ishmael ishmael all right hey ishmael ishmael yes sir i am going to do a series of prayer can you do one of them it's on music and music all right let me text you on we're ready the live stream is up all right cool a pleasant good evening to everyone it is so good so good to be with you tonight as we come together again another night to just give honor and praises to our god uh our god is a good god and we bless the lord for his goodness and his mercies towards us you know i am reminded of the word of god that you know we are god's workmanship and and and that says something about me you know that i'm not just willy-nilly uh i'm not an accident uh i didn't just happen by but you know i'm intentional god was intentional about me and because he was intentional about me it means that i'm special i'm wonderful i'm fearfully created in the image and in the likeness of god and that is something that is just simply quite amazing and i can say that because i know so many persons around today who don't feel the way i do and who struggle to feel the way i do and tonight i'm rejoicing and i know so many of us are rejoicing because of our knowledge of who god is to us and what god has done in our lives and i'm just grateful to god for the opportunity that we have tonight to just lift up his name you know tonight we continue our 21 days of prayer and of course we're going to be um you know touching on a very critical area you know tonight and we're going to be spending some time in prayer um for that particular area but you know as we go into our prayer sessions this evening you know let me just invite us to you know bow our hearts uh before the lord as we come to him in prayer this evening yep very very just just just let's let's just bar hearts before him dear lord we honor you because you are just sovereign you are amazing you are in control of all things lord we thank you for your love and your mercy and your care lord you care for even the grass god almighty that today is here and tomorrow is cast into the oven according to your word you care god almighty for wild flowers you care god almighty for ravens how much more we according to your word and so god i am so thankful that tonight as we bow before your throne god we're reminded that you care about us that you care for us that you take note of us and so god we can worship you in spirit and in truth thank you for this evening thank you for this opportunity thank you lord for taking us through another day thank you for your goodness and your mercies and your grace god we just honor you and lift your name on high even no lord as we open to you oh god almighty god in prayer we ask that you oh lord will open to us god and speak into our spirits we pray that you would minister oh god healing and deliverance to us we ask that you oh god would set us a blaze and we pray that we will experience you tonight god we didn't come here to be impressed we didn't come here lord to impress anyone lord we did not come got to see who is on or who is leading or what we're going to be praying about lord we came because we wanted to have an encounter with you we came because we wanted to see you high and lifted up we came because god we wanted to hear your voice would you speak to us tonight god would you challenge our hearts god would you o god almighty just cause us to feel the brush of angel's wings lord we humble ourselves before you and thank you for this evening in jesus name we pray amen and our men and amen so again let me say welcome to everyone that's on uh zoom and everyone that's on youtube uh in youtube land really really so good to have you on this evening and we bless god for you i want to make welcome all of our counselors um who are joining with us it is indeed a pleasure to have you and really all of our brothers and sisters uh from home here in jamaica and across the waters in the diaspora you know so so good to see all of you um let me also just make welcome uh latoya hall downer um and just say it is so good to see you this evening and i know you've been on some other evenings but i really want to acknowledge you yahweh bless you richly amen so tonight uh we want to focus a little bit on music we want to focus a little bit on music you know we we we believe that music is a big part of our society and it is one that i want us to pay attention to tonight as we do some praying um in that light music is a big thing you know um i think it was bob marley who says one thing about music is when it hits you you feel no pain and i want to tell you that music is powerful powerful it is something that impacts far and wide and it is something that i feel we ought to pay attention to i i cannot remember ever having a church service without music before no can any of you remember having a church service without music no that doesn't make no sense church service and music go together yeah it is even clapping of the hands or knocking of the tambourine or dancing or singing but music is a real part of our worship and so tonight you want to talk a little bit about music and so i'm going to share my screen with you and i want to thank um i want to thank minister hall dono who would have ensured you know that all of the prayer pints that i have tonight um are in sync with you know some of those things that we need to pray for um so while it's not exhaustive but you know some of those things that we definitely need to pray for when it comes to music and musicians so appreciate it minister um donor so tonight we want to talk about um we want to talk about we want to talk about uh music or talk about music ministry um so as we talk about music ministry tonight we want to talk about what is music what is music you know so according to a compilation of dictionaries music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody harmony rhythm and timbre no you know that's a whole lot of something coming together right there yep um melody harmony rhythm and timbre no i mean just just think about a song and think about all of these components you know you're thinking about that melody you know well i don't know about you but i'm not afraid i ain't thinking about harmony and somebody give me pretty works beside me all the way you know yeah the arm only them tight and then i think about the rhythm [Music] i hope i'm getting it right but the idea is just think about all those components that makes up what we call music also it is also described as melody or harmony any succession of sounds so modulated as to please the ears so it's not just any kind of sounding up yep so so so some people tell they say lord they must make a joyful night so they just mechanize you know we are saying it's not just any kind of sound no money it must be pleasing it must be so modulated as to please the air like i don't know about you but when i hear persons singing and eating right listen there's osakayana it's like it just hit a spot and it's just nice and i know that for a holy part time when i'm singing it don't it knows but whatsoever that not all the time you know cause sometimes this part but though sometimes you're just not it knows but all right aminos i mean in that category amen but is not all the time sometimes i hit this part praise jesus but but the idea is it's melody or harmony any kind of succession of sounds so modulated as to please the ears or any combination combination of simultaneous sound in accordance or harmony and and that is that is that is significant in other words all of all of the melody and the harmony and the rhythm and the timbre all of that must make sense it must be pleasing to the air it must it must it must say something it must reach us somewhere and that is important we're talking about music and we're talking about what that is and i don't know if i know anybody who don't love music if if you're here and you know anybody that don't know music no say something i don't know of one person who does not like music like there are people who will tell you i don't have one music warning me pastor but remember i love music yep and that is the truth all right i think you are created with music inside of us so why is music important music stimulates the mind i can agree all in favor say hi yemen music stimulates the mind like just really stimulates the mind you know god is fighting for us pushing back the darkness lighting up the kingdom that cannot be shaken in the name of jesus enemies defeated and we will shout it out shout it out man when i'm on here that and and i may sing that and that don't mean anything to you minister donna could you sing that for me please just that's right there so god is fighting for us pushing guarantee you said the second one stimulator mind because when we're in a place where we're going through struggles and we hear music like this it does something to us it touches us in a very special way and it stimulates us into action yep but so that is why music is important because it stimulates the mind it it spurs you on to action you know kind of a thing boy you must see some people who in love and endless listen to a love song and named us you know our name you know never call somebody and yeah it stimulates the mind but not just that it creates a sense of community it creates a sense of community when we hear real music yep trust me it creates a sense of community when you hear a congregation coming together and singing together it is something that is beautiful and they are singing the same thing you know we are together again just praising the lord and your body those are racking up and everybody just excited and some people just dance and some are clapper and some people are getting a spirit and say yes and you feel like you're part of a community yes man music creates a sense of community music is therapeutic good for mental health a couple of nights ago um counselor evan douglas would have talked about mental health we would have prayed about mental health and i want you to know that music is therapeutic and good for mental health it soothes the mind yemen and it and it and it carries the mind into those different realms and place and that is a blessing you know so it is important music is a big part of our daily lives and then why is it important fourth one you know language that is understood globally it is a language that is understood globally singing music is something that is understood in every quarter of the world every corner of the world every nuke uncanny of the world i don't believe that there is any place on earth where music is not music is everywhere music is that universal sound that just literally does something to you it simply means all of us hear it and all of us respond to it why is music ministry important because of course we're at church so we look at the importance what is music you can look at the importance of music then clearly talk about music ministry because we're at church and we have music ministry in church why is that important you know according to new city press music it enhances connection to god it enhances connection to god yemen is one of those languages that just massive it is a way of obeying god's command according to colossians chapter 3 verse 16 and ephesians chapter 5 and verse 19. it is a way of obeying god's command god commands us that we must make a joyful nice he commands us that we must come before his presence with singing he commands us and this is something that is important to the believer yep it is a way of obeying god but not just that um it teaches and reminds us of the gospel of jesus christ yemen it teaches and reminds us of the gospel of jesus christ yeah man so sometimes when we come to church and we pick up a psalm and we start sing a song listen you know when when we start seeing can can i can i hear the lord is my shepherd the lord is my yeah i'm not going to try it who who who's going to try it for me come minister i know i'm going to call it this thing again which song is that sir psalm 23 um it depends on the version the lord is my shepherd yes it teaches and reminds us of the gospel that's what it does and not everybody hears the gospel message you know being read and readily gravitates to it but when they hear it being sung that way people respond to it because it is a way that teaches and reminds us a lot of these psalms that i know i learned them as a boy in singing in song um in sunday school in the early days and i believe all of us are a lot of us can testify of the same thing and then one of the things that our music ministry does is that music ministry unites people in church music ministry unites people in church like just bring everybody together and that is a major thing yep if there's ever a time we want people to come together as one in church is no and music ministry does that i i'm telling you i told you how last you got a call from sister robin augusto owner hermitage and sister rob called me i said reb tell the priests team continue them are going well may because tell you tell a musician them i could i can hear them from my veranda and it sounds so good and i want to thank god that the music ministry in our congregation continues to unite people across communities across borders across languages across the waters and that is something that we are grateful for so we're going to go to some prayer points even now as we you know pray for um this aspect of music you know prayer point for music we're going to the first prayer point that we're going to be praying for you know we're going to be praying for spiritual maturity you know among our practitioners those who are musicians yeah man we go and pray for spiritual maturity yep um the truth is if music is what it is and it is if music is as important as it is and it is and if music ministry does what we say it does then clear and it does then clearly we have to pray for the spiritual maturity of the practitioners those who play music so have to pray that the fruits of the spirit be evident in their daily lives we have to pray for humility for them you know that lord will give them a servant's heart because remember i know yes when the music right oh god man people will lift you up and worship you because the music sounds good you absolutely pray for humility we have to pray you know that they will be persons who practices spiritual disciplines the fasting and prayer you know the the the the reading of the scriptures on a daily basis the meditation you know on the scriptures on a daily basis you know some of those things we want to pray for that you know and then of course we want to pray that god will make them instruments of honor that that as they play music you know that as they sing you know as practitioners that that they will themselves become vessels you know they'll become instruments that the holy spirit can use and we want to pray that they have discernment you know that they flow in the spirit you know when they're in church and they're worshiping you know we want them to be sensitive to the move of the spirit of the lord so that's that when the lord says you know cut that song and sing this song even though they never rehearse it them sing it and trust the lord just the spirit to just take them and do what he wants to do with them because they already have device and they already have some other things and he may just want to use them in that particular way so at this time i'm going to invite everybody and i'm going to be leading out to here as we deal with this matter of spiritual maturity in our practitioners let us go to god in prayer at this time hallelujah come on everybody let us pray let us pray let us pray let us pray father in heaven we give you glory and honor under praise we declare that you are sovereign lord and there is no one who is like you from everlasting to everlasting lord you are god you are god from beginning to the end there's no place for argument lord your god all by yourself and tonight lord as a congregation lord at home in jamaica and in the diaspora lord we just want to lift your name on eye just telling you thanks for your goodness and your mercies and your grace lord you are our all in all and our everything father as we kneel before your throne and we see you lord high and lifted up in all of your glory god we recognize that god almighty we are in need of you we recognize lord god that on our own we are weak and fittle and god decaying lord we recognize almighty god that we're not strong as we think we are we're not wise as we think we are we're not bold as we think we are god we understand even no lord as we see you that lord god almighty we're not good as we think we are in fact lord our best righteousness lord is like filthy rags before you and so lord we take pleasure god almighty of we take pleasure in god almighty establishing our righteousness in jesus christ lord we we take pleasure in declaring that god we are the righteousness of god through jesus christ lord we take pleasure in just god almighty humbling ourselves under the mighty hand of god and allowing him to exalt us in new season lord jesus christ of nazareth tonight god we bow before you low our hearts god as we worship you and as we adore you because god we were made to make your praise glorious thank you thank you thank you lord for making us into worshippers men and women and children o god who will lift up the name of jesus christ on high almighty god we thank you we thank you for your peace and your joy thank you lord for your spirit god who leads us god almighty into your through into your truth and into oh god almighty our daily encounters and experiences thank you thank you lord god almighty for all that you continue to do god you have created a place for us to worship lord it is a place that we gather together it is the assembly god it is called the church house lord it is called oh god this synagogue in some places lord it is called a mask in some places but whatever it is called lord we thank you for the opportunity together together lord we know oh god our new place that we call the virtual online setting where we gather together we invite you almighty god to lord sit with us god when we come together singing is a big part of what we do worship and music is a big part of what we do god we don't have services without music and worship and music practitioners and lord god almighty it is an integral part of our god almighty worship experience got at the beginning of our service god almighty after the opening god there is there is music god music from musicians music lord god almighty that comes oh god from instruments music lord god almighty that come true practitioners god we have singers lord who are singing lord through mics that are amplified and god it is such a beautiful sound to hear the harmony it is such a beautiful sound to hear the music oh god lining up with the singing god it is an amazing thing lord god it prepares our hearts and helps us to consecrate ourselves lord god almighty as we enter into your house into your oh god almighty gates with thanksgiving and with praises father we understand even now in the name of jesus christ that god this element of worship is significant god almighty to the church and therefore god we commit to you the practitioners tonight those who are musicians those who are worship leaders and we say in the name of jesus christ of nazareth hear us oh god on their behalf tonight we're praying for their spiritual maturity lord we believe according to your word that those o god who would have played who would have been designated as musical practitioners god almighty in the old days were people who were consecrated they were set apart for your god almighty they were not just any old body any old person god we couldn't just pick up somebody and bring them oh god almighty to raise up the ark of the covenant we couldn't just pick somebody up and bring them and put them before the armies to play skillfully god we had to use those who were consecrated and set apart so we pray even now for the practitioners that god the fruits of the spirit will be evident in their daily lives lord we pray oh god almighty that these men and women will be men and women o god almighty who strive after the fruits of the spirit o god who o god seek to allow their fruits to be displayed your word says god that ah a bad fruit can come from a good tree lord we pray that the fruits that comes from the lives of these practitioners will be fruits in keeping with righteousness and holiness and peace and joy in the holy ghost we pray that god almighty these fruits of the spirit god almighty will this we will will exhibit god gentleness and and and kindness and patience and temperance and meekness we pray in the name of jesus christ that god our musicians will demonstrate spiritual maturity that god that they will not be shallow that they will not god be light-headed they will not be fit but that god they will be strong and grounded deeply in the word we pray for humility lord we pray that these practitioners will be men and women of low estate god we pray that they will not concern themselves according to psalm 131 with high things but that god they will humble themselves in your presence and allow you oh god to be glorified we thank you for servants hearts in the name of jesus christ we believe those who are spiritually mature are servants at heart they are willing to take up a toilet god almighty instead of a title we pray god that even as they seek oh god to be humble in heart and serving you that god they will seek o god almighty to practice these spiritual disciplines lord on a daily basis god these disciplines does not make them god almighty spiritually mature but god if they're going to be spiritually mature they will need to practice these spiritual disciplines oh god we pray that you oh lord will empty oh god every practitioner of themselves and we pray that you will make them instruments divine instruments oh god of worship instruments that will god honor you instruments that will glorify your name instruments of god almighty that will lift you up we pray that god they will be pliable in your hands god the kind of instrument just like a keyboard where if somebody does not punch it if somebody does not play it it does not play we pray that oh god almighty the musical practitioners will be instruments in your hands divinely led divinely played divinely instructed so that when they sing when they speak when they play lord you will be honored and glorified open the eyes and the hearts and the minds of our practitioners god grant them the ability god the spirit of discernment lord help them to see where your spirit is leading to see where you're going oh god we recognize that each sunday morning service is different it's sunday morning service god almighty is different open oh god the eyes of the hearts o god almighty of your people lord god to be able to see in the spirit where you are leading mighty god we pray for a place of sensitivity to the move of the spirit to the move of the holy ghost lord we thank you we thank you god almighty for the amazing voices we thank you god that you've given them amazing voices we thank you that you've given them god almighty the ability to harmonize the ability oh god almighty to to to to to to oh god almighty sing at ranges that is that is not normal we thank you but god we pray more than anything else that god you will create in the hearts and the minds of our music practitioners lord a kind of sensitivity to the move of the holy spirit god we commit ourselves to you now we commit oh god the practitioners to you and we say lord raise up spiritually mature musicians rays of spiritually mature musicians men and women who are grounded in the faith men and women who love you and who will serve you all heartedly lord god of heaven raise up music practitioners lord god almighty who don't just sing because their vices are there to sing but god they will sing because god they are an instrument of you god we give your glory and we give your honor and we give you praise now and we thank you god almighty but spiritually mature practitioners in jesus mighty and precious name we pray and everybody say amen come on somebody say amen say amen in the chat shout out hallelujah shout out glory anything just just say something thank you jesus we bless your name for your name is great and greatly to be praised thank you lord we declare it start declaring declaration we're going to spiritually mature musical practitioners in our church in the name of jesus christ men and women and children young children we're going to start learning and they're not going to be you know just flip on but they're going to be mature and grounded yemen hallelujah thank you jesus amen and amen prayer point number two yeah man we're still a prayer we're going to pray we're going to pray for healing within the music ministries we're going to pray for heal for healing within music ministries yeah see music ministry is a critical ministry in the life of the church a critical ministry in the life of the church you know and there are so many musicians there are so many musicians musical practitioners that are you know have been hurt you know they they have church hurt people say all kind of things about them and some of them some of them are deserving because you know some of them boy it just happened but the truth is they're somewhere hurting so we want to pray for repentance we want to pray you know that they would they would repent themselves for you know those areas where you know they deserve it it is knowingly so and we want to pray for ourselves you know that we would repent you know of the times when we would have said things about our musicians that don't add up and don't write and shouldn't say yeah man when we pray if we we're in prayer repentance and then of course like i said there's a church hurt you know that we need to pray for we find that our musicians you know just keep moving around and sometimes it's difficult we don't pray for them some of them are hurt sometimes like i said we say some things about them that not right you know we want to pray that our musicians you know uh that that you know musical you know you know in our music ministries that you know our our musicians will have a teachable heart you know that they will not be afraid to be taught that they will not be afraid to be vulnerable you know as they learn and as they heal and and as they they grow you know um we want to pray you know that that our practitioners will will be able to take correction and to give corrections in love because in a real sense some of us we can give corrections you know but some of us can't take corrections and the truth is sometimes when we give and take it's not in love all the time so we want to pray you know for our for healing within the music ministries that you know corrections will be given but it will be given in love and that the corrections will be taken and they will be taken in love and then of course clearly you know pulling all of that together you know it's going to be reconciliation i want to pray for reconciliation there there are musicians who would have been hurt and would have left church you know some of them are out there on the road on the street some of them you know you know gone out gone play a few secular people cause them just get hurt you know some all kind of things but we're going to pray for reconciliation tonight um of these men i i saw counselor dad on earlier counselor that would you be able to open your mic and pray for reconciliation for our musicians in music ministry all right i think hallelujah bless the lord thank you jesus hallelujah hallelujah jehovah the lord will provide thank you jesus thank you lord jehovah nisi the lord's is my banner lord i thank you lord god as we approach your throne one more night lord god lord i put before you lord and i present these musicians lord god lord who have been hurt almighty god who have been who have been ridiculed and who have been feel intimidated and and stepped out of your present almighty god this musician lord god they stepped out in the world lord some have regretted some have made another step but lord i pray tonight tonight almighty god for that reconciliation that restoration lord god of their faith in the name of jesus christ glory to god i pray almighty god that you lord will touch them one more time and remind them o lord where they are coming from as the songwriter said roll back the curtain and see we have brought before lord jesus and so lord they can look lord god and and see where they were in the house of the living god plain sweet song plain sweet tune playing melodies lord and different instruments lord symbols and all kind of instrument lord god that sweet song that that go up in the air lord and they can recognize that lord they have to come back to you lord god i pray lord almighty for each and every one lord god even those who have second thought to step toward right now i pray that you keep their feet in almighty god keep their mind in almighty god keep them in lord lord correct them lord let them know it's the best place lord jesus lord god i pray unto god the keyboard please almighty god for the drum players the base and the lord god the lead lord almighty god and i pray pray almighty god that when they they move their hands mighty god lord it will the sweet song remedy to the soul to the mind lord god almighty lord the secular world must not be above us they must not be above us we must have the best lord you almighty god in your house in your tabernacle lord because you're giving us that wisdom and that knowledge you are giving us that extra boots almighty god lord god that even when the preacher preached almighty god and the keyboard played us play on lord god it's sweet the congregation on the rock to the rhythm and said preach pastor preach almighty god music is a sweet sweet scent to a bone as some some writer played that when music hit you feel no pain it definitely a feeling pain but you just rock to the rhythm you just move your feet to the beat hallelujah so tonight lord i pray lord that you you bring back those who have strayed away in your house hallelujah jehovah rapha the lord who heals heal their heart tonight jesus heal their heart tonight lord god only you alone can do it only you alone can do it almighty god you have teach them you have teach them lord you have given that gift to them mighty god so make it so easy lord jesus and lord god sometimes lord eve us has saint we might say a word and they are hurt and stepped out but lord we pray that you forgive us forgive us lord let it rest upon our heart to even say we are sorry almighty god that they will look in themselves and forgive us and return to the host of the living god and continue their ministry in the name of jesus so tonight lord god i i want to put all the musician before you lord jesus i want to put them before you lord so you can comfort them lord so you can disrupt your arms around them so you can hug them lord so you can embrace them jesus so you can just cuddle them lord god and just let them know almighty god that you are with them lord like oh you are with just joshua almighty god like you are with david oh lord jesus so bring them back lord jesus bring them back to the heart of worship almighty god bring them back lord use them jesus for your kingdom lord god lord has used the songwriter said if you can use anything lord jesus it means you can use me you can use me lord lord if you have used anything what about us lord god so lord we thank you tonight for those who play in your sanctuary those who play in the other gospel assembly lord god for those who play lord god in the street lord jesus even don't tone in parade at the guangdong tree lord when you pass by you will see a keyboardist and a preacher pray plain sweet song and people stop by to listen almighty god because there is something about music hallelujah there is something about music oh god lord jesus there is something about it lord jesus people gather to listen almighty god because it remedies bone it it move it release that depression it removed that that feelings of dawn in your spirit and it lift you up lord god lord jesus when you stay far off and you hear some music play that limited to your bone you said yes lord it reached the world lord god so use your musician lord god those were back to your whole lord jesus bring those lord god who have been distraught lord bring them back lord god let us send a word out there for them that we love them and we care for them lord jesus you have cared for us so lord god and let it be beneficial to them jesus they can make their bread their living almighty god because you have given them that gift and let they use it in your tabernacle let me appreciate it jesus so we thank you tonight for our musician all of them lord god we thank you we thank you in jesus name amen and amen hallelujah we thank you lord glory to god come on go ahead and give god go ahead and give god thanks we believe that even though some hurts are being dealt with eternal god hallelujah thank you jesus thank you thank you lord thank you lord elohim we thank you thank you jesus hallelujah thank you jesus we we believe that even now you know the holy spirit is is just moving you know and and and working in and through the hearts of our our musicians you know and our music practitioners and it's just having his way in them and restoring and healing you know and and and we are grateful you know that all of what we just prayed for you know that that their hearts are going to be teachable again that you know that they'll give and take correction in love and that reconciliation will take place you know from out of some of those hurts and repentance and all of that and where does believing god that even now in this time in this season he's doing it again thank you so much counselor god for leading us in that prayer of course um we are going to pray of course our third prayer point and that is you know for us to develop our craft um you know that is something that is critical you know we we we we heard one of the expressions talk about you know the the music being you know pleasing to the ears and we feel that if that is going to happen then it means the practice the practitioners have to develop their craft um and we talk about the music practitioners we're talking about all of them the musicians and the singers are like have to develop their craft you know so we want to pray for opportunities for growth and development you know we want to pray for more potent and quality songs being written you know a big thing not you know like bye we know this one sangha one of those ones sing one of those ones are right one of those ones pick up it by ablando sorry that's gonna write some work everybody i write gasps songs so you know no we want we want songs to be written that when you when those songs are played that they they minister to you that they are biblically grounded you know and and that they are their songs with meaning you know so so when you when you would hear um you know what one of one of one of the songs from from from minister latoya hall donors album you know and and you when you hear the song you can tell the sound that the song is is is grounded in the world of god you know so you can you can just sing it out you know um you know when they can when they can say you know i can't find no one who loves me like you hey that deep in other words you know from the deep place in my heart i'll worship hey remember me i tell you you want the word to be deep inside of our hearts amen so we want to pray for more potent and quality songs to be written we know that's one song like a fly by night something no we want real real songs we want to pray for the lyrics based on the word of god we want to pray you know for discipline in practice of their instruments to play and sing skillfully before the lord yeah man so so we're going to pray for the development of the craft that's what we're going to pray for um at at at at this time yep and and at this time i'm going to invite minister hall donato to pray this prayer um for us yep um she is going to be praying you know that the lord will just open the doors and you know present opportunities for us to develop our craft amen hallelujah hallelujah father god we exalt you god we honor your name father there is indeed none that compares to you there is none like you almighty god and so lord jesus we worship you tonight we thank you holy spirit of god that you have afforded us this opportunity to come together in this fashion lord god to join hearts together to to to to pray for our musicians to pray for our singers to pray for all the music practitioners within the life of our church lord god the sound engineers lord god the technical team felt they play a part as well in the life of music ministry in our churches and so god even now lord jesus we present each and every one of them to you not not just immediately in the 3b context but within our dinam within our country within the kingdom father god we present our music practitioners to you even now lord father god you would have birthed this desire in us lord jesus to want to learn to play music to want to know about different instruments to to be able to sing well to be able to create harmonies lord god to be able to hear frequencies and sound to be able to to put technical teams together to be able to do networking to be able to put the entire band together so that the end user can hear it and enjoy it father god you would have birthed those gifts and talents within us lord god you would have birthed those desires within us and lord jesus that does not co we don't take it lightly we don't take it lightly that you would have entrusted us with such a gift you would have entrusted us almighty god with this gift to go before the battle hallelujah father god and even now we we pray god that you will help us to take this gift seriously to take this calling on our lives seriously father god it is not something that we should take lightly because the music music in and of itself is so powerful it is such a powerful force it is such a powerful weapon it is such a powerful tool and so god father we we for those times that we take our calling that we take our ministry that we take our gifting lightly father god we repent and we say god forgive us oh god cleanse us lord jesus from the mindset to say oh you have you have given i have this gift and and so nobody can take it away from me i have this gift and so you have to you have to you have to meet me on my terms only we repent almighty god for that clothe that we allow to overshadow the gifting that you have given to us father in the name of jesus christ of nazareth we we we declare almighty god that that we will honor you by honoring the gift that you have placed within us we will honor you almighty god by honoring the calling that you have placed upon our lives and so in so doing lord jesus we have to prepare ourselves to present that gift to you in excellence father god even though we some of us would have been born with it naturally we just get up one morning and we can play or we we as we grow and develop you see that we have this this natural inclination to music and to music ministry the different aspects of music ministry but lord god now is the time for us to take it to the next level what we have now is not enough what we have no for what is happening in our world today hallelujah for what is happening in our churches today for what is happening in society today for how the enemy is launching attacks on our world today left right and center music is one of the elements that will be used to to to change things music will be one of the elements that will be used to shift things in their in in the heavenly realms that will be used to take us from one dimension to the next and so father god we need lord jesus to immerse ourselves up in more of you we need to immerse ourselves in the craft that you have given us we need to immerse ourselves in in in in in creating a higher level from where we are at and so lord jesus we pray god that you will provide opportunities lord god for further growth lord jesus and for for development lord god connect our musicians and our singers our our our engineers lord god our tech team connect us lord jesus with divine people divine connections lord god father god those doors that are divinely set up by you i pray god that they will be open and no man can shut it for those doors almighty god that are set there to lure us away and to distract us from the call on our lives we pray god almighty and we declare that they be shot now in the name of jesus christ of nazareth we thank you holy spirit of god that you are now providing opportunities for for the for education for music education for us to learn how to play better for us to learn how to sing better lord jesus father whatever finances that are needed to go to school to invest in our next level i pray god that you will provide those opportunities that you will open those doors father god because when it is that we learn more when we learn more about the craft when we learn how to write songs because even though we need to write songs based on the word there is an art to songwriting there is an art to to playing there is an art to to engineering and so lord god help us to learn the art help us to spend time learning and developing the art lord jesus father god i pray god that more potent songs and more quality songs lord jesus will be written out of our relationship with you lord god out of the principles that we would have garnered lord jesus out of the connections that we would have made father god quality songs equality music quality production help us to take to take pride in in in what it is that we are putting out and saying okay this is gospel music lord jesus let us not just be be substandard we come against the spirit of mediocrity and substandardness if that is such a word in the name of jesus we thank you holy spirit of god that that that the lyrics that will come will be based will be grounded in the word of god in the scriptures and we can turn them and and be poetic with them but its root and its foundation will be your word because when we sing your word when we play lord jesus according to your word with our hearts in the right place lord jesus when we tweak those frequencies with our hearts in tune with the holy spirit oh god almighty we will have open heavens we will have open heavens and deliverance will take place in your world healing will take place for your people redemption salvation will come to your people to your kingdom lord god father we we thank you holy spirit that we will we will spend the time to know your word so that we can write your word that we can be poetic with your word and lord god this takes discipline this takes time this takes this takes will and so lord god we we pray god for a renewed sense of discipline we pray god for for those that don't have the discipline that they will get for a spirit of discipline to come upon us lord jesus we are guilty so many times when we should be practicing lord god we are not practicing and then we come to one rehearsal and we feel like okay we must just okay we will sing into and run it through one time and the holy spirit will do the rest no the lord will anoint our excellence we have to come to god with something for him to anoint we cannot come empty-handed or with a little bit and expect that the lord is just going to do the exceedingly abundantly with with the the the little bit when we know that we could have done better and so lord god we pray god for our spirit of discipline to come upon your your music practitioners we pray god almighty that as we as we play god that as we sing lord jesus that they will not people will not see us but they will see you it's not about us lord god it's not about how how well we sing and how how much we can slur and how many phrases we can put in one song but lord jesus at the end of the day it is about giving you glory it is about winning souls for your kingdom it is about creating that atmosphere where you can move and touch the hearts of your people lord jesus we are but conduits we are about vessels and so lord god help us not to be a distraction to your move help us not to be a distraction to what it is that you want to do in the lives of your people father god we pray lord jesus that we will sit at your feet and we will allow you lord god to shape us we will allow you lord god to mold us we will allow you lord god to fashion us in your likeness and lord god when we have gone through the pruning and if we know that it's not going to be easy and because we are at the front of the battle we get holy police we get a lot of lashes lord god build us up lord god fortify us lord jesus fortify us spiritually fortify us musically so that we won't be swayed we won't be easily swayed lord god we will be rooted and grounded in you we'll be rooted and grounded in your word father god we will we will we will trust you and know lord god that it is and be assured that you would have called us to this and no matter how we stumble no matter how we fall we come before you we repent and we brush ourselves off and we keep it moving because the enemy we want to silence us the enemy would want to silence our praise the enemy would want to silence our worship but it shall not be so in the name of jesus christ of nazareth we shall be the voice of god in the earth we shall be the oracle of god in the earth we shall be the ministers the music ministers that will be used to bring you glory almighty god and so we thank you we call it done we seal it in the heavenlies in the name of the father in the name of the son and in the name of the holy spirit glory to your name amen and amen hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah come on somebody hallelujah go ahead somebody and just give the lord a praise uh somewhere on youtube in uh zoom land just go ahead and just give the lord our praise seal see that prayer with our amen seal it with a hallelujah seal it with a thank you jesus the sea later seal it as we believe god for the development of those who are our music practitioner that their craft is going to be developed and that they are going to be the better for it come on go ahead and show the hallelujah somebody seal it somebody somewhere and let it be known in the name of jesus christ that it is done and that it will happen in the name of jesus christ thank you lord thank you lord thank you lord of course our next prayer point is that we're going to pray against attacks on the industry yes ma'am we're going to pray against attacks on the industry [Music] they say well our the industry comes under serious attacks sometimes yep um our you know church musician will not sell out for money or fame [Music] you know that the songs written you know um with subliminal messages you know that that that they you know the identity of self in christ will be evident we are praying some attacks on our musician you know uh so many of our musicians we find you know that that they're struggling so many ways you know and and sometimes but i'm actually saying it wrote a church because you know certain things them now receive and and the enemy we you know present you know um yes adam to them so it looks greener on the other side and some of them will move their tents you know over to the greenery you know near to saddam and boy it can be it can be a mess but we're going to pray that the lord god will keep them you see we we want to understand we wanted to understand that this music thing is a big thing and we don't want to take it for granted we do not want to take it for granted yep and and it is something that that we want you to pay attention to you know sister who sister sister andrea who thomas you know says scientists are phone that music stimulates more parts of the brain than any other human function yeah and and this is a critical thing that is that is why you know that is why um you know the the person that you know that them you know that them call like that that is that that is why one man can be behind bars and still write music kind of impact you with them other road yeah um our music the christian music industry is under attack our christian musicians are under attack and we have to pray against him after pray that god will keep them that that will god will watch over them and that god will you know just just come against the plans of the enemy that that would seek to take our our our musicians our music practitioners our our you know our young singers you know away from the church and lure them into the world um when you look at all of those people who a lot of those people who sing in hollywood know those big singers here talk about the michael jacksons talk about the anita you know talk about the the whitney u stands talk about all of them at church them learn to sing you know yes man and and and some of them get attacked and lowered away and and and before you know it then what are they sing you know secular music what we wanted we want to pray against the attacks on this industry and declare that our people are going to be safe you know at this time ishmael are you ready to pray ishmael so ishmael is going to lead us in this prayer at this time good night brothers and sisters let us agree in prayer understand oh father in heaven great is your name almighty god wonderful is your name tonight we lift up our voices in praise to you as only you deserve to be praised god we thank you for your many gifts we thank you for the gift of music and the music that we use in ministry such a beautiful part of our creation and culture oh god but further like many other gifts and talents you gave to us to worship you the enemy has invaded and is causing many of us and many among us to use it against their kingdom they glorify themselves god they glorify evil they glorify wickedness and violence they glorify money and slander and so in the name of jesus we declare that your people will break free from this influence god and turn back to you we pray in the name of jesus that are musicians or singers or music managers practitioners everyone involved in this art god everyone involved in ministry we pray that they will serve you in music father let the holy spirit use them and speak to your people through them cause every voice to be lifted up in worship every hand to bless you in holiness every instrument god to make melodies that worship you father your word reminds us that we should praise you with the sounding of the trumpet praise you with the harp and liar praise you with the timbrel and dancing god praise you even with the clash of symbols and so as we continue in worship cause us to re-center and be disciplined in our practice of music use all of us god those of us who are musically inclined and those of us who love the music god use all of us and be glorified be glorified god with the melodies be glorified with the lyrics be glorified with the compositions be glorified with the singing be glorified in the mixing of the sound be glorified in the whole package god cause us to be prayerful in music and cause us to speak and speak cause us to speak god to your people speak to our hearts god and inspire songs in our hearts and moats father we pray against all the attacks on the industry we pray against god all the evilness that is out there that is attacking your people father and so we pray you will be glorified tonight teach us god your music teach us to read write please sing teach us though to to interpret understand and may we all be devoted to always developing this talent cause us to be skillful and be excellent for your glory grant us god opportunities to grow and develop keep our eyes and hearts oh god fixed on you fixed on you so that when the opportunities come we will not stray from your love our word because god the enemy uses opportunities and tricks us and lures us in but god cause us to discern the success traps of the enemy and show show us the way by your spirit when the money god when the fame comes ground us in truth firm up oh identity in you father we're reminded in your word that though we're we're in the world we're not of it answer god let us and let our church musicians go not sell out for the money or the fame [Music] father we thank you tonight as we continue in worship and we ask that you grant us these things in jesus name amen amen and amen we thank you lord come on somebody just go ahead and say amen as we thank the lord for just building up walls and fences around us and keeping us hemmed in and safe from the attacks of the enemy we believe that his word of course is raising up a standard even now against the plans and the of course attacks of the enemy against our music practitioners and we believe that they are safe we believe that they are settled we believe that they are in tuned as they listen to the voice of the lord as they you know commit themselves to uh real worship we thank god for that we have one final prayer to pray at this time um and i'm going to you know ask us to look to the lord you know and we're talking about life outside of music you know these musicians have family can ask a lot to pray for their families and we're going to ask the lord to remember their families you know their personal relationship with god their financial stability some of them are not working and playing some of them are just musicians alone and so they just simply play um and sometimes it's difficult because they're not being paid you know we're going to pray for resistance the temptations you know all the different temptations that will come there we want to pray for their life for their for their lives outside of the music um and and so what one of the things i want to ask i want to ask um i want to ask sister i want to ask counselor counselor jeannette as our counselor jeanette and would you open your mind and pray for our music you know practitioners for their lives outside of the music um you know sometimes some people serve in different areas and what we've come to find is that boy sometimes when you know they are outside of that world they don't have a life you know we want to pray for them for their families we want to pray for their personal relationship with god their financial stability and their resistance to temptation at this time counselor carniv are you there all right all right um i am going to just close out this prayer as we pray for our music practitioners at this time and let us go to god i'm going to invite everybody on everybody whether you're on in on youtube or in zoom we're inviting everybody to pray for the music practitioners for their lives outside of the music almighty god we look to you this evening one more time god for the final time tonight we come to you lord in regards to our music practitioners lord we're so thankful for them lord we cannot imagine oh god almighty worship without them lord they play so skillfully lord their their their their their their ministry and answers oh god our church services in significant ways and we just want to bless you lord god almighty for the ministry that they offer almighty god we ask that you would grant peace and strength and we pray that you o god will watch over oh god your servants as they continue to do ministry lord we understand oh god almighty the power of the music the importance of the music the necessity of the music we understand oh god the necessity and power and need for the musicians lord god almighty for the singers the worshipers lord god almighty the technical team the sound engineer god almighty the producers god we understand oh god almighty in need god almighty for all those who play a role god in this industry god we recognize that outside of the music outside of the singing outside of the god almighty production outside of the technical aspects of it god they have lives lord some are single god almighty men some are single women lord some of them have families god husbands and wives and children and god all of those matters are matters that they have to contend with we commit over their those those do we commit those situations to you we pray god for unity and harmony in their homes god between their their spouses and children god we pray that you will keep oh god the sing musicians and the single worshipers lord god almighty free from fornication and and lusting and masturbation we pray that you will watch over them lord and keep them lord god almighty in your care as they seek to consecrate themselves lord to be instruments of righteousness and vessels of honor to you almighty god we commit oh god their lives outside oh god almighty of the music outside of the gift that you've given to them and we say lord we pray that their personal relationship with you will be first and foremost we pray that that personal relationship with you lord will bring glory and honor to you that god in in in having this relationship with you that they will come to know you as lord and savior we pray that god almighty they will be seeking first the kingdom god and your righteousness knowing that the other things are going to be added so lord god we thank you for financial stability god we thank you for opening doors we thank you for speaking to the hearts of pastors and leaders who need oh god almighty to create additional opportunities and blessings lord for these music practitioners lord god we pray that you oh lord god almighty will cause people to give into their bosoms in the name of jesus christ lord we don't always know what those financial needs are but god we're grateful that you who know all things and you oh god who care about us will provide for them accordingly lord we pray that god you will raise up in the resistance to temptation we pray that you'll open their eyes to be able to see the temptations coming from a mile off we pray that god you will give them the strength and the courage to resist oh god almighty temptation lord we pray your word will come alive that if they resist the enemy he will flee cause the enemy to flee from them as they continue to resist him lord in this time and in this season some are in situations god that are not always what oh god almighty they seem like and what not what they should be god and it's difficult god will pray for music practitioners who are in abusive relationships we pray god for music practitioners who are struggling with their identity we pray for music practitioners god almighty who are not sure we pray for music practitioners god with unsaved spouses we pray for music practitioners lord god and mighty who are wondering god what's next oh god we ask you even now god that even outside of the gifts the music god that which they are gifted to use to bring glory and honor to you that you oh lord god almighty would walk with them god and talk with them and open doors and make ways and god almighty bless them in the name of jesus christ lord we bless our music department even now god will bless our music department we bless every keyboardist every drummer lord every every bassy lord every leads we're blessed oh god almighty every worship leader god every every member of the choir we we will bless lord god almighty our worship divisions leader our choir directors we bless oh god almighty our praise and worship leader god almighty both male and female we we pray that god almighty you'll remember oh god our sound engineers that you will touch them in a very special way tonight god remember our producers those oh god will put the work together lord god almighty we commit to you lord our district oh god almighty music director we commit to you lord every local director we commit to you lord god almighty the technical team we commit to you oh god almighty lord your people and ask that you oh god almighty will just have your way in and through their lives oh much everyone for being here tonight it's so good to have you so good to see you i want to say it's so good to see um sister cheryl's gone all the way from um england missed you a couple of nights and so good to see you welcome back god bless you in a very very rich and meaningful way um to all of our music practitioners who are on you know enough love and respect bless up we love you guys we appreciate what you do um and we continue to just you know continue to give you support the best way we can um and we're grateful to god for you and for the ministry that you offer all right um bless rest um you know our departed sister sister patricia lo we thank god for you know the beautiful service that she had today um as she was laid to rest we pray that god will continue to bless her family um as we continue to press along of course a memorial service will be held for her on friday you'll see some more of that coming out um we look forward to having you just giving support to the family
