in this video we're going to cover what it is to play the Sharpshooter your typical bow user class that has amazing range and a pretty flexible skill set the Sharpshooter is an advanced class that falls under the Gunner he doesn't have the highest DPS but decent stagger as well as high survivability in Rage which makes him a very reliable and consistent source of damage as a sharpshooter you'll have skills in all ranges which is why he could be played with a slow moving range placed up or a quicker more mobile and overall faster paced mid-range style of play for a starter class though it might feel a bit challenging but it's also very rewarding the better you get at the game and the more mechanical skill you have as a player so if you think the scope is dope and you're looking for a flexible class that rewards you with some great mechanical skills then The sharpshooter's View when it comes to your other Advanced Gunner classes the Sharpshooters are kind of in the middle of the Gunner pack in terms of their traits if we compare this to the artilleryister Sharpshooter is faster paced and has more instant cursing skills but he ultimately lacks in the world defense and high stagger that the artillerus brings to the table Deadeye and Gunslinger on the other hand provide more damage than the chop shooter but they also have a harder time dealing damage compared to them to add to that the Sharpshooter is able to deal damage from almost any range possible which makes them the most consistent choice to go for out of all of the different Gunners Sharpshooters are a class that deals both burst and sustain damage with their bow and arrows they build up their so-called silverhawk identity meter to summon a hawk companion that provides various Buffs and helps you deal more damage during your fights once that Hawk meter is full you better Grant you and your allies a movement speed boost as well as unlocking two more skills which are wings of storm and last rush and we'll cover that later on in the ability section their skills are a variety of Arrow attacks but snipe is your core skill that the entire class revolves around in PVE Sharpshooters have to use their close range abilities to build their identity means to use their Hawk identity and summon the Silver Hawk for large Buffs so they can start their full rotation they use their hard-hitting range skills like snipe mostly on single targets like bosses but keep in mind that using these requires good understanding of Boss mechanics making timing and positioning key or else you'll find yourself thrown around during cast times in PvP Sharpshooters mainly focus on using stealth and their Superior range to surprise their enemies with some pretty big damage then they kite them before retreating back to safety or just simply go back into that stealth State talking of stealth due to the unpredictability of this ability you can threaten backlines in a way that no other classes can do this gives you the option of either playing as a background ranged assassin or sitting back and safely shooting your arrows behind your front line and following it up whenever there's a great opportunity to do so for those reasons Sharpshooters are a unique fun and mostly sneaky class due to their stealth ability in PvP that's also why good awareness positioning and mechanics are key to make the most out of this class moving slash is your main Mobility skill that can also be used to get up close and personal as your engaging tool too to start those rotation combos the silvermaster tripod taken here makes you also start building up your hog meter much faster next up we've got Bladestorm and this is your combo extender due to its damage and CC abilities just like the previous skill in moving slash you'll take the silver Master tripod here as well to build up your identity meter ASAP so using moving slash to close the gap into blade storm is your typical way of starting a fight whilst also charging up that meter quicker Claymore Mine is your hard CC ability that you need to run in any PVP Arena it makes these Sharpshooter set up a mine at the Target location that's perfectly used for peeling for your teammates or as another way to engage and start those combos then you've got that stealth ability solver you'd always want to start a fight by not letting your enemies know where you are and there's no better way to do that than entering stealth as soon as you activate this skill you should line up your combos to create different opportunities for engages snipe is by far your highest damage skill that lets you Target and Zone in on your enemies to snipe them down funnily enough however this this skill does take a while to go off as it's a charging skill that can become a literal nuke and feels so satisfying when you hit the perfect zone for that reason you really want to pay attention to your positioning as you'll be pretty vulnerable during your charge and your opponents can easily cancel it to make you lose out on a lot of damage Atomic arrow is one of your only stagger skills that makes you shoot a loaded arrow that explodes after a short amount of time and knocks down the target hit you can catch opponents with the error but it's much easier to apply it when they're already CC so it can extend combos or try to catch enemies again after they've wasted their stand up before we jump into those Awakening abilities of the Sharpshooter let's quickly dive into the two Hawk identity skills which are wings of storm and last Rush wings of storm lets Your Hawk companion fly in a circle and deal a decent amount of damage at the Target location you want to use this skill whenever it's off cooldown last Rush on the other hand is only usable once during your identity as it will make your Hawk disappear after casting that's because what this ability does is send your companion towards a Target location where the hall crashes into and self-destructs for a huge chunk of damage just like all other Lost Art Classes the Sharpshooter has access to two Awakening abilities GoldenEye summons multiple Hawks around yourself to create a golden Whirlwind that gets stronger over time a big bonus when running this Awakening is that your Sharpshooter will also enter stealth for a good amount of seconds with the creation of that Whirlwind fenra's messenger wants you to charge your bow to summon a massive Mythic wolf companion to charge through your opponent's dealing damage over time as well you can also release this skill early to summon a smaller version but that obviously means smaller damage as well in terms of preference the GoldenEye Awakening is what you're looking for just due to being more consistent to land that full damage and it doesn't need to be charged up like fenra's messenger every last star class has access to Engravings that are going to focus your playstyle in one particular direction for Sharpshooter you've got to choose between Deathstrike and lower companion Death Strike revolves around building up your identity meter to use that last Rush identity skill before you burst down your enemies that's because with Death Strike last Rush will apply a debuff to the Target hit that will make you deal a loss of damage for the next seconds with all of your attacks that being said you want to use your identity skill whenever you have your strongest skills of cooldown in addition to that you'll get back half of your Hawk meter every time you use last Rush which is going to help you fill up that meter faster and at the same time will allow you to use your last Rush identity skill more often when you choose this engraving you want to focus on the crits that first for increased damage and on the specialization stats second for extra meter generation the other engraving loyal companion increases everything around your silverhawk and provides a few extra perks for you and your party the extra perks include extra movement speed increased AOE on your Hawk skills longer duration for your silverhawk as well as stronger Hawk basic attacks your silverhawk will also apply a mark of depth to targets which you can proc with the Hawks basic attacks or when you make use of your other identity skill wings of storm this Mark will apply a damage debuff and makes your party deal more damage to that Target if you're going to use last rush you want to make sure you're only using it just before your Hawk meter almost runs out to make sure you get the most out of your wings of storm skill and have that Perma Mark of Death uptime when you choose this engraving you want to focus on the swiftness that first to have lower cooldowns and high ability and focus on the crit stats second if you just can't decide which grading you should run you can even just use both classing gradings because the Sharpshooter is one of the classes that can stop them together without any drawbacks and only benefits that should be everything
