31 years ladies and gentlemen and i'mma tell you right now i could not think of a better person a more deserving leader than bishop david g evans we have been celebrating him all weekend long even starting last weekend but tonight i'm telling you as a close as it relates to the music ministry at least i wanted to bring in somebody that loves bishop david g evans and when i called her to do it her first answer without hesitation was yes let's get it done ladies and gentlemen she needs no introduction she is the voice for the 31st anniversary of bishop david g evans it is miss vanessa bell armstrong hey bethany family guess what i came to stop by just to help you celebrate bishop evans 31st anniversary your son kind of vision and i came because i heard that you love peace i call him for being our help whenever we need it and father we give you praise this evening because you have been good to us you're being good to us and you will be good to us and we give you thanks for that you said in everything give thanks and even in our circumstance we are giving you praise and father i pray that you have blessed the service this evening that lord you let the worship and the word transform somebody save somebody this evening bring a backslider back home to you connect someone to the church we pray that you will bless our bishop's heart that lord you continue to add to his life years and substance and all those things that are needed we pray that you would supernaturally bless him in the name of jesus we thank you for this moment and we appreciate you for the gift that you [Applause] watch it [Applause] watch it [Music] [Applause] praise the lord what an incredible time we're having today at this 31st anniversary and i'm so glad that you've taken the time to join us once again as we look back over the 31 years and see just how good god has been excited about our guests and i'm excited about this time that we get to establish a flow the bible says in the new testament if you believe on me like the scripture has said out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water revelation came to me one day that god has given us the responsibility not only having dominion and authority in the earth part of that dominion and authority is to establish a heavenly flow a kingdom flow on the earth if you believe on me like the scripture has said out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water so god says to us he inhabits our praises so when we praise him there is an exchange there's a flow established in heaven that if we worship god not only does worship move his hand but worship moves our heart so along with this dominion and authority along with this image and likeness comes the responsibility for setting the atmosphere setting the season if you will moving heaven on earth one of those times is when we give the bible says give and it shall be given to you flow is established bring me the tithe into the storehouse and the offering and see what i'll do i'll open up the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing a flow will be established god puts that in our control at our command within the realm of our authority so when we get ready to give in just a moment [Music] when we get ready to establish this flow this biblical flow that is established by faith obedience and position when we release heaven releases floors established whatsoever you bind on earth whatsoever loose on earth the cooperative response will be had in heaven so right now i want you to think about the flow you want to establish we're going to bring the lord the tithe we're going to bring him that offering because they originally belong to him and as you go to the icon today [Music] and as you sow the seed called the tithe and an offering as you establish a flow because you need to understand every seed has a voice it calls in the harvest there's that flow that only your harvest can respond to the voice of your seed the voice of your faith causes things in heaven to shift on your behalf so i want you to go to the icon right now sow that tithe in that offering be honest with god don't give god leftovers don't give god what's left after everything else has come out and gone into our accounts and we've we've satisfied every alphabet 503b 502a all those other alphabets we satisfy i want you to think about the goodness of god the gratitude that you have for him the appreciation you have for him as he provides and blesses i'm so glad he's not just a god of provision but he is a god that blesses you go to the icon let's do this happen from heaven to earth thank you for this anointing that makes it all possible in our lives the holy spirit makes that connection with heaven possible allows us to establish that flow and in that flow of the anointing if we believe on you like the scripture has said out of our bellies out of the place where the kingdom is where the source is the promises reside shall flow rivers [Music] so it's no longer just a matter of bringing it from outside in now child of god you're moving things from inside the kingdom out so i want to bless god for you today father i thank you for the faith culmination of this 31st anniversary day i met jamal probably dr bryant excuse me i met him about 25 years ago somewhere in that 20 to 25 year range and i had watched him from a distance and [Music] asked him to come long before we were known for anything except being a church he consented to come and i remember was an afternoon service evening service similar to this one [Music] and he came in his own unique way his own unique style bless the house blessed the people and gave glory to god there is no imitating his mind the way he sees the text and the culture the scripture and the culture how he blends them and how he makes that work there's only one jamal harrison bryant so once again we invite him back we invited him and he decided he would come god led him to come once again to help us celebrate these 31 years we've seen each other grow we've seen each other go through valleys and rivers and storms and climb mountains and get victories we've seen each other go through what i call the vicissitudes of life and yet god has been wonderfully faithful so i want you to pay attention your full attention focused on what god is about to do [Music] as we hear once again not just the using as a subject i'm putting in a two weeks notice i'm putting in two weeks notice i want you to type that on the screen if you feel that thing i'm i'm putting in two weeks notice history will record that covet 19 has completely changed the world and if you're honest it has completely changed you the pandemic has caused people to reassess their positions in this pandemic people are questioning their careers and many are re-examining their marriages research analysts discovered out of a poll of four thousand that three out of five workers plan to learn a new skill three out of five workers plan on learning a new skill three out of five want to gain qualifications that are new or they want to change their occupation altogether the demand for talent is higher now than it has ever been i need you in this studio and even at home to declare out loud they need me people in this pandemic have had a taste of work life balance and are no longer wanted to be force-fed agonizing commutes nobody has the tolerance for inner office politics or participating in tasks that have no meaning or bring you no fulfillment therefore there are a flurry of employees who are sitting watching me in this moment and having the filing cabinet of their own subconscious a two-week notice that they're waiting to send out they don't know when they're going to do it they just know that they have to do it the majority of you listening to me are going to be nothing like your parents because you will not spend the balance of your life working for one corporation the two-week notice concept was developed at a time when leaving a job was rare for some the only way you could move up was you had to wait for somebody to move out 75 and 6 says promotion doesn't come from the east or the west but promotion comes from the lord the lord had you to log on on this day and i don't know when you will watch this when you will see it when you will hear it but whenever it is that you encounter this message god sent us as a subtle reminder that you are not waiting for a man to move you're waiting on a move of god and a promotion is getting ready to come for somebody who has been mishandled and overlooked and taken for granted they didn't realize how much they needed you but they're going to realize that they cannot function without you promotion is coming i want to say that in the atmosphere promotion is coming i want to say that until it pulls on somebody's spirit elevation is coming a new office is coming a new title is coming a new position is coming a new offer is coming in the past the two-week notice was the time needed by accounting to administer payroll and cut the final paycheck without disrupting the cycle this predated unions this was before states offered employee protection however with current technology when all of the paperwork has been appropriately filled out it shouldn't take two weeks it should just take an hour for them to give you your money i declare this over your life and i want you to lift up your hand because i felt the holy spirit say it to me to give to you let there be no delays for every dollar you are owed every piece of money that has your name on it every settlement every arrears every vacation time every insurance claim every past due debt every payout every child support every alimony every lawsuit every refund every unfulfilled contract every core pronouncement i declare over every lifted hand it will return to you here's your shout in the next two weeks that i declare that checks are going to be released into your bank account they are being sent out tomorrow morning you're gonna check your account status and you're gonna see a bump and not know where it came from god says i'm gonna restore back to you everything that is rightfully yours and it ain't gonna take a long time for it to happen but those of you that have uncanny faith god said watch what i do in 14 days watch how it is that i level out the playing field watch how i give it to you press down shake it together and run it over i have so much faith on this pronouncement that i want you at the risk of sounding crazy to declare out loud over every negative sub fault i give it two weeks come on i need you to say it out loud that that that's how my faith is set up i give it two weeks watch and see what god is gonna do i give it two weeks they swore they were never gonna pay me back but i give it two weeks i ain't chasing after nobody i give it two weeks i'm sick of having to negotiate what my worth is i give it two weeks and anything can happen in the next two weeks of your life there's an organization that i've been studying called the broad group the broad group is based out of china and they're revolutionizing commercial building under the leadership of their ceo named zhang yoo they are challenging traditional constructing practices and pushing the entire industry they built a 15-storey hotel it is called the ark hotel 15 story hotel called the ark hotel hear this and in china they built this 15 story hotel in a week people are staying there right now while you're watching me after they finish that i want you to know just last year the year before covet finally hit they built a 30 story building called the t-30 tower and they did that 30-story building hear this in two weeks in an interview with the mckinsey group the president and ceo a maverick amongst businessmen opined that organizations are woefully underperforming by acting stupid in intelligent times he declared that ceo did that our actions are archaic when the environment is futuristic he said the reason why industries are falling behind is because there has not been a change in mindset when there's been a change in technology that people are handcuffed to tradition when the key is in innovation there are some things that god is giving your hand to build but you are intimidated by it because you're looking at your grandparents time schedule what it took for them to do it it is not going to take you the same amount of time it is not going to take you long to do something that will last long i better say it again it is not going to take you long to do something that is going to last long your spirit needs to hear the tenor of your own voice would you lay hands on yourself and declare this out loud repeat after me it's not going to take me long come on say it like you believe it it's not going to take me long to do something that will last long come on say it again it's not going to take me long to do something that's going to last long i was um i was stumbling through the hr files in the bible and i stumbled across the profile of a low-level worker his name is uh nehemiah he's not a prophet he's not a pastor he's not a priest he's not a king he's been working um as a butler for 20 years at the white house and one day while he's at work his brother sends him a screenshot of his old neighborhood and he's looking at how dilapidated his community has become and he's in distress because where he's from is uh now a lot of abandoned houses where he's from there uh broke down cars sitting in driveways where he's from there's a food desert where he's from you can't find the police where he's from he is seeing that uh trash is just strewn about everywhere and yet he's got a comfortable position at the white house he is convicted in that moment because prior he is gloating at his own individual success without acknowledging community failure and it starts eating adam if he would have never seen it he would have been okay but now it's gnawing on them he can't find joy when um when now he gets to wear fancy suits every day he can't find peace when he's got a secure government job that comes with a pension and benefits and two weeks vacation he's not sure what to do because everybody is proud of him because he made it out the projects but still there's something empty i'm preaching to you because you have found yourself in the precarious predicament that what impresses other people depresses you so you try to get happy about it you try to act like you're excited but deep down on the inside you know something is missing but you don't know what it is the conflict of not wanting to appear as an in-grade the struggle of being much further than where people in your family have gone but knowing is not enough the tension that this is what you prayed for but now you know there's something else and you don't know what it is had you not seen it you could have gone on in comfortability and now just by chance you are re-evaluating everything when there are people who would rob steal and kill to be in your position and they got no idea another pair of shoes won't give me satisfaction another bag will still leave me barren another deposit still will not develop who i am what do you do when you're satisfied and called what do you do when your assignment is in obstruction to what it is you planned what is it that you do when you've got a burden hear this for something that's not your business what do you do when you're called to something that doesn't match your training what do you do when it is so heavy on your life that you are fully equipped to walk away from what you're paid for what do you do and uh that's what happened to nehemiah he tries to push it to the back of his mind he tries not to deal with it he he don't even call his brother back after this exchange he tried to go on acting as if he had never seen it that he had never felt it i'm going to say this to you sitting on that couch i want to say this to you while you're preparing breakfast i'm going to say this to you while you're half listening doing errands and walking around the house there's something in nehemiah that i wanted you to see in nehemiah chapter 2. he feels this burden but never heard god's voice there's no evidence that there is a calling that this is not manifest from netflix he don't hear nothing what do you do when you fill the poll but you don't even know if it's god what do you do when you're not certain whether this is something i should be doing in my spare time or this is something that i should be devoting all of my time for that's where nehemiah is looking like you trying to do his job and he's pouring wrestling for the king the king is about to drink it and he looks at the butler and he says to him i that your spirit is off i notice you ain't yourself lately i notice that you don't have that same charisma you don't have that pep in your step you used to love this job what's wrong with you now i need you to see this about nehemiah he he didn't take a personal leave didn't take a sick day nehemiah is more like you than a lot of people you read about in the bible because nehemiah serves while being sad a lot of you are in this same place because you are a functional workaholic that you're able to produce what is expected of you you are still meeting every deadline you are still meeting every expectation you are still in the top percentage your performance has not slacked but on the inside you know this ain't right i don't know how you mastered doing your job with no joy i i don't know how you were able to do it and to sustain it this long that you have a uncanny capacity to help people while you're hurting i i can't believe that it still hasn't poured out of your lips i hate this i can't believe i'm still doing it i don't even understand god why hear this for father y'all in this room god why did you make me good at what i don't enjoy be easier for me to transition um if i didn't know how to do it if i had a problem do it if it was a conflict but i can do this in my sleep and he said that's part of the problem is you have learned how to do it without me that you no longer lean on my a grace but you do it out of your own gift and if you are in something that does not require me it is not assigned by me i will always give you a job i don't know who's gonna hit but ain't nobody gonna shout over this i will always give you a job of inconvenience i will always give you a job that is a burden i will always give you a job that will stress you out i will always give you a job that will make you not be able to sleep at night that's how you know it's me in it he says how are you serving and you say it the king asked him a question that i um unfortunately have the responsibility of asking you what do you want if god can let you do anything let you function in any role hold any position occupy any space what do you want what you want to do i know nobody's asked you this in a long time you ain't had a guidance counselor since you were 17. what you want to do with your life maybe that's too far out what do you want to do for the rest of this year what can i have you do that would bring you satisfaction and the bible says in verse number five that nehemiah then prayed he saw the pictures but he needed to be clear this is not what i want i want what god wants for me i want you to lift up that hand because i am praying with you and for you over the next two weeks that god will make it undeniably clear what you are supposed to be doing i am praying by faith over the next two weeks god will give you for some of you the unfortunate news that you can no longer do what you have been doing i pray that god give you undeniable signs about the path that you are supposed to take and the toll that will be required for you to pray and i don't know how you feel about it but i want you to clap your hands if you know you serve a prayer answering god he prayed and god answered him in one verse and as soon as he got the answer he said send me back home hear this to build something that's what i am believing for you that god is going to so equip and empower you that you'll be able to leave a legacy in the area you were raised in even if you don't live there anymore i can't hear anybody in here i'm believing that god is gone so bless you that you're gonna be able to bless the church you were raised in the school you were raised in the community that you were raised in god i need you to so anoint me for some of us because i want to help but i don't want to ever live there again but god do something for me so i never forget the bridge that brought me over send me back home not to buy something but to build something i want to go back home i want to go back and do something at ground zero because i know what it's like to have nothing i've been in that environment where i had to struggle where i had my back up against the ground god there ain't no way in the world god don't bless me with all of this and i can't make sure that the people that come behind me don't have a better way of life i've got to be able to build something because i saw my own mother struggle single and i i don't want no other kids to have to go without and have to live from house to house and every school year in a different school district i got to do something for alcoholics because i saw too many yet for drug addicts because i saw too many for domestic violence because i saw too much god you got to help me build something and if you help me build something i promise to give you all the glory nehemiah asked for the strength to build it and never ask god to license him he has no experience in construction he is not a mason you're not saying nothing to me but he left a job he knew how to do to answer an assignment that he didn't know how to do and i know i'm talking to somebody in here god said will you trust me for what you don't know how to do real will you believe me for something that does not match your skill set and i know i was rude i was presumptuous i was assuming but i made a covenant with god this week on your behalf i said to god knowing you were going to be in this service knowing you were going to be watching knowing you were going to be online i said god it took you one week to build the earth so because i'm not you give me two weeks to build something else i'm talking to somebody in this room somebody online somebody who's streaming god i know who you are there is nobody like you it took you one day to create light so give me two days to get out of my dark place it took you one day to create the sky so give me two days to convince myself that the sky is not the limit it took you one day to create trees and seas and plants but give me two days to figure out what i need to climb what i need to swim through and where i need to plant a seed it took you one day to create the sun the moon and the stars but give me two days to not think locally but to begin to think globally and universally it took you one day to create creatures both in the ski and in the sky give me two days to get rid of leeches and parasites and everything that's sucking me dry it took me one day to create me but give me two weeks to change me i gotta tell you today i am giving out a two-week notice and i'm not giving it to my job i'm not giving it to my haters i'm not giving it to the devil but i am serving myself a two-week notice i got two weeks to stop doubting myself i got two weeks to stop believing in myself i've got two weeks to remind myself that i'm worthy of the best i day to look at somebody and tell them give me two weeks i don't look the best now but we've been making door for a night but joy is coming in the morning tell somebody two weeks i cried about it now but i'm a shout about it later i said i cried about it now but i'm a shout about it later look at your neighbor and say neighbor take a good look at me this is the brokest i've ever been the most frustrated i've ever been the loneliest i've ever been the unhappiest i ever been but give me two weeks and i can't wait till the battle is over but i gotta shout like it's already here give the devil i'll run for the money and tell him you had two years to kill me two years to drive me crazy two years to make me lose my mind but i'm still here after all that i've been through i still got joy i still got praise i still got a thanksgiving i know it's the last sunday in july but the second sunday in august if you see me shouting shout behind me if you see me jumping jump behind me [Music] hey in two weeks the best season of your life is here in two weeks your enemies will apologize in two weeks every bill will be paid [Music] hey that's all it's gonna take that's all it's gonna take bye-bye to my stress self bye-bye to my sleepless self bye-bye to my desperate self two weeks two weeks two weeks how much you put that two up in the air for me come on come on put it up for me i'm giving myself a two-week notice to get myself together because i can't you know i said i'm giving myself two weeks to get over this foolishness two weeks [Music] hallelujah real real quick just type it right there give me two weeks give me two [Music] how many want to pray for what you're doing now i want to pray for what you're about to do next lord i pray that um you will help us recognize milk lord help us recognize milk because milk is healthy as long as it's in season but after the expiration date it spoils everything in the house god help us release what used to be healthy if it has now become toxic bless us to be in that which is sustainable that which will make a difference i pray the lord over every lifted hand i don't know where they are whether they're in jamaica whether they're in new jersey don't know whether they're in wyoming but i pray that you will answer their prayer in the next two weeks and you'll do it with signs and wonders and those of you who are looking for a supernatural move of god and you believe he's gonna do it in the next two weeks i want you to give god an arousing applause of thanksgiving come on come on come on come on wow what an awesome service we just experienced from the worship uh from the prayers for the preaching of the word of god with pastor of ryan we are so glad that you have joined us this evening we appreciate you all for uh standing in and making this day a success um at the philippians church the church at philippi was one of paul's greatest supporters and paul said because you have supported me the lord will supply all your need according to his riches in glory as them that lord you do an immediate work in them with a sign that shows them that as they sow this evening that you're beginning to supply their needs we're holding on to that scripture that you will supply all of our needs according to your riches in glory as we support the man of god and the work of god we're trusting and believing that you are going to do a great work in us and through us continue to bless our bishop continue to strengthen him and i pray that you continue to strengthen us as people to continue to lift him up in prayer lift him up with our resources lift him up with our strength for the ministry i give you praise right now and i declare a blessing over each person that's participating now those that are doing the best that they can those that are so in the hundreds
