Big Equipment Co. Sponsored Us A Hood! Plus We Walk Around The Burnt Big Buds

what's up everyone so I'm not doing a livestream cuz the cellphone service here really stinks but uh we're here our big equipment and they gave us a hood we just finished taking it off this series three story as it came from it came from Texas and so it had some rust on it too but it's gonna be a great hood for us I think really make it work there you're awesome so these two came from Texas and I think the plan is Ron is gonna turn this one or use this as a parts tractor to make other ones so that's why they decided I was given for the let the donor hood go to us and that's gonna have a little work done to it and go back but uh always fun seeing seen the old equipment and so over here probably negative ten degrees right now so it was at or in the cold overall that's a really good convention just a couple dents the front has some rust damage around the edges but we can fix all that that's not an issue the fact is we cut the majority of the hood in one piece and it's a regional big blood hunt so we'll see if we can salvage the grille build front end here couple lights out make them square it'll be awesome so this is the sad part this is the series 3 650 I believe is what it was that got torched and we almost took this hood fortunately Ron let us take one of the other donor hoods because this hood has just warped all over he's just got dents dings the easiest side of it right here just warped out it's collapsed yeah the tops all caved in the side of here when it was fine this is all pretty heavy iron but it's just seen better days and the engine got destroyed I see they out the oil pan off this was probably getting worked on when it was in there unless well you know what the oil pan was probably a magnesium or aluminum that's probably why it melted off like that ICS different in our cars have the square tubing that one me this is a newer series 3 they just got demolished fire is pretty destructive this thing was about mint condition when they were working on it from what I heard it was a just beautiful tractor that's just so sad but that's not that's unfortunately the fate of fire but the flame on this is still good they built the structure out of this out of some heavy iron I mean look at the thickness of this so this tractor will probably see farm work again someday it's gonna have to get new axles I'm sure or at least all-new the cab's gonna have to probably be the frame of the cabs probably okay but yeah and then this is a series 3 parts tractor that they were using for parts I'm pretty sure is what I read look at that radiator my god it's suede does this you know just I pulled apart from the top cap oh man the oil pan off that's gone these engines are a fully functioning 1150 Cummins tuned up and everything you know you're pushing twenty-five thirty thousand dollars you know for a used one obviously they don't make these blocks anymore but quite like this they make a newer style the qsx I think or some Cummins made that Kathy was wrong enough so that's just a really sad thing interesting how it's got the black primer still in here I don't know if I didn't get his hot in this area oh man what a day this one didn't have a transmission fortunately but I'm sure the transmission that was in this was in the building when I bought it and this is that series floor that was just gorgeous this I did warp the tank a little bit in it it's got they can bend that yeah that it's dinner those cylinders are destroyed this is the first time really walking around a series for very much I've never really been around this these tractors you know they're very similar but they did redo all the hinge system here it's all different it's got a twin disc in it as well looks like I like the ladder on these Howie they the side of the fenders like that the fuel tank and the rear fenders looks almost like a versatile ladder to be honest and this cab looks just like that other one I bet it was nice when it was new and I better do nice when rebuilding our windshield that's the goal house souvenir I guess huh good it just absolutely came apart it just demolish that's one thing I can tell is the series for out a lot but series three had a little heavier food and fuel tanks than the four just from the just looking at this you see that fuel tanks bowed and see this right here I've got a it's that metal caved in a little bit you know these well I see a little bow in this tank - yeah maybe I've boiled that fuel out I'm sure like there wasn't you in there that grills all destroyed the radiators like gone they just took that radiator and absolutely destroyed it I'm not sure if this is a Komatsu I know I put those in these and that's a versatile car mine I don't know what the model number is on it but hey God toast hit well I'm sure that was a good $300,000 machine at least and then over here hey Scott come over here this was a versatile quad track well not a quad track they don't call my car track that's case it was of course first tile tracked and it it got destroyed all of that there's another one Wow a shame easier to get a 600-horsepower version this is $600,000 of that tractor and it's just destroyed it's the difference between big blood frames and newer tractor frames see huge frame sidewalls like two feet tall but they only use about half inch yeah half inch steel I'm sure strength-wise it's probably very similar to the bud with the buds they use you know 3/4 2 inch thick steel through the entire frame and that's how they get that weight on them so you have to put weights so anyways yeah that's the downer side of this whole project or at least coming here to the graveyard but we got future plans for that uh that truck sprayer it's gonna be awesome we'll get to work on the hood right away and I'm probably a week here I bet it'd all be mounted up and we'll get the cab back on and you guys are gonna love it and we're gonna really love it so all right everybody peace out
