Berserker BEGINNER GUIDE | Lost Ark Class Overview

in this video we're going to go into what it's like to demolish enemies as a Berserker in Lost Ark Berserkers are an advanced class Available to You Warriors that focuses on dealing large amounts of damage while staying relatively tanky they are one of the most beginner friendly classes in the game but that doesn't mean they aren't able to show skill with endgame builds later on although they don't have access to Party Buffs like some other classes one of the biggest draws is how durable they are as melee damage dealers you have decent Mobility compared to the other Warrior classes and can have some crazy DPS burst windows but you will notice you have some long cooldowns to play around with which can feel a bit clunky in general you'll have access to good stagger abilities and AOE that can Crush whole groups of mobs plus two distinct playstyles with your class Engravings if you're looking to play a high damage dealing melee class that is more durable than the Berserker is for you when it comes to your other Advanced Warrior classes the Paladin is focused on support play with shields and Buffs whilst the gun Lancer is more of a traditional tank the gun Lancer does have access to damage and supporting skills too but focuses more on destruction whilst being extremely tanky the same applies to the Destroyer which makes the Berserker the highest damage dealing class in The Warrior Pack next two other melee DPS classes you'll notice that the berserker's warrior nature makes it much more durable with also massive burst damage so in PVE Berserkers can deal excellent burst or sustain damage depending on which build you decide to play but similar to other classes you'll build up a few meters that allow you to go into Burst Mode once in Burst Mode you'll have increased movement speed attack speed and crit chance which makes you a lot more powerful when it ends though you'll have an exhaustion debuff for 30 seconds which you cannot generate any more Fury if you decide to play around your Burst Mode you'll concentrate on building up that Fury meter as quickly as possible to buff yourself up with all of those bonus stats and damage that you'll gain if you do want to live life on the edge though you can decide to use your Mayhem engraving instead and enter an exit Burst Mode whenever you like the price of this instant access though is you'll have to play with a health penalty making that much more durable Berserker feel a lot more like a glass Cannon when it comes to PVP Berserkers keep their spots as Tanki damage dealers that'll run into long cooldowns as well as some Mana issues your solid mobility and damage makes you focus on catching out enemies with that extremely heavy hitting damage that means the combos You'll Play All follow the same pattern and engage with a dash and a stone to immobilize your enemies and then following that with some pretty insane burst damage although you're pretty tanky you still have to be careful though as if you don't have the cooldowns or Banner to follow up well you'll land yourself in a bit of trouble let's take a look at the core abilities of the Berserker finish strike is a good damage skill with high stagger where the Berserker slams The Greatsword down with his high damage burst from the second hit the damage can also be further increased with the enhanced strike tripod 10 pest slash is hellblade is one of your highest damage and stagger skills which makes the Berserker jump into the air and strike his Greatsword into the ground holding it for little over a second this deals damage six times try to release the skill at the right time to add a final attack that deals some even higher damage and blows up enemies inside the area strikewave concentrates energy onto a berserker's great sword to then release it to cut through the ground you can make this skill deal damage four times in a line but to land all four hits can be pretty difficult so make sure you know all of those important boss mechanics to land this ability more consistently sword storm makes your Berserker jump into the air while smashing his sword into the ground causing A Storm of Swords to spread inflicting damage and knocking down enemies due to the flame storm tripod making the skill deal more damage whenever your Berserker is less than 50 Health this skill is mainly used by Mayhem Berserkers only Red Dust is a very important skill that can be used either as a self or party Synergy buff Landing this skill marks your target to take additional damage so make sure you always use it as your rotation starter as soon as you've closed the Gap to your enemy as with all classes the berserk has access to two main Awakening abilities chains of Vengeance releases chains of energy that inflict damage to surrounding enemies several times you pull foes in to deal some damage to finally land a massive explosion knocking all core enemies away while stealing even more damage this is also a gray skill to charge up that Fury meter berserk Fury infuses your great soul with power to create berserk Fury and deliver a powerful strike you need to charge this skill to complete berserk Fury and the Damage will become more devastating at higher charge levels your attack range increases as well according to that charge level berserk Fury is the preferred Awakening ability for almost already trade concept chains of vengeance is mainly used in PvP and Chaos dungeons every lost art class has access to Engravings that are going to focus your playstyle in one particular direction for Berserkers you can choose between berserker's technique and Mayhem berserker's technique removes the exhaustion debuff after leaving burst mode so you can immediately start to gain the fury you need and get back into it as quickly as possible this playstyle feels amazing when you're in that burst mode because of all of those free stats that you get move speed attack speed crit chance and you'll also now gain tons of bonus crit damage you'll be picking skills and tripods to fill up that Fury bar quicker but you will feel a little underwhelming whilst charging it up and out of burst mode it's perfect if you prefer feeling crazy powerful for shorter periods of time especially with your bloody Rush skill you only get access to when you're in Burst Mode you want to focus on the specializations that first to increase your Fury meter game which will then keep you in Burst Mode longer whilst also boosting the damage of your Awakening skill as a secondary start you want to focus on crit to enhance your overall damage output the other option is your Mayhem engraving which is going to remove the need to build Fury at all although as a Mayhem zerker you can stay in the mode for as long as you you like you have two trade-offs to compensate the first one is you're going to lose the crit buff from burst mode but getting a movement speed and an attack boost instead secondly you take a lot less damage but you can't go above 25 of your health total even when you're healed however this effectively makes you a burst machine as you're always in that burst mode meaning you're gonna hit really hard now all the time this playstyle is obviously a lot more punishing though because having less Total Health means you're also much more vulnerable to enemy burst but you also have other skills that are stronger when at low health for this build you want to focus on crit first because you lose that buff you normally get in Burst Mode go for swiftness secondly to increase your move and attack speed and to lower those cooldowns remember to head on over to mobolytics for all of your Lost Art needs
