it was seven years ago in the late 80s that i got a surprise phone call from the brazilian bishop who then was bishop j.o patterson senior yeah and i got a call from his chief address he says can you fly in here uh the bishop wants to see you and says well sure you tell me what day so he gave me a date and i flew to memphis tennessee and they picked me up and took me to his mansion none of the brazilian bishops he took me to his mansion there and i sat in the living room with the presiding bishop and he says for austin i'm going to do a documentary on the life of bishop charles harrison mason and what can you what can you do i said well i could produce a book i could write a book and the book would be entitled a root out of a dry ground that's a nice air too yeah a rudolph driver and he said ah that's awesome i'm physically challenged because he didn't know he was gonna die next year wow he didn't realize he was that close to death but he said you know uh i don't know how many days i got left can you do something quicker i said yeah i could do a documentary like a video uh presentation he says well do that one that would be faster and that's where we have this product and dr aston hernan and his wife uh myrna they were my primary uh participants on the comedian and the one person we thought of who could provide the music background to this was the professor i'm not talking about he just did some stuff that he heard somebody else do he came up with creative creative chords creative music and even his yes board is his creation and since then i've heard somebody singing it and they didn't give them any credit for it they came from him and we have the evidence right here charles harrison may son [Music] look what god has done through bishop c h mason see the mighty work that has begun he put god first and he started a church and he gave his life to the church of god in christ about charles harrison son look what god has done through bishop c.h may sir [Music] see the mighty work that has begun you know he put god first and he started a church and he gave his life to the church of god [Music] we must as holiness people and people who trust god must begin to let our fruits speak for us we must declare war on sin in the street we must go out there in the midst of it and stand up as a beacon light and never turn our head on suffered humanity and that was bishop mason that was his life in christ and when the lord called him he said yes [Applause] [Music] he said yes yes [Applause] [Music] yes he said yes he said yes when god chose him he said yes lord yes lord yes lord yes lord [Music] bishop charles harrison gave his life to the church [Music]
