you've reached the final phase of the Argos fight and you're tired of getting kicked in the face well good because it's time to put the Stag behind us this phase has the most outgoing damage out of all of the phases with AOE effects going off absolutely everywhere unlike the previous events all white mechanics have random timing so you need to be ready for anything at any time there is a good chance you will go through the fight seeing only one or two of the described mechanics but you still need to know all of them because you won't know which one remember the required item level is 1400 so if you are below that and you aren't being carried by some seriously stronger friends then you should stop after phase two and just take your loot there isn't really any special consumables or classes that are ideal for this fight so given that here's what we recommend that you bring first off make sure to bring your strongest healing potions there is a lot of hard to avoid damage in this fight so you'll likely get chipped often Panacea this can remove the potential poison debuff that you get in this fight taking care of a minor nuisance there are no stagger or destruction checks so you can bring those dark grenades to do more damage during Windows of opportunity the faster you kill this boss the less mechanics you're likely to see phase 3 is one long continuous stage with three distinct states that the boss will cycle through each state has its own unique set of mechanics that need to be dealt with on top of argos's entire basic attack patterns you've seen in P1 and P2 Argos is going to throw everything at you here so be ready to get stomped kicked and lasered each state has a specific buff debuff mechanic and also a white mechanic that needs to be learned the three states Argos will cycle through are day rain and night depending on your group's damage and if you stagger Argos or not the timing of the state switch can change but it tends to be around four to five minutes per state Argos will not switch States unless he's performed a white mechanic so Argos will always start in day States but he doesn't always cycle through states in the same order again the theme of this fight is Randomness but because he starts in day and you can guarantee you're gonna face that first you should mine those mechanics the most so let's dive right into it in the day state the sky will be clear and the sun will be shining but put your flip-flops away because this is no easy walk on the beach you're always going to start this state with a slow debuff now this state is the easiest to understand mechanically there are two types of circles that will appear on the floor across the whole Arena standing in a circle will trigger an event that can buff debuff or damage you and anyone else in that Circle the red circle explodes and Deals fire damage in an area and the green circle removes the slow debuff you have now even though you want to avoid the red circles the arena will fill up soon enough and you're going to need room to dodge argos's attacks so you can walk through the red circles and keep moving to avoid damage whilst clearing them and making more space for your team sounds simple enough right well let's move on to the white mechanics then remember they can trigger at any time so you always need to be watching out for these so in one of the white mechanics two random players will have the sun mark on their heads after 4 seconds a circle which is a safe spot will be created underneath those two players each of those spots can hold up to six players two seconds later Argos will perform a jump that kills everyone who's outside of those safe spots So to avoid getting wiped to the two players with the sun Mark should stand still and ping their spots for the team to read group and stand in those safe spots remember one spot can hold up to six players the other work mechanic is fairly simple Argos teleports to the center of the arena and will start charging up a yellow dot will appear on the minimap everyone who is alive needs to go and stand in that spot if everyone is there it will grant a buff for everyone and prevent a wipe however if only one guy is a few steps away or isn't quite on the spot with the team this will wipe everybody you're gonna feel like a bit of a plonker if you're not in that spot so don't be that guy once you get the buff though feel free to move and continue dealing damage moving on to the night State then and in this state the screen will turn dark and you'll start with a Darkness debuff above your Mana bar obscuring your vision of the battlefield similar to other fights you may have encountered in and again there will be two types of circles on the floor the red circle removes the darkness debuff it's now a good Circle opposite to the last face and don't get confused the blue circle creates a poison Cloud that debuffs the player with the poison remember you can clear the debuff with your Panacea if the healing is tight so the first White mechanic in the United States is exactly the same as the day white mechanic number one except the two random players will have the moon mark on their heads rather than the sun Mark but just in case you forgot already after 4 seconds a circle which is a safe spot will be created underneath those two players each spot holds up to 6 players and two seconds later Argos will perform a jump that kills everyone who's outside of those safe spots in the second white mechanic Argos will do his usual Act of jumping to the center and Gathering energy he will spawn purple orbs all over the arena on the minimap you can see these orbs represented as blue dots you and your team need to spread out and collect those orbs while running through all of them before Argos finishes that charge up you have 10 seconds to bet them all but it's no swear if you have most of your team alive and moving on to the Rainy State now when Argos switches to this stage you'll see lots of rain funnily enough which will continually damage you all throughout the fight apparently Argos is super toxic in this phase you will start with no debuffs on you and you'll notice two circles on the floor the green circles imprison the player for a few seconds avoid this unlike during the day state the blue circles create a shield for a few seconds that protects you from the rain these ones will also be needed to prevent a white mechanic so keep your eye open for these ones so in the Rainy State there's only one white mechanic unlike the knights and day States Argos will once again teleport to the center and charger everybody needs to find a blue circle and Trigger it to avoid getting hit with argos's explosion you have 5 Seconds to find a blue circle and step in its Shield so paying and help your teammates out remember that multiple people can be in one blue circle so get cozy will you be happy to know that that's all there is for this fight step in the good circles avoid the bad circles and keep your eyes open for those white mechanics keep wailing at Argos and dodging all of those crazy explosions everywhere and eventually he will Keel over and give you that sweet sweet loot up next are the greatest and most fun raids in Lost Ark the legion rates Argos is nothing compared to them so get ready
