[Music] um so [Music] hey everyone how's it going well today is july something it's 28 29 but anyway yesterday we had it was total heat wave yesterday like the first really hot day of the summer that i know of and it was about time because man did the hay ever dry and it was windy too uh we cut this hay it was four days ago now and uh yesterday i jumped on the baler uh we started raking and we're quite surprised it was dry already we raked it and then i bailed right behind uh just with the one baler because we had to take the uh mx 120 off the other baler and put it on the grain back because we have to haul some grain to the feed mill um so we tried to take the 210 but it's got an overheating issue we're gonna look into that but uh anyway so i bailed that by myself and sean and rory were hauling drinks but uh i bailed up to there till midnight last night and it was so hot it was actually shattering too and then right right around 10 o'clock it started to get better got you know muggy and a little bit dewy so the hay was actually really really nice and this is the stuff i've just right now and you can see it's ready to go just nice no rain on this stuff we've got about 500 rolls of no rain no rain hay so far yeah this stuff's ready to go i gotta come back with the baler right away so yeah anyway i got the 770 with the rake and if you were asking questions about the 770 i'll go get them closer here so yeah this is uh i believe it's a 74 72 to 74 770 case it has the four-cylinder four-cylinder case in it and it's not power shift it's a standard uh i don't know i think it's got about 70 horse or so i'm not a hundred percent trying to have to look it up as you can see 267 cubic inch engine still the original back tire on this one we changed the other one that one flap this is still the original back tire fronts we've done they don't make tires like they used to that's for sure uh we're pulling the citrex uh ten wheel rake and we could probably use a twelve well if the other one's this one it's okay but you get on the 14 foot headers there and it's a little wide to catch it you have to have it put right out extended but it works good uh yeah well with the four-cylinder you can fill this up with diesel and go for days days and days you can almost rank everything with a tank fuel that's one thing you like and it's the open station so on days like this beautiful perfect i actually prefer it well except for yesterday it was pretty hot but i prefer to uh prefer it over the cab what i was trying to say instead of ac but yeah let's go for a ride [Applause] so we cut this field right after the one that was on that and i'm gonna break the first round see how it is this hay is a lot heavier this was a monster hanging here it was really heavy so let me see how it is i'm gonna walk in here and check it see how cured it is that uh 32 celsius and wind sure does a number on it just like a huge dryer as you can see it was lodged pretty good you could cut it going this way it wouldn't cut it good but coming back cut it clean let's see what we got here wow look at that that's almost dry that is pretty much almost dry this can be turned this can be turned up you can uh we cut this side here so we can turn all this nice all right let's get to work well that's taken over and i'm gonna go get the baler well back here on the field that i was raking this morning shawn's got it all nailed up now uh he's gonna jump to the other side there and do those two so now all the all the swaths will be uh just come with the rake back and forth there's nothing in the way no more well looked like it was gonna rain but i think it's gonna it's gonna peter out before anything happens so it was lightning there for a while it wasn't uh the rake wasn't gathering the hay very good some of the swaths i don't know it just wouldn't take it i think we need one of those rita rakes from premiere so i had the 568 baler on the magnum but the magnum sprung a leak had three hydraulic hoses that were just started to leak they were just weathered like old old age so they needed to be changed so me and laurie got all those off and it's a real pain very big pain to take those off tom's just throwing the bales by the out of the way [Music] you see the haze actually it's actually over dry tight it's not bad though the duo will be sitting in here so it'll be just perfect here in a bit [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] we get a lot of that with the rake when we come back to make it so so [Music] ultron just about got this side done this hay is actually all dry we went and checked it after it's pretty dry but we were scared to rake anymore in case it rained because if it rains on it raped then it's then it's crap but if it rains on it just in the swath everything underneath is still green so uh when i get the other uh tractor going tomorrow the guys will be raking everything and i'll go get the hoses made up tomorrow morning and sean's gonna jump to this side of the creek and bail those all eight round should be about 150 i'd say about 100 120 rolls in all around here this is a bigger area on this side so i'm going to head back to the tractor now i'm back in the yard now sean is still giving her anyway here's magnum here for had the oil leaks the baler the baler is working great it's it uh it's pumping out bales like crazy now like i said just put a little bit of money back into it new teeth and all that a couple springs and there you go she pumped out 250 rolls yesterday and then another 30 more today when this oil leak was starting to get really bad so these are the hoses that all have a leak in them and you can see they're pretty pretty cracked and worn is this number one yeah this is the one that was leaking the worst and what it is is these are brake lines hydraulic brakes so there's your hydraulic brake controller right there and this is where i've got one two and three looks like somebody oh no nobody marked them anyway uh this was number one there and when i stepped on the brakes to put pressure on the brakes this thing was uh leaking hydraulic oil like a sponge like squeezing a sponge it was just coming all over the place so there's really no one place is coming out it's just all over so with all the work we had to do to get this out we thought why don't we change them all because number three is leaking too and you can see all the cracks in it and number two wasn't really leaking but who cares it's all cracked up too so each one they're not quite the same size a hose so i'm that's why i marked them when i'm gonna take them to town hopefully they have these hopefully they have these ends there are flat face ends and what what is what they do is they go under the tractor here under the cab and they hook into these steel lines so in order for me to get a wrench under there i had to move these steel lines up to get them into the open that is not easy we had to take the floorboard out as you can see and the panel there and it's still the the number two one is easy because i just took it off from where is it right there that's where number two comes off number one comes off way back there and you gotta there's a you can't see it but there's a clamp that holds the steel line in place all the steel lines in there just like that like my finger and then a bolt on top and you gotta loosen it it's almost damn near impossible to get your arm under there uh that one's not bad the one back here was the worst this one unhooked right there and i pushed it back you can see it right there uh the other one was actually let's see if i can do some light no it's too my battery's too low uh there's there's one clamp over there now you cannot reach it from here i have to go in between the tire here and there's barely any room and they make they don't make this tractor easy to to change lines on uh if you lift the cab it's easy but there's right there i took that apart right there and then pushed it all the way back there so that being said it should be easier to get it all back in but that's gonna take at least three hours just to do all that back in there so and i think i got the oil leaks licked on this there was some way i thought it was those i changed this one last year on the video and i thought it was that one but it's not but that's okay i changed it anyway i had changed this one one year and that was hard you had to get the exact uh this is okay here but on the bottom there's a a 45 you have to get that exactly the same or you couldn't bend the hose to get it all started on the threads so anyway other than that this thing was uh it was it was just like i said it was a scorcher yesterday and it was running kind of warm and usually this tractor does not run that hot but it wasn't hot but it was pretty warm but uh i blew the rat out today the air conditioning was going full blast yesterday just just enough to keep you comfortable well yeah that's about it for this video i'm gonna leave you uh with that so uh thanks for watching leave your comments down below and uh make sure you click like for the video and i'm going to bed good night
