tonight do I want to challenge you tonight in the Book of Daniel and that is where I have the the theological narrative from which to glean certain truth but I want to pull you into theological philosophy also and seek and I connect both together in in second Corinthians as you're finding Daniel chapter 3 we're going to look at verse 13 and then 16 through 19. I will not ask you to stand tonight but we will look at this and then we will read in Corinthians and look at about verse 7 to verse 10. uh Daniel chapter 3 verse 13. the Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach Meshach and Abednego then they brought these men before the king and of course the king then says to them is it true that you did not bow you won't serve my gods neither the image that I set up and he says but I'll give you another chance you know I'll give you another chance and I want to know about this God who can deliver you out of my hands but I'll give you another chance so Shadrach Meshach in 16 and Abednego answered and said to the king oh Nebuchadnezzar we are not careful to answer thee in this manner and then they said if it be so if it be so somebody say if it be so our God whom we serve is able to Deliver Us From The Burning Fire firm now if you came to me and I was laying on a sick bed and you told me God was able you wouldn't have told me anything I didn't know I know he's able what I need you to tell me is will he amen it's not a prophetic word to tell me he's able but now will he and he will Deliver us out of thine hand O King but if not we will not serve thy Gods nor worship the golden image which thou has set up now notice how he's changed from 13 to 19 and 13 he was in his rage in Fury in 19 he was full of Fury and the form of his Visage was changed against Shadrach Meshach and Abednego therefore he spake and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it want to be heated interesting second Corinthians chapter 12. and the the book of Corinthians the first book Paul was just so so horrific in his attitude I mean he whipped the church just so tremendously until the judaizers took advantage of it and began to teach the people anti-poll messages and so the second Corinthians now Paul is very concerned about the attitude of the Corinthian people against him and he becomes very personal as he begins to deal with people he loves who now have turned against him then he begins to open up his own visions and in verse 7 he points out now now notice now the people are against him and because the people are against him God has taken him into a deeper revelatory experience and because God takes him into a deeper revelatory experience now Satan buffeted the people are against him the devil's after him and God won't do what he says he says now and in seven and lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations there was given to me a poem in the flesh the messenger of Satan to Buffet me lest I should be exalted above measure for this thing I besought the Lord Thrice that it might depart from me and he said unto me my grace is sufficient for thee my strength is made perfect in weakness most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure and infirmities and reproaches and necessities and persecutions in distresses for Christ's sake for when I am weak then am I strong uh from from Daniel let's take the subject from Daniel tonight look at your neighbor and say everybody needs and if not clause yes look at somebody and say what if not mm-hmm I already know I'm in trouble tonight but I don't mind I guess sitting in service a while ago and just listening to to the Evangelist Crawford when she got up and hearing the testimony of the Blessed Financial [Music] Deliverance that God sent I sat right in the seat and I got two pictures two two very different pictures because when the Evangelist got up she spoke about that precious child of God who wanted to be here tonight sick with cancer and I speak this word to her tonight if she ever gets the stick she couldn't make it here because on her way here she got sick she had to go back home on the other hand as I was coming to church in the car I heard the tremendous blessing that God bestowed on another one of his children now notice now both of them are the children of God both of them saved one has an enormous testimony of what God did financially and the other couldn't get to church because she was sick I wonder how many of us in here ever came to the Lord looking for his grace is sufficient I wonder how many people in here who have served the Lord these many years without a husband and have been praying desperately for God to send the maid because they have become very lonely and and need somebody to live with of course I want somebody saved I got many offers but I won't take any because I'm looking for that ideal righteous man you've touched a degree you've sat in front of the prophets you've expected miracle statements to lift your faith and to keep you and I wonder how you would receive it if after you have prayed these five or 60 years if the Lord was simply to say to you I'm not going to give you a husband but my grace is sufficient can I take my time tonight I might not hope too much um I wonder how many of us have have aspired to great wealth and of course how many of us have prayed and believed God and we have given in our tithing and we have given in every offering and we haven't missed any we have been extraordinarily benevolent to others with whatever we have and we have sowed into the kingdom of God believing and trusting God to turn our financials State around there were some of us who are sitting here tonight who have uh tell them uh tell them you're all right you're in church tell them don't worry about you uh some of us who have been extraordinarily faithful and we have done those things that we knew to do and we have followed every everything that we have been told and yet still just this week we found ourselves with another financial crisis and another situation and we're beginning to wonder now where is God in all of this because I've done my peace and it's been marketed from the pulpit and been solicited and have been declared I wonder what would happen if after all of that we were to go before God and in laying out in front of him in another crisis he'd say to you you will never be a millionaire but my grace is sufficient we have prayed about our children and we have asked God to direct their path and keep them out of wickedness we have raised them properly we have brought them to church consistently and yet still here is another one of our boys after the first two have already gone to Reformatory School here is the one that we have put all our trust in and depended God on the god to make different from the others but what if the Lord says this one's going the same way the others have gone but my grace is sufficient I proposed to you tonight that not many of us sitting here in church really want to deal with my grace is sufficient I propose that many of us have totally put that aside as if it has nothing to do with our Walking with God because when we're sick we want to be healed when we're broke we want God to put money in our pockets when our children are being raised we want God to direct them and we want God to keep them in the path of righteousness whether they want to be there or not most of us aren't prepared to deal with my grace is sufficient oh I don't want to wear your patience tonight with this but I will notice with you then that if if if that is the case then somewhere along the line we have got to rethink our theology because God raised Lazarus from the dead but Lazarus died again as powerful as Peter was Peter's not here tonight with all the greatness of Paul he isn't here tonight and none of us sitting in here is ever going to be exempt from circumstances and situations that go against what we want but the bottom line is that a child of God has to have a different kind of attitude in the midst of what they go through because his grace is sufficient oh I'm gonna drive that devil out of here tonight uh it it's important to see this as as I Muse upon this and I as I think upon this I think oftentimes that we have to become more responsible in our presentation of Truth because truth has to be balanced everybody sitting in here is not going to be rich and some folk in here have got to go through some sicknesses that will be unto death but at the same time go through the sickness with the Defiance that I know my God is able I believe he will but if not devil I'm still not going to bow to your music oh there's somebody in here like that there's somebody in here that knows they can Praise Him and lift him up no matter what the circumstances are [Applause] I propose to you that the reason why we have had to deal with so many questions and as I sat and talked to the bishop just for a minute and uh this is my first time out since the event and and he hasn't gone out yet and uh it's not that anybody's afraid it's simply that those of us who have congregations thought it would be more appropriate for us to spend the time with them you know getting them through all these hurdles and it is in the face of the enemy it's in the face of the enemy and in the face of a misinterpretation of our walk with God that we challenge God when events take place that we don't like uh you're sitting here and and and many of us have have a sensitivity of course to to New York and the five and the 5 000 people who just suddenly were cut off and we have a sensitivity and rightly so but if we look historically we should have a sensitivity to 20 million Africans who are under the Atlantic Ocean we should have a sensitivity to six million Jews who were destroyed by Hitler we should have a sensitivity to Millions thousands of people who have been lynched right here through the South and other places in America I propose to you that our sensitivity is not necessarily to the 5 000 or the 20 million our sensitivity is to ourselves I think we've just become a little selfish about this because we're really not wondering about what would happen to them like we're wondering what would happen to us oh I've got to preach just a little bit here because somebody has to deal with the if not because some are delivered some are sustained but some have to die but it doesn't matter whether you're delivered or you're sustained or you have to die if you have a relationship with the Lord you look the devil in the face and say the God I serve He's Able he will but if not I'm still gonna praise him like I should oh I feel God here oh you can't can I deal with it just a little here you see now from the philosophical aspect of it and Paul is saying that he said to me my grace is sufficient for thee my strength is made perfect in weakness and he uses the perfect case here when he deals with the word my grace is sufficient that Clause is in what the Greeks put the perfect tense and the force of that statement then connects the past to the present he is saying that he said this to me then with the few that it is still in force which means then that the power of the Comfort was so great that it was not just the statement that he remembers it but it is a statement that continually rehearses itself in his mind and this is I am enough when you don't have a friend I am enough when you don't have any money I am enough when they treat you like a piece of dirt I am always old enough because in whatever I don't deliver you from I comfort you in oh God if I wish I could talk to some folk that that just want to love Jesus tonight he said here that the one writer says whiner says and I quote Paul says the answer was ever sounding in his ears but not only in his ears but in those of all of us who have to go through some things you see what Satan wants to say to us is that you only serve God when things go your way you only serve him when you believe he's going to bring you out of something or give you something like walking with God I have to be bought and nobody wants somebody with them that they have to buy I hope somebody'd want to be with me just for me and what the Lord is saying is if I don't bring you out how you're going to treat me if I don't make a way next week what am I going to get from you oh I feel God's presence in this place oh it is my grace he says and it's it's it's a meta Norm for for my love and it's a substitute he is saying now let's substitute my grace my love is enough I thought you just wanted to be with me yeah I thought you just liked the spiritual connection that we have I didn't know I had to keep you in me glory and I didn't know I had to keep you in rolls royces and Mercedes in order for you to enjoy me but every now and they're not allow the devil to move against you just to see where your heart really is oh God I feel your presence here one writer says and he says he says I behave he said he says these words give me a little more monitors should be engraved in the palm of every believer's hand it should be something that you look at because you can have a lot of money and still be unhappy oh yes you can be sick and still be glad I wish I could talk to you here because what you're saying to the devil is you can't cut off how I feel about my God because I know he's able I believe he will but if not I still love him like I used to love him when everything was going my way I feel God here Shake somebody's hand say it's break through time the question then he says to those who seek deliverance from pain he says it is enough that I love you and and now this secures and implies all of the good because what God says is my loving kindness is better than life you see because here's what he's done he has now disassociated my walk with him from my circumstance you see again can I just take my time you see what Satan wants to do is take your circumstance to form your theology oh God you can praise him when things are going well and then Satan sits around and accuses us to God and accuses God to us to break up the spiritual connection that we have he accuses us to God when he says to God does job serve you for nothing if you gave me all you gave job I would serve you too you see in other words God don't nobody really wants you they just want what you have oh God I wish I could preach to you in here A whole lot of folk are alone tonight because they had somebody who didn't really want them they just wanted what you had and as soon as what you had began to shrink they began to look somewhere else nobody wants to be with anybody who simply wants you for what you have or how you put out when I can't put out would you still be here when I don't have Rolls-Royce money would you still I'll be here I feel like preaching tonight oh Shake somebody's hand and say if not I'll still be lifting up the name of my God it is it is this this this gives God damn this now the if not Clause gives God the freedom not only to sustain us but it gives God the freedom to display his all-sufficient power because what we have done is limited God's power to Deliverance how might I put this son ah here I am locked behind the gate and I'm locked behind this gate and I can't get out and I call on the Lord and I get real spiritual because I want you to deliver me out of this gate of this bad marriage or out of the the prison of this financial difficulty or out of the prison of this sickness Deliver Me Lord I want out and I get real dedicated and consecrated and I call on him and I see the Lord coming through the words of the prophet and through the words of the preacher and I get real happy God's going to deliver me he's going to let me out oh thank you Jesus he walks up to the gate and he opens it and he says come out you're delivered and I say thank you Lord I'm so glad and I say I'll see you when I need you the next time and now I'm in the same prison and I'm locked in here and I cry out to God I say deliver me deliver me here change my situation and I see him coming and I get real glad and he walks up to the gate opens the gate and he doesn't say come out but he comes in shuts the gate on the inside and say now that I'm in here we can handle it together oh I feel God in here everybody in this house has known him as a deliverer but you've also known him as a sustainer because often times he's got to keep you until he brings the miracle of Deliverance oh I believe this thing tonight oh can I preach like I feel it give somebody high five and say he's sustaining me right now I'm looking for a Deliverance right now but if not I'm still gonna drag myself to Churchill and give God the glory and I feel God in here oh touch your neighbor and say when it's time to mature ah yo the weakness here when he speaks then he says my strength is made perfect in weakness and so what God wants to do now is take the infirmative in front of the enormity of the enemy to show how powerful he is I want you to see clearly what he's doing he's bringing us to realize that our strength is absolutely nothing in the face of an enormous enemy as long as there is no challenge we walk around with strength because where there is no challenge there is no analysis of where you are it is in the midst of the challenge of the end yeah that we begin to find out who and where we are it is when the enemy is looking at us and threatening the very existence that we have it's only then we find out where we are without the challenge I'm strong I never thought that I would give any kind of great prayer before I got on a plane I took getting on a plane for granted it's a way of life and all of a sudden I'm in sackcloths and Ashes before I do what I've always done it is in face of the enemy that my theology has to be reworked I got to sit down now and begin to calculate have I always spoke the right thing did I always believe the right thing I got rich preaching Deliverance I got rich preaching sustenance but what about the folk who don't have the money are they not as safe as those who do what about the folk I have them and I thank God I have at home young fellas 27 28 women 30 and 31 who have 70 100 million dollars but I also have folks who come through the door seeking help from the church in order to make their lives work when I look at the rich ones I'd say more spiritual than those who are poor then the answer is a categorical no because somebody who's poor has to know God in a different way way then somebody who's rich I wish I could preach to you and every now and then the rich ought to know him in the same way that the poor have to know him and the poor need to know him the same way that the rich need to know him but everybody needs to know God enough to say I know he is able I believe he will but if not I tell you we're still gonna lift him up can I get to the shake somebody's hand and tell him you'll never be the same after tonight oh I gotta go a little further I feel like preaching in here it is here then in weakness that God says this now becomes the manifestation of my strength he said as long as you were in your power curve I didn't get a chance to display who I am as long as there was no challenge there was no need for me to display my power and my strength but whenever you realize that you aren't that much by who you think you are then I get a chance to show just how great I am so what I want is the enemy to challenge you until you find out that you can't defeat him yourself I want the enemy to challenge you until you find out that you can't even help me to turn the situation around I want the thing to come against you so enormously that I get an opportunity to show you just how powerful I really am I feel this thing tonight most of us don't want to go through it I don't want to go through it Lord I don't want to have to prove I am as good as job I know that we talk about Abraham and we say how great he was to sacrifice his own son but would you want to be his son I wish somebody'd help me yeah Abraham oh he really loves God but would you want a father who would put a knife through your heart to prove how much he loves God none of us want to deal with that but God says I've got to allow it to come your way in order for you to see why you really walk with me Paul looked at it and said most gladly will I rather glory in my infirmities I wish I had some help not do it any way I want to send me five young men five young men run up here real quick I might as well preach like I feel it come on here because I'm gonna drive the devil out of here uh we're gonna go into the other side of this come on up here come on here and help me but Paul looks at his circumstance and he's surrounded by The Trials come on don't sit Dutch come back come on surround me right here I gotta make a point and what he understands now is this I've got heartache financial trouble I got folk against me folk who despise me yeah folk who want to see me dead the people don't like me and now I got a thorn in the flesh it's one thing for it to be outside it's another thing for it to be inside and now I go to God and he won't do what I said my folk don't like me the devil's after me and now I'm talking to God and he won't deliver me can I take it a little further one of the problems we have is no matter what our circumstances are tonight we know God can change it oh yes that's one thing now it's one thing to have somebody with you who does not have the power but want to it's another thing to know somebody who can but who won't when somebody can and they won't then the question of Love arises if somebody can't but would there is no question of love it's just a question of power but when somebody can and won't now it's a question of love that's why all the saints are asking where was God God in all of this well where was God when we crucified his son he was the same place that he was when he gave up Jesus I wish I could talk to you but I don't think you want to hear it tonight where was God that's what we asked because the enemy has challenged us and accused God to us and he's saying now you ought to question your God for letting this come upon you but if God lets it come upon you he's coming inside with you and he's saying you're not going through it yourself but I'm coming on the inside so here's what you got to learn to do give me the power to stay outside but give me power to come inside but don't question me if I'm outside and don't question me when I'm inside and join me when I'm outside and enjoy me when I'm inside cause I'll never leave you [Applause] I wish I had a church give somebody a high five said I've been through it all and I'm still here therefore I will glory because I'm gonna get a chance to see how powerful God is and I'm not gonna tie his hand and say to him the only way I'll feel good is if you deliver me because I want the devil to know I don't have to wait for deliverance I can shout now oh glory to God find my key I'm not gonna stay all night I'm gonna preach like Bishop GE tonight real short and sweet I cannot preach like I feel it though you've got to understand now that this then becomes the place of the manifestation of God's glory because the if not Clause is not a way out it's just as powerful as I know he's able and he will the if not Clause does not let down neither does it give the mind a place of Escape but the if not Clause is as much a place of power as I know he's able and I know he will because what you're saying to the devil is the glory starts with me the glory starts right here and that is if God does it give him glory if he doesn't the glory stops here because devil you can't affect me no matter what God does because I'm already connected ah I feel it in here pull on somebody said we gotta break through touch somebody else say stop living scared because if you it right with God it don't matter how you leave here so you might as well live while you're here the if not Clause defies the devil and says you don't have power to stop me from lifting him up whatever he chooses however he decides whenever he gets ready I'll be right here making my stand that I stand acknowledges that I already have power over the enemy in the middle of my poverty I already have power over the enemy in the middle of my sickness I already have power over the Internet my son is in jail but I already have power over the enemy because I become the opportunity to show the devil God is still real I feel like preaching in here and so the boys looking at Nebuchadnezzar as mean as he is because Nebuchadnezzar at 17 conquered Nineveh at 25 he was World ruler had 50 000 men called scythians the meanest men who ever lived but three fellas looked him in the face and said we are not careful to answer you concerning this matter but the God we serve that somebody say He's Able but somebody else say he will but if not I cut God looser to do whatever he wants to do send me my help back I'm getting ready to close but I need my back here I feel like preaching give somebody high five I said do you have your if not Clause together can I preach just a minute the Devil is a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour and every now and then he walks around your defenses trying to get in looking for a place come on devil look for a place look for somewhere to come in as long as I'm in the safety of God's presence I can have any kind of way or devil you can't do nothing now devil you ain't nothing now I'm shouting because I got a woman in the house I got a man at home I got money in the bank oh what a sanctifying child of God I am because the Lord's presence is keeping the enemy out but real praise real praise real power is when the Lord forsakes a spot because in order for the enemy to come in you have to be God forsaken ah can I take you right there stay right here a minute when you're God forsaken it's God moving from one place to another what God did in the towers is when he forsook the towers because he had to move his presence for the enemy to come in as long as his presence was there the enemy couldn't come in but he looked at a hypocritical Christians who would not get along with each other at a family reunion we have to have a funeral for folk to come to church I wish I could talk to you and so what God did was he forsook a spot and moved to another spot now everybody God is trying to find where is God can I talk to you a minute he forsook Jesus At The Cross in order to take him to Resurrection if there's no forsaking there's no grace is sufficient because he forsakes then he Comforts that he moves you to the next level give somebody high five say I'm going to the next level God has moved and I'm trying to find him when I find him I'll be in my blessing let me preach part three as the devil keeps looking and God forsakes a spot then the enemy comes in but God comes in with him God does not move the situation he keeps the situation there but he comes on the inside and gives me joy I've never ever had gives me experiences I never ever had so I look at my trouble and say thank God for my trouble the more trouble the more anointing the more trouble the more consecration the more trouble the closer I get to God so thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you I feel like preaching in here touch your neighbor say neighbor he'll answer in the fire you don't have to wait he'll step in the fire can I close this message somebody said Nebuchadnezzar look in the fire I thought we'd put in three but there are four of them in there I feel the Holy Ghost Shake somebody's hand said neighbor nobody will see him until you're in the fire then they'll know you got somebody with you that didn't show up until you got in the fire I feel like praising him I feel like lifting him up but somebody said dance in the fire rejoice in the fire lift him up in the fire defy the devil in the fire walk like you should in the fire tear them like you should in the fire give somebody a high five say I know you know him now of the fire didn't pull out your praise the fire didn't stop you from walking can turn you around [Applause] God bless you tonight God bless you tonight touch three people real quick say I don't care how it comes out I'll be praising the name of the Lord I don't care how it comes out I'm getting on a plane in the morning I'm gonna live my life like I should I don't care how it comes out of God I praise it when I'm up my praise it when I'm down praise him when I'm well praise it when I'm sick [Music] whoops yeah I know he's able [Applause] I believe he will but if not I'm still down with you Jesus still down with you [Applause] [Music] [Applause] the challenge I'm closing I wish I could sit in every Pew and talk to you by yourself [Music] in here is going to face a circumstance that you will not be delivered from come on [Music] you have played with you you have played with me too long I've chased every tent in town trying to get free from this thing [Music] and now I've become angry with God really angry with God I had a saint the other day almost had a nervous breakdown because she didn't have an if not clause I can't imagine how God would let this man get this child from me I just knew he was going to deliver [Music] I told her I said to her I said I want to tell you something I said I got a call from a lady somewhere out here in the mid Mid-South her daughter was killed in a car accident she went home to tell her mother that her grandbaby died and her mother died instantly after hearing it she lost both of them one day this and a stone is that she called me to pray to the god who allowed it to happen [Music] she called me for the person who is not connected to God how could he let it happen would mean I don't want to talk to him the person who's connected what she is saying is The God Who allowed it I'm going to him to give me strength to handle it if not releases God to display a Deliverance that we could have never imagined because it's four people at least who didn't know how it was coming out [Music] Shadrach missing in Mexico they didn't know how it was coming out and neither did never exist the only one who knew how it was coming out was God and he set himself up in a way that everybody had to Bow and say now the god you served uh he's the real one oh I feel like shouting in this house I got the clothes [Applause] I gotta close but folk never measure your strength by what you have Jesus said to them said you all should at least believe me from my work sake [Music] I mean look at my works but when the Centurion noted how he handled the cross [Music] he said surely surely this must be the Son of God when I look at you [Applause] and I see I see people who don't have what other people have I see people who you walk in the hospital rooms and you lay hands on and you wish they'd get up sometimes you walk in there apprehensive because you just want the right thing to say and walk in there just got out of a Ferrari 550 Marinella living the two million dollar house hanging over the cliff and you walk in there and you'd want to know what do I say to this mother to this boy to this girl to this choir member who was in a car accident and the spine is snapped what do I say and when you walk in you see the strength of God emitting from their faces and you thought you went there to encourage them [Music] and they're talking to you about the greatness and the joy of the Lord and how wonderful he is and you're saying you must not be sick to yourself and then you realize that you can be sick in your body but but healthy in your spirit you cannot have a dime in the bank be a multi-millionaire in your spirit [Music] and now I understand when the psalmist says I Will Bless The Lord at all times his prayers shall continue to be in my mouth [Music] so I say to you [Music] if you get married he's able I know he will but if not I'll go sit in the movies by myself [Music] I want you to get one person by both hands tonight we're going to release God to show us the greatest miracle that we have ever had [Music] sick and if it doesn't ever go away I came in here tonight with an herniated disc in my neck hurts horribly if he heals it fine if not I'm gonna preach through it in it around it over it do my will do his will you're not serving God for the fish and the loaves a new thing has happened now our every way of life has been challenged [Music] now salvation has to take us further than this life for in if in this life only we have hope in Christ we are all men most miserable the only way to defeat people who are not afraid to die is for you not to be afraid to die too [Music] and the only way not to be afraid to die is to know you got it right with God I thought he I thought the Lord found joy in the death of the Saints yeah I want to be with Jesus but I don't want to go right now I'm here to tell you once you resolve the issue of life and death you can live now because you can't defeat an enemy who's not scared to die because you're fighting to live and he's fighting to die but yet you have the greater promise [Music] because somebody died that you might live not just on Earth but eternally the only way you can live abundantly is when you've settled the issue about dying so devil I got news for you I will not change my lifestyle because I already got it right with God yeah I'll walk in the fire and he'll be with me in the fire Department I feel your strength coming back I feel your power coming back I feel your deliverance coming back yes the god you saw this album and he will [Applause] but you gotta if not clause I'm praising him right now Somebody's gotta go face the bank somebody's got to go deal with the lawyer somebody's got to go before the judge somebody needs an operation laid out on the table Hall up to your God and say I know you're able I believe you will but if not I just want to praise you while I lay here I just want to lift you up while I lay him oh he'll show you a miracle he said You release me you didn't stop praising me when it was over but you praise me before you knew how you were going to come out you have made the devil a liar s Lord adventure oh Lord I preacher then my sister strengthened my brother strengthen my husband strengthened my wife strengthen my children strengthened my mother strengthened my daughter I don't know who you're praying with tonight but call on God to strengthen them strengthen you strengthen me strengthen us bring us back bring our minds back bring our Spirits back open the doors let us walk
