of thine heart and lean not to think [Music] and he shall direct thy can we just lift our hands everybody and just worship the lord in the beauty of holiness we worship your name jesus we thank you we give you all the glory all the honor and all the praise that is due unto your name we'll begin our service with our scripture reading and our first lesson will come from jeremiah chapter 29 verses 11 to 14. that is jeremiah chapter 29 11 to 14. i'll begin for i know the thoughts that i think toward you saith the lord thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end then shall he call upon me and he shall go and pray unto me and i will hearken unto you and he shall seek me and to find me when he shall search for me with all your heart and i will be found of you says the lord and i will turn away your captivity and i will gather you from all the nations and from all the places whether i have driven you says the lord and i will bring you again into the place once i caused you to be carried away captive the next lesson will be taken from saint luke chapter 11 verses 9 to 13. that is sent luke chapter 11 verses 9 to 13 and i begin and i say unto you ask and it shall be given you seek and he shall find knock and it shall be opened unto you for everyone that ask it receiveth and he that seeketh find it and to him that knocketh it shall be opened if a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father will he give him a stone or if he ask a fish will he will he for a fish give him a serpent or if he shall ask an egg will he offer him a scorpion if he then being evil know how to give good gifts unto your children how much more shall your heavenly father give the holy spirit to them that ask him here ended a portion of god's holy word thanks be to god hallelujah bless the name of jesus glory be to god we're about to approach the throne of god hallelujah where we're going to let our petition be made known unto him can we all stand hallelujah as we lift our hands hallelujah unto the great god of heaven who is already in the house praise god we're gonna all pray together as we put the service at the feet of jesus for his direction hallelujah and for his awesome presence in our midst remember if you're not praying come on somebody help me to release the blood in the atmosphere hallelujah the devil don't cease alleluia and so we know that our weapon is not carnal but it is mighty true god to the pulling down of stronghold hallelujah let us pray hallelujah most righteous and eternal god your god and god all alone before time begun you were on your throne we bow at your feet this morning with reverence and godly fear and knowing that you're a consuming fire no respecter of person but everyone that seek your face lord you promise that you will not turn them away this morning great god you have woke us up out of our sleep and you have clothed us in our right mind to be in the house of the living god we don't want to take this uh for granted and so we want to place you in the highest place for there is no god like our god the lord jesus christ of nazareth we thank you this morning great god that the sun is not really shining but we know that the son of the living god is the light of the world and so as we approach and we pray that you see us through your blood a spirit of the living god we know that we have done all things right in the sight of the lord and so here we are one more time upon the land of repentance where all our wrongs can become right and our crooked path becomes straight even now lord god almighty we confess of our sins a sin god of omission and sin of commission we pray in the name of jesus that your blood will reach into the recessive our spirit of our mind of our body and our soul that we will not god almighty be prevented oh to let the request be made known unto you you hate the sin god but you love the sinner and with this in mind god we pray that fate will be released in this atmosphere for it is impossible to please you with without faith for they that come to you must believe that you're a god and that you are the god oh god who will reward us diligently as we seek you a father in the name of jesus christ we thank you this morning god almighty that you have a signed angel to the people of god we are not alone my god sometimes it's so hard to pray and to push and to persevere but we stand upon the living word of god this morning that devil your elijah the lord jesus christ i rebuke you as we gather in the in this in the service lord we pray that your blood will be in the atmosphere every powers of darkness god almighty seen unseen your blood will attack your blood will pull down and destroy we are not here to be seen by men but that the name of the lord will be glorified and so we pray that you take god almighty your eyes seat among us a tabernacle with us god for our gathering without you it's all in vain a spirit of the living god we pray your mother is the mother rater i breathe your life breathing breath a god almighty in this atmosphere and every plans and plot of the enemy lord god almighty it will come down tonight open shame god almighty we are praying in the name of jesus christ of nazareth that the spirit of the lord i will over in this house your people hands will be free to lift that up your people mouth will be free to open up lord god of heaven as we gather today we are looking to you for souls to be birthed in the kingdom of god for you come to seek and to save that which was lost you came into the world god almighty and not to condemn the world but that the world through you might be saved and so we declare today our soul will be baptized in the name of the lord jesus christ help me praise somebody we need to break the atmosphere with our prayer lord god let your anointing come down in this place today and do a new thing among your people that oh god it will be noise abroad that god administered his people in 29 james avenue battle pray god that they will get that anger of that longing in their soul lord god of heaven for yourself this promise is unto all our children if as many as the lord our god shall call a father breed over the leaders lord and those who have chosen to lead us into this year a utarian spirit i pray you enlight them a breed over the bishop his wife the children ministers the deacons their wives and we pray god that you will download the spirit of unity among the body of christ lord we are looking to you today for those online or wherever they are we pray god that they will be so in tune of what together we stand as a army of god that they're satisfied with the word of god in our hand a declaring for god we live for god we die i'll take over the service today oh god almighty every heaviness lord let the government of praise be unto your people today we are not here to speculate or we are not here god to look around by the name of the lord god who will be exalted a savior and lord let your healing power be in this atmosphere the blood of jesus your power and your presence mighty god adhered on principalities and powers and bring them down to open shame not the healing blood of service here from someone from the community and then on wednesday we'll join in worship for our fasting fellowship service on thursday at 11 a.m will be the funeral service for troy stewart who is sister ann bell's brother and that is going to be right here also on friday 11 a.m our jerk sale then saturday morning 6 a.m to 8 00 a.m our early morning prayer meeting in the tabernacle and on the zoom platform next sunday god's willing by no we would realize that we do have per meeting also every sunday morning just for one hour five a.m to six a.m so you can tune in on the zoom platform then at 6 00 am we go to fame fm to listen to rightly dividing the word which is a united pentecostal church radio program the marriage ministry has started a partner plan towards mer and we are just asked us amen i'm here today just to share with us or to give us a short report with regards to our seven to six conference that was held last week for those of us who were blessed as a result of our conference let's put our hands over ahead and give the lord a hand clap everybody amen it was a blessing it was a blessing the 76 national conference of the united pentecostal church of jamaica which was held february 28 to march 3 2022 under the theme understanding the times push and the push there means pray specifically until something happens this was hosted at the pentecostal tabernacle wildman street in kingston and it was a live stream on the various platforms in the various hubs across seven regions however we started sunday the 27th with our holy ghost rally which was held across our assemblies sunday evening service and didn't we have a great time in the lord in the lord on monday the 28th of february our conference continues or started with our business session the minutes and financial reports for our 75th annual conference was moved and seconded also our 76 conference agenda was accepted election of officers for the next two years our national sector treasurer pastor clebert russell was accepted and he was elected as our next two years national secretary treasurer then we have the election of presbyters for presbyter 1 we had minister george king region 2 presbyter we had pastor we have pastor steve moncrief region 3 was deferred of region 4 pastor joseph lewis presbyter for region 5 pastor robert edwards region 6 pastor douglas decosta and region past the dale fisher and that closed our business session for the day the evening service however on monday we had our moderator pass to luke york and we have our national superintendent our own bishop mccoy he declared 76 conference open to the glory of god the levites from bethel tabernacle octorius they were the one who served during that service and our speaker was the assistant national superintendent bishop aaron crooks and he spoke to us on the topic what do we bring to the table on tuesday our business session continues and we had the election of officers national youth sector treasurer we have fabian edwards sunday school secretary churchill we have shireen nem hard for our women's ministry we have sister carlene stewart men's ministry brother novel thomas missions ministry brother liebert drisdale and the bpta ministry cheryl lawrence resolutions were tabled and accepted an appreciation was given for the planning committee conference speakers the hub tabernacles ict security catherines amen and for the superintendent and national board there was also resolutions given and thanks to our former national sunday school director pastor luke your bpta director karen mchugh and it was also also table that all unfinished business for the conference should be referred to the national board that will be presented at the next national ministerial meeting and there we close the business section session rather for tuesday the evening service we had the moderator pastor of st jones conference praise steam served and the first speaker was minister oral senior amen he spoke to us he was he's our national prior coordinator and he spoke on the topic it's time for us to push in prayer our next speaker was pastor dale fisher amen and he spoke to us on the topic understanding the time we ought to be like the sons of issachar amen that we and we also need to be relevant when it comes to the needs of our communities wednesday was ash wednesday holiday and so we had the promotion of the various ministries and after that we also had our national superintendent who addressed us and we were charged with regards to our organization and the way forward we were charged like esther that we ought to understand and know that we could have been in the first century church but god would have it that we be here today and so we ought to understand that we are come to the kingdom for such a time as this the five-year plan vision 2026 amen was outlined amen and we saw amen the the multi-purpose facility that we have at monique amen we see where the chairperson and their team they share with us the vision for this particular aim and property and so we were told that presently there's an arbitration being done for a change of use with regards to the title that we have there from a farm or residential use to a commercial use a three-dimensional diagram was outline of phase one of the conference center that we'll be having amen on vision 2026 amen and we were told that this is going to cost us at least it's going to be more 1 billion jamaican dollars but there was a spirit of rallying at conference when this was outlined right across right at wildman street and i believe right across amen this other six regions there was a rallying for us to get on board to see this as a reality the evening service the moderator amen bishop howard francis amen and our first speaker was pastor claude manning amen we had greetings from our international superintendent bishop cavit um david k bernard amen and the rest of board members and it was a blessing the speaker also amen was a member of the international board on thursday was on national youth day and this was the third year in a row pastor andrew mitchell pastor smith and our national youth president amen under the holy ghost charged and challenged our youths to rally around the team understanding the times push it is not a if you it's it's not a maybe but it's a must if we are going to be victorious in these days we must be determined to pray specific until something happening something happens rather the evening service moderator assistant superintendent bishop aaron crooks conference praise team minister first speaker was minister kenrick hill and he spoke to us on the topic lord avenged me the next speaker was our national superintendent that closed out the conference our own bishop mccoy who spoke to us on the danger of us leaving the next generation behind and there was a need for us to connect the truth and values to the next generation he spoke to us under the holy ghost amen on the topic the spiritual transfer zone as we heard over 60 souls received the baptism of the holy ghost and over 20 souls were baptized in the wonderful name of the lord jesus let's continue amen understanding the time to push until something happened god bless you pray until something happened praise the lord jesus somebody says offering time that's right it's lord would have to be the speaker today and just before i continue there all those who are members let's stand together everyone please in the in the first shift the rain was really pouring but the britain were really worshiping the rain is not falling so much but i believe that this team is gearing up for the word and after the word for the outer service amen because we're not going to cut it amen everyone now all members of bethel tabernacle who have not yet received one we started distributing them since december amen even before new year's service i'm going to encourage you because we are on our five-year strategic plan and goal and so we're going to be by the end of this month we have completed the first quarter in this year so i'm using this to positively reinforce all those who have not yet embarked remember there are five persons we should identify we want the lord to save we're going to be praying for them fasting allowing them to receive their own bible study this is the missions the heartbeat of god and i want to use this opportunity to encourage each and every one to be consistent as we push to be consistent as we brothers and sisters you would know that the number of our friends and relatives died last year number of them and most of them have gone unto christ this eternity we don't know what will happen next so let's do our part and so encourage us to be faithful and remember retreat the youth week started today and we are going to be giving support this week we're going to be doing all we can in the 2017 just about three weeks time will be the youth week for bethel boscobel we're hoping to do the same as we seek under god to help our daughter assemblies without further ado it is my privilege to welcome to this podium not for the first time he preached here many years ago and bishop oscar was passed he preached subsequently and we have reverend clayton powell all the way from new york he's the president of section one in metro new york district and it covers bronx and westchester so let's lift our hands together as we worship the lord and welcome reverend powell so glad to have you one more time sir god bless you in jesus name praise the lord everyone can we praise the lord everyone the lord is good his mercies are everlasting to the to the sound technician thank you so much for the valium that i have i at least in my presentation i can sound like i'm powerful thanks a million before you're seated if you would just give a second so i don't have to have you to stand again i can take the preliminaries and then you can just be seated passage of scripture that i would like for us to consider there are two of them the first one is found in first timothy chapter 2 and verse 1. first timothy chapter 2 and verse 1. i exhort therefore that first of all supplication prayers and intercession be given [Music] rather and given of thanks be made for all men second passage is found in the book of second chronicles very familiar passage of scripture chapter seven and verse 14. if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will i hear from heaven i will forgive their sins i will heal their land can you pray with me for just a moment lord jesus we're extremely grateful to you today for your kindness to us as a people for the undergirding of your presence that we feel in this house a house that is called by your name we thank you for the angel of this house in the person of bishop mccoy and the first lady we thank you for their children we thank you for the congregation we thank you for all of our guests and for all those that are viewing through the media circuits lord we're praying that you will have the prohibitions in this space for the next few minutes in jesus name amen lord bless you you may be seated my sincere thanks to bishop mccoy and the first lady for the opportunity to be here in the space today to share with you the word of the lord i do apologize that my wife she's here on the island but could not be in service with us today i am blessed to have my cousin mr derek campbell that was kind enough at least to transport me from where we're staying to the church today so thank you so much to the saints of the most high god it is great to see each of you we thank you for your prayers today and we pray that the word of the lord will be a relevant one to you that it will be life changing in your thought towards the subject i'd like to speak to us for a few minutes on the subject the power of intercessory prayer the power of intercessory prayer obviously by observation i'm dated myself now i will be serving my 52nd birthday as an apostolic believer born on the isle of jamaica in kingston my mother wrestled with the spirit of destruction that was hovering over our lives as it relates to a boy child as a young boy i don't know where the thought came from but i got taken up with the spirit of gang life and wanted to become notorious in the community i lived in as a boy some aspiration that is uh but my mom and i would like to leave some of those remarks towards the end of my presentation saw something in us that propelled her to enter into this ministry of intercessory prayer now i note she wasn't saved as we know salvation should be actualized or had she wasn't an apostolic she knew nothing about the oneness of god baptism in jesus name all she knew is that this god existed and a transfer of her gr her great-grandmother's spirit she asked the lord as a teenager to give her a double portion apparently my great-grandmother was a spirited person and went about the countryside preaching and healing people and my mother's a teenager admire that and pray that god would grant her a double portion consequently as a result of that she pursued god not knowing who he was ultimately god revealed himself to her yes it was a struggle for her to now adhere or give in to being baptized in jesus name because she was baptized in the title hopefully this is not offensive to our listening audience um after being baptized in the title god revealed to her and she struggled with the concept of being baptized or re-baptized in the name of the lord when she finally accept baptism in jesus name our family speaking of my brothers my sisters began to fall in the line of the oneness of god like dominoes because she made a decision to follow the lord i would say to you today this this this power not only of prayer because all of us are praying people but there is a specific journey that i believe that god would like to engage as many of us as possible into it's the ministry of intercessory prayer the simplest way to explain this process would be to co-sign for another individual and although scripture warns us according to the the the the writings of proverbs that we should not co-sign for a stranger this is one aspect of co-signing that god endorses that you would become surety you will become a participant in the salvation of someone else and that life as you know it would not just be for you because most of us in the building today can say that we have our oxygen mask on like they would say when you're flying if the if the air pressure drops in the cockpit or in the plane you would now have a mass that would drop from the ceiling and the goal would be for you to put your oxygen mask on first so now that we have salvation salvation was not intended for us alone can i hear an amen there must be at least someone that would go with me on that the lord intended that when you put your oxygen mask on that you would be willing now to help somebody else to get the life force of god in their lungs can i just have that water for a second please pastor so we are called by god to to be involved in this ministry thank you of intercessory prayer to make ourselves available to partner with god because according to the word of the lord we are laborers together with god can i hear an amen i'm just going to need a little help here if we are in this process together jesus has accomplished the major part of the heavy lifting when he took our place according to isaiah he was cut off from the land of the living the 53rd chapter and who shall declare his generation the modern translation of that verse says who is going to speak for the lord now that he's cut off from the land of the living so the truth be said jesus who knew no sin actually took my place in hanging on a rugged cross that i that was dead in trespasses and sin might have an opportunity to live eternally in spirit bliss but somebody had to pay the price in order for me to be liberated so in return the lord is saying i died at an early age i would have been living today because death had no power over me i would be alive but jesus voluntarily submitted his life to this cruel thing called death that he might bring us from the the whole of death into this now blissful experience that all of us are enjoying we are now sitting in heavenly places in christ jesus you who were dead in trespasses and sins has now got quickened to be now in his body so we owe a debt that we need to pay so i say to you one of the greatest things you can do with your life's journey is to participate with the lord in in the souls of men all souls are mine saith the lord and if all souls belong to him those that are languishing on our streets our fathers and our mothers our brothers and our sisters our uncle and our aunt that doesn't know the lord need a voice need somebody to take them to jesus they can't get there on their own and hopefully through this presentation we will be at least awaken to the reality that i pay a play a vital role in what god is doing in the earth today i'd like to take a sidebar and just talk about some of the personalities in the old testament passages that lend themselves to this ministry of intercessory prayer the first one that comes to mind is abraham the father of all of us because of his on relenting faith his on wavering faith according to scripture the bible said he staggered not at the promises of god he was not double-minded towards what god told him would come to pass so through abraham all of us now experience salvation at the level that we have now experienced it but it took one man to step out by faith not knowing where he was going this invisible god that appeared to him he bought into it hook line and sinker not seeing him just a a conversation from this invisible voice abraham stepped out and by faith he continued to journey what what what is amazing to me is that he didn't have scriptures like we have today to peruse over or to look up meaning of words and get a very vivid view of what god all he had was a voice and from this man's journey all nation of the earth are blessed god made a twofold promise to him that his seed would be like the sand on the seashore and like the stars in heaven somewhere about the 18th chapter of the book of genesis i discover that the sand on the seashore although natural represents israel in its body as an assembly the stars of heaven which are spiritual matter will represent the church the body of christ as we sit here today and around the world i want you to follow me very carefully if you follow our father abraham you can actually see the crucifixion of jesus in the 22nd chapter of the book of genesis when he was told to offer his son his only son because god did not in that conversation count ishmael to be the only son follow me carefully church god told abraham to offer his son his only son i am sure that abraham did not have a conversation with sarah about this move i'm sure matter of fact he told her that he was going to worship rightfully so but didn't give her the detail in what the worship entailed that he was going to kill their only son when abraham got to the mountain you know the lesson well he told the servant the young men that traveled him stay here i am the lad go in yonder to worship and we will return although he knew in his heart for the three-day journey that he had made that isaac was dead in his heart i would say this to you isaac at this point is about 17 years old according to scriptural references abraham is about 125 or somewhere within that region says to me that abraham was up at age where isaac easily could have resisted him but as the sheep before her share was dumb yet he opened out his mouth abraham gets isaac to the mountain isaac carry the word on which he would be crucified or sacrifice or reflecting jesus carrying the cross on which he would be crucified on i want you to follow me very closely here the same geographical location historians said it's the same place fast forward two thousand years into the future where jesus died on the hill of call golgotha so i say to you the reason isaac could not die is because he was tainted with the sin disease that is destroying god's creation so he was a type in god structure of typology he represents the lamb of god that would take away the sins of the world but he also represents us that needed a substitute so i come to share with you today that the lamb of god in the person of jesus christ arrived and was crucified and was buried and rose from the dead that you and i might have life and have it more abundantly now don't misunderstand me that life that christ bore or achieve for us is not for us to live larger than life on this planet i am we are transient beings we're leaving one level of existence to a glorious level so don't become enslaved by just trying to get trappings that you're going to pile up on the planet because they have no eternal value you cannot transport your houses and it's nothing wrong with owning several of them at least you can provide living space for some of our believers that are starting out in life so absolutely nothing wrong your nice cars that's wonderful but it's not trans it's you can't transport it as job said naked i came into the world this is one note you could take you will never ever in your life journey see a you all truck going to the cemetery with a hearse because you came in without and you're going to leave the only thing that you possess is your soul and it's of great importance that you allow the law to be the lord of your soul because if you die without jesus in the central part of your being you will go to a place that he did not construct for human dwelling hell was not made for man it was not in the mind of god when he constructed this place that human dwelling would occupy it it was made for satan that defected and tried to cause a coup in heaven and pull several several of the angels with his madness but as lightning the writer state that he fell from his lofty estate and now the problem is he know what heaven is like and that's why he's working so hard to keep it from you misery love company the hell hole that he's headed to he wants you to share it with him but god forbid that any one of us should bargain with an ideal concept of that nature it's time to be delivered by the hand of this almighty god it's god's it's not rather god's will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance we play a vital role in the harvesting of the world so our desire to partner with this ministry of intercession i want you to know the 19 18 19 chapter of the book is genesis lends us with abraham having a conversation with god some say it's a theophany god showing up in a form three men visit him in the cool of the day while he was at his tent door he recognized it recognized that it was supernatural a supernatural visitation decided that he would fix a meal feed them on the departure of these three visitors one of them stop to engage abraham and here's what god said to abraham or said to himself how can i hide what i'm about to do to the twin city sodom and gomorrah from abraham i must disclose to him my intent to burn up the city and so god considered abraham to be a friend disclose what he was about to do in sodom and gomorrah abraham took the opportunity and began to intercede put himself on the line matter of fact his argument was god i don't want to angry you and that's where we've got to change our mindset god is looking for intercessors he's actually coming through churches trying to find anybody that would just join the ministry of praying for somebody else that they would deny themselves of sleep in order to bring someone to him on the act of fate while we are busy trafficking in this life the only thing that matters to the lord jesus christ uh surely you can name um many a myriad of things but the only thing that really matters to him is the soul of a human being if you're going to build treasures in heaven that is what's valuable to god the soul of another human being the never dying soul of another human being the church at large not suggesting that this house the church at large have become distance from the reality that our involvement into soul winning is paramount to god and as we are trafficking in this life and masking things and building retirement god is bleeding he said abraham the cry of sodom has come up before me i hear the cry of these sinners and i came down to see when was the last time beloved you heard the cry of your city and that it would engage you in an all-night pray-up process that you would take a day of fasting for your husband that sleep next to you and it's not safe and every holiday you're celebrating with him and he's not saved and yet you cascay that you love him how much do you love him do you love him enough to spend some time before the lord do you love him enough to say lord i'm gonna give up a meal or two in order that your word may penetrate through that thick disbelief that he has that could the excuses that he makes or she makes what about your kids that are not saved and as you're celebrating so i don't want to move from the platform i would like to because i just sometimes feel more comfortable but i want don't want to mess with your transmittal some of us we we provide all of the finery for our children and we know they don't have the holy ghost they're not baptized and as we're celebrating in the house of the lord and thinking about the goodness of god if the lord should show up now they would not make it i don't know how you can be satisfied in your own skin knowing that there is a hell to shun and a heaven to gain and you would be at ease in zion i hope i'm in the right building today and so please if you if you could just help me as i try to give birth to what i believe god placed in my spirit it is time for all of us to heighten our in you got to make sure now that you know what it is to be saved how can you hold this treasure from those that are so close to you there is no way that i can convince myself that i love my children if i never once told them about the savior so when lot left and his wife looked back she probably looked back because finally it dawned on her but a little bit too late so what are we waiting for the somebody told you about jesus somebody prayed for you but now we are at ease in zion now we are soaking up the blessings of canaan and we're living large and things are not the way they used to be i or a captive in babylon or rather persia her cousin mordecai encouraged her that she should not reveal that she was a jew literally every day preached to her do not disclose your jewish ethnicity don't tell anyone that you're jew apparently he had an insight that she didn't know that god was going to create an environment for her to become the queen of persia after vashti was dismissed from her lofty position because she would not parade herself before the drunken stupor of her of the king's noblemen he banished her from the queenship but i love vastly because at least she had integrity yeah i need to leave that alone that's not my subject vashti decided that she would not parade herself in that manner so they banished her and all out blitz was sent out in the providence to seek a new queen and esther wound up in the group god allow this slave girl to find favor in the king's eyes and automatically gave her the right of passage to become the queen of persia this jewish girl that was in disguise haman was now like the devil is trying to destroy our families was on a campaign to destroy the jewish nation and mordecai sent a text message to esther esther we need you to step up now this is against what he has taught her for all these years he's the one that told her not to disclose that she's a jew now he's calling her to recant and to change her position and esther was reluctant at first mordecai sent a strong language if you do not step up god is going to raise up deliverance from somewhere else and you are going to be in a pickle esther decided that she's going through a fast a three solid day fast her and her maids and decided that she's going to go into the courts of the king now family you got to know this it was unlawful for the queen to have an audience with her husband the king without an appointment or an invitation it would be instantaneous death for her to go into the court without being invited she knew the penalty but she said if i perish i wonder if there's any intercessor in the room that is at that stage in the award with god that would said if i perish i perish but i've got to see king jesus on behalf of my family that is being suffocated by satan esther braved the judgment of the king and stepped into the court and when she stepped in he stretched out because god touch this heart i've got to push do i have at least five minutes sir thank you esther pushed through and was able to secure an entire nation i do want to speed to this one this one really really got my attention matthew chapter 15. i'm going to try to do it conversation and decided that he was going to engage the lady i want you to hear the the story the lady said to the lord jesus the son of david have mercy on me my daughter is possessed with a demon she cannot come on her own so i brought her plight or her need to you here is how jesus respond sister jesus said and i'm cutting through read when you get a chance it's matthew chapter 15. a very powerful lesson on interceding for someone jesus said to the lady it's not meat it's not permissible for me to give the children's bread to dogs now brother i don't know when i read about jesus he's kind he's loving he's extremely polite and to suggest in a conversation with a needy woman that she's a dog that doesn't sound like the characteristics of the jesus i know sister i don't know about you does that sound like jesus to you that he would suggest that someone was a dog or you got to go beyond though i'm i'm with you yeah go beyond what the text says in its face value read between the line the lady made an attempt to get a blessing although she was a gentile according to jesus salvation john chapter 4 is unto the jews and jesus assignment family is to the lost sheep of the house of israel according to john's gospel chapter 1 he came unto his own and his own received him not but to as many as receive him to them gave he power to become the sons of god romans chapter 8 says as many as are led by the spirit of god truly they are the sons so you can have the holy ghost and the holy ghost does not have you oh yeah i i realize that's a commercial break not until the holy spirit is leading you can you claim son or daughtership because there's a lot of folks that are saying who who stole the key from my honda but they aren't living nothing that may not be proper english so and he's telling her your i don't i can't give you what belongs to the children so in essence jesus wasn't wrong because without are dogs and sorcerers but follow the storyline because the text may not reveal that to you and you may go away thinking that jesus was being rude wasn't one thing that he couldn't deny the lady there are two things folks that you need to have as a hasten to a landing if you're going to enter into this ministry of intercessory prayer second chronicles chapter 7 and verse 14 bears out what two things that you desperately need to have you need to be humble and you got to be persistent if my people which are called by my name will humble themselves you have to make yourself of non-existence self-lessness is not something that readily comes to anybody because most people are so stuck up on themselves they cannot receive the lord into their life because they're too much of them in existence so selflessness losing who you are that you might discover the glory and the blessings of god humbling yourself to the power of god is a necessity if you're going to enter into this ministry of intercessory prayer now intercessory prayer in of itself does not work by itself and this is why the pastor has implemented witnessing because one soul one water but god give the increase and day that goeth fought weep in bearing precious seeds are doubtless come again rejoicing bring in their sheets with them church we have a responsibility because we have access we have access we can we can comboly to the throne we have access so here's what the lady discovered when she could not get a miracle on jesus thou son of david she said lord thy servant he could not deny her of his lordship because the earth is the law jesus noticed that this lady was not going to leave without a miracle now here's the setup that he gave her he didn't call her a stray dog or an alley dog that had no owner he made a house for her when he said it's not permissible for me to give the children's bread to dog he made her a domestic pet and if she could humble herself and come into the house as a domestic pet dogs eat better than children sometimes stay with me stay with sin soaking up satan's drugs and all the other lifestyle that he perpetrate on the human family doesn't want me to go to heaven because he knows how wonderful it is up there so he's trying to deceive me to live a wretched life on this planet because he know when i die there is no repentance in the grave it's time to get right with god now because tomorrow is not promised so i say to you this woman demonstrate that if you had the courage you can bring a loved one to jesus because if this woman got a blessing that the demon that moment that jesus gave her the right passage to come into his presence he said to her woman i have not seen so great faith in all of israel as if this self's a moment your daughter is healed from this demonic position i come to tell anybody that but listen you have the right away to jesus because here's the difference between you and i am this woman this woman was a stranger to the commonwealth she was not a citizen she was not a child she was not a son or a daughter now are we the sons of god and it does not yet appear what we shall be but we know that when he shall appear we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is i close with this the miracle that this woman actualized had everything to do with her tenacity that she wouldn't take no for an answer not even from the lord of the heavens and the earth and she wrestled a miracle out of the hand of the lord before time something that was reserved for the jewish nation only this woman placed in scripture that god is no respecter of person but if he finds faith in the heart of someone he will respond who are you today that is boycotting the miracle of seeing your loved ones come to the lord your poor attitude at home how can your your family be saved when you are still so unchristian-like around them oh yes i guess i said the wrong thing the reason why some people are not in church is not that god is not working with him it's our stubbornness and our unwillingness to submit can't cuss my mother if she was here today she's 95 years old she's now paralyzed to sustaining two strokes lost her speech and all of her motor skills she has no mobility so she's being cared for around the clock when i was a 17 year old boy living in the streets of new york as i told you my appetite was for gang life started smoking ganja weed at 10 years old living in the streets of kingston did not something i wanted to do but those that were leading me they felt that i needed to be exposed and so i started started packing a pistol right about the same time now surely nobody in my family tree saw that god had a call on my life that i would be a preacher nobody nobody but god knew it so through that journey got to new york city and decided now that yeah i wanted to straighten up and fly right 17 years old i started seeking because i felt god was calling me i didn't know where i didn't know how to access him so i started going to the muslim mass in the isle of manhattan visited them several times i was telling my cousin that on my way up here this morning one of my last gathering with the muslims i was convinced that i was going to be a muslim because the speaker that day was so convincing that i decided that i was going to sign on the dotted line and join the muslim religion the muslim man made a mistake at his closing remarks he said we as muslims hate the white man because you would want to expose me to your religion but i can't come back this is my last visit i didn't tell him why i just told him now i'm done but what i discovered pastor is that my mother had made a decree made it made a determination that she was not going to lose me to the street or to rastafarianism my brother which is now 60 something years old had been a rastafarian since he was 15 years old and actually got baptized in his 50s in jesus name ladies and gentlemen my brother that gave up his green card to come back to jamaica to live in warricka hill in kingston to practice rastafarianism speak in tongues now bro ladies and gentlemen let me tell you a mother that if you her with a bucket of water probably would not weigh 150 pounds decided that she was not going to lose her children to false religion i used to come home late at night after hanging out in the street and i would hear my mother in her room after working a full eight hour day as a nurse i would hear her in a room at 12 1 o'clock in the morning calling my name before the lord saying lord i notice my son clayton looks like he's beginning to practice rastafarianism i'm asking you to step in and change his heart to change his mind now i want you to say this it doesn't look that way now because i've lost all my here but while i was on the college campus i was beginning to lock seriously because after the muslim failed me rastafarianism was the closest from a child as a child on in kingston i used to admire them they just seemed like holy men so i figured if i'm going to be a religious person that would be the closest so i started loxing my mother noticed and without confronting me and going crazy she took it to god i would tell you this in less than a year god began to deliver me from the addiction of smoking weed and i used to smoke this thing every day of my life i don't want you to think that this concept is firing you've just got to get a hold of it in order to bring those that are enslaved out of their situation you have access and until you take it seriously your kids are going to die in sin because while you are sleeping at the switch satan is working overtime to make sure they make it to hell and you've got to stand a roadblock between them and the devil like this woman decided my daughter is not going to die by a demon strangulation my mother single-handedly this woman that if you wetter with a bucket of water would not weigh 150 pounds have seen at least seven of her children now baptized in jesus name filled with the holy ghost and grandkids that are saved in an abusive relationship because my dad wasn't the best in the business my mother determined that she was going to go for broke if she perished she felt she was going to parry but she wanted to see i'm a preacher today because my mother partnered with god in intercessory prayer my story is long and i won't bore you with the gory detail but i'm a living witness that this power works we have got to ship shift our mindset to another level because it works it works and god sent me here deliberately i came on other business but he sent me here when the pastor opened the door for me to share because there are some people in this room that already have a burden for this ministry and he just came to massage you to let you know you're on the right street you're on the right path you've got to be humble and you must be persistent all the other lessons that i can share will take too much time so i'm going to quit prayer is humility whenever you pray it's a sign of humility because you are actually engaging yourself to say i don't know everything i need the help of something greater or someone greater so prayer in of itself is a sign of humility family thank you for the opportunity to share my brief presentation with you but i say to you it's time it's it's time for us to do something with the opportunity that the lord has given us and this word may not be for everyone because some of you already engaged in intercessory prayer but for those of us that are just on a ride it's time for us to get engaged because all of us know someone that is not saved pastor let's stand together everyone the spirit of god has been dealing with you for the longest number of minutes will you say yes to him i'll say yes lord yes to your will unto your way i'll say yes lord yes i will trust you and obey when your spirit speaks to me with my whole heart i'll agree and my answer will be yes glory be to the lamb of god you know you need the holy ghost you know you need to surrender mighty god lift your hands in this place as you worship the lord lamb of god i guess i only fooled myself when i said i yielded all if in the secret corner of my heart there were kingdoms that never fall this word went to backsiders sinner and saint holy god of israel lord we lift our hands we worship you we thank you for your servant we thank you for the time of deliverance of the world with the anointing and the potency thereof we can't respond like we always respond we must do something different today oh god almighty our family members are on their way to hell lord what are we going to do oh show us your
