hey guys today bria tacos but we don't have all day to stew that meat so today we're gonna make it the cheater way stay tuned all right really quick let's go over the list of ingredients and while i'm doing that we can explain the method behind the badness all right traditionally you got your own cilantro and lime onion cilantro and lime we've got a corn tortillas but this is the kicker instead of stewing your meat all day whether you smoke it braise it it doesn't matter who has the time anymore one of our favorite dishes is this right here and i love putting them on my flat top so i thought how can we cheat how can we speed up the whole process boom ground beef we're gonna use a little taco seasoning then we'll make a little sauce we use barbacoa a little enchilada sauce we've got some beef stock on the flat top grill got a big old mound of cheese for our tortillas let's get to cooking all right first things first i've got a skillet here and it's got one cup of beef broth that i found this at my grocery store we've used a concoction before but i've braised the meat i smoked my pork butt for like four hours and then i made this humongous concoction of all the flavors that i thought would go well together and then we covered it and then stood it for another what like six hours so it's like a 10-hour cook and i'm thinking man who has that much time anymore so i found this stuff at the grocery store i use about half of it okay so this is uh 12 ounces so about six ounces about 50 50. all right now that that's there i've got i'm gonna use about a half a can of enchilada sauce now this is gonna be our dipping liquid for our tacos okay about a pound and a half of ground beef right on the flat top [Music] during this method i'm not draining the fat the fat is what you get the tortilla in to get that crunch so today one way to keep the fat and the flavor because fat is flavor thank you good lord of mercy this thing is child proof [Music] i'm gonna put my taco seasoning right on it before it cooks all the way through all right guys so literally five minutes we're already done so this is what i'm gonna do i'm gonna add a little bit of this sauce right into the beef and we're gonna start one more time but i just want that sauce to drip down in there and really make this beef pop okay just like that we're at the grocery store two days ago and i really want to do a pork butt that's why we did that video about how to smoke your pork butt because we use it all the time for stuff like this we just don't film it instead of a gun we ate the whole thing the kids were like that i want some more pork that i want some more pork i'm like hey we gotta use this for videos they're like well we want poor food pork so i gave them pork and that's what sprung the idea like i want my dang tacos how can i do my tacos without doing a whole pork butt again plus that sounded good was 30 dollars with the price going up who's paying 30 for a pork butt you see that grease right there you see that that's that beef fat grease see it right there see all that grease right there hitting the sides so all we're doing is dipping our tacos i love the flavor of the tacos dip like just absorbed so don't be scared to dunk it in there so i guess now that everything's quieted down i guess we could address the elephant in the room all you're going to do is just load these bad boys up with the cheese that you like remember this is the cheddar style so there's some cheddar some cheddar in there but this is just queso cheese and what you want to do i like a lot of cheese obviously you can add as much as little as you like i'll show you guys real quick so we've almost been thinking about rebranding we've reached out to you guys a lot of people commented i appreciate taking your time out why you subscribe what do you think i should make so on and so forth well obviously the evidence is so clear that the flat top views is where it's at so all we did was just switch the name from the charcoal king to the flat stock king and that's that's where we're at today so not really a lot to discuss or anything like that just we just thought it'd be a good branding name a good time to switch and uh pretty happy about it we're still gonna be making stuff on the grill i love my grill you guys know you guys all like my grill all right look the cheese is melting look at all those crispies look at all that that's what that sauce does and just come in here now look i know it's not authentic and that's not the point of the video the video is to get that craving when you ain't got eight hours if you want to go to the store and buy one of those pre-made pork packs that's already shredded that's a good way to do it just with a little kiss of flavor just in case we didn't have enough the first time now look from start to finish how long did this take oh less than 10 minutes less than 10 minutes start to finish we could have filmed the whole thing [Music] that doesn't take long typically as soon as you're done flipping look at that look at all that gooey cheese look at all that now you can't tell me that is the winner winner winner [Music] look at that that you're excited for tacos call god how could you not load it with cheese look at all them now tell me in 12 minutes that you can't come out here from start to finish and have yourself a grand old time i know they're gonna be good yeah they're gonna be good now this is where the tradition comes in little onion obviously you guys can change it as much as you want heck throw some sour cream on for the kids whatever floats your fancy but the pop of the lime is what gets it you save a little that juice that you made use as a kind of like a dipping sauce i don't know if you can ever get enough of the sauce do you miss the pork or the beef stew no not for 12 minutes this is god that's good it's the sauce it's salam it's the fresh onion i mean everything about it that what we like you're not missing nothing nothing matter of fact i could actually say this is right up there with it you ain't cheating on nothing except time because you ain't lacking the flavor and you definitely
