Merry Christmas Merry Christmas I am over at my friend an interior designer Pam Kelly's beautiful Highland Park home we've done a tour of it before but she has it all decorated for the holidays look at all this right when you come in you can see some trees here tell us what is your what are your thoughts about your Christmas decorating more is more of course I agree with that and for those wondering I have some wine too yes or I can have two oh I just love how cozy your home is what for Christmas and all the fireplaces now tell us again when was your house built 1929 1929 it's almost a hundred well we'll have to have a birthday party we definitely have a birthday party I can't wait so we sort of did this kind of impromptu as I'm over for dinner anyway and everything looks so lovely thank you over for casual dinner pizza we're having pizza pizza and wine that's the way to do it and then Pam was also graciously kind enough to host me for Thanksgiving once my dog became diabetic um so Pam tell us about this you add these ornaments right I add those I found those pulling up into a old strip shopping center on Lovers Lane years ago and they were in a secondhand shop a little vent in inside a cabinet that they were glistening the Sun was shining so I went inside to see what they were and I bought them and I have one extra I didn't know what I was going to do with them they're beautiful too many ornaments they're perfect they get a great glow and pick up all your pretty antique nice performance oh I absolutely adore it and then I love your um little trees on here as well and as you know Pam started my love of asparagus plates looks so good and here we are in the kitchen will you be cooking Christmas dinners and then this was great she showed me this is a real um that's sweet it's really sweet that's very sweet real Holly right yes okay and then we'll keep heading this way I think we have a special visitor correct I think everybody's familiar with that Santa Claus at the bar and you said he makes a mean Martini he makes him mean martini he's always on time and he's so friendly that's right doesn't talk back and then this is of course one of my favorites now tell me about your Christmas tree my Christmas tree is a Christmas tree collections from when I was early first married so they're old I'm not going to tell you how old I am oh my gosh but there are 700 on this tree and I probably had that name more that are not on the tree so next year I'm doing two I should have done this year 700 ornaments and how much tinsel is on here again three thousand oh my God not one at a time and not thrown either it's just beautiful what what are your favorite sort of family traditions anything in particular Christmas Eve is that when you do your Mains that's that's when we do our main deal cozy dinner and [Music] then all the adults are still enjoying dinner kids are in here separating oh and then we all come in and have after dinner drinks and open our gifts I just love it is there anything else we need to see before we depart well no I mean I'm decorated everywhere but probably not Pam also has a very um did you even decorate in your the bedrooms yes oh well we got to see those really quickly then that'll be fun bye Santa hi Santa again more oyster points here more yes and I'll see the Snowman and did you add this Holly in here first it's so pretty I love this powder bath okay I love all of your artwork that's your old house correct so pretty to have that up here oh Madonna is here all year but look how pretty this is with the little those are so sweet little gingerbread house yeah see do you feel like it's Christmas everywhere right and then my favorite movie one of my client gave me that's beautiful isn't it beautiful she bought it in Paris so I'm very impromptu filming here really really pretty and then a little more of the bedside here do you just find these from all over yes yes kind of and what about your ornaments are those just collected Through The Years they've been collected through the years I haven't bought a new ornament in a few years I'm not saying that I wouldn't I also see Santa in here huh everywhere Santa is everywhere oh how precious [Music] I always love this piece this is one of my favorite pieces you own favorite pieces too and it took forever to get that finish on it it's beautiful thank you we had to bring that in the house before we closed it up this wall over here really it's too big to get in any other way that's so interesting but if I ever leave I'm not leaving it here no no we'll take the wall back down we'll take the wall back down and then up in here in the guest room I love that I actually don't think I've ever really noticed that until now a great painting I love him bought him in Scotland oh I see a Christmas tree if you do right amongst the dogs it's so pretty in a book about Christmas a little bit here and there and everywhere that's what happens when you move from 6 000 square feet to 2300 square and that's okay that's why there's so much in the garage um well this has just been such a little fun mini tour and now I'm I'm about to go enjoy my wine with you and some pizza hopefully the pizza delivery guy will be here soon we'll say bye everyone Merry Christmas
