BeamNG Drive - Dangerous Roads Challenge 01 - beamng map mods

hey there how's it going David in Arc here today we're taking the hard course on dangerous roads 2 this is a map from Spencer Johnson it actually came out some time ago but I am just now checking it out and I think I'm going to attempt to do a series on this okay can't see where I'm going it's probably not good uh I think I'll attempt to do a series on this where we see oh no no no how far we can get surviving the dangerous road okay well obviously I messed that up big time so this car fell off there we go smack the tree going to I have no idea what's down here in the pit no that's that's it huh okay we're going to try this again because you know I'm new I'm I'm new here how you doing David inard all right we're going to try this again uh this first drop is quite a doozy all right let's see okay here we go whoa whoa whoa whoa oh my gosh nope did it again okay well you know what fool me once shame on me fool you guys twice shame on me even more yeah we're not going to do that so unfortunately that's the end of the Bastion for this run and I'm just going to grab a random in fact my eyes are closed I'm just moving the mouse around I have no idea I hope I'm even in the vehicle selector I click oh the stambo all right well uh in terms of stos I think we will take uh how about the 505c cuz why not I don't know let's see how the stambo fares against the dangerous road to now I would tell you my my my big problem is going to be the camera uh I can already tell that that is going to be my number one issue and I know so far based on my driving you're like dude that's not your issue uh but it is it it really is it's the camera messing with me oh you've got to be kidding me come on really okay we're going to fall down here hit the bottom and we get H any trees yep whoa oh look at there split the tree oh and slam into that one okay yeah this this this initial drop off okay what why are you uh this is not a fast vehicle at all all right here we go taking the stambo down Danger ous roads to okay there see there's a weird curve here that for some reason my brain cannot process no no no want this I swear I'm not this bad you know what I don't care let's try it again I think I might even go back to the Bastion give the Bastion another try just because this is just ridiculous I know I know for a fact I can do this I know I can it's I'm just being so stupid I need to stay to the right but that's very deceptive misleading stop do not okay so we are we we're gonna we're gonna go back this is not what you what you thought you were going to sign up for is it not not at all all right here we go back to the Bastion you got to be kidding me with this I know what you're thinking Dave why don't you take the normal track instead of the hard track and perhaps learn some ways of the force before sending yourself kening down and I'll tell you why because I don't want to I want to make this work okay okay here we go here we go all right okay easy easy there it is all right I feel a little better now I mean we've made it to this first initial uh climb oh getting a little back end slipping out a little bit there we go all right we we can do this up the other side now is this the peak I bet this is the peak this is probably the highest point or I guess technically this might be the highest point we'll get to or maybe this is the highest point I have no idea uh okay where are we going over here all right now the rule for my own creation of this particular downhill challenge or I and I say downhill I'm assuming I'm going to end up at the bottom I have not even seen whoa whoa that was a little freaky uh I've not even seen where this map goes or what this map does I loaded it up and decided hit record and let's just see what happens but I'm assuming we end up down at the bottom I mean that just seems logical to me uh but uh we we'll figure that out as we go okay we got some outcroppings here I'm going to have to be oh okay all right we're going to have to be careful of these because I got to make sure that a I don't get hung up on them but also uh I got to be careful that I don't rip things to shreds because I mean I it seems like it would be very easy to just let things ride when uh we've got a nice comfortable position on the track and we just you know hey Coast on down or even accelerate down through it and then the next thing you know we bottom out or trash the car or something whoa okay kind of like this oh how I didn't go flying off the edge I don't know this is so spoopy all right there we go nice coming and where I thought was come on you can do this there we go there we go okay I can tell you right now we are going to be in a lot of trouble uh cuz I'm guessing that probably wasn't even the worst of those but that was no am I hi come on okay you know what we're going to have to turn off the uh electronic stability control I did I high centered myself that is ridiculous come on come on come on many Cricket come on there it is stop stop stop stop stop stop stop stop stop stop stop okay I I just oh come on dude what is this okay just Ease on Down whoa whoa whoa Ease on Down Ease on Down the Road Ease on Down he's on down he's on down the RO all right here we go there we go come on you're going to have to get up here stay to the right oh this is not going to be good that's not good at all hey you know what we did pretty decently unfortunately oh that is definitely the end of the Bastion and and I'm not going to attempt the Bastion again instead we will pull up a different vehicle I'll tell you what I think is going to be a a decent vehicle for this and I think it's honestly going to be like a tog rack um do we have is there like an off-road tog r i mean I guess maybe a rally yeah I'm thinking maybe uh I'm thinking maybe this rally here I mean it's gravel I'm not sure how that's going to work we'll try this anyway let's just see how this goes this is technically the Third vehicle to to attempt and and I think for now I think that's how I'm going to play this now if it turns out that uh you'd like to see more Vehicles attempt it per video then we can look at that or uh I guess even if you want to see less if you want to see like one vehicle per video I I I'm not sure how entertaining that would be but I think I'm going to shoot for three vehicles and each vehicle gets three attempts I think that's what we're going to do I can't remember if the stambo actually got three attempts but I'm making the rules up as we go in case you couldn't tell which is usually how I do a lot of my stuff I figure it out as I'm doing it which is you know we're just kind of fly by the seat of our pants you know all right so we're doing very well here so far pretty well anyway I do have a concern uh about a couple of areas one I think is this drop is it this drop no maybe it's the maybe it's after this next Hill yeah no this one's going to be okay no well maybe not okay I kind of thought the front end might bump there and we might have an issue I think it's not this one but the one that we see coming up that could be a frontend issue yeah this is this is this one oh yep because this drop is so steep right in here I'm afraid that if you just rip right through that you will tear your front end to shreds but so far we seem to be managing okay once again we got the outcroppings on this side we got outcroppings on this side now I will say theor theoretically the more I do this and the further along we get then the better I will be at doing this he says as he nearly goes flying off the edge um just because I will I will learn the terrain and I will better understand what I'm up against uh as it sits right now no it's not it's not a thing although I mean it's definitely a factor because we know what's going to happen here this I'm very worried about this H do not oh oh that little rock that Little Rock likes to send the vehicle out to the side that's a fun little trick spieler all right so this is do so I don't know how you'd get a vehicle much wider than this to be able to make it because how would you navigate these particular very narrow Pathways I that I just don't see that happening uh with with a vehicle that is much bigger than this one I'm not sure that the uh Bastion would have made it through their regardless all right so now we got a very sharp come on a very sharp turn this way okay all right here we go up this hill Oh oops oops oops oops sort of not paying attention what in the world do you got here no let's not send it over is that scary here we're going to do this is that scary no not scary at all Dave not at all oh no oh okay let's crank this bad boy around oh no no no no I got too comfortable well that was attempt number one in the Tog Rak and that not pretty at all all right let's give it another shot see what happens here once again I'm I'm taking the hard route uh because I'm a glutton for punishment and I'm stupid I I would not recommend doing this for your first time out uh I would also not recommend doing this if you've never done it before and you want to put a video on YouTube just just saying I it's this is not the doctor's recommended prescription however this is the prescription that you're getting from Dr Dave David inar here we go all right so I'm getting a little comfortable with that that's not bad we're tearing the front end up a little bit but that should be okay I don't think that's going to be too much of a problem as we come up here and continue our oh okay dude what am I doing I'm overcorrecting and then not fixing the over correction in time while also accelerating so what this video is really going to be is a what not to do how not to do this and we are now on on the third and final attempt for the Tog Rag and uh I don't know I'm I'm thinking that perhaps perhaps uh this is going to be a complete and utter fail Series so there you go hope you're along for the ride quite oh literally what am I doing I'm just I don't care I'm sending caution to the wind we're just sending this bad boy flying calling it good right all right so I need to be careful I need to slow down I need to take my time if we are going to accomplish our goal of getting to the end whatever that end looks like honestly at this point I would just like to make it past the point that I made it on the togra first run that was the furthest run yet by any vehicle that I've been driving all right here we go okay we're okay everybody's good here we just kind of Coast down through here whoops put a little break action there that's all right that's okay yep that's you you can jostle oh I forgot this is oh no no no no no come on wait can I oh no that was my own utter stupidity ah that was so dumb man that was dumb oh and we wrapped it around a tree we almost got a fail race flag out of it unfortunately we are still on the ground by one tire and that's the end of the run for dangerous roads 2 on B and uh as I said
