what's going on guys black Scout survival and today I got our gear review for you and this is the SC Reynolds veteran training XE knives am s10 survival kit this is a pretty new product and a pretty pretty good survival kit I like reviewing survival kits let's see what people offer out there and I actually tested this thing for a little while cooked in it did all kinds of stuff in it so anyhow it comes in this mess 10 and has a rubber band around it you can use this for fire starting or whatever but the 10 has the SE loop you can see that and a handle built in and holds the lid on and I've already like yourself cooking a lot so mines been polished a lot for me cleaning with a uh pad but the the Republican components in the tent obviously you know good system because then you got a way to boil water cook food whatever when you first open the kit you have the SE knives candor ooh you know small fixed blade a very very cool knife and it comes in a new injected molded sheath say there's a cutting tool the next thing you see is to world pack bags for water storage you get an end your signal mirror with a retro-reflective aiming lens you get this little package here and inside of here is very very cool because I'm not seeing this in any survival kit but it's basically a waterproof patch and then to sell cloth needles so for you know repairing gore-tex or things like that very very smart to put the patch in there I've never seen that with a kit before this is their new notepad that's going to be I guess coming out and it's right in the rain small notepad but what's cool about this is you see this set screw up here and on the back you have a compass cards you have UTM grid cards all kinds of different scale cards for different Maps you have these waterproof navigation and short-term survival tip cards and then a basic topo map information distress signals how to adjust declination all this kind of information in these cards that are removable so you can take them off attach them to your compass or whatever you're doing and they're already pre slotted with holes for marking on your map so I love this thing here you get four tender quick tabs for fire starting a Orange acne whistle plist whistle you get some paracord this is I believe it's called type 1 paracord cordage a roll of duct tape water purification tablets use with the world pack bags some in your storm matches safety matches Windham proof waterproof British SAS style and I've used these already during my testing you get some bright strike lights they have that little strobe function there then a slower stroke and then a constant on they're both in green good format reading and when I was training in the SCO survival is advanced survival filled course we use these and I'm tell you these things are very very good they last a long time you get a very good compass you know most survival kits kept on the Caucasus is assumed to compass so I was very very happy to see that base plate compass you get a SD card that comes with most of the knives then you get a packet of like any cards and a survival tip cards as well some brass snare wire and then another cutting tool you get the Victoria Knox hiker as a main blade bottle opener stuff like that screwdriver instead of the wine bottle opener all so good knife it's got a saw as well so great knife to have with that along with that I can Daru you get an indoor Ferro rod some Kevlar cordage and you make you know traps and stuff like that then you get a survival fishing kit let me go ahead show you this stuff real quick you get a adventure survival equipment off Fornell lens pencil and flagging tape to mark your trail if you're you know lost mark we're rescuers can see let's go ahead and open up this side so you get another 10 with survival fishing gear in there and you can use this tent obviously for a char cloth or anything else but you get two floats to start off on corks fishing line two jigs one curly tail G a fly some salmon eggs and then a whole bunch of hooks weight weights and leaders so as you see man very very solid survival kit got a lot of good gear in here and even a non survivalist could probably last a few days with this gear you know there is instructions on the water purification tablets and like I said I've already cooked food with this I went camping cooked some stew with this and stuff like that boil water with it a few times so anyhow good set of gear to cutting tools you know saw a lot of good stuff so be able to look out for this kit if you're interested make sure you check out se knives that link below check out black Scouts wild icon for more tips and tutorials if you have subscribed please subscribe and as always thanks for watching
