Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden ULTIMATE GUIDE! 10 Tips I Wish I Knew Sooner! | Beginners Guide

so I've been playing banisher ghost of new Eden for the better part of 3 weeks now and I've learned quite a bit in my time just going through the game and enjoying everything that the game has to offer with that in mind there were quite a few mistakes that I made that has hindered my progress and if I had known the things at the start of my playthrough things would have been much smoother and I would have saved so much time including having to restart the entire game to correct some of these mistakes so with that in mind in today's video I'm going to be showing you 10 Things I wish I knew before starting my playthrough of banisher ghost of new Eden each of these tips should give you some direction on what and what not to do and probably even help you save a lot of time where I made my mistakes in just keep in mind the Saga gaming channel is going to be covering all things bishers ghost of new Eden so if this video helped you out consider leaving me a like cuz that helps me out and let's Dive Right on into my first tip now one thing I made a massive mistake on doing early is sometimes some of the people that can be banished are shopkeepers and unfortunately if you were to banish any of the shopkeepers they inherently lose their inventory so this means if you didn't buy their equipment their resources and many things that each of these individual shopkeepers offer and you banish them you effectively break your entire run on being able to get that equipment and it'll require you to get another start or essentially a new game plus to do this again and essentially you're going to have to do the entire game over in the new game plus because there is something of a new game plus in the game in order to get those equipment that could in theory finish a build or just go for your completionist so for my first tip is make sure you are very careful on who you banish and if you are banishing a human make sure they do not have a shot because you will have to do it all over again in order to get every single item in their store for my next tip let's talk about Elites and as you progress through the game you will unlock things called Elites these are ritual sites where you can use a portion of materials to summon an elite and in turn they will drop Elite gems each of the ones that you find on the map can either be an endless Elite or a normal Elite the normal ones will only do one individual boss you will get an elite gem for that but there are endless Elites now this is essentially a way for you to farm the elite gems and Elite gems are typically used in the final two tiers of basically upgrading any piece of gear from pristine to Relic sometimes you'll find one or two in the lower tiers but for the most part you're going to be using them for the endgame tier of upgrading all your gear now one thing important to know about these endless Elites is as you progress through them they're going to get increasingly difficult and difficult to point where if you're not relatively strong you're going to actively not be able to kill them and in turn not be able to get Elite gems so my next tip is going to be be mindful of what you upgrade if you are trying to upgrade a piece of gear or you just want to stay strong I would recommend you upgrade to rare and not move on beyond that unless you're 100% sure you want to use that piece of gear for your build early on I used a lot of my Elite gems on pieces of gear that didn't actually work for my rifle build and I end up wasting a lot to to the point where I couldn't really upgrade to where I actually wanted it because I had no Elite gems this is kind of a two for one I guess because I'm showing you where you can get Elite gems fairly easy but at the same time just make sure you're using this wisely because you may have to start over or you may have to like be very strong and you're going to have to take a lot of time to like actively kill these in order to get those Elite Gems or even worse spend a thousand of the currency in order to get it from a witch which is not very reasonable considering how much cash you get in the game moving on let's talk about skill points and as you level up you will get skill points for red that will be able to be used to upgrade your Evolutions one thing early I made a mistake on was not doing a lot of the ghost hunts and ghost missions because these ghost missions will give you skill points for Ana as you look all over the map you'll notice there's a lot of exclamation marks and if you hover over some of them you will notice that they will sometimes give Essence rewards and this is going to be the primary resource for you to get and take a skill now the reason why this is very important is if you're a red main like I use primarily for my rifle build while he is going to be very useful a lot of his good skills are locked behind Ana having her stuff unlocked and having these Essence points to enable bridging to his skills are going to be very useful of course you can always build into Ana as your primary damage dealer but typically from what I can tell red is typically the main DPS with Ana being the secondary DPS so for this tip just make sure you are actively getting Essences as you progress to the story you can continue to upgrade as you level while we're on the map let's talk about the yellow question marks that you'll find all over the map and these question marks are very specific and special events that will in turn typically give you really good benefits you'll notice sometimes you'll get void ritual sites and these void ritual sites will link you to basically an area where you need to defeat uh an elite or defeat a bunch of enemies and once you come out of these specific zones you will actively get a chest that have a lot of really good gear now this isn't always the case but generally if it has a yellow question mark you want to prioritize getting them done if you can as they bring you a lot of value and a lot of powerful gear speaking of powerful gear for my next tip we're going to be talking about cursed chess now as you progress through the story you will eventually run into seridian as well as seeker and these two individuals are going to be the thing that help you unlock the cursed chest these cursed chests contain very powerful pieces of gear and if I'm being 100% honest and not mess with you guys every single one that I've opened so far besides maybe one of them seem extremely useful for a build and generally speaking at the time you get them in the game which is about 30 or so% through the game uh I will say that is very worthwhile doing the side quest that let you unlock these as they give you a ton of power and they're really build enabling now on screen now there will be a time card that has a full-fledged way of showing you how to unlock these chests it's a fairly simple video it's like 4 minutes long so maybe save even go check out that video after this one but again the cursed chests are something you definitely want to pick up because they do contain really powerful gear moving on to a more obvious tip but as you progress through the game you'll notice that there are a lot of Collectibles to pick up this can be plant or many other things basically like that that's going to be used to contribute to upgrading your gear now one thing that you need to do is absolutely every time you see anything pick them up that's a tip I guess but more importantly if you do want to Farm a very specific thing you can always go back to base reset it it will respawn the enemies mind you but it will reset the items for you to continuously Farm them each individual Zone in the game will have different things so the horos the darkwoods the Meer marshes as well as Mount Pleasant will have individual items that's specific to those zones so make sure you're exploring the area and maybe even Mark where are some of the best materials that you're going to need for upgrading because you're going to need a lot moving on let's talk about special require Ms or whatever they're called I'm going to call them special requirements but as you're going through the game and you're unlocking different things very similar to the endless modes there's endless void breaches there's endless scourges they endless everything and each of these endless will have a mission on the right corner on the right side you'll see it here that gives you bonuses one thing you'll notice whenever you use that special mechanic you'll get a ton of extra damage to help you pretty much kill things or defeat things relatively easy now I can't say for sure but I do feel like if you're not using that special mechanic the damage that you typically do will be a lot less than normal I'm not 100% sure on this because seemingly it feels like I do significantly less damage this could be just because they're challenge modes But ultimately what you should be doing 100% is using the modifier on the right to make sure you're getting the best damage out of it so you can finish these really quickly and there you have it guys those are the 10 Things I wish I knew sooner before starting Bish's ghost of new Eden technically that was like 11 because that was multi-level on some of those explanations but still regardless I think these are going to be the best tips for you as you're progressing through the game they're going to give you the best possible start and hopefully help you not to make the mistakes that I made especially the ones where you kind of kill the vendor that one's a big massive one they did that on purpose but it is a massive one so hopefully you guys don't mess that up like I did again if the video helped you out do consider leaving me a like as
