I'm standing at the base of our barley pile right here I'm just gonna be taking the tires off the pit there it's pretty pretty tall and the plastics coming over a bit the tires are hanging down a bit and so I'm just gonna try and call the tires off the top there make them fall down on the ground here just make it a little bit safer I don't want to be walking on that edge too much there and trying to take some tires off this pit [Music] [Music] so I'm gonna have to hand ball all of these into the bucket there can't quite reach it with the grapple and we're gonna try and make a nice line cut a nice square piece of plastic it's supposed to be getting warmer next week and hopefully from then on warmer and warmer so we got to start doing a neater job here taking smaller bits of plastic off to make sure it doesn't rot when it gets warm out and yeah we're gonna start throwing some tires got a healthy chunk of plastic cleaned off here all right to the middle of the pit so we'll feed this section first and then we'll clear the plastic off there and take solids from there but hopefully this wind doesn't grab just Bostick and blow it way out of here now otherwise we'll be picking it up from way over there but we'll see how it goes [Music] he was been excited in the beds right now how's it being known as well these ones are all milked and the ones that are still waiting to be milked or just wait in the holding area over there there's plenty of time to do at least one row so sometimes we'll bed one row during milking time and then the next milking will bed the other row [Music] we've probably been betting in here once every two weeks or so he's doing group two right now and we can kind of rig the gates here just to drive through Group one there's a bit of a Ledge here you got to kind of drive slow otherwise you'll dump a bunch of sound right there and then this is the sand so this is actually this case here we used to scrape the alleys with inner old free saw part but when we got into this barn we wanted to bend it with sadness set of straw now we need to get a bigger heavier skid steer you know lift a little bit more so we just retired this one and we only use it sometimes we actually use it to scrape the alleys clean now if there's any leftover feed there we clean the old scraper box as well there's a rubber lining underneath there so it doesn't scratch the floor and everything but this thing I believe is you know around ten years old or so and twice a day we would start it up and rev it right to the max right away you know five seconds after we turn the engine on and we didn't want to waste any time because one guy would go do all the milking and all the scraping so this thing started for ten years twice a day from cold just rub the crap out of it and we never really had any engine problems I don't think we really had any oil leaks either it's a tough machine you like watching too [Music] motor pressure-wash this process over here where the cows walk from the first group into the parlor twice a day it gets kind of slick and crap on here when they cross over they're not supposed to but can't really tell cows act so it kind of gets a little bit of crusty layer gets a little bit slippery and some cow has been slipping on so we got a high-pressure line hooked up here it's just from the water room quick couples in right there and then we have a high pressure washer line here and I'm just gonna rinse this off [Music] so we got a special bit here for the brush wash I can just clip it onto the front there it's got a really tight stream that comes out the front and apparently this thing can cut through two by fours with the pressure of the water so we're gonna clip that on and take some of that crusty hard stuff and see if we can pull it up [Music] so I've been going maybe for 15 or 20 minutes now and well over halfway done probably two-thirds done this bit is insane I thought it was just gonna be like a streamlined little spout of water at really high pressure but it's kind of like a cone and it just rips up this this manure so it's insane we got it all cleaned off now that went a heck of a lot quicker than I thought it was gonna go but now all these corners are kind of dirty where the feet is so I'm just gonna blast them off into the many realities there and then we're gonna be done [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so this is where the pressure washer is located it's just in the water room walk in here turn it on and then it goes up into these stainless steel lines goes through the wall there and one outlet goes to the parlor that's a real in there with another hose and a gun and then there's a couple of quick couplers everywhere so there's the one over there by the crossover of course the one we were just using and then there is one right here so we can press wash this down here and then in the front corner of the parlor there there's a reel with a hose [Music] and then there's another one right here so we'll be able to keep everything nice and clean like that anyway guys that is going to be it for today's video if you enjoyed make sure to hit those like and subscribe buttons down below
