good morning brothers and sisters this is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice let us be glad in it last Lord's Day was Resurrection Sunday we had a great time coming to you and presenting a message for you and we want to do the same today let's seek a word from the Lord but let's also have a word of Prayer gracious master we are eternally grateful for this another expression of your love we thank you that you brought us from our earliest existence even down to this present moment now Lord we ask that you would consecrate this your humble servant that we might speak a word that would cause some woman a child to fall out with the ways of the world and come crying what shall we do Lord while we bow in your presence please look to those individuals who have been stricken by this conflict that virus that we're going through and Lord for those first responders those individuals that are serving the community within the medical field and in any area of Hipps who ask you to bless go god bless you this is a wonderful wonderful day for receiving the blessings of God we're blessed in the city we're blessed in the field we're blessed when we come we bless when we go you know a lot of times we sang those precious songs and we get ourselves all confused and thinking that that means that we don't ever have any bad time but I stopped to tell you and I've said it over and over again yes good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people but we are his people so today we want to talk a little bit about living in the will of God over and over we ask the question what if God is not happy with the way we praise him what if God has not happy with the way we serving what if God is unhappy and not happy well I'll tell you somebody told me one time that happy wife means happy life why is it that we can think that's relevant and not think that we ought to make God happy we were created in the image and the likeness of God if I could take you back to the Garden of Eden just for a minute when God knelt down in the dust of the earth and breathed into man's muscle the breath of life man became a living soul but man was created for the glory of God we need to glorify Him and if we're going to glorify him then we must live in harmony within we need to do what is pleasing in his sight and if we do what's pleasing in his sight then we'll have relationship with him I won't talk to you about the relationship that God had with mankind in the Garden of Eden God had a precious relationship with mankind in fact the Bible says that he visited him in the cool of the evening well if you want to be visited with God you got to be right because God cannot look upon sin he cannot have fellowship with unrighteousness don't you know that God is a holy God he is so holy that he can't have a fellowship with sin but he suggests God he said I would that none should perish but that all would come to the knowledge of God of repentance so he doesn't want you to perish he wants you to live a righteous life he wants you to live in harmony with him he wants to be there when you stumble he wants to be there when you fall but you have to obey Him you have to trust him you have to know that He is God and besides him there's none other little thought today is gonna come from the book of Romans my Wednesday night Bible study we've been going through Romans for some time now and the more we go through Romans the happier I am about being in the fellowship and relationship with the Lord so but in the twelfth chapter of Romans we have some information there that lets us know that we want to be in the will of God and God wants us to be in his will I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto Him which is your reasonable service another translation says there is your spiritual service but let me just see what are we talking about the service rendered to the Lord is we bring him a sacrifice what is the sacrifice we bring ourselves in my praise team say we bring the sacrifice of cream and I know that if we bring the sacrifice of praise then what we do is to honor him honor him isn't our praise and in our everyday walk I had a lot of praise team members and a lot of people who who believe that if they can just praise them on Sunday morning if they can just show up and show out with the blessings and talent that they have they've done all that they need to do but I think not we are also praising with our lives we oughta praise him with the way we treat our wives we oughtta praising with the way we treat one another to praise God means to honor him praise Him in the morning praise Him at noontime and praising when the Sun go down both in information to the Romans he said I beg you brother yea I beseech you brethren I urge you brethren I encourage you let's let's use that word I encourage you therefore by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice do you know that that's what Jesus did that day when he went up the hill called God and when he went up the hill of Calvary he suffered and he bled and died he presented his body as a sacrifice for you and for me if he presented his body as a sacrifice for us we ought to present our bodies as living sacrifices holy and acceptable to him I think we can do that all we have to do is do trusting and do what he asked us to do let's listen to this be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind listen don't don't be like the world the world is frightened to death now over this virus the world is stammering and willing to do whatever it takes to escape but I'm gonna tell you that the only way for us to really escape is to be in Christ if we're in him we are faith I stopped today that we are new creation old things have done away behold all things have become new doesn't matter what happens in this situation somebody said well you just act like you don't care well I do care I care about other people and I care about myself I don't want to suffer the virus I don't want to be one of those individuals and my conditions that I already have have the virus and have my children and loved ones upset and hurt and I don't want that but I believe that God is able and he can keep me from that if I will present myself to him dignity there's a story that just comes to mind the Bible says that the sons of God went up before the Lord and Satan also went up you know what they went up for to present themselves to the Lord but guess what the Lord focused on just one of those individual he focused on the wind called the élysée by the Lucifer and yeah signe it said where you been he said to and fro seeking whom I may divide so we understand that Satan's desires to steal kill and to destroy but not Jesus Jesus's desires to save to the uttermost so we need to be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind you know as children of Satan then we have the propensity to do evil toward one another but as children of God we have love in our hearts one for the other for I say through the grace given unto me to every man among you not to think of himself more highly than he are you know what keeps us in trouble same three strikes no one in baseball let's say three strikes you're out the lust of the eye the lust of the flesh and the pride of life these three things will separate us from God and will cause us to lose fellowship less than the eye and lust of the flesh and the pride of life I started to give my description of that lust of the eyes seeing things you've got no business wit and lust of the flesh is creep craving it with our yard and the left hand and the pride of life is thinking you deserve it but that's not the point we're still trying to find out what is the will of God for our life you know I know what the will of God for my life is to leave me and depend on him to trust him and then to do good to other individuals if God listen oh my goodness feel like preaching for a minute now if God has been good to you and he saved you out of trials tribulations out of heartaches and pain he brought you out of the darkness into this marvelous light don't you know that we ought to have the desire to see others come out o come out from amongst the world be separate from them final thing I must say here in that Twitter chapter is verse 5 so being many of one body in Christ Jesus and everyone members one of the other well what I want you to understand is we can't assemble this Lord's Day morning but we can come together we can come together in one mind on one Accord we can believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God we can believe that he is able to do above and beyond all that we think are magic say for each of you saying the same thing over and over again well God is not not a guy that's close to it he's not trying to change so that to meet the conditions of the world he's the same today yesterday and forever the same God that brought Israel through the Red Sea is the same guy that died yonder on cavalry so that we would have eternal life same God that Shadrach Meshach and Abednego out of the fiery furnace same God that delivers me I stop to tell you right now we are the people of God and he wants us to to live a life that showed that we love him we need to be devoted to one another and brotherly love I don't want another above yourself never neither be liking and zeal you know what seriousness is the willingness to serve I'm willing to go all the way my daddy used to say I'm not only willing to give but I'm willing to give all that I have I seen him do it over and over again sometimes we are selfish and God can't use us because we're trying to hold on and make provisions for ourself it is the will of God to lean and depend on him it is the will of God for us to trust and obey it is the will of God for us to understand what he's saying when he says thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all of your heart your mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself what he saying is that if you want to keep the law if you want to please him if you want to be in right relationship with him then take this lesson and let it be a part of your life love God and love one another share with God's people who are in need practice hospitality give you shall receive press down shaken together and running over you know today is the Lord's Day first Corinthians 16 when said now concerning the connection let every one of you lay by
