[Music] hi I'm Eric Siegel with kid batch survival and today we're going to be checking out mission 62 of battle box it just arrived a couple days ago I've already checked out a few other battle box missions on this channel previously and in case you don't know battle box is a monthly subscription box service and they deliver sort of outdoorsy bushcraft hunting camping materials every month and you know I've said this before but I don't get this box because I think I need what's inside the things I need I already have I get it because it's fun it's just kind of exciting to see what's in the box every month and you know if you don't like subscription box services well nobody's got a gun to your head you don't have to get it if you don't like it but anyway this month's box is pretty big so let's go ahead and open it up and see what's inside alright so here's the mission card and then we've got gigantic cooler all right looks like there's a knife more a knife alright so we've got a cooler we got the more knife on top and we got the mission card so there's the basic the advanced the pro and the pro plus I get the Pro Plus bucks every month and we say this month's pro box has a value of two hundred and thirty five dollars and forty cents I pay 150 for it so there's what it is and then on the back he's got a description of all the stuff anyway first up we've got a more knife that's never a bad thing this is the one with a fire starter in the handle the companion spark very cool go ahead and open this up I always think it's kind of ironic that you have to use a knife to open up a knife so here it is the Mora companion spark and it's got a Ferro rod concealed in the handle and then you can strike it with the spine that pretty cool now I've actually seen reviews for this knife where people were complaining that the knife did not fit into the sheath right and I think those people were unaware that when you get this knife out of the box down in the sheath they've hidden the lanyard so you have to get that out first so there's the lanyard for the back of the knife and once that's out well then it'll fit in just fine anyway yeah the more knife companion spark or I guess I should say more a Neve if I want to pronounce it correctly but I'm an American we pronounce everything incorrectly yeah Scandi grind stainless steel Ferro rod in the handle what's not to like so back to the cooler this is a Coleman soft cooler kind of reminds me of a Yeti in fact it's probably Coleman's answer to it yet in a lot of ways got a little hatch up here so you can quickly get to drinks and so forth and then there's the inside and we've got more battle box gear on the inside cool and there's another knife oh yeah there's the interior of the cooler it's really thick that's why it reminds me of Yeti and it's got handles on each side zipper up top seems to be really good quality I like it so here's that second knife it's the revolt Sulu Sulu red designed by Mike Villa camp and I've seen these on YouTube and these are pretty cool I got to say so [Music] so it's the seal ooh sliding ultimate locking utility knife so this is pretty sweet the blade opens up like that and you've got this gigantic curved blade but then it turns into an alunite so what you do is you pull in on the lock and push in it clicks in place and now you've got an e leu knife like those Alaskan blue knives that's really cool I actually like the illu knives a lot there was one in a previous battle box and I use it all the time in my kitchen and then there's a button right here to put it back to its normal position pretty neat I gotta say of all the knives I have and I have a lot of knives in my collection I've got over 200 knives this is certainly one of the most interesting that I have seen Revolt knives the silhou the sliding ultimate locking utility knife opens up like that and then slides down like that to turn into a nilly knife that's really cool right on so then we've got the smaller box that was in the cooler so let's see what's in here well I got some coffee it's pretty cool campfire medium roast coffee ridiculously smooth with notes of almond hints of cinnamon and a lingering finish it's made in Georgia by the queen bee coffee company I believe the guys who do battle box are located in Georgia which is why I always get my box so quickly but yeah that's pretty cool campfire medium roast coffee I'm gonna have to try that out up then we've got another worden field knife of some sort battle box likes to put the Lord and field stuff in their boxes a lot so it's one of those forks spoon knife dealies but this one seems like it's pretty good quality it's pretty heavy so you got spoon you got a fork with a bottle opener and then you got the knife now can't hurt to have one of these pretty cool let's see how sharp the knife is yeah I can shave with it so it's definitely sharp that's pretty neat then we've got the this is pretty cool crow Camp tech fat rope stick so I think I've seen these before there's a big wad of wax impregnated rope in there and push it out like that and you just cut off whatever you need and use it as tinder to start a fire that's pretty cool and looks like the last thing we have is the bug bite thing insect bite and sting suction tool and you've probably seen me before so if you've got an insect bite to try to get the venom out so you push down on this thing and then you put it over the bite and you pull up and leave it there for a little bit and it'll supposedly suck the venom and the poison out I'm not sure how effective these are but it's pretty cool and it's also got an adapter here you can turn this around like that so that it's a smaller circle and that'll help you concentrate the second power probably helps with removing stingers and stuff like that and then it's got a little chisel tip on each end to help remove stingers or splinters or anything like that let's see what the instructions say so bug bite thing is a suction tool that extracts insects saliva or venom from under the skin to help alleviate the itching stinging and swelling that occurs with bug bites and stings when you remove the irritant your body stops producing the reaction that is causing the uncomfortable symptoms and then a scott direction step one two and three and then there is the reversible cap I was talking about flip the cap to reveal a smaller area of suction which can be used on places like fingers and toes okay that's what it's for and then you got the scraper right there on each end of the plunger pull so yeah not bad alright so here's the entire contents of battle box mission 62 we've got the coleman yeti light cooler i'll probably use this on my next road trip we've got the campfire medium roast coffee i'll try that tomorrow morning we've got the bug bite thing suction tool i'll just throw that in my first-aid box we've got the pro camp tech fat rope stick i'll try that on my next camping trip we've got the Lordan filled fork spoon knife thingy never hurts to have one of those we've got the more NIMH companion spark i've actually got a couple of these already but it never hurts to have another one and then we've got the silly knife made by Revolt knives and this thing is just this thing is just really cool so yeah I actually like this month's battle box last month's box I wasn't enamoured with but you know that's the way it goes with the subscription boxes some months are better than others and of course how much enjoyment you get out of each box really depends on you personally and the stuff that you find enjoyable and I actually like the stuff in this lunch box and I'll be able to use most of it so anyway that's about it for now I hope you enjoyed this I'm Eric seagull this is kit Bosch survival and I'll see you next time you
