okay but it's a lot of stuff that apparently people don't talk about and they what like fertility issues okay you know people like they'll just met I and I had a baby and I'm 57 right yeah you know or or even talking about you know sexual assault sexual harassment like things we don't talk about as we're seeing so I put together a collection of essays that I thought could actually help people help you through you know laughing help you through you know deep dives into some dark issues or help you kind of reexamine some opinions that you might have had that I hope to change what was it like pouring your heart out onto the paper like that because these are personal kind of essays talking about life experiences you've been to what was the process like writing it it was most of it was in therapy so um well no it was like I wrote it for my therapist I didn't think like America and the world would see it was like yeah sure like I was like I wrote it as homework but I'm like yeah I don't want him to judge me right so I only shared like things that I thought like he would still like me very much I need people like so um so when I got approached about writing a book I was like I do have all this stuff that some of which I haven't even share with my therapist so out of its inner mm-hmm opening it was a reception and book been so far unbelievable I mean I did the the New York Times bestseller list came on again yesterday and I was I hadn't moved actually I sold more copies in the second week I think especially right now people feel very isolated a lot of people are suffering and they feel like the book is like [ __ ] I see you man I see you I see what you're going through and you're not alone and so that sort of I think what people are responding to those oh and it says we're gonna need more wine how much wine should I smash before every this book should look like half a bottle man well I actually tell you when age you should move into tequila so I I hit you with the okay now this is like a Chardonnay maybe a Pinot Grigio will stop you on block and then we go into like malt ball backs and Pinos and I'm like this chapter straight tequila what's your wife choice mama or my own wine vanilla pudding sold exclusively at Total Wine knew Oprah I want you to start a magazine called Gabby and you be on the cover every month why just talk [ __ ] about just show people like your turn you could yeah I don't have turns not yet I have collard greens where I haven't moved to like the turkey neck I still like use bacon grease and a ham hock where I basically try to kill you and every episode with like like recipes that will give you diabetes and heart disease you can't lose a leg off a dinner I don't know if it was the worst movie you've ever done the worst I mean there's what will be like when it comes are you like you're any wonder I was like damn I just did that for the check because I'm trying to get in that territory you know what 8g double hockey sticks yeah yeah it was for the Disney Channel and okay because I know so much about hockey and our people are really hockey this is so they thought who could we make be an an angel sent from Jesus who's a double agent who also helps hockey teams win and yeah so I played the Archangel was real because it was and I helped a hockey team win and that's probably why Jesus was came back people are crazy I thought this this chick is gonna clear there you go so here I go hey up to Toronto or no Vancouver it was you're in the legendary movie is right up there with Gone with the Wind bring it on whoo yeah you got to ad-lib some lines in a movie you got to switch clients was it was it like a table reader you were like not it should his [ __ ] corny I'm gonna say this way it was like nah this [ __ ] will get us you know protested by the n-double-a-cp we can't say that um and they were like made up slang words that I had to ask my ex-husband like what what is this and he was like they actually spelled out you know Martin Lawrence would be like yeah they would have spelled that out I'm not gonna say that at the end of the movie she ends up cheering at uc-berkeley we're gonna have to change some things so she could possibly get into the UC system right um that's ID they just kind of let me ride cool do you remember the choreography from now not at all no but people often they assume that I had it down when we filmed it and B that I still remember almost 20 years later somebody thinks was it like multiple and they hated me and I could feel I could feel the energy shift like when it's like about to be lunched and they're like we could all go to lunch if take 37 decison can you jump straight up just straight up jumping you see a lot of close-ups yeah of my face and then it might go there's this much space between mm-hmm there's looking at you you want to toilet you're like oh no see in here I'm sure and then they wait yes I'm trying return emails you know I'm trying to do that business again perhaps you know I'm quite regular so like I'm not it's not gonna be a quick one right Oh Jo and there they're in there they're just way in so that's that's not a good time yeah don't
