up y Shuffle and in this video we're going to go over the hero paths for dd2 make it tier list this is something that's been highly highly requested and thankfully someone actually look at the name here Pablo escalator thanks man for making a good path tier list template but uh you know i' I've been on the computer a bit today and my eyes are kind of hurting maybe it's the blue light so let me face and they are blue light blocking glasses we'll start off with some scientific facts such as the fact that we spend almost 8 hours a day staring at screens between computers phones and the like likely and a lot of the side effects that happen from blue light exposure are things you've likely experienced such as headaches I've gotten those eye strain I've also gotten those and or gotten that I should say and disrupted sleep eye strain and headaches that become migraines are the two things I commonly get especially because I am at the computer for 8 to 12 hours a day so a product like this bottle of sleep gummies these are made with melatonin melatonin is something I commonly take so I can attest to the effectiveness of it and so they sell it if you want to pick it up alongside your glasses and hopefully get away from from the compounded issue that usually happens so you get your your eyes messed up from being on the computer all the time your sleep gets distorted and then you wake up you feel worse and you stop to look at the computer and then you feel even worse and then you sleep even worse and it just you know becomes this really unfortunate cycle using gmg's product these two is that other types of glasses that do the same function they usually look really strange cuz they have like the super yellow tinted glasses or whatever these just feel like very light tinted sunglasses you know none of the colors really dist distorted just a bit muted so that really helps with the blue lights and such plus it comes with some really you know cool extra stuff that you can get such as you know you get this nice microfiber feeling cloth to help wipe down all the dust and stuff and this thing is nice and compact as you can see right it's very thin but it actually expands it's got a few different sections and when you put the glasses in it it safely tucks them away and then makes this nice triangular pyramid type thing and it takes care of them so I think this of the video I don't know why but like the funnest part about doing these is the segue I don't know I derive too much enjoyment from that so let's start with plague doctor all the characters are in order in terms of how they appear at the crossroads I'm going to try and go a little bit faster than I usually do because instead of 11 characters we're technically talking about 33 all right so in terms of tiers we have the best every character should have a best one we have good and that's going to be probably the bulk of them and then we have XD which are just like why do they exist and we're going to get started with plague doctor as I said so with Ed you can see here the first one we're going to talk about is Alchemist he get some light res piercing a bunch of resists and you lose some HP I feel that this is going to be her best one and that is primarily because having any form of resistance piercing I guess spoiler for later is very powerful this is akin to having something with bonus accuracy in dd1 the RNG in these games can be very brutal so anything you can do to boost the consistency is usually the best thing to do and Alchemist helps with that the other thing that's good about Alchemist is PD gets to sit in rank four four she doesn't have to fight for any space there you know if she's surgeon we'll talk about now then she has to usually be in three sometimes to if you're feeling spicy but otherwise even with surgeon besides it having the best outfit we can agree with that right does have the best outfit you get the bonus melee damage which is for incision you get the bonus life which is never bad even though you don't have the res piercing on play Grenade this still does damage on hit so you can death armor with it which is nice and then you have magnesium range which doesn't get affected at all then her two heals get boosts which is never bad so I wouldn't say it's her best one but I definitely feel that sergeon is good it is very good I mean if you if if we had more rank four heroes or a lot more consistent ways to reach the enemy backline than play Grenade honestly this could be the best one no joke joke but currently as the Game Stands it falls slightly short of Alchemist the final one is physician let's going to the XD tier and I want to clarify anything I put in the bottom tier is not unusable you it's not like you can't win with it okay this is just for the sake of discussion and the enjoyment we get out of talking about things okay so don't don't flip your your skull or whatever just because you know something's in a place you don't agree with but for physician oops oh god oh that's terrifying sorry something with OBS right there position on its own is not a bad path it just it's a really good support path and it makes emboldening Vapor super good like emboldening Vapors is probably the winner of this you'd think it's disorienting but it's not it's I would say it's emboldening because is getting two strength Baseline and then upgraded to strength and speed that's actually very good you know a lot of characters won't be able to spend both strength each turn so if you have it upgraded you can jump it around to people and keep boosting them that's fantastic this Orting blast gets a bit better but it's still I don't know my my main issue with disorienting is the weak and being conditional honestly all the other stuff is fine I just I really don't like is 25 is would a guaranteed weaken token be too much for this at least with physician I don't think so yeah so we're putting it in the XD tier next one we're talking about is night sworn grave robber this one's pretty good and with night sworn this is my favorite path of hers to run cuz I like the fade lunge builds of the dd1 era and this one for grave robber is pretty solid the issue night sworn because you get the Boost of damage on lunge pette and then also when you're in stealth so you can like double the damage you can also do Shadow fade or dead of Knight into pick to the face or a range attack right that's kind of cool and you lose HP but it's not too big of a deal with someone that can go into stealth and Dodge but the issue with night sworn is primarily that it wants a lot of M three points you know it wants your it wants P upgraded it wants lunge upgraded and ideally it has a team that lets it double lunge so you have grave robber lunge up from 4 to two and then someone moves in front of her like Rampart manat arms and then she lunges again and that's not difficult to pull off but it is troublesome especially for players unfamiliar with making dance team but it's okay next is night not nights horn Venom drop this one I I I got some we got some discussion going on my last tier list about Venom Drop and uh know sportsy and Ila specifically we're praising it and I'm going to put it in good it's not not the best path it has issues doesn't mean it can't pop off doesn't mean it's unplayable especially if you get something like foreclosure notice so you're getting the bonus combo and stuff or trying to think of another trinket that synergizes with it I mean this could even be used with misstep you know just to give her some bonus life CU you're going for the light damage but there's a lot of possibilities there but also the thing that really I mean the main reason night or not Nights night Venom Drop kind of suffers is really that minus speed the rest of the stuff I honestly don't care that much about if you're in stealth you get bonus blight which is nice and your movement skills give you res piercing so if you want to do something goofy like that you can do that you know like Shadow fade get the double stealth throw the flashing then lunge I don't know why you do that but you know probably flashing twice but you can do it if you want to but it's it's not a bad path it's just the minus speed on average especially later in the run when enemies are ordained and possibly hastened or whatever then you're first tick of blight usually goes out if you Shadow fade on turn one by turn three and that's just really slow or a damage path the other thing with Venom Drop is much like night sworn it wants Mastery so it wants flashing mastered and probably shadow fade mastered because when this is mastered you get the speed token and that fixes the inherent speed issue it has plus a lot of the cool synergy it has with you know consumables doing more blight and stuff you really need to find them and get the skills mastered and stuff like that and then you can put out a lot of damage but as I always say you can focus really hard on one specific thing and make it good you can make anything in this game good with enough creativity enough resources I don't usually consider that a worthy re reason of saying something's good or not and then next we have dead eyee this is my favorite path for her actually no it's not night oneor is my favorite but dead eyee is the best one for her and that's really just because the damage really like you don't trade much for this you lose a bit of melee damage but uh pick to the face and lunge aren't really what you're looking for anyway cuz you have glint as a pick to the face replacement although you don't get the block pen and all the other skills get boosted for it Throne dagger actually becomes a pretty good damage option glint becomes really really good because you can you know snipe those kills especially with the death armor changes poison darts is even good on dead eyee everyone's like oh I can run Throne dagger no you're still using poison darts it just became better with this path and even pette gets boosted so you have some some fun options in terms of what you can use so the reason why this is so good is she doesn't really trade anything like the trade-offs are so negligible in terms of The Upside that this is almost a direct upgrade in several cases not all cases but several next up Highway Man sharp shot is the best path for Highway Man look at why so you go to Highway man you go to sharp shot he does basically 25% more damage all of his best skills are range skills and then he gets three speed so he can activate the sprawl trinkets that require eight speed and stuff get some closer to the extra turnoff snap judgment it's really good should have been nerfed it's not okay rog's going in XD tier the reason I hear people furiously click clacking their keyboards the reason it's going into XD tier is because get the bonus 25% damage in rank one then you're nothing in rank two and then you lose a bunch going further back and then you go oh I get repost off using Point Blank you know that's pretty cool so you get the 25% damage boosted Point Blank shot then you move back and you get the average like the normal damage repost unless you have a Frontline dance team and honestly it's just run sharp shot you want bigger Point blanks run sharp shot you're also faster being faster and being able to snipe something before it gets an extra turn is much better than having a repost that kills something when it gets that turn if that makes sense speed and damage run this game right now and if you're even if you have a little bit of damage if you're sacrificing potential speed not as good it's really just because they step on each other's toes where it's like sharpshot just does so much better for a lot of reasons then next we have yellow hand this is this is my favorite High man path but it's it's only a good one and so with yellow hand you get something that's really cool and that's I mean the bleed Synergy is nice the double cross buff is really good you lose range damage who cares because you know you know you're spamming open vein Wicked slice and stuff and then you get highway robbery steals positive tokens highway robbery at as a normal path here does not steal or I should say any other path does not steal tokens it just removes them and then it steals them on upgrade what it does with yellow hand is it'll remove two steel or copy one for steel right the term of Steel yeah it'll steal one so it removes two steals one that's three gone and then when it's upgraded it steals three that's pretty cool but other than that it's marginally useful you know you have to let the enemy buff which is a bit scary and then you have to have high man not in rank one and steal it you know and you don't need to use double cross like it's not an optimal double cross turn or whatever so threading the needle can be a bit difficult but it's still really cool when you get value from it next we got manad arms the best path is Vanguard I'm not even going to do manat arms the justice of tabbing back into the fre I have to right I didn't want to tab back into the game because really I don't need to talk about these right look Vanguard oh my goodness it's a bunch of damage and HP it's already been nerfed and it's still the best one he has because damage oh my gosh you other two are cool we have Sergeant which is good and then we also have bullwark which is good we'll talk about these you know together just it's easier and less clicks I I honestly would argue Sergeant might be in the running for his best path but I don't think people are ready for that discussion TBH so we look at Sergeant you get move immunity bolster removes weaken and vul which it normally says it does however it does it on the Target and so Sergeant makes it so it removes it on himself as well so it keeps him able to you know spam more block and stuff and then for some random reason he throws out damage over time resist to to people not always relevant because sometimes you know you're in the sprawl and it's all fire damage and you get blight res who cares but it's just a nice bonus it doesn't cost you anything and when it actually lands it it's cool then we have bull work this is a fun one bull work's a fun path so you get the minus crush and repost damage you get the shield attack skills that is rampart and hold the line those are the shield skills and with B work you get the extra 10% stun chance and then the standfast taunt I think people sleep on that that is so good being able to taunt with this thing and keep generating the extra block next should be Helen if I'm not mistaken ravager is the best path it gives damage and HP makes me sad we go to Helen I mean Helen's a cool character conceptually and then you just get this and it's like why run anything else this why P this is one of the primary reasons pths need to be nerfed or reworked because this one eclipses Wanderer Berserker and carcass if you want to win there is no reason to run something else over this that said it's very good cuz it does bonus damage Helen has a low Health passive so when she gets to half HP she does 25% more damage when she's at a quarter she does 50 so with the rank one bonus you scale that up to 50% then 75% respectively and the bleed gets cured by adrenaline rush though it's rarely an issue the other paths are interesting though just with just wish they were a bit better carcass I actually think carcass is good the issue with carcass isn't necessarily the path right getting stress heals when crit is interesting it can counteract the the crit or the crit you're taking y giving two taunt is really nice Wicked hack removing block is kind of uh forgettable but then she gets block per winded token so you can still make carcass work you know it's like oh I can't do damage cuz I'm permanently winded you can still use the bleed skills they bleed out and if it bleeds really good for carcass the issue with carcass is it's not made for this game this game currently does not favor heavy defensive Styles heavy control Styles not saying you you can't win with them I feel like I have to say that every time so people keep it in context but with that said it struggles because of just how the game is not because the actual path itself is bad and finally we get to Berserker I hate to do it but Berserker is XD tier not so much that I don't know like the the idea is there right and again I I've done very well with Berserker and stuff but it's just it boosts the bleed skills but you can't use them together unless you run some kind of dance team which I did my recent run was Rogue Highway Man and Berserker Helen and I was running it so I could you know consistently hit bleed out and then if it bleeds and move around stuff like that it worked it was a bit clunky but it worked but otherwise with Berserker it's really just cuz you can't use the two skills together and a lot of people are saying oh have the path make it so if it bleeds is usable from one and I always disagree with that I'd rather it makes it so bleed out is usable from two I think that would be a slightly better change and maybe change the bleedout targeting on Berserker to be like two to2 instead of one to one so you can hit you know bosses that might have minions or whatever in front of them and you can deal with that should be bonchan run away arsonist is the best got res piercing res piercing always wins just because its consistency we have arsonist you get the burn res piercing the burn crit and the self start or the turn start burn is resistible and the minus damage is entirely negligible if you get knitted blanket which is a class trinket gives her like 100 burn resist and then bonus burn CH or burn damage arsonist becomes insane but you got to find that so right path right team right trinket right time right weather all that stuff next one though is going to be who's next orphan orphan's good it's it kind of sucks because since the backdrop Nerf where Backdraft doesn't scale off bonus damage anymore it kind of messed up the the front rank Synergy of Orphan so now it's primarily like a back rank class you're going to shove in rank four or even three I'd recommend four obviously because of the bonus burn but you know if you're going to sh in the back and just Chuck Firefly arsonist does it better just because it's more consistent even if this has more more damage but if you run orphan and you find a spraw trinket what it the Tinder Box that gives you bonus burn chance swaper to orphin it works then the fire starter skills giving crit is actually pretty cool the fire starter gives burn to a teammate when they hit stuff so if you have like a Repose character you can get a lot of extra swings out of that fire starter uh charge and then you give her a crit token so if you want to kind of plan ahead and make sure either your debuffs from smoke screen stick your cauterized crits or your next Firefly does you know crit damage and extra burn and stuff then you hit Fire Starter the turn ahead the turn ahead of that would say and it's okay let we come to Survivor this is an XD level [Music] path I'm sorry for the Survivor Mains I'm sure they have extensive Google do documents to explain why it's good and stuff like that but honestly it's just bad if the healing skills given gets 50% bonus your cauterize you only get three charges and bleed isn't in every fight so there are times this just doesn't exist 50% healing over time given is for run and hide if you master it and even then you know run and hide it has its uses and I have actually soloed a mountain boss almost by having run and hide upgraded and a stealth trinket I think it was silent treatment so it can be really good and sometimes it can break the game but they they Nerf that actually you can't if you're like the last character now in stealth the enemies or or the heroes like either side if there's no one else no corpses or whatever you can hit the person in stealth so even that got nerfed dude there is nothing for this and your burnr piercing goes down so the reason that Alchemist arsonist were good was because of the dot reses piercing and you lose that with this so this is akin to having you know some kind of Trinket in darkest dungeon one that lowers your accuracy by 20% for doing something else it's not usually worth it what is nice though is she is she starts every combat with two Dodge and speed and historically her defenses aren't the strongest she doesn't have a lot of HP so she has to rely on run and hide and smoke screen stuff like that to keep herself safe and being able to start with two Dodge actually is pretty good and even though the minus burn chance is really bad controlled burn on the uh subsequent hits not the first hit where it says Target three you know burn the hits that come after where it's just you know burning something at the start of its turn those do not use Bonnie's burn chance so the first one might get resisted and then every tick after that is still 100% chance and that that can be nice though it's not like you're locked out of burn it's just it's it's really hard to get value out of this cuz other support paths you know they they have different stuff they can do like with physic it can hand out double strength and stuff like that even though I said it wasn't that good as a path you know the Survivor just brings nothing your heal gets boosted you get three shots healing over time you need a Mastery point and how often is like what what does run and hide heel go up to four five something like that might be five is that going to save you I mean kind of but the stealth is what's saving you most likely not the uh not the regen all right ran it a bit too much for that you know what it is I love runaway as a character and it just it hurts me to see where she's at cuz she has a lot of potential she has some cool stuff but really she just needs some numbers tweaking and Survivor needs to be changed a bit primarily but I digress soloist for Jester is good not great it's like the borderline between good and XD with jester though and soloish you get the bonus damage bleed piercing he can use both his bleed skills from the same spot so you can have some flexibility with that he loses HP and he loses speed but unlike someone like grave robber he doesn't need a Mastery point to fix that so if you want to do solo finale you just solo combo the target give yourself speed and then nuke it the turn after with finale and what I like about solos too is it's flexible you can either really crutch on the 20% bonus damage and run like direct damage Jester or you can go all in on the bleed attacks it's a bit harder to fit both but it is nice that you have that option especially the bonus crit on bleeding stuff slice off does not have its monstrous crit rate from D sadly solo okay next is it virtuoso it is all right virtuoso jokingly referred to as Jester plus and that's because this is what Jester does normally except better and he randomly gives someone stress immunity for two turns I don't know man I'm beside myself when I see some of these let's see metso metso's fun it's what sucks I almost want to put it INX I'm not I'm not I'll tell you what but intermo is fun fun is always an important factor but Meto the song skills give bleed toune gives 20% stress res even though virtuoso can give it to someone for 100% randomly and then echoing March when moving like it applies to debuff so if they move they take uh more bleed ticks and then your ballad and play out stuff kind of harmonize in terms of giving both offense and defense so there's some cool stuff with that and even though you bleed your allies and stuff with it you know you might be thinking oh well weird is bad or at least shf says it's bad because it bleeds teammates and it's like yeah it bleeds teammates when you're trying to freaking save them when they're dying Meto bleeds people when they're full HP and you're trying to buff them and stuff like that so it's not not nearly as terrifying and you can predict it pretty consistently so you need to keep bandages or cauterized and stuff you have it the other thing too is song skills is a pretty broad term so ballad tune solo play out Encore and echoing March juster has a lot of song skills and so with echoing March specifically this can double up on the bleed they hit them once they take the 2x3 bleed from the path and then they get the debuff and then get pulled forward and then they take more bleed damage what I like about this is it makes you want to use echoing March and it's something that can bully a rank four unit which we don't have too much of that in this game there are a lot of enemies or I shouldn't say a lot of enemies but there are some enemies in the game and some enemy mashes that will get completely broken up by having someone get pulled forward every turn by echoing March like a the cultists you know if you pull the the Cherub from like 3 to two you mess up the Evangelist and the Cherub and the Cherub always goes first so if the Evangelist moves in front of it I shouldn't say always goes first but it's likely to go first then cherub goes in front of it evangelist uses R judgment and then the cycle repeats so it it has some really cool applications I can't I can't say it's like bad bad you know it's just uh it's a bit clunky bit tough but it's good next we have leper I'm struggling to consider which one is best between Tempest and poet the reason the reason being I'm I'm just going to I'm going to do tempus just it's the safe pick we'll go to leor and we have Tempest you get disease immunity well technically almost immunity the cap is 95% so you still have 5% chance of getting it you get bonus shop damage in a damage oriented game he loses HP but he's got the biggest stack of HP in the entire game and then you lose a bit of speed where it's not even the end of the world because you can set him up with strength or vul the enemy and stuff like that so he has a chance of making those big hits the reason I was considering poet being the best one is just cuz poet doesn't really have a downside but I'll put it in the good tier and so poet has healing given I wish this was stress healing given too so semity would just like like full health full stress removal or something like that that'd be a bit powerful but it'd be cool then you get a lot of stun res and a lot of move res Lepard base move res is trash this is a travesty it should not be 30 right it's tied for runaway it it just shouldn't be it's really annoying that that happens but otherwise with poet the minus 25% damage you can work around that so there's really no detriment it's a lot of strong upsides because movement and days and stun like that especially with collector coming into the game is very prevalent the poet can do some good stuff for oh God I I have to do it all right a lot of cool people in DD cord red hooks Discord that like monarch I'm me it has to go into XD man it has to I'm sorry I'm sorry I like it it's a cool concept it it's fun it has issues okay doesn't mean it's unplayable let say that again let's talk about why Monarch struggles so you get a slightly bigger HP cut on Monarch and this isn't or this is more impactful than on Tempest because Monarch wants to use intimidate and that taunts leper with Tempest you don't have to taunt leper you can run revenge and just keep hitting stuff you know so that's really good but with Monarch Purge and intimidate get vulnerable which is really good for your damage dealers leper is a bit slow so him setting that up you can't really take advantage of that until turn two but it works and a lot of people think I don't like this because of the minus chop damage I could care less about that I couldn't care less maybe that's what I'm supposed to say I I don't care you know it's it's a support path the issue with Monarch right this is what thick says and I I think thick is like spawn on with it is that leper has a chance to start each combat with one or two blind tokens and so you start combat you have two blind tokens or one Whatever ends up happening and then you throw your Purge or intimidate you miss and then turn two comes around the rest of your team goes then you throw out the purge and intimidate again then it hits where you have to use reflection turn one and it just it sucks it's it's such a it it hamstrings this character so bad just in general to have the turn uh the combat start blind but then having it on a support path that has to attack the enemy to support sucks it sucks but what's nice is we can still swap to Monarch at the mountain which is where it crushes things is that it for leper we're done cool all right we're down to a cultist who recently got buffed and I'm going to say warlock is good start with warlock warlock is a really good path you lose some some HP you have a chance to get unchecked power which can be really nice if it you know gives you two right away and then you get bonus range damage which you know some of his best skills are range damage so like stars artillery and demons pull those are range attacks really benefit from that and you don't lose anything like a spirant you know you don't get the minus debuff chance so you can still use the curses and you don't even get minus melee damage so you can still use like binding Shadows so there's a lot of um a lot of stuff you can do with warlock you just have to put it in rank four where it doesn't really have competition so if you want to run surgeon warlock's a good counterpart in most cases or um run away see what's the next one yeah warlocks good next one is aspirant I'm going to say it's good it's definitely the worst of his three now I would say and if we look here a SP like it's not bad though by any means a spon's still really good get bonus damage bonus HP your curses get a bit weaker in terms of being able to apply and then you get minus debuff res which does kind of suck but you start with block plus you know that takes a pretty big hit for you so being able to use what's cool though I should say now is with a spirant you have you have like three different ways you can do it you can do the anamnesis version of it which is really fun for you know Road encounters resistance encounters anything that has four enemies where you just you know spam anamnesis and kill stuff like that's really fun you can also use the stab version where you put them in like rank three so you have sack stab which now has execute when upgraded which is very very good and then you have binding Shadows which can give you uncheck power and lower Target debuff resistance stuff so that's really cool the fourth or the fourth the third way to do this now is actually you can just put them in rank four and spam binding Shadows I don't know why you would do that an option a good option not really but it's an option okay that counts for something yeah it's pretty good and then we have ritualist this is the big winner ritualist I would say hands down is the best path now for him just because the curse has got so much better turns out when you buff the base kit of a character certain paths get much better whoa what a concept those ritualist you get the curs res piercing really good you have the bonus healing which makes weird slightly more consistent which is never bad and then your curse skills randomly give you Buffs which is nice and the crit can help you you know do something like crit mal addiction or crit damage something like that so the only thing that sucks here is the turn start vul that can actually be a little bit dangerous otherwise ritualist really cool really good like I said weird gets boosted then you have weakening curse and vulx these both got way better in the patch so vulx now gets two V on M and then it removes enemy block before applying Mastery so or before applying B on Mastery so that way it's more guaranteed to stick and then being able to get too weak and out the gate and still remove like and it removes strength it does the same thing as vulx it removes its inverse before applying the debuff so it doesn't cancel out and then you get crit removal on top of it crit's a very hard token to remove so anything that can get rid of crit is good and ritual is also very flexible so you can play it almost like a pseudo range occultist if you want to so you can still spam artillery you can put them in back and spam binding Shadows you can use malediction to melt like absolutely Crush bosses with malediction dude it's so good so I I really do think it's the best path he has okay so I like this distinction in this tier list they have Wanderer flagellant because his Wanderer is actually the only one in the game that is dramatically different enough from the rest of his paths that it should be considered its own thing and with Wanderer flatulant I actually run this quite often so with Wanderer he gets no you know other intrinsic bonuses and stuff like that but he has a really good sepsis so the sepsis on wander is pretty good and lash's gift is also pretty good on Wanderer and then all those other really good skills like Mor more deathless you can still use those so it's actually it's not a downgrade to run this it's nice but otherwise all the normal um flagellant Shenanigans still happen you know it's really hard to kill him he can still support people still do some decent damage then we have oh wait I was also going to say it's good I didn't put it in it's tier exanimate I'm also going to say is good I don't necessarily think it's his best and that is because this like exanimate really wants an entire blight team around it but it's still good and I don't what I don't like with exanimate specifically you know I was going to say sepsis but that's actually Scourge I think I might be wrong maybe exanimate is the best I mean it's got a really good lashes gift where he can you know boost himself with with crit and stuff like that it doesn't heal him too much so if you need to keep using it it's just enough to keep him alive and it's nice and if you're on a blight team you get access to necrosis necrosis is a very good skill and you can still use the heals and stuff like that so exam actually pretty good you know I had in my head that it wasn't as good as the others but it is still really good so maybe I I need to run it again I ran it a lot when flagge uh first came out but I haven't ran much lately yeah lots of light Damage Big damage path those always do well Maniac is also a good path I don't want to say it's his best but Maniac is my personal favorite it's really fun so basically what Maniac is trying to do is take tokens off of teammates and stuff with like lash's gift and is there another one that does it not not sure off the top I don't think so yeah this is like the the focal point of Maniacs so you want to steal the negatives off of your teammates and then you want to sepsis them onto the enemy and it ignores blind so has a pretty good chance of you know applying all of that unless they have Dodge there's one other really fun interaction with Maniac sepsis and this something thick found I think where you get that one trinket that stuns you if you're low speed it'll stun you on the turn it activates but you won't lose that turn you're supposed to lose your next turn so you can actually sepsis the stun onto an enemy and that's funny it's not necessarily the best thing it's not something to really play around but it is funny when it happens otherwise yeah he gets acid rain gets a bit weaker on Maniac since it's you know weaken tokens and stuff but you can also see he's in the back but you really really just want to do the same flag and stuff you want to take tokens throw them on people and then hit more and more in deathless so pretty standard I was almost going into guide mode for a sec where I was going to start talking about other stuff I'm glad I didn't then finally we have Scourge which is also good I cannot pick a best path for Damien if you have an idea of what's the best path please tell me and give me some reasons and stuff but really all four of them are good for different reasons you know even if Scourge has probably the wor sepsis CU it doesn't heal him which you know I is that like just there's even a space Sorry I pulled the mic there but there's even a space between the top and bottom text is that supposed to say heal to like you know 40% and we just don't have it I don't know the only good part about this is you can actually you can even do that I was going to say you can spam sepsis you know if they keep if they stay comboed but you can't even do that but it does give you some bonus damage essentially if they are comboed that is nice but the big thing with Scourge is the Toxic effect gets a bit stronger I can't I I can't remember what it does besides the bonus Bight damage or whatever I know it does something else I had to look it up when I was doing my my flagin guide I I just straight up forgot feel dumb yeah so Scourge it's it's pretty good I was going to say too Maniac punish has the knockback which is nice but other than that Scourge even if you want to think it's you know weird or kind of bad because suffer and lash's gift are kind of like the same thing and also kind of bad you can run one but like you don't need both even though it has like you know one funky skill that gets changed and then sepsis isn't that good it has the best deathless CU this heals flatulant and the target for a lot of HP and you can use it very early so this is like d1's redeem is yeah it's redeemed that's flagin version of the skill in dd1 where it heals him and the other person and so it's really good there and you always have more more so makes any flash on path good and I think we're down to the stall chaplain my favorite absolute favorite path for Vestal is also absolute freaking trash I hope by qualifying it and saying that it's my favorite you know people don't immediately jump down my throat about it ah and there's a there's you know primary reasons the conviction effects actually pretty nice where she gets 10% stun and move resist per token and she has to get hit so it's pretty easy for her to generate you know two three tokens in a around depending but otherwise your Mantra is clunky and still okay but like not not amazing it only heals one stress although it has no threshold your Sanctuary actually gets worse because Sanctuary on every other path for her heal stress when you target them with it but you lose that capability with chaplain then hand of light changes handle lights it's just there's no path this is good on I'm sorry it pings like one damage it gives you like a couple tokens or debuffs the enemy it's just it it's not worth it man I know people are going to say it is it's not I'm sorry but the other thing that really holds chaplain back is that you have to be up front I don't want to say you have to be up front but it's better if you're up front because you know she's more of a Frontline tank than anything so you lose access to ministrations Divine Grace judgment you still get the consecrations which are the best skills you still get uh Comfort which is okay but you give up a lot for a very very small gain so I don't think chaplain's actually that good even though it's my favorite next is Confessor Confessor is good Confessor is very good Confessor is not like a super damage oriented path but you get the turn start conviction so you always get it which is nice and it gives you debuff chance which is good but mainly is this illumination buff remove three positive tokens as I've said with people like a cultist and I should have said it with Highway Man like highway robbery takes really Troublesome sticky tokens like crit and repost oops we have illumination which can also remove it in one shot and it ignores Dodge so it's really good but then we have hand of Light which you know she you don't want her up front in this pack like this is what I'm saying man look handle light hits two people and weakens them like oh yeah I mean yop does but no one uses y not for that anyway and then you want to be in the back though for the judgement debuff and divine grace and Mantra so why are you putting her in two for this when you have like nine other skills that she needs to be in three or four for so if you ignore hand of light this path is really good and finally we have sarif of course it's the best one this is just essentially Vestal plus we can see here so we have serif consecrations last five turns consecrations and Mantra you know get those changes cool Downs five on these and then mantra heals for halflife and you don't have to ramp it up with conviction they can spend your conviction other places like divine grace or judgment but really this is just like base Vestal you know you want to put her in rank three drop the consecrations maybe drop a buff or a guard and then zap something with judgment that's what Wanderer does and this does it better so I think because of that it's the best
