Big Bass CAN'T RESIST The Wacky Worm!

so well that didn't take long at all it's not a huge fish but it is a good one to start the day on yeah he came up and smashed that frog and i'd like to see that it's gonna be a fun day out here probably have to squeeze the water out of that fella well i did find the one fish back here to get rid of the skunk early that's always nice i worked my way back there into that corner it's pretty shallow looking back there kind of swampy i didn't really see much other than a bunch of little bluegill so i think we're gonna keep working our way along i might get out of this bay a little bit i think this is the kind of stuff that we're going to want to look for we're just going to want to look for it a little bit closer to deeper water out here so there's a couple of spots like that we'll paddle over and try them out i'm gonna keep an eye out for any big fish swimming around too i actually should get a wacky worm tied on my other rod here i'm gonna do that real quick because every now and then you paddle right up on a big one chances are they probably won't hit that frog but if you drop a wacky worm in front of them they'll usually gulp it up so i'm going to tie that one on that'll be our backup lure out here today oh there's a big throw my wacky worm at them he's looking at my worm got him well that was pretty sick i saw that fish sitting about 10 feet off to the side of me threw the good old wacky worm at him that he went right over to it wow look at that largemouth on the wacky worm jeez i just barely had him hooked there yeah that's a beauty that right there is why i always like to have that wacky worm tied on if i'm fishing real clear water like this see a big bass hanging out like that just throw that worm at them they will almost always come bite it well i don't know i've been throwing the frog out here most of the day not having a whole lot of luck cutting several smaller fish but i don't know maybe we'll just have to start throwing that wacky worm cause i'm pretty sure i threw that frog right in front of that big one i just caught there but he said no thanks there he is he's right up here to my left he went that away oh something hit it and it's probably just a bluegill so so oh right as i stand up one bite is not the real big one i was after but i might still be over here too that's not a bad fish on the wacky worm i have my players for that one there's a huge one i hope you guys look at that fish got him oh this is a pigging look at that fish you guys sight fishing giant bass on the wacky worm come here you man oh we got my net tangled up here jeez look at the size of that large mouth you guys how cool is that see him swimming around toss that wacky worm right in front of him get him to come pick it up that's awesome i'm gonna measure this one real quick 21 and just about a quarter i might throw him on the scale too real quick i'm gonna stick them to my net for just a second here four pounds 11 ounces yeah that is a heck of a fish right there big old largie all right let's get him back in the water off he goes i'm pretty sure i might have to just put the frog away at this point and focus on wacky warming i mean i'm catching them on the frog but they're all about that size maybe a little bit bigger but not much that wacky worm on the other hand has been catching some absolute tanks it's actually a pretty decent fish right here decided to give that wacky worm a cast out into deeper water nice little thump on it surprise nice largie i'm getting some nice ones out here on that wacky one today some chase that worm there probably just a bunch of bluegill there we go this feels like a good one oh yeah come on near you wow jeez look at this fish almost looks like he's got a tumor on his stomach or something there look at that that's crazy got a full belly and he's still trying to eat another nice one on the wacky rigged senko i'm just throwing that thing out into some deeper water now i don't even have my fish finder with today so i kind of know the layout of this lake though there's somewhat of a hump that extends out here and it's usually got some nice cabbage weeds on it as we get to about mid-summer probably starting to grow in and kind of see them down there little bluegills looks like there was a whole bunch of bass beds back here i'm assuming that's what those are not much up there now though might be worth checking out the shallows back here in this little bay we'll paddle through at least see if we see any big bass hanging out it's a nice one don't worry i'm gonna back off definitely not gonna throw a watermelon gold flake worm at ya so if you see one of those don't don't worry it's not me there's a nice one right over there i just splashed my worm up in front of him he's going to look at it he's eyeing it got him hello there yeah there's a couple nice ones hanging out up shallow here i don't think they're on beds i didn't see any beds in that area yeah that one came over and said hello to my wacky worm all right you guys it's about that time of day for me to head back to my truck and call it quits it's starting to get kind of warm out here running low on water i honestly wasn't planning on staying out here this late today but i got out here early this morning threw the frog around the first i don't know three or four hours got a whole bunch of little bass just could not get the bigger ones to go for that frog though so i switched it up tied on a wacky rigged yum dinger and we caught some absolute tank largemouth with that wacky rig out here today that 21 and a quarter that's an easy five pounder pretty much any other time of year it looked like it was all spawned out though i tell you what that is a good old time when you can paddle around see those fish up shallow throw that worm in front of them and watch them inhale it yeah i had a blast out here today i hope you guys enjoyed it too thanks for coming along with me again i'll see you next
