Bull Ring where we're going to be doing a GT4 fixed race on iRacing now it's been a while since I've driven the gt4s and I forgot just how difficult to were to drive they don't want to stop but it's a really good combination around the Red Bull Ring now I didn't know what to drive either this week I am a Porsche guy I like the Merk the Aston seem strong but we've decided to drive the McLaren and qualifying didn't go that well we qualified P6 an overtaking round here isn't easy so we've got it all to do do and as you can probably tell by the thumbnail and title we were chased pretty much the minutes that last lap was a 13755 that's your fastest [Music] lap so we pulled away from [Music] Matthew it might be close enough now now for a bit of Ascend down [Music] here [Music] oh oh was [Music] terrible that was [Music] terrible right little bit quicker though is that a clean lap Yeah clean lap you just done a [Music] 13726 how many instant points we got [Music] one one too [Music] many [Music] it's close now the Porche just doesn't have the legs com out the turn I think the gearing is just a little bit off I [Music] think half distance fuel looks good is that an off track [Music] yeah I don't like going down to third gear there but I think it helps just that a little bit of punch out the turn that you don't get in [Music] fourth that's a cracking run he's got [Music] there a gee I'm having to push here I'm having to push harder than I would like [Music] oh another [Music] one if he get in front I think we're [Music] screwed I think I'm breaking too hard as [Music] [Music] well [Music] he's going to make his move soon turn one that's where he's going to make his [Music] move up here I don't think he'll make his move here up the inside cuz it's not easy to get an overtake done here on the [Applause] [Music] inside you can see how much the Porche loses out in the straight line [Music] good acceleration like out the slow [Music] Corners so it's out of all these last two turns is really really strong which is going to put us in a difficult position it's the last turn more than [Music] any [Music] 369 from Ivan the Austin and I know he's got draft but that's [Music] Ring make him do all the work focus on your exits I'm trying Jim ball we got two [Music] Mups this is [Music] pressure [Music] just that little downshift to third there's only a few hundred revs a couple hundred revs to play with but that does [Music] help just 2 minutes left two minutes to go might make this move here car right he's still there hold your line clear right you've just done a 13737 sector 3 is 0.30 off the [Music] pace elbows out now though it's got to be elbows [Music] out [Music] come on [Music] look this is where we might have to defend going into turn number one in this next [Music] lap as this will be the last [Music] lap [Music] last lap looking good for a [Music] podium I'm feeling the pressure here now [Music] though car right still there he's still there right side's clear that's what I mean it's really difficult on the inside there to get the drive [Music] out [Music] [Music] right what you going to do here [Music] he hasn't got the Run he hasn't got the Run has he not quite right great drive that's a Podium that was tough cracking pressure from Daniel thereo cracking [Music] pressure wasn't the cleanest race eight incident points but we'll take it okay then let's check out the carnage oh where was he going in that number four Mercedes there jeez this is uh that incident with Daniel and Luca yeah nothing in that really just one of those things l [Music] one oh then all kinds of chaos behind [Music] oh he's killed [Music] himself oh blimy what was he doing there and that red merine is Cy no time for BL linkers oh another one same [Music] again oo that McLaren was noty oh Instant Karma oh jeez I think he might have been waiting there you know they got beat up off that uh other guy's mates that's Ascend [Music] jeez oh your grass model earned his money there hor is making it three wide is he no chaos no no no no no you can't do that he's waiting well done well done mate well done no time for [Music] blinkers oh if he didn't do it the first time it was going to do it the second time that's it just drive on keep [Music] going it's late oh not as late as that guy on the oh everybody's like sending it like that MC there number 28 was over the [Music] grass and that is it right let's have a look at the results so there were three splits for this race this was the top split the strength of field was 25 538 so we lost safety rating but we gained a little bit of ir rating back 32 so Michael got the win Ivan P2 we got P3 car number two started P6 eight incident points so who was the biggest winner well straight away we can see Luca who finished P6 he gained 81 and The Biggest Loser is going to be n m Martinez who finished p24 he lost 73 so there we go started P6 finished on the podium P3 great pressure there from Daniel pretty much the whole race it's never a nice experience when somebody's chasing you down and putting the pressure on one mistake and it's all over thankfully we managed to keep it on track
