Bankrupt Lottery Winners ABANDONED 1980’s Custom Luxury Mansion

what's up guys ethan back at it i've got something super special for you today right here big old house this was built in 1978 by a very very famous award-winning canadian architect um i'm gonna leave the name out obviously because that would make this house easy to find now a little story with this house it was originally built in 1978 for a lottery winner who obviously won the money had this house built but then they went bankrupt around 1988 and then the house was put up for sale it was sold to a family who lived here until 2021 in the house has sat vacant since so let's get right into this this door is just wide open okay so starting off here we have your front like family room living room i guess this is about a 6 000 square foot house we have a lot of ground to cover here you have this beautiful fireplace which i absolutely love that's beautiful nice hardwood flooring let's go to the let's go this way because yeah it makes more sense so this is probably your formal dining area and before we leave this area i guess i should point out like the lovely pot lights everywhere um and the crown molding it's just great so very nice first room here so yeah here's your formal dining room lots of light the wayne's gutting on the wall nice french doors it wouldn't take much to make this look well you could honestly move into here it is very hot i will say the if the air was on would be much nicer but it is very hot little slab like granite that's killer um i like fixtures nice i have the table right in the middle and yeah big big room i'd love a home like this like this is like a dream home type thing for myself this type of place so you've got these double doors which would be nice because you know if you're that's obviously the kitchen so if you're cooking dinner you know you shut those everyone's sitting out here on the table waiting and then you come in here and before we continue i i seen these all throughout there's another one over there i believe the people that lived here were jewish i think that's what that means wow look at this look at the view okay we'll get there we'll get there we're getting ahead of ourselves here so the power does still work it's only been empty for about a year it was sold to a builder it was put up for sale and a builder bought it who's gonna tear this down and then build about a 9 000 square foot house in its place which is pretty crazy i can't imagine why you'd need anything bigger than this look at that yeah the whole wall is like murals like leaves and flowers and stuff like that that's really cool big black sink that's huge does the water work no there's no water big center island refrigerator oh look at that keys and a garage door opener maybe the intercom still works um did we try it no way it works it works that is amazing [Music] i could have kept that on that was a good song coming on there the weekend would have been a good song let's shut this yeah the murals on the thing is that's that's awesome that garbage like a trash compactor it is that's so cool i've always thought these were cool i've never had one of these that's that's cool yeah look at that so cool a little like breakfast eat-in kitchen area here that's really nice this is a beautiful kitchen so much cabinet space and i noticed up there there's speakers up there there's probably one oh not up there um oh i see one up there as well so that's interesting save that area we'll get to that in a minute there's laundry room with a very trippy light that can't be on because that's hurting my eyes oh my gosh that was trippy the light bulb was like it's tripping out modern washer and dryer but very old cabinets and flooring and whatever you want to call this wall pattern what is that oh just the alarm you guys know how i am why can't people just close stuff anyways walk-in closet oh wow does the light work it's very dim but it's enough i guess to show you the mural what was that what is that um [Music] y'all heard that right that wasn't just me anyways bathroom two bathrooms that close together on the main floor weird nice what's up though guys and here is your main entrance that is just incredible look at the big old skylight up there there's been animals on the skylight you can see they're like prince i don't know what animal would be up there but those are big paw prints looks like a raccoon maybe so here we'll show you this before we look at the last room to the left so there's your stairs you come in the front door big winding staircase open to obviously up there but down here as well which we'll get to that so much natural light just beautiful and then your little like office slash library whatever you want to call it i guess the dark like oak wood paneling that is real wood too that ain't like the cheap stuff that's the real solid wood so these built-ins here pretty nice they're probably all empty which is kind of why i don't ever like go through cabinets and stuff because 9 out of 10 times are just empty anyways and it doesn't really like matter there's no point even but i know some of you like to see inside so i do like to i guess peak in there sometimes just to be sure that it's empty oh man i love this room open these up nice same too with the glass here above the front door that's really nice all right so the basement here oh whoa oh that's nice really nice window big rec room this is huge look at that it's different but it's cool wayne's scouting this is locked yeah holy geez it's huge intercom there this is massive you could have so many like different activities down here wait is that like a separate entrance like what is that steps okay i wasn't thinking right and i'm like obviously there's a door here it has to be an exit but like that's interesting extra rec room space see the light on over there i think we'll do those before we go upstairs let's go down here first what's that oh just furnace and hot water tank whoa hope the lights work let's use that to our advantage here we go nice that's a beautiful fireplace oh yeah with the wood even up here that's awesome that's awesome all the dead bugs nasty that window's cool they could have just left out a wall but instead they put the window what's up guys ooh bathroom oh no is he alive oh he is he is oh that's this is why i hate basements that is literally why i'm gonna shut these lights off there's no point in using power nobody's using what's this cedar closet yep this is another bathroom again with the washers holy geez what's up guys that's like two bathrooms down here already what is in here whoa what what yo what a sauna oh my gosh yeah i know again i want to point out like the lights work and it probably doesn't look too abandoned but i promise you it is this is it they just haven't cut the power sometimes it stays on longer than up others before they're knocked down but i this is not i don't have like permission to be here it's not for sale none of that nice tile that's very 1978 it's a tile on the ceiling yeah that's intercom in this two fridges with water in it don't know why i open that one smells bad oh my gosh oh does it ever smell bad here's our cool look up that's awesome you know okay almost done so we're done up here we're done down there let's go see what's going on top floor so we're gonna go straight here and then over to the right okay it is hot up here first of all holy geez so this is just like your regular non-master bedroom and it is absolutely massive holy geez closet not a huge closet but i mean a lot of shelving what's this oh cool little like tiara like a dollar store tiara not too bad intercom painted gray of course it's not the original color look how frightened nice this is bathroom number one up here bidet toilet tub fireplace [Music] what's up guys times one we gotta spin around and there's two another big bedroom no shortage of big rooms in this house no way that crystal's on the thing that is so fancy what well at the time i'm sure it was this is the smallest room so far and it's not small those are kind of neat they're mirrored which means i can say what is up you guys that one is not mirrored so you can't do it on that one i'm gonna catch some hate for saying it so many times but oh well what are you gonna do oh wait before we go in there look at that oh my gosh that's so nice okay so this is the hold up look at this that's the view oh yeah so yeah here's your master bedroom this is absolutely massive there's a mirror which we will get to nice fireplace wood-burning fireplace man this this is old luxury but old luxury to me is a lot nicer than this modern luxury this is just fancy i don't want to open that just in case it's armed or whatever but you can see that would open nice side yard if you will that's where actually where we started was right down there massive walk-in closet huge the trims are all gone removed those must have been nice if they're salvaging those and then oh another intercom nice master bathroom look at the clam shaped thing the sink what's up guys oh i forgot to do it not getting away from me this time what's up guys look at that even in the switch what is up guys there's no such thing as overkill around here that's cool i guess i'm doing it so many times to be honest because i got a comment that wasn't very nice and i'm doing it to spite them i guess nice tub same thing is the same pattern that's in there like the same tile beautiful tub nice little window overlook your lovely backyard you got your big deck you barbecue whole nine yards another sink that's shaped like a clam that's awesome another thing to say what's up guys another thing to say what's up guys today toilet i think the days are weird personally not a fan of that whole concept not going to get into that toilet paper still though that's good yeah heat lamps are always good to have too okay that just about does her um [Music] actually let's go over here and done this
