well there was a situation you had with R Kelly and Aaliyah correct and this was right after R Kelly married Aaliyah right this is the this is the most I don't think I ever told nobody this story it's produced by Robert Kelly cool and she's what like 15 at the time she's probably 15 16 if that they come in we're in the Hamptons you can go back and look at this interview I don't tell lies I only getting you know I'm getting like a great interview from her and stuff and she's opening up cuz she started out kind of shy and so so I'm saying Robert what was your inspiration um on this particular song he was saying a few words got his thing go back to leyah it's going real good too SC interview's over cuz you know back then the record people were standing right here listening and and make sure the car I'm sitting there watching them get in the limo right I'm like what the [ __ ] C to what did you do what what happened what happened Bill what happened Robert Robert is leaving he's upset about what what did you do Bill Robert said the interview is over so I'm sitting there like yo I don't know I'm just sitting here we we was just about to talk about the third or fourth song and then my man got up what the [ __ ] right cool everybody's Whispering there's do slamming and [ __ ] cuz the executives are hot cuz they all the way they came all the way out to The Hamptons and the interviews over cuz they're trying to promote Aaliyah album and and and Robert is not having it cut to just so bugged out I don't think I ever told this story all the executives of MTV we go in a room they're doing this what was exactly said they're going back they're going back looking at it because this back in the day you can see the video and you can see the numbers they're going back and we're all looking I don't see anything I don't say anything that's the [ __ ] I was trying to tell you ain't nothing happened cutu Robert got in his feelings about it I didn't know what was going on maybe it was one too many Kik Keys maybe she laughed a little too hard on one of the little jokey jokes but I'm a comedian and I'm I'm doing an interview I'm not trying to holler at this girl she in the ninth grade bro come on bro come on bro I'm a grown ass man bro let's keep this [ __ ] a buck right oh that was a com of the day right there in the nth grade in the ninth grade bro let's let's just keep it 1,000 right so so now uh she I think she's on job she's on job yeah yeah uh uh uh her her manager is uh Hankerson uh Barry Barry is it Barry henerson something like that he was a manager at the time everybody's like Bill don't worry about it it's fine it's fine we'll get to the bottom of it get to the bottom of it you're fine you're fine we're going to we'll settled we'll figure it out later come back full circle truth of the matter was Robert got in his feelings about it he killed the interview I see Aaliyah she's like B I love you I'm coming back no problem it was a little weird I'm sorry are cut to then all the stuff start coming out later they had just came back they was actually married at the time yeah they was literally supposedly married Bro like on the low low so they on they baby honeymo so you can't do you can't really talk to nobody when you're on their honeymon but who the [ __ ] knew that she's in ninth grade she's ninth grade how the [ __ ] I know anyway so I I talked to uh Leah's brother I became very very close to the family so they was like Bill you were fine blah blah blah we love you matter of fact we bring we swinging back we coming back if you go online you see me and aiyah we did a bunch of interviews and stuff and she was so cool and he didn't come to those obviously but she was mad cool I love her to death and that that's a true story facts
