[Music] foreign [Music] hello everyone welcome to another battle report from us at dice check I'm the bricks on the Garrett Garretts and uh we're playing 40K today we gotta we gotta list we got a list of things in fact yes uh black Templars versus necrons today I want my hand back yo yeah so there's a little there's a little that going on we'll talk about in a second um but uh to start actually we're talking about real quick today we're doing the Hanford hammer and Anvil oh deployment it's gonna be fun 18 inches of deployment and we're gonna run at each other well I'm gonna run you're gonna be like I'm gonna try to shoot you yeah and then we have scorched Earth this this is gonna be a fun one we have five objectives and if you get onto the objective and you control it and you perform the action of the scorcher for the primary and you hold it to a two-man face next command phase yep you go in there do it whole turn the objective just goes away bye-bye and then you can kind of like it's almost like a control mechanism to push them into a certain thing yep yep and it's gonna be fun and then we have sleep and clear so I can hold it and then move away so and so can I no you can't yeah but we can't we'll talk about that later you're like okay you're like I leave your hand on the objective and I can leave it I leave hellbrick's severed hand on the objective dude I just pick it and I being said let's do the lists all right I'll hop into mine first because the camera's over here yes plus you got you got it freshly painted and you want definitely want to show it because it's so beautiful we have some brand new beautifully painted necrons uh courtesy of a very lovely painter Dr Rhino who I commissioned for these crons finally after all these years the silent King is actually making an appearance it took him a while I am Zoop there we go I took him as long as it's returned it took him a long ass time but he is here now uh so my list is of course the only detection we currently have it runs the silent King because he is the coolest dude ever ironically it also runs his rival imitech the stormlord with 10 Immortals with ghost blasters we have a night Scythe with a incredible looking Bass from I think it's pop goes the monkey I think they make that don't don't quote um Doom stalker reanimator a few scarabs a big 20 brick of an Overlord a technomancer two crypto throws and warriors with the veil of darkness and the hyper material ablator yes two squads of five death marks two squads of five Flay ones and a triarch stalker and that is literally my entire list honestly if I'm being if I'm being totally honest it is literally the stuff that he painted for me with some exceptions there was also like the void Dragon that kind of wanted to run but then man the silent King is kind of expensive so I was like ah we'll do all the cool stuff so the pink stuff is what I brought left over but everything else that's this cool orange and silver is all Dr Rhino so shout out to him watch his streams on Twitch he does an amazing job as you can very evidently tell Space Marines black Templar we're back at it again but hopefully have a better showing holy [ __ ] uh I am repping the sword Brethren I am taking a tin man here with hellbrecht leading them followed up by another five man as well with the emperor's Champion he is coming onto the battlefield now uh followed up by the one and only Repulsor executioner with the multi melta uh got a fine man squad of infiltrators two 20-man bricks of primaries Crusaders one with a captain and one with grimaldis uh the captain is going to have the sigismund seal I will be running the valves for sustained hits followed up by I'm drinking water out of here what three outriders because I had like my list came out to a weird number I had like 30 extra points and I was like well I'll just drop an infiltrator Squad and just take some outriders for fun and I painted them up the other night and they're kind of I like them baller is my Doggers the biggest thing to know is the sixth missile and then I'm taking stain hits one which is what's it called accept any challenge no matter the odds okay all right I guess that makes sense because you're like kind of hoard clearing it's like a million versus one any challenge that makes sense all right cool um with that being said there isn't a whole lot else going on uh if you want to do top down real quick I can uh discuss the various obscuring and line of sight blocking and stuff so basically it's a big plus this all the ruins here in the center are all loss blocking as well as the two on the objective markers the ones in the corners are not they obviously generate ah oh I see your game but obviously generate cover but they do not uh give Los blocking uh I think we roll for deployment first big money all right do you want to place first or second I'll play first you'll place first all right yeah I'll I'm attacking you I'm trying kind of get my hand back I feel like it's somatically the way to go about it all right then what is in the reserves what if in reserves it's gonna be my 10-man squad a sword brother in here okay in strategic research strategic resilience sword Brethren here my six-man Squad is going into their posters bolster executioner as well I have to have my night size in reserves because it's a aircraft uh and then other than that I am simply going to take one Squad of flame ones put them in reserves sweet and that's it I don't know what would you rather go first or second if I'm being totally honest I prefer second yeah I am because if I go first I can hide a lot more units to be honest true uh if I go second I just if I can weather it maybe I'll be okay but oh oh no I told you I never go first let me go get to re-roll your Advance roll if you have which I do have a character leading it so uh all right now that's done let's let's talk about what I did the Immortals moved up to get some shots the uh Warriors moved up so they can actually end up doing the thing and then you have the song King moved up just to move up and then the stalker and the scarabs are in the back for signals so uh with that they are going to do deploy teleport homers being six inches from the things and then investigate signals same deal you're boys they shall be shot who are you shooting with first and Mortals first eight shots let's go all right let's go give me the Tuesday hits we are not close enough to the king to do anything different that is lethal we're wounding you on freeze take your six saves eddiepie nothing because of cover give me them threes oh so today okay is that all they're attacking uh the Immortals yes all right I'd give out push Ed about he's so devout he's the most devout out there moved up some boys here in the front to just be up there and doing all kinds of stuff and then the night Scythe came down here uh for the uh turn two gonna get a nice little shot off over there on those outriders I have a triarc stalker as well as some scarabs in the corners and I also dropped some flayed ones way in the other corner for investigate signals and silent King is going to run up here and make some friends and uh that's about it so let's uh let's start shooting I'm gonna wrap a digress oh he's ingression I just I I think I just need to split and see what you deal with on 16. oh that's right you got tacky on Arrow one shot wounds ap5 uh D6 plus two cool uh four okay uh oh that which reminds me that's the squad with the all the Warriors The Warriors are also firing into your tank we'll do a quick staff of light three shots it was on sixes okay there's two ap2 one damage each so uh if it's 22 shots yeah if it's uh not actually no no no you're right yeah 22 shots it's threes because character yes three is really ones because King let's go that was a very bad roll is it four year olds no it's two year old ones okay all fails five lethals we are wounding you on the overwhelming force and then yeah he drew oh well first things first you get five for primary uh five eight ten ten so Garrett gets ten for primary yep so anyway over rolling force and no prisoners yep want to gather 20. five up saves into five up fuel no pains in the crystal balls are increditals are insane so we lost one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen Warriors all right uh so these are uh the power fists equal hits so Julie list with sustains we're gonna go ahead try to double our the more money nope and then well I pretty much so we have three lethal hits okay we're starting to sustain three lethal and then I wound you on twos oh did we re-rule the wind roll oh yeah yeah okay all right sixes and then these will be fives into fives require both so neither of them so one two three four five six seven eight more die so they're two damage each right that's why I roll the five and the fives the technomancer will take two more two damage and is probably brought down to I believe like one wound two wounds he has two wins left so you have a Power sword and a uh and a captain left yeah so let's see it the Warriors have died all right threes sorry for the red dice my bad let's just rewrite [ __ ] it nope that was my greed should be on yep six so just one there's one I fail just one damage then he's down to one all right so now the captain with devastating wounds cold drop those two hits on that so and then uh Mortals on Stitches so two Mortals okay and then [Music] um yep uh cocked okay so that was the four I think yeah so damage uh to each to each two negative two AP Master crafted power all right so these are oops I dropped one so uh I believe these will be sixes until he dies dies uh so there goes him the technomancer and then we have things to take on the overlord uh he has a four up involves across the board for the rest pretty good I only failed three and the overlord is minus one damage and I also have we have two more they have two Mortals so he is down he takes I think five total one two three plus two yep that's how math which takes the which takes good old Overlord to the F5 or six yeah six moves let's go he's down with one I survive with one wounds um gaming oh I forgot to add three extra attacks to it why because of his ability uh once for bad round uh I once for battle at the start of the phase this model can use his ability if it does until the end of the face add three attack characteristic of the melee weapon oh that thing do you want to use it well I mean it could kill it but I didn't do it so it wouldn't be well did you want to save it for later no no I popped it right away because we throw more attacks throw more attacks sorry about that so two went through with lethal uh went through and then sixes and then two devs with oh he's dead though he's deaf all right cool then I will spend a CP to revive him let's go boom he's back now I get to fight which is the most important part yep have the attacks characteristics of that model's weapons oh god oh no oh Jesus so that's not good that's only six attacks then uh I'm gonna put them into uh the squad that just killed my Warriors sounds good so assist attacks on threes uh one lethal though wounds on twos I already yeah our armored contempt right no okay so I will armor contempt him so it will be five so three day all right points uh uh I got the end of my turn for ten more points wait hold up slow down for Vivian I would be able to wrap around kill this unit and then go on to this even if I didn't have the points next thing is this is cleansed that's cleansed and then next I would be able to uh or sorry there's a burned that's a cleanse yeah it's yeah so this would be cleansed so I'd get points there and I think it's only um like three points for that cleanse so three for cleanse that wrap around yes and then wrap around to that and I would control 10 for uh yes so so three points for cleanse and then 10 points for primary and then five for storm hustle objective and then five for storm hostile and then at the end of the game an additional 10 points for primary so 20 points are primary because you cleansed you burn two objectives and this is a close game dude it's real close what do you uh what do you got Vivian I think you just scored secondary so well yeah I did also 20 points right here drum roll everybody we another way and then I was like oh the flayed ones I thought I lost it right there so the biggest fault in this list is that exactly yeah so if uh the outriders in my I thought they were gonna be you just kind of had really insane roles on that that would kind of be my maneuverability if I need to get because I was like maybe I try to be smart and like put like a good fast objective unit on it to like get up and do points and stuff like that but I mean I should have shot more with the king I really wanted to get in there and cause problems yeah I got I got in there a little too much dude that rule for like having your attacks is the dumbest rule that was that was really rough 470 points should not exist yeah that was that was really bad I would agree King should go down but he did not do poor no he did Super well he murdered a lot um death marks are not that great they are they're they're fun I think they're going to be really I think they'd be really good against like a squishy character protection Army like ad Mech or sisters or Eldar you know where you gotta like pop out something important yeah um but besides that they're okay I think they would be good if they had an extra shot I think we doubled their attacks they would be really sorry 10 shots for a unit for 522 with precision uh that's pretty good I did I think if you just drop it to four strength and then just give them dead wounds well no that's really [ __ ] or change the damage to one I don't know anyways I think I think that's a game this game Workshop thing not my thing I think they're fine I just need I need a different thing the idea for it the night size was kind of fun imitec is like he's it's okay the CP is all I care about and it's really good getting the CP yeah and you you brought in a really fun list so that's the thing like if if we were meta chasing then it would be like too much of our bricks and it's just like yeah how do you deal with that the track stalker would be gone yeah that thing would not exist in this well he threw the entire game doing um signals right dude yeah that that actually that was I would almost just dumped that card after that I was considering it um damn how was uh dude hellbark is so good you so good dude the combo okay the combo of sustained hits and lethal hits and it's on a five with awesome moments is stupid that's ridiculous but I granted it's two gigantic blobs that are like 400 points the only reason it's not OP is because melee right now is like yeah because you saw me move up I lost like half my unit by the time can you imagine a
