can see the back there there's the back side see all the way through it nothing too crazy might have been a little more extreme with some hollow points but that's what a 380 flat nose does to some clay blocks appreciate y'all watching big time those crossbows and bows that wasn't exciting on that clay as i expected i'm used to making those suckers explode with rifles and pistols tons of videos of us doing that on the channel already go check it out there's a good chance your favorite
