Phillip and Holly Giggle Through Entire Halloween Costume Segment | This Morning

so first if you've been struggling to make a decision about your Halloween costume this year then look no further debbie assures hair with her quick and easy guy to unique outfits yeah in fact it's so easy all you need is a cardboard box I and copper box is very important we had a deep freeze delivered when I was little and I lived in that box for a fourth I mean these are brilliant I have to say really simple because it is every parent's worst nightmare you suddenly go oh my gosh it's tomorrow they need an outfit what do I do that's the thing you think using cardboard boxes are probably things that you've got at home already anyway but it's always the last-minute thing with goods yeah so maybe you haven't got time to go out to the shops and buy anything but ultimately it's fun it's so much more fun decorating boxes and creating things with the kids then just limping out to the shops anyway so you're gonna talk us through some of these now and wait about painted boxes to be in with painted boxes and boxes decorated with things that you expect it's big thing is it's just painting a box yeah yes okay I've made this into the Lego bricks by you saying yeah these are just paper plates yeah so paint them the same and then glue on the front use a hot glue gun if you're going to use a hot glue gun don't use it anywhere near the kids because it is very hot otherwise you can just wet glue them or even stick them on it really doesn't make a you're going to need to put a hole in the sides for arms and a hole in the top for a head I put it on the child first of all and then just mark where they're going to go and of course different sized boxes for different sizes so very simple lutely let's take a look at jazmine first of all jasmine is our lady leggo look at you oh you look fantastic just miss five years old and she's Dracula leggo so she's got a Dracula makeup but you can see it's just two boxes five paper plates and painted it's as simple as that but so effective and they don't have to be scary outfits they just want to be fun out yeah but we've got more ideas we've got teddy coming up [Music] [Laughter] so again painted folks this one's got little strings over the shoulders to hold it in place and we painted a plant pot for his hat with just a little bit of elastic underneath there but that really makes it you could make it a bit more scary you could put spiders and cobwebs and things yes and if you wanted to I'm just coming in next and she's our letter to Dracula so it's with amber people love their makeup the the stamps and the pictures on the box have all been just taken off the internet just printed out and just a converse so effective it is but it's it's so easy and it's so much fun so no straps on the inside of this one to hold your time you simply put some tape over the back give it a quick spin around because we've got a picture of Dracula on the back there as well there we go and then fine in this section these are the really easy one this is Isabelle years old turn on that way and she's an x-ray and again I painted BOTS just simple paint a box and this is painted in chalk paint but blackboard paints so you can chalk the design on before you paint it or you could short names you could just refer to a different kind of chocolate thank you really easy so just Minh thank you very much well done you I you look fantastic thank you so much hope you get it you go all things don't worry about that don't worry doing my job you look amazing so then something bit more challenging maybe it's Darcy and Wow do not open the box oh that's clever because you're not quite sure what's going to be inside here the caution keep out the chains they're from a DIY shed and that they're only plastic so they're really lightweight right I like the white decorative ones that you put around your garden and they've just been spray-painted and then put paint all over your hands and put bloody firm fingerprints all over the box and just you know open up this again and then a jack-in-the-box is Sepp said and I see these you're adding little bits on these getting more complicated it's getting a little bit more can you move a little bit down here a little bit for me that's it that's it thank you very much so with the boxes tend to fold into the center so I've taken the top of the box off and made one big lid out of it yeah so if it wasn't for the Hat soap could actually crouch down and then pop out yep his hats made out of just a piece of cardboard rolled up and taped basically with a couple of pom-poms on the front and then they put elastic underneath to hold it on so that keeps it really nice and secure but again it's just simply been painted these that there's really quite easily so sorry it's great to have the kids involved in things like this is here well it's nice because they're degrees of difficulty or degrees of time yeah if you've got a bit more time but if you want to be quick then there's nothing like a box and Legos so cool anyway yeah and you know you only need to paint paint up yeah yeah you could even paint on the circles you don't have to have the paper plates for it as well okay so our next one is a little bit more challenging oh I often go a little bit more challenging maybe a little bit more of a difficulty level reason the reason that you're you're in this one is that it is slightly heavier it was proving slightly heavier yeah for our model so maybe something for someone slightly older this one so slightly older or if you're going to make it for a smaller child then use a smaller hoodie this one's stuffed with bubble wrap we're getting your box when it was delivered anyway but we do have a piece of cardboard straight at the back to keep it upright this otherwise you find it's too soft and the whole thing falls out a little bit yeah inside the the hat or the hood is a balloon and we've just put a scary much you know I think these masks are scarier than like the monster layer there are the ones with the teeth and everything yet so maybe a bit too scary for the little kids anyway but really again it's so effective it really is and stuffed around that the sleeves again we've bought some gloves with the they're actually glow-in-the-dark with the skeleton I think so that could be quite fun try and wear trousers the same color as the hoodie tends to work better and if you lean forward very very slightly then it looks even more like there's a yeah and you actually hear that wherever you but again basically it's still just a cog just can't really good because you can see myself doing it yeah some types of crafting you go I'm never gonna be able to do that but these are all very effective they're now all over with a king of seafood Rick Stein you never thought
