Alton Park and we're going to be doing a Formula Ford race on iRacing now this is the open setup version of the Formula Ford race on IR not the rookie so it's a bit longer 12 laps and it's an absolutely fantastic combo so we have qualified for this one P2 with a 1 minute 40. 344 just under half a tenth behind pole so can we turn P2 into a race win well I think the number one car who's starting behind us will have other ideas what you're going to see here is an absolutely cracking race when I was too wide for probably more than I would have liked but before we jump on track if you scenario for us this look at the [Music] 2/10 there's an incident in Nic Brook we think it might [Music] H just 2 minutes left 2 minutes to go see you should never rest on your laurels we shouldn't have let him in front or we should have had a go back when we could too cocky too [Music] confident that's five minutes of fuel left [Music] four instant points last lap looking good for a Podium sector 2 is .4 off the pace good racing though really good [Music] racing I've enjoyed it I've really enjoyed it [Music] car number 18 has just been disqualified [Music] here can't believe I could quick his car is obviously running a different gear stack to what I'm [Music] running and I think he's probably going to bang in the fastest lap on the last lap I think this has been flying on this one [Music] we'll take P2 a few scary moments in that race few scary moments two L remaining but we'll take P2 very little fuel left yeah he got the fastest lap on the last great drive that's a Podium look at this cut like reflexes number six must have had an issue there or something going really slow [Music] you need that L plate on Damian see what happens here is number six doing that on purpose I think number six is being a bit naughty there yeah look at that what a rejoin see what he does that's got to be one of the worst rejoins and most inconsiderate rejoins I've ever seen [Music] unbelievable shocking that it's [Music] terrible where you going number seven [Music] he left the counter series a bit late there gravel did its job though was that that number six again then behind here is that the number six no number [Music] 18 he was struggling then 360 no scope extra style points if we do that that should cancel out the uh incident points in my opinion nice [Music] paint oh race over [Music] a lot of people struggling there isn't there where's it [Music] [Music] going that's why you need to rev match [Music] [Music] it's they're all over rotation aren't there or the majority of these wrecks they're just people just over rotating just not rev matching and just not balancing the car right there's another one look and that is it right let's have a look at the results so there were three splits for this race this was the top split the strength of field though was only 1,973 so we lost safety rating 02 but we gained 19 I rating so J got the win we got P2 and Javier P3 that's probably not even how you pronounce his first name so apologies if it isn't we were car number two started P2 our fastest lap a 394 beaten by the the race winner on the final lap and we had four incident points so who was the biggest winner I think it's going to be Javier finished P3 he gained 61 and The Biggest Loser is going to be Fran espo he lost 86 so there we go started P2 finished P2 safety rated loss but an irating gain an absolutely cracking battle there with Mr zor I'm not even to say his first name again cuz I'll probably butchered it but yeah a really good battle just shows when you get two people of a similar mindset you can go too wide pretty much anywhere but overall P2 brilliant combo if you get the chance give this a world it's brilliant just don't do
