Bank Fishing with Zoom Flukes (Catch PICKY Bass!)

there's one another one eat it e to eat it got in that time good morning fish and friends just wanted to say hey i hope you're having a good day if you're not having a good day remember it can always be worse i just got to the spot i was going to go fishing drove about an hour 15 minutes got here and uh realized i didn't bring my gopro camera back there that's my lure i was talking to you oh no dude big one did you see that dude yeah there we go first frog fish of the year yo let's go all right well not a moose didn't expect to be catching a moose but ladies and gentlemen the first frog fish of the year for debo on the sixth sense vega frog i'm a big fan of that frog walks really easy has a nice little spit to it definitely going to be putting some working on that little black frog little debo dink pound and a halfer there we go all right little guy we got a bunch of weeds and stuff i'm gonna have to give you a little toss it'll be all right awesome there's one all right well i switched over to the old fluke i saw that dude cruising gave it a toss and looky there caught one on the old fluke oh get out of there all right oh decent fish decent fish right there all right there we go oh look at that all spawned out super skinny the old fluke thank you mr fluke for uh for doing the job for me there that fish was stuck all right there we go it's been a lull had some bites on the frog frog bite died off off he goes yeah it's been uh it's been kind of a strange day rigmarole of a day forgot my camera snapped my line had to get different frog line got some frog bites missed some really good blow ups had to go get gas just kind of a kind of a little debacle another one man i felt him smack it too all right well guess it's the fluke huh oh that's a good fish that feels like a solid fish it feels like yeah i got some shoulders might not be a monster but feels dece or he's just really angry are you just a really angry fish i guess could be jumping gosh he felt like larger than a pound and a halfer all right well two on the old fluke huh pin thank you very much fish for not coming off cool another pound and a half look at those markings about the eye good markings on it pretty little fish all right the old fluke does it again that was just random casting and that fish came up and grabbed it i felt him thump it too no oh yeah on the old fluke oh my god there we go missed one on it caught one on it i needed to redeem myself dang it all right there we go another one on the old fluke thank you mr fish maybe it was your rusty rusty shackleford talk that got me all pepped up here and ready is that your bucket down there did you lose all your manners pick up your bucket you never throw flukes this would be a perfect time to get used to throwing them because they're actually eating them here we go just saw fish cruising through will he eat the old fluke oh there he goes so i guess i just gotta wait to see something swim by that i'm sniping it randy i want to see you on one of those one of those stand up boards is that what they are what do i got to do to get you on one of those to go fishing oh dang it i want you to watch game of thrones and i want to catch some of these fish my name randall i don't like to be nice i like to be abrasive to debo i'm gonna catch this one this guy was looking at it oh how how have i missed five fish shut up randy had it been a bass could have been gonna snipe this guy right here oh he's looking he's looking finally huh finally he popped it he popped it as soon as i pop hit it as soon as i popped it out of that uh grass huh all right well there we go another one on the ol the old fluke doing the deal catching the fish he was swimming through down there i know they're not on the tally straight shirt sharded all over he straight did the little debo hi my name is randall once again i'm abrasive that fish pooped on me back in the day i didn't ever really like facial hair then you know what what kind of grew on me i only know 25 letters of the alphabet oh yeah yeah i don't remember why you're like oh really you're not gonna get me with it and i still hit you with it you couldn't stop the joke dude get the white new balances with how did this get tangled around the tip oh my gosh there's that fish again eat it these are new balances eat it eat it got in that time finally wow all right fishing friends well i think that's my biggest of the day it looks it looks all right there we go another one that little guy right there doing all the work that i had to let him eat it more that time it's like under the there we go i got it oh my gosh all right there we go another little pound and a half freeze long but he's skinny another one on the day the fluke is doing the work off you go mr fish all right well that's all it is i've got a three that's that same spear point hook i was using the other day um so far i like those it's supposed like it's supposed to put their lip in this channel like their lips was to get in there and make it harder for them to like weasel out yeah and then as for the lure there it is uh the special that we got today randall said he wanted to try some flukes i grabbed some and then stole some out of his bag but again just the regular old super salty fluke just the regular green pumpkin that's it doing all the work today weightless they don't want to touched doing anything there you go there we go fluke doing it again for me [Applause] all right it's what they want weightless fluke going in there super natural looking on the way down weightless another now this is not a beast by any means a bunch of little males up here still but over pound there again everything's been over a pound i haven't had any super dinks i don't think so we'll take them another one giving us a little show all right well there it is i think we've proven uh proven what the deal is today weightless fluke super slow sinking they want it doing nothing on the fall you can twitch it a couple times and then sometimes they'll go after it but i mean these bass are post spawn you can tell skinny post spawn males up here roaming around starting to look for food we've had a bunch of crazy weather we had like a week straight of rain and then we had it was super cold last or today this morning whatever it was like 43 or 44 when i got up same for yesterday so it's been like weird weather here in iowa i don't know what the heck's going on memorial day weekend and we've had 43 degrees the weather when 44 degree weather when you wake up what do you do make the best out of it keep going out and fishing i have that little fish app thing and it said that today was supposed to be horrible uh what do you know still caught fish you know bluegill are up here bedding and starting to spawn they're going to kind of get their revenge and get some meal on them and i think that's honestly what this you know green pumpkin zoom fluke imitates is some sort of bluegill bait fish type deal running through and they've uh they've definitely been eating it there's another well there we finally got our dink he is uh he's not a pounder but he is another fish on the old fluke tally a day that has been rough a grind even though we've got nice cloudy weather been a rough grind fish are not chasing but they'll eat that fluke doing nothing all right fishing friends it was it was an interesting day started out the day uh not on the right foot got here and realized drove an hour and 15 minutes realized i forgot my camera so randizzle is the subscribe fishing friend of the day he is the man behind the camera right now randall thank you so much he loaned me his gopro for the day that's why i stole his card uh he didn't even take video what a nice guy randall thank you you're welcome pal so then it got kind of weird because i was throwing the frog and as you can see i had to rip all that line off this is that dominate braid that i got off amazon i would recommend not getting it i had it break once and had it break again today three foot from the tip of the rod we stopped at a local tackle store and i'm glad we did because i got some of this power pro max quattro i don't know if you all have ever used that i personally had never used the max quattro before um i like it works very nice so far we're going to see if it holds up hopefully it doesn't break also at the store i picked up some zoom flukes i picked up a few things like randall grab a couple things as a thank you i'm going to get them for you throw them in the cart and he's like i never tried flukes grab some of those so we were out today water is super clear couldn't get a bite on anything moving i caught one on the frog had what we each had like four or five blow ups on the frog i had that one big one that i missed that one hurt a little bit the rest of them were just kind of dinks whatever um but i thought you know what today looks like a good jerkbait day in this clear water let's throw a soft jerk bait so as for the combo i was actually trying out those spear point hooks i told you that earlier but if you saw those in the unboxing they're supposed to have that little v-grip spot here that's supposed to keep the fish like pinned in that spot i had some of them just barely biting at the tail when it was coming down i noticed i had to let him eat it you know get that little extra bite and actually hook them but once i did that no problems again the same combo that you've seen here not too often you've seen here often that's what i meant the okuma tcs rod that's a seven foot medium rated for lures up to one half ounce um that itx spinning reel 15 pound uh the p-line tcb braid uh to a 12-pound fluorocarbon leader and then that zoom fluke just a weightless zoom fluke and i noticed all of them wanted it doing nothing like you would just throw it they would see it coming down you could just barely you know twitch it a couple times and they would hit it but anything moving i was throwing it was just scaring fish off i think that's kind of what your deal was too right yep my whole deal was i didn't want to throw the same thing debo through like he never wants to do that what i do um i was throwing a fluke for a little bit but i had it belly weighted with a 3 30 seconds belly weighted hook too much motion um there was too much where it sank too quickly for it to really actually be effective whatsoever i tried throwing an underspin i tried throwing a chatter bait i tried throwing a jig and really the only luck i had was earlier this morning when i caught a couple of uh topwater fish on frogs i guess do like debo and not like dizzle yeah i'm excited we both caught our first frog fish today memorial day weekend and it's cold it was like what what'd we say 44 yesterday when we got up i think 48 or 49 today crazy i don't know but we both got our first frog fish mine came on that sixth sense vega definitely gonna throw that more we're gonna try to get out tomorrow and throw it a little bit but uh that's enough for me you're the subscribed fusion friend randall thanks for letting me borrow your gopro today would have been a waste
