we're gonna continue morning service by reading from hallelujah isaiah chapter 53 and we're reading from verse one through to the end hallelujah that's isaiah chapter 53 reading from verse one true to verse 12 hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah thank you jesus isaiah 53 reading from verse 1 through to verse 12 and it reads us who i believe our report are to whom is the arm of the lord revealed he shall grow up before him as a tender plant and as a root out of a dry ground he has no formula calmliness and when we shall see him there is no beauty that we shall desire him verse 3 he is despised and rejected of men a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief he and he he and we as it were all faith from him he was despised and we esteem him not surely he has borne our grieves he carried our sorrows yet we did esteem him straighten spit enough of god and afflicted but listen the verse that i love verse five but he was wounded for our transgression he was bruised for our inequities the chastisement of our peace was opened him and with his tribes we are healed hallelujah all we like sheep have gone astray we have turned everyone to his own way and the lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all he was oppressed he was afflicted yet he opened not his mouth he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter and as a sheep before her shearer so he opens not his mouth he was taken before prison and from judgment and who shall declare his generation for he was cut off out of the land of the living for the transgression of the people was his strength and he made his grave with the wicked and with the rich in his death because he had done no violence neither was any deceit in his mouth yet it pleased the lord to bruise him he had put him to grieve when you shall make him soul and offering for sin he shall see his seed he shall prolong his days and pleasure of the lord shall prosper in his hand he shall see all the travail of his soul and shall be satisfied by his knowledge shall the righteous serve and justify many and he shall bear their iniquity verse 12 and closing therefore will i divided him a portion with the great and he shall divide the spoiled witness strong because he had poured out his soul unto death he was numbered with the transgressors and he bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressions just want to read over about verse 5 but he was wounded for our transgression he was bruised for our iniquity the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his tribes we are healed god bless you this portion of god's holy word before you and your god i want to encourage you this morning the bible said in matthew 19 verse 29 and everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother wife or children or land from my name's sake shall receive a hundredfold and inherit eternal life i want to encourage somebody in my spirit today do not let nothing stop you from doing the work of god the bible said no mother no father no children nothing at all no latino houses should stop you from saying yes to god and to carry out the great commission to carry out the purpose that god has placed in your life the lord knows what you're going through he was in the garden of gethsemane and when he felt the pressure when he felt alone when he saw death was about to take place hallelujah to god he said if this be possible let this cup pass hallelujah to god the bible said he prayed until his sweat became drops of blood he was fearful he was worried he was in a time of pressure but beneath that i want to talk to somebody this morning beneath that he said nevertheless my god not my will but thy will be done let not this pandemic and this lockdown cause you to not fulfill your purpose in god i want to encourage somebody today not because not because we're not in the building means that your gift is shut up can i talk to somebody today not because you're not in church as usual means that you don't have a mandate to fulfill forsaken all of the else and say yes to god because he went to calvary and because he said not my will but thy will be done he went to calvary's cross and he died for you and me and that's why today we can stand and say because he lived i can face tomorrow let nobody or nothing or your pride or your job or your situation let you say no to god or get weary in well-doing be not weary in well-doing hallelujah to god because god will bless you in this season i want to encourage somebody's resurrection sunday i want you to rise up in this moment and begin to know who you are again i want you to rise up and to begin to declare the works of the lord i want you to rise up and let the power of the holy ghost be manifested in your life i don't know what i'm encouraging you week we have bible study on wednesday night we give god thanks for our teacher that comes faithfully every wednesday night to teach the lesson if the teacher comes faithfully every wednesday night to teach the lesson i think it's only fear that we come and listen and be faithful nobody should remind you it's bible study come on nobody should remind you it's time for prayer thursday at 5 00 a.m is prior i see declining but i'm i'm saying to you remember what's done for christ will last make the sacrifice so wednesday's bible study at 6 30 and thursday is our early morning prior please join get up and join us pray virgin we need to pray fight it's time to get up and fight it's time to declare more than ever who we are praise god praise god we continue our prayers at 5 00 a.m every morning on thinking that oh god he did not care but jesus knew exactly what he had planned and so as the situation got worse and as a family members of lazarus where they are complaining look how i send a message to jesus telling him that his good friend his best friend to speak was sick and we know that jesus is the one who can heal him but jesus didn't even turn an eye uh god to come to lazarus but my god lazarus gave his last breath and some people may have been losing my god their faith in jesus oh god almighty look what i've been calling look who i requested for jesus to come help me and my situation gets worse oh god almighty last i was died oh god jesus did not come still didn't come [Music] even after that it did not come so people think no that jesus did not care [Music] who you say you are you are proving not to be oh god almighty but jesus was getting ready to show them something they have never seen before oh yes oh yes oh yes yes yes they saw him god might heal a blind man days and stinking this i have to see so i can imagine you could hear a pin drop oh god almighty the crowd stood still amen because i want to see what was the next move jesus took it a little further lazarus comfort my god all the weak heart probably some people start to back up when they see the mummy start wrap up i start to move like this people start to back up because iguana that situation come to life my god so are the hopes amen praise god that we're dashed amen people know amen start to get some hope in them what is happening is that really lazarus it's a hold on somebody lose him my about trust in god oh lord we are living in a time that i think that people are more worried now than before oh god it doesn't matter what era in life they are it doesn't matter where they live doesn't matter what job they have doesn't matter but their family status amen people are worrying today oh god whether they are christians whether they are unbelievers people are worrying today oh god amen praise god and this word amen written by proverbs amen by solomon king solomon amen the wisest man to death oh god still the wisest man amen and he wrote amen hallelujah that we should trust in the lord didn't say trust in another man trust in your husband or wife did not say trust in your job in your profession it says trust in the lord amen with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding took it a little further and said but it are thy ways acknowledge him acknowledge the one that you're putting your trust in amen and this same one he will direct thy path amen praise god so here the the tanakh the hebrew bible broken down into three parts and then you have the torah everybody know that i call it the pentatosh amen that is the first five books of the bible amen praise god written amen by moses and then you have the never him that is n-e-v-i-i-m which is the prophets talking about the early prophets amen like joshua and um samuel amen um and then you have the latter are the later prophets which are isaiah jeremiah ezekiel amen and the minor prophets amen habakkuk those are minor prophets so these are the three parts that are broken down in the tanakh which is the hebrew bible amen praise god hallelujah and so here the bible says that we should trust in the lord with all thy heart and lean not unto their own understanding so the question will arise what is trust uh many people have different definitions of trust amen some people don't say trust is faith amen these two things these two words are really synonymous yes amen but i think one is a little stronger than the other amen and so trust here is defined amen as a firm belief a firm belief in the reliability lord jesus a firm belief in the reliability or the ability of someone or something no it did not say a slight belief what a firm solid a strong belief in the reliability my the reliability oh god or the ability of someone or something my god knowing one's truth is a firm belief in the reliability of someone or something it means then that there is no doubt in this thing in this one what they can do their capability and so whatsoever this one says whatsoever this one will ask you to do you will not hesitate because you have a firm and a strong belief in this one that he is reliable oh god trust the hebrew word buttock be atak i mean as it is used in deuteronomy 28 and 52 amen which speaks about um the confidence that they had in the world that surrounded this city and so the conflict that the people had in the world is that nobody can breach this world so it doesn't matter the army that is outside it doesn't matter what they are doing it doesn't matter how strong the army is they have more confidence in the wall that surrounded the city because this wall aim and it said that two chariots could pass on this wall without even touching this wall was very thick the city was very secure and saw the people they trusted in the security around the city amen this word but talk here that speaks about trust that is all strong ones trust ought to be in the lord one must be secure one must be sure amen that the god that they serve amen that if they trust him he will not cannot fail them amen it is true that trusting means confident in someone or something then it might be fair to say that everyone trust in someone it might be fair to say that everyone has trust in something because people amen praise god may not trust so much in god but they have more confidence in someone else and so you'll find that laymen people's confidence immunity trust is rooted might be the prime minister it might be rooted in um the in the mosque some might be rooted in a color some might be rooted in green some might be rooted mighty god in a vaccine some mighty god might trust in um the green color are the orange color and then some people had trust in the done of a community amen praise god amen and some may trust in their money some may trust in their job so may trust in their husband so may trust in their wives amen but there are a few people who still trust in oh god it is not just a word of mouth we're not talking about a god that doesn't have a track record we're not talking about someone who may have been um what do you call it successful 90 of the uh times not talking about somebody who has a 50 track record success rate or a 95 success rate we are not talking about somebody who have 99.9 percent success rate we are talking about a god who is infallible a god that cannot fail a god that stands by his word a god that when he makes a promise he keeps it he has been doing that from ever since and he's still doing it now so the fact that this god has not changed where has our trust gone what has caused our trust to diminish oh god is he not still the covenant keeper isn't he not still the self-existing one the god that before anything ever existed he was and so everything that comes after was created by him and so if he creates it he have more than control over these things he knows what to do with these things he knows the breaking points for these things so why is it that you don't trust him a god that is omniscient a god that is omnipresent a god that is holy and just a god that is righteous where has our trust gone i can understand if you are dealing with somebody who their track record does not speak for themselves but it's a different situation that we are dealing with here we are dealing with the one true and living god the god which says let there be and there was and so if this god still lives and reigns and rules why would we not trust him what situation has developed or could have developed that this god can no longer deal with it oh god there is no time there is no space no matter no dispensation that can cause this god to change times change things change people change but god does not change oh god the same god of abraham the same god of isaac the same god of jacob is still the same god today why don't you still trust him where has your trust gone oh god lord god some people because they might have um let's say a bottle of water let me the bottle of water there my god get a big one here now this buckle of water amen some people will see this bottle of water and will say oh god almighty you know send me god dead fitters oh god they're going to die for us because when this water is finished they have no hopes of even getting another bottle of water they have no hope of this battle of water being refilled but somebody else will see the same bottle of water and start to thank god oh thank you jesus have some water here oh thank you jesus i see this bottle of water i know it is small in amount but a little from this is going to get more why their mindset is different oh god their mindset is different because somebody trust in the one that provides somebody trusting this source and there is somebody else who puts their trust in someone else oh god oh i trust i've been gone because our focus has been changed our focus has been shifted we don't believe anymore that the god that we serve is still able oh god the god that delivers shadrach meshach and abednego that is the same god in the same time that we are living in and so people start to worry oh god my god almighty lord god some people never used to have certain sickness before they start get trouble with sickness blood pressure start to get high oh god almighty people start to worry oh god i might and develop all kind of sickness because they have lost hope in their god but we are here to say today it is no time for worrying the pandemic is going on so what the pandemic is going on so what oh god it does not mean that god is dead is it that god don't know that this pandemic was coming is it that god did not know that this pandemic would have been taking so many lives before this world was created god knew that this was going to happen i said before this world was even created god knew he's the only one that knows the end from the beginning oh god and mercy i said god knew that this pandemic was coming god knew that some of us was going to lose our jobs some of us god knew that some of us was going to lose our family members oh god i know i mean as humans these things are going to trouble us we are going to hurt from these things but god knew that does not change the fact that he is god if he delivered his people out of egypt and out of bondage and delivered them to the promised land how much more is he not going to deliver also that this pandemic if god decides to take us out no then so what you give god tongues that you've gone on before oh god don't worry in this time because god is still in control no time for worrying i say it's time to trust him oh god hallelujah god knows what we are made of why he made us god knows our limit why he made us god knows what we can endure why because he made us so don't cry to him whether in certain problems god knows what you can deal with amen god wants to bring something out of you that you don't want to bring out of yourself oh god god wants to take you somewhere that you don't want to go amen but god has something for you to contribute to the kingdom of god amen and sometimes god has to ruffle our feathers god has to ruffle our feathers my god when we get too complacent if every time you know what is going to um what is for dinner monday what is for dinner tuesday what is friday now wednesday what is what dinner thursday what is what in a friday and then saturday you can pick choose and refuse what you want to have on saturday then you get complacent and so you don't even start to think about god many times because you think you have everything covered amen praise god and so when you covered go down you just go back and stuck up amen praise god when your god almighty some bills come you don't have to think twice you just paid oh god i might say don't worry amen praise god and so you have everything to your comfort and so when everything is to your comfort uh boy i don't really have to get up five o'clock this morning let's turn up the ac a little bit more sleep a little longer answer your miss your appointment with the lord oh god if you have a regular appointment where jesus come to meet you amen whether it's five or six or seven or four or three o'clock amen but because everything is all right ac running amen praise god the yard secure amen and all these things you have nothing to worry about and so you miss your appointment with the lord oh god almighty so what god has called you for and when you start to drop the ball amen i don't have to do it this time i don't have to do it this way amen but god have to ruffle our feathers and so god seeing what is happening say all right lock off the valve here and then he starts to watch you one valve lock off let me see if he's going to get his attention why are you still yesterday go through lock off the other valve and watch what is happening and then your mighty helico shifting but you're not back where god wanted to be luck off a third valve oh god i might just say then somebody started say hold on now why don't you help me i know somebody started to say what the hell jesus said okay all right i have turned the other valve you know in this barely crack barely crack that vibe and watch what is happening device starts to get tight now what somebody said wall on the man jesus he said oh you start to call me now i just start to remember the things that you used to do and you stopped doing it jesus said look here in a man don't drop the ball because i have i've given you some things for your comfort give thanks for what you have share it with others and continue to live don't drop the ball if i drop the ball i'm going to have to lock up the valve them and sometimes people start to wonder what is happening and so i started to call brother monty boy what happened god wants to get your attention oh god almighty wants to get your attention why because you have turned your focus from of him and start to turn to your own thing you start to lean to your own understanding oh god almighty start to trust in your own ability start to trust in what you possess and not to look to the lord my god and so when these things start to happen god will have to take action when these actions start to be taken it's not a time for you to start to worry it's a time for you to examine yourself oh god is that our time of work but a time of examination when you start to examine yourself am i still doing the things that god has called me for and then you start to put things into perspective no man i've been dropping the ball somewhere let me get back on track you start to look back in your life and see what has been happening and start to make the right adjustments but on the other hand there are some persons who when these things happen they look even further away from the lord sad to say that persons after the money stop flowing after the cupboard start to get empty after the job has been gone there are persons now who don't examine themselves they start to say you know oh god oh they said that you oh god have mercy and instead of looking to the lord that's a boy you know somehow thomas oh god things start to get worse and they keep drifting away lost their trust in the only true and living god no you may never believe some of the people that visit these barnyards some of these people will tell you that is some of these pastors and others who take their vehicles very early in the morning before a day and come and visit them i said normal no brother so and so no sir they will tell you oh you'd be so surprised that these are the people that visit them these are the people that spend their money there and then now they come and stand before the people and telling you to trust god the devil is a liar how can you trust in another but still telling somebody to trust in god something is wrong with that oh god almighty amen praise god and so the problem exists in christendom and the problem still persists in church what a lie because people keep saying do as i say but don't do as i do something is wrong with that the devil is a liar time for worrying it's time to trust him get back to that old landmark get back to that place where you first saw the lord get back to that first love my god let's get into the meat of the matter oh lord in matthew's gospel chapter six matthew chapter six and we're going to touch verse 25. now matthew he was a jew and his writings amen was of a jewish background unlike luke amen luke was a gentile and so his writings amen would have been um written in such a way to for the gentile audience so to speak even um the the some of the names that are used in luke even though they are talking about the same individual the name seems to be different especially look at the genealogy um where uh mathew is the genealogy of jesus one starts from adam um one starts from abram to jesus and one trace it from jesus back to adam it goes back to the jewish culture and the gentile um culture um so the jews believe i know that father abraham is father abraham and so they'll stop at abraham but the gentiles will trace the genealogy all the way from adam back to jesus and the names will seem to be different but because luke is a gentile he will use the gentile names but it's the same person that you're talking about all right all right let's leave that there um verse 25 matthew was addressing many matters it was a sermon on the mount and mata was given his recollection of the sermon on the mount amen and so jesus he was speaking to the people amen and jesus said therefore i say unto you how are you sitting here whether you're sitting on the grass sitting on stone wherever you are um i say unto you take no thought for your life what you shall eat or what you shall drink nor yet for your body what he shall put on the question jesus asked them is not the life more than meat and the body than ramen know just know people are lose trust in god long time people have been trusting in food drink clothing shelter are not trusting in the source of these things i did not been for the lord you will not have strength to get any food whether you plan the farm or you work otherwise to buy food if god did not give you strength how will you find strength to go out and work so why put your trust in the food why put your trust in the drink why put your trust in what you wear and so because you have on a bruno mark shoes oh god because of an acclaimed shoes it does not mean that you must put your trust in what you wear if god did not bless you if god did not give you the strength and the ability and the knowledge you would not be able to provide for yourself and to have things to wear things to eat and things to drink have a shelter over your head so why are you um talking about your house you're not living at two-story you're not living a three-story and you live in a store the man that lives in that one room is that much different from you that live in a tree story house as a matter of fact as a matter of fact it might be that the man in the one room is much more better off than you a lot more contented than you happier than you because the man in the one room trust in god are not putting his trust in what he possess jesus knew that these things were happening and he said that look at nobody no thought why are you worrying why are you getting anxious about tomorrow oh god let me find it the interlinear greek bible says that you must not take any thought for your life what you shall eat or what he shall drink nor yet for your body what he shall put on is not the life more than meat and the body than raiment behold the falls of the ear for the saunat the birds of the ear they saw not they do not reap nor do they gather into barns come on now come on no so why are you anxious about tomorrow why are getting jittery about tomorrow why are you worrying about tomorrow's meal tomorrow's drink tomorrow's clothes that you're going to win there but some people line up line up their weeks close at this merry monday and this may we have tuesday and this merry wednesday and this may be a thursday this may we have friday and this is for the special function next month next month am i planning next month this is for next month oh god and they don't even know if three hours down the road they will still be around why are you anxious about these things he was saying to them listen the birds of the ear watch them you have seen birds you see birds gathering and storing up into bonds preparing for tomorrow every day they go and i provide something for them enough for them to eat and be satisfied back up in chapter 6 here let's back up a little bit in chapter 6 here um and verse 11 in the middle of the lord's prayer give us this day our daily bread oh god but you're worrying and you're anxious about tomorrow and next week no first one under pressure no brother a lot of husbands are under pressure because boy some other wives really overthink this thing i give god thanks but i said some husbands and a pressure oh god [Music] when the wife said look here you know say next month is so and so until monster road is so i saw when a certain death is near height by worrying and after your worry and stress out stress all the wife and stress of the husband stress all the children things still don't get better it would have been better you take some time and give some praise to god my god almighty see in the glass half full rather than half empty and giving god praise and watch god work let's let's continue and why take thought for arraignment consider the laser of the field how they grow for their toil not neither do they spin and yet i say unto you all of you sitting amen are you standing wherever you are that even solomon the great king solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these we can't talk stopped about salamanino and all that solomon poses everything amen that he had for himself solomon was not a red like any of god's creation so why are you worrying about tomorrow stop worrying it's time to start to trust god my god almighty let me jump the gun time is gone no thought verse 31 saying what we shall eat or what we shall drink our wherewithal shall we be clothed for after all these things but after all these things do the gentiles seek for your heavenly father know it that you need of these things he knows the gentile folks are sauna still [Music] jesus said but i know you have need of all these things so the question comes up if jesus knows what you need why are you worrying would you need bread and i give you stone would you need meat and i give you a snake come on no let's seal up this deal right here verse 33 says of matthew chapter 6 but seek ye first o god but seek ye first the kingdom of god and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you i'm gonna close it right here so it is safe to say those that stop trusting those that start believing that the god of abraham and isaac and jacob the creator of all things you have stopped seeking putting god first putting the kingdom of god first because if you seek him first and his kingdom then your needs would be supplied and they will be supplied according to what his riches in glory oh god we have lost our focus we have lost our direction we have lost our trust in god and we start to trust in ourselves trust in the things of the world rather than trusting in god oh god let me bring it home right here jeremiah 17 verses 7 to 8 says blessed is the man that trusted in the lord and whose hope is the lord for he shall be as a tree planted by the waters and that spreaded out her roots by the river and shall not see when he'd commit but her life shall be green and shall not be careful in the year of drought neither shall cease from yielding fruit when you are planted by the rivers of waters you no matter how sun hot you ever go by riverside yet clear whole sun hut you see the trees are planted by a river evergreen leaf ever spread out my god roots deep lord of mercy i said when your roots are deep when the heat comes when drool comes when pressure comes my god have mercy there's no need to worry because you are anchored in the source your roots gone deep down touching the water table so when over top dry your roots anchored down at the water table you're getting from the source and you are still flourishing can jesus provide a table in the wilderness of course he can why do you worry why are you worrying there is a gaussian there is a gaussian in egypt oh god of mercy so when the
