Be Careful What You Order From Facebook Ads

so the other day i'm scrolling through facebook and i see an ad for a sweet mandalorian helmet [Music] and i think to myself okay now that's kind of cool but then i'm like nah i'm a grown man i don't need a mandalorian helmet that's for kids but then facebook decided to convince me otherwise and then i started seeing the same ad every time i log in from pages like nicelucy.com wii amazonstorer.com cool gadget zone and gouds these guys are all running the exact same video ad which means that they must all be tied to the same online store and i'm like you know what since i've got to wear a mask anyway it might as well be a cool mask in fact the advertisement itself says the only thing standing against the dreaded rona so i said that's it i'm buying this thing this is the way so i head on over to niceluci.com to place my order and it looks fantastic and for 60 off you just can't say no so i spent 30 on this helmet and after the order is placed i get an email telling me that it's about to ship so i click on the link to track the package and i notice that it's coming from china china i thought how long am i going to be waiting for this thing to arrive but i wait patiently and i track this thing as it makes its way through mainland china to los angeles to me and ladies and gentlemen i have received the package and the 12 year old inside of me could not be more excited and with my new helmet made of pure best car steel i'll be the most feared scammer bounty hunter in the entire galaxy so let's check it out drum roll please [Music] wow is this a joke it actually came in a bag the box was just for theatrics this thing is my helmet this thing is made of rubber it's it's not a helmet at all i paid 30 for this it doesn't look a thing like the video advertisement here i'll put up a side by side well who knows maybe it looks better when it's actually on your head i can't even wear this thing it smells like someone's just spray painted it you'll you'll pass out in a minute wearing this thing you can hardly see out of it this this is a piece of crap so yeah this thing sucks do they really think they're gonna get away with sending rubber masks after promising solid helmets so i wrote them back playing stupid and i said hello i believe the wrong item was shipped to me attached is what i received can you help me get the right item and a few hours later they responded and they said dear customer we really appreciate your great support on us but sorry for the inconvenience that you don't like the helmet it's not a helmet it's a rubber mask they said if it can fit you well will it be possible to give others as a gift or how about you resell them to others give it to someone as a gift i could not pay someone to accept this piece of crap they'll pass out from the fumes after wearing it for 30 seconds if yes we will offer you three dollars refund and 10 off discount for your next order as compensation wow a three dollar refund that'll make it right if you insist on returning it back we will go to the further step please tell us which way you would prefer oh this is great customer service but i seriously have no need for this thing so i just asked for the refund options hello we are sorry for any problem i need explain that if you need full refund you need return the items and pay the shipping fees there will cost much money and time to returning the item from your place to china in this case how about we give you five dollars refund and you don't return the parcel you can keep the item there for your friends or families as gifts waiting for your reply keep safe and healthy best regards oh well this is great i spent thirty dollars on a cheap rubber mask that was uh promoted as a helmet and i only get five dollars back but on the bright side i guess i have a great white elephant gift for christmas later this year you can't treat customers like this in 2021 and expect to stay in business and as a matter of fact at the time of uploading this video it appears that every one of the websites selling these flimsy masks are down why couldn't they just figure out a cheap way to make the product that they were advertising well probably because they don't have a license from disney to produce authentic items which is something that you should always look for when you're shopping also you should make sure that you buy from trusted websites that have verified reviews don't believe everything that you see on a facebook ad in fact i don't even know how these ads got approved and there were obviously some clear red flags on this ad but i went ahead and i placed the order because i wanted to see just how bad this product was going to be and i wanted to show you what to look out for but not even i could have guessed how bad this thing was going to be but it's okay i'm not mad again i'm a grown man and i don't have time to play with star wars costumes anyway [Music] you
